Terrible? Chicken was so small and over cooked and dry! When challenged the supervisor she blamed the measly size of the butterfly chicken on the supplier! But you still charge the same price for a piece of chicken the size of the palm of a one year old! Also so dry! Poor Nando’s

My wife and I came to watch a movie (without the kids) and after we realised that we had not eaten, so managed to get into this Nando's before it closed. They were cleaning up at 9:30pm, so staff were pretty much milling around. However, we were served in a professional way and the food was to a Nando's level. Best thing was, one couple had come over from the hotel, and they were in their nightgown and pyjamas. Added to the whole experience! Wouldn't say no to coming again, so if you're in the vicinity, if it is open, and you're hungry (and like Nando's), then you won't be disappointed.

Arrived at 4pm after a cinema visit , the restaurant was quiet, ordered two half chickens one with hot sauce one with medium sauce , after waiting 40 minutes for our order to arrive ,we had one with hot sauce and one with no sauce which we had to return. The food was Luke warm.

We were served by Lim and he was incredibly helpful and polite. Have visited before and luckily he was working again which was a nice surprise. The food was fantastic and all the servers were incredibly helpful and polite. We will be visiting again. 😋

Arrived the lady that took us to a random table, never spoke, threw the menu on the table and walked off - sat in Bistrot Pierre with excellent service

Waitress who showed us to our table did not speak to us. She was eating / chewing and made no attempt to welcome us or explain how the system worked. We were taken to a table where the air-con was too high - it was far too cold - we were not asked about the suitability of the table or we would have requested to be away from the air con. The menus were dumped onto the table and the waitress then walked ahead to the service area without saying a word to us. We looked at each other, stood up, and walked out. We have never been treated with so much disrespect in any Nando’s or other restaurant. First impressions last. Sort your act out Nando’s Coventry…

We really enjoyed our visit here. Handy for the M6 as we broke a long journey, shown to a table straight away on Saturday tea time, service was prompt and friendly and food delicious. Would have no hesitation in calling here again when in area.

visited on 9th june 2022 in the evening. got a table immediately. table wasn't wobbly......so off to a good start. i had chicken thighs, mash & peas. She had a chicken pitta & fries. I've been to four different Nandos in 2022 and this was different foodwise. The portions were smaller all around. Mash portion was smaller. same for peas. same for chicken thighs which were noticeably smaller than the ones recently served to me at other branches. chicken thighs were also overcooked making them dryer than usual. i thought Nandos was standardised like Mcd , kfc, et al so was surprised at the difference. Maybe they are cooking the smaller chicken pieces for the same time they always have resulting in overcooked meat and dryness. couldn't taste any sauce on the chicken either. i don't think i'd visit this branch of nandos again. staff were decent enough. no issues there.

Have been a regular visitor to Nandos over the years and have always loved the ambiance and the Chicken . Off late the size of their chicken are getting smaller and smaller. Its like you order a XXL tshirt but get a size S instead ! Its ridiculous because they have hiked the price post pandemic and why would you pay for a chicken lef which looks like the chicken was malnourished or was on a keto diet ! Felt a bit of a rip off and i think somewhere Nandos has lost its charm and its quality. Its more about making back the losses due to the pandemic. The newly launched Peri peri sauce was a joke too . Its nothing but your regular cheap gravy granules mixed in boiling water. I think Pepe’s is anyday better compared to them now or Perio’s . Nandos need to seriously get more on the plate rather than a new born baby chicken grilled in the name of a full combo ! I do know that Nandos struggled to get its chicken due to the fuel crisis that hit the UK few weeks ago , so makes me wonder if they are buying their chicken from Farmfoods instead ?

We (group of 6) had a lunch(Dine -in) at Nandos - Showcase Coventry(Walsgrave on Sowe, Coventry CV2 2SZ) on 28/10 at 12:00PM. 3 people in the group have reported food poisoning in the morning. They suffered from vomiting, headache and diarrhea. Very disappointing to see the food quality from Nando's causing severe health problems.

