Good range of choice, and the ice cream machine was a very nice touch. Not sure it was worth what we paid but it’s still pleasant enough and you can eat as much as you want which after a long day in the park is welcome.

Unfortunately this place let our stay down. Breakfast buffett was absolutely diabolical. Everything was freezing cold from the eggs to the pancakes and the hash browns stone cold through and through. Toast will do you here, and cereal as nothing else is edible. Such a shame for the cost of the hotel.

We had dinner here during an overnight stay at Chessington - newly £70 for two adults and a child excluding drinks, for that price it's very poor quality food especially the kid's options. The staff when we could find them were helpful, but overall it wasn't a great experience.

The Temple Restaurant disappointed across the board. The quality of the food left much to be desired and the hygiene of the plates and cutlery was questionable. The staff didn't seem particularly attentive or professional either. Overall a disappointing experience.

Food was ok at best, not particularly hot and nothing stood out as particularly good. Staff were friendly, though fizzy drinks machines weren't working and they didn't seem too bothered when I told them - despite the fact we had paid 4.20 each for "unlimited drinks"! 76 quid for two adults and a child, including 2 small unlimited drinks that we were only able to fill once - staff should have been wearing balaclavas. Biggest let down of the trip :(

Terrible.... Wouldn't bother for the money. Unless you like beige food I wouldn't bother. I can see how I would appeal to some families, as an easy quick option. Buffet style, with the usual options for kids, chicken nuggets, fish fingers, chips etc. There was also a carvery stand, but the meats weren't of great quality, overcooked and dry. Tables weren't cleaned, even though there was plenty of staff hanging about chatting. Drinks were exuberantly over priced for what they were, but I suppose it's a captive market. If your staying at the hotel, you'd be as well taking a trip into Chessington town an going to a restaurant there.

The venue could be good but poor service and overloud background sounds are not good. It has ants running around the room in a tube that is fascinating to watch. Unfortunately at certain intervals the background noise gets louder and louder. This is not good for anyone with sensory needs. You have to go to the bar for drinks, there is no table service. The room is dimly lighted by yellow spots making whatever you have on your plate look the same. The quality of the food was poor to say the least. Table was booked for set time but was a free for all. Edit: Spoken to the manger and today's breakfast was much better.

We took my daughter to Chessington for the Zootastic weekend on the 12th and 13th February we book dinner for 6.30pm at the Temple restaurant and it was the worst buffet/food we ever had, firstly the food was cold and hard (roast dinner buffet) the temperature wasn't checked at all on the food, having paid £54.85 for the 3 of us it was like having poor cafe food. The staff were unprofessional poorly trained they took our refillable cups while we went to get desert (it's a buffet ensure people are finishe) I told the lady who couldn't talk English and she called her colleague over I explained again and she went off and got us drinks. To my horror they grouped by our table talking and giggling in their own language we felt so uncomfortable and got up and left. The following morning we went for breakfast thinking it would be better but no food was cold sausages were hard, bacon cold, beans and eggs were cold we then just opted for fruit and toast and went to the park to eat. I complained to reception who gave me an email to write my complaint to and she said she would talk to the restaurant manager. Anyway today I got a response to my email offering us £15 pounds vouchers as compensation, this in my eyes is an insult. I forgot to mention the roast dinner was so dry it broke the filling in my tooth. I've replied rejecting their offer as this isn't a one off just look at the same reviews on Trustpilot. Can someone from senior management please reach out to me from the hotel.

More than one coffee dispenser needed as created queues and the watered down juice not very nice. Staff tried to clear tables quickly. Social distancing not adhered too by anyone and staff did not implement this either. Also had evening meal which due to being a sunday was a carvery. Plenty of meat options and vegetables. Not many options for children ( fish fingers and sausages under the counter?) And poor choice of desserts. Just ice cream and churros. Refill drinks used to be included in the price as previous visit but now they are charging extra. Also ask for blue light discount as this is not promoted by staff but is valid.

It was truly awful and breakfast was just as bad so we won't be eating at this hotel for the remainder of our stay 🤮🤮. We couldn't even have an alcoholic drink in the temple restaurant... Try the beef curry it's amazing and the kids loved their choices. The young chaps that booked us in ( reservations were on line) checked we were okay with the allergen menu. The theming was great too but not to in your face. Think rainforest without the Ott thunderclaps. The chefs were informative and the chap who was cleaning the area never stopped moving. Set up for social distancing and although busy we were not made to feel rushed. You can go to the buffet as many times as you like and the chap doing the ice cream managed really well. With 20 percent off with a merlin card I thought this was excellent value for a 'hotel meal'. Keeping two picky eaters and one dietary need person happy is not that easy but we should sleep well and after mobile ordering the vodka it's almost guaranteed.

We have been regular consumers of Take Away deliveries from Deea, with a high level of expenditure over the last few years. Last night , March 16th 2024, we ordered a delivery at the cost of £88. Firstly , a king prawn shashlik dish @ cost of £16 approx. one of the most expensive dishes on the order , was not delivered. I rang the restaurant and it was delivered , albeit later than the original order. Then my daughter found a black hair in her vegetarian dish,. I rang the restaurant again, and the manager rang me back shortly afterwards to say it was a hair from a brush they use on the Tandoori grills. He sent another replacement . By then it must have been some time after the original delivery and my daughter would not trust the food again, feeling quite ill at finding the hair , and of course by the time the replacement dish had been been delivered again, it was all to late for my dinner. waiting for the prawn dish and hers, it felt like money wasted . Ok, these things happen people might say , but when you spend £88 ...not unusual for us with Deea , it is not unreasonable to expect due care and attention. We will not be ordering delivery from Deea ever again. Just not good enough or acceptable standard of service. Very careless and poor customer service.

Having been to the Carluccios in Richmond recently, the Bentall’s branch in Kingston felt like the poor cousin. The portion sizes of food were smaller and the staff serving were not attentive and kept trying to push add ins like a salad or bread. We were not enthralled and having been going there for years and years, it sadly is not how it used to be. The penne Giardinea, their signature dish, you have to find the courgette balls! Tiny and sparse. This used to be such an incredible dish.