Very rude staff and awful service! we arrived at the restaurant and there was a slight queue. we went in to see how long and the young blonde girl on the entrance desk told us to 'stand' in the queue and it should be half an hour. we stood there half an hour and the queue grew quiet a bit in size. the people behind us started going in and were being seated at tables. I walked in to ask what was happening, to which the same girl I spoke to earlier told me they were in the virtual queue. She didn't bother mentioning anything about this to me or my friend at the time of entering. When I asked why she didn't tell us to do this, her reply was that she 'did' in a very rude manor. I am 100% sure that she just told us to stand in the queue. I asked if anything could be done to get us in faster as we had already been standing there half an hour. her reply was to now get in the virtual queue which would be another half an hour. After this we decide to choose somewhere else after we had been talked to with poor manners

Virtual queueing a joke. Advised of a 20 minute wait still waiting for message 90 minutes later. Good job there was alternative eateries locally. If technology is used IT NEEDS TO WORK.

Don’t bother until it’s open properly again. We ordered a delivery through the Nando’s website and there were quite a few items missing, the food we did have was cold and dry, when I phoned the restaurant the person was very polite but explained because they use deliveroo there’s nothing they can do about it. Deliveroo said they would “look in to it”. So some of us have been left hungry and not we are out of pocket too. If you are going to use a company to deliver then you really need to collaborate with them to make sure your customers are not losing money and left unhappy. I won’t be giving Nando’s any money again.

Chicken was alittle on the dry side. Had better but will give it another try when we are back in town!

Probably the only place we have eaten in that are following all of the current guidelines from not touching your cutlery or glasses to ordering via the app.The queuing system worked great and we waited less than 5 minutes.A really lovely man from Essex explained everything to us as it was our first time back and he was lovely and smiley and great.Food was as always amazingSocial distancing the tables is brilliant. They had the boards on every other table to ensure you were not next to anyone and the round tables in the middle were not used.Everything was just brilliant including the new drink, they were handing out tasters for free.

Nervous about going out shielded person here. Went out for hubby's birthday. Wheelchair user too. New covid-19 safe measures mean there is oodles of space for my wheelchair and social distancing, table service for food AND drinks. Excellent service and a much less crowded more relaxed atmosphere. Thanks to all staff.

Got here at 11.45 and scanned to queue. Waited till 12.30 and not one person had gone in. When asked how long was told 90 mins. Why open at 12. If you’re not letting anyone in. Rude staff and no consideration for their customers. This would have been first time here. Will not be trying ever again!!

Don’t order this! I have just to home and it’s basically just a box of spinach a few grains and 1 broccoli stem really disappointing

I brought the grandkids here for a treat. The seating is too squished but the food was nice as it usually is.

Ordered a takeaway, fast & efficient! Member of staff was stuffing their face at the table near the ordering point - not a great first impression I have to admit as it wasn’t a pleasant sight. Chicken was dry and quite bland despite a medium peri peri sauce.

Me and my partner came for dinner here, in fact we come for dinner most of the time if we are going to the cinema. I have to say I like the type of service Nando’s provide. And not many people like this but going to order at the counter picking my own cutlery and drink is actually what I like about this place as this gives a lot more time for the staff to do other things than giving table service. No need to say anything about the food because everyone knows they always make it perfect. The food arrived quick and they is nothing bad to say just perfect. 10/10

Popped in for lunch after the cinema, we were seated straight away and the food came very (too?!) quick and was hot. There was rice all over the floor where we sat and the pot that has the cutlery in was filthy at the bottom so could do with cleaning that out.

A lovely greeting on entering Nando’s and we were shown to a table really quickly. Beautiful decor and tables were cleared and cleaned very quickly. The staff were all lovely, friendly and efficient and certainly offered good suggestions when ordering. This is the first time I’ve had a cafe latte in Nando’s and it was so good. The food was really fresh, tasty and certainly filling and I would definitely return to this Nando’s.

Refurbished and it wasn't much different, although the tables feel even closer together than before and the chairs with the rope-backs are just germ traps waiting to happen. Food was your typical fare, nicely cooked, spicy chicken at a moderate price - must admit the number of people taking mini squash bottles and having free water should tell Nando's people are fed up paying extortionate prices for post mix coca cola!

I am sure most people use this Nando’s pre cinema so we arrived early to make sure we got a table. At 6 o’clock we walked straight in but by 7 they were queuing outside. Pleasant staff and standard Nando’s food.I had a gift card from a while ago, which I didn’t know the value of and the girl at the till was quite happy to try various values as apparently the worth of the card is not easy to read. We eventually sorted it out and the food came quickly.

Couldn't review it any lower as the food is great! But I prefer the other Nando's due to seating arrangements - this Nando's is very cramped and crazy busy on weekend evenings so service is a much slower.

Super quick takeaway service. 15-20 minutes even on busier days. Food is always fresh and tasty...highly recommended!

Decided to give the newly refurbished Nando’s a visit, there are certainly more tables than before and they have removed a lot of the big wooden structures from the middle of the restaurant to make more room.

I come to this nandos a fair bit as it's the closest one to me. Not a fan of this particular nandos as it's too small for the amount of people they get walking through the doors. The waiting area is cramped and you often find that during a long wait, you're standing up for 40 minutes with no hope of sitting down.

First trip to a Nando's after every friend I have recommend I go sometime (I feel not having been to Nando's is similar to people who haven't seen Game of Throne's, in that the people who have never shut up about it!).

Staying at the nearby HI, and decided to give this Nando’s a go, a really friendly welcome and seated after a short wait.

Wanted to grab something quick and although service was quick food was so bland it was completely tasteless.

Took an age to be seated, then to get food. Corn on the cob was disgusting the chicken overdone and the extra extra hot sauce was runny and tasted nothing like previous worst experience ever

We brought my cousins young daughters here for a treat and I was surprised at how busy it was on a Sunday at 5pm. They have a good queuing system and we were dealt with and seated in less time than they had said. Plenty to choose from on the menu and the ordering was easy and quick.

Good standard fare Nando’s - cooked quickly and great tasting - if a little steep on the wallet. This branch gets VERY busy but copes well. Only reason it dropped a star is someone needs to clean the fixtures and fittings - dust and grime on all surfaces - it’s even started to coat the wires holding the ceiling lights up!

Arrived for a meal for 2 without the kids. We were told there was a 45 minute wait which we were fine with although this seemed like 20 minutes the service was that quick and all the staff buzzing around being busy. We ordered and didn’t have to wait too long for our food which was perfect and very filling. Well done to the team for the hard work and making our night very enjoyable

My colleague and I had a big group of teenagers to chaperone for dinner and wow---this was a perfect choice because the kids could order and pay at the register, and then wait for their food at the tables. The selection was huge and all of our teenagers ate very well. The service/efficiency was timely. Thank you so much!

Visited nandos for the first time with friends. It was a good experience. We was seated quickly and wasn't waiting too long for food. The food was nice and overall it was a pleasant experience.

It’s been a while since my last Nando’s. Ordered online to save time - my mistake. Double chicken pitta with med salad with chicken breast. Well chicken breast was dry, hardly any sauce. Might as well of went plain. Never again

Grabbed a "cheeky Nando's" with the family and again it does exactly what it says, great tasting food at good prices. If you want fine high-end dining with A1 table service go elsewhere !!! Here we got good food, piping hot and very flavourful. Love it, time and time again, never been disappointed.

Choose Nando’s as we knew what to expect. Firstly they tried to seat us at a table in the pitch dark. They tried this with several people even though other tables in daylight were available.

Visited today for lunch. Nice welcome from the staff, restaurant was clean and tidy. Prompt delivery of the starters, but followed too quickly by our main courses as we hadn’t even got half way through the starters.

Visited with my friend. As soon as the food arrived, staff turned the air con right down. Bearing in mind it was very cold outside and we were sat directly under the air con, It was not a pleasant meal. Took manager over 10 mins to respond by which time we had finished our meal and decided to leave. Complained to Nandos Experience who told me to ring the restaurant directly!! Worst customer service ever.

It’s a Nando’s. food is the same as any other of the Nando’s chain. Gets very busy and you can expect to queue at busy times. Service is ok. Place is clean.

First time in a long while visited Nando’s will definitely be going back the food was delicious and the service was excellent sat us down no waiting time and the food arrived very quick. Highly recommended.

Had been to this Nandos around 2 years ago and it was the dirtiest Nandos we had ever been to. So we decided to venture back and very pleased to see it's clean!!! Now the downside. We were sat 2 tables away from the door and got frozen every time it opened, so we got moved towards the back. 90% of customers were in coats and some still wearing scarfs!!! So the move was better but still cold. Staff said heating on full, but not very good and won't be fixed until April 2018 when it's due a refit. So for 4 months if it's below 10c outside, wear your thermals to be comfortable while you wait for your meal. Oh and be prepared to wait as out of a row of 4 tables, 3 of those had the wrong food delivered to the tables and needed to be returned. That said, when the food finally arrived correctly it was very nice and just what you expect from a Nandos.

Family of four ordered four different sizes, marinated with 4 different spices. All food served piping hot with potatoes, vegetables and garlic bread. We really enjoyed the cozy surroundings & music. Service was excellent & friendly. Best order 1/4 Chicken Leg & Breast

Excellent restaurant smaller than other outlets but service is first class good variety of food on the menu to suit everyone and good portion sizes for kids

On my first visit to a Nando's restaurant I found that you were herded in like cattle, and then pretty much left to your own devices. On ordering food the starters were cooked and served at the same time as the mains. The food was overcooked, and the chicken dry. There was a number of sauces to change the heat of the dish but overall it looked unappetising and certainly not worth the money charged. It did not look and taste authentic. I won't be going back in a hurry, unless under duress!!

Stopped here for my sons 6th birthday, on our way back from the zoo. Half an hour wait for a table. Would have been awful with tired 4 and 6 year olds, but bday boy really wanted Nandos!Ray on the door noticed the cake, was amazing and sat us on a great table I guess they keep aside for emergencies, food was a decent wait given the fact they were heaving, and they even brought the cake out for us to sing happy birthday.This visit could have ended my sons bday in one of two ways, but the team here, and Ray in particular, smashed it and sent us all home happyThanks Guys, good work!

I came to this Nando's a few times for work when we placed takeaway orders. Food was good and enjoyed it. Just got annoyed sometimes as they forget the little extras they add at the end like the coleslaw or rice or sweet corn or the sauces for the pitta bread. I got used to asking them when I picked the orders up.

Come here a lot with work as it is close by. Food is usually quick to turn up even when they are busy, and always cooked well. The interior, chairs, booths, tables etc could do with a spruce up and a deep clean though

Grill Restaurant and Non-Halal Great food, PERFECT!Regular visitor of the Nandos Grill restaurant near Showcase. Kids love it. Have some great steak choices too. Brilliant sauces and peri peri sides.Portions are a bit small compared to the original 4 Nandos 18yrs ago but still the food is very good. Occasionally if theres been any issues the staff have gone out of their way to sort it out.

Perhaps it's just me but the whole Nando's experience isn't great and worse at this restaurant due to the general cleanliness. In general the food was ok but the service was impersonal and no one checked on our food.The table was clean but the wall we sat next to had drip marks and food on it, the toilets were the same ( once I'd navigated my way around the abandoned extra chairs). Staff so rushed that in the short time we were there at least 2 glasses were broken while they were clearing. Not a good experience.

We arrived around 17.30 and the restaurant was not busy at all,we ordered 7 meals and surprisingly they arrived very quickly,food looked great,went for a chip and it wa barely warm,we told the guy that served us,he said no problem and changed about five of our meals that had chips for hot chips,lovely,but then my chicken was very dry but I kept eating as I was very hungry,but my son told one of the staff about it and she immediately said she would fetch me another portion,it took a while in coming,but when it came it was as dry as the first portion,but I did not say anything as I had almost finished eating while I was waiting for the replacement,I absolutely love the food at Nando's but was very very disappointed on this occasion.

I was looking forward to visiting Nando's after looking at menu. Disappointed is an understatement. Ordered vegetarian burger, with chips and minted peas; looked appetising. Unfortunately this wasn't the case, the peas were sitting in liquid and were luke warm, burger was cold. I tried to eat as meal was being bought for us. When waitress came to ask if everything was OK I told her my meal was cold and she immediately, no quibbles, went to reorder the whole meal ( I wasn't too bothered about the peas). Waitress returned with a whole new meal, again looked lovely. Sadly although peas were a little warmer, burger was cold again. I couldn't eat it and it has put me off returning. Left my meal and felt upset that I had put dampener on evening. Positive note chips were hot.

Both myself and my daughter come here regularly and I have to say the food is amazing always freshly cooked to order and it's a very popular outlet of Nando's it's clean and tidy and all staff are wonderfully helpful I cannot fault anything about this branch of Nando's Free parking outside it's all on one level I can highly recommend this restaurant to anyone of any age pricing is very reasonable and you are able to collect reward points every time you visit and that has enabled us to use and get free food Would like to thank Scott and all the staff here for making every visit we have such a wonderful one

We often pop into Nandos when going to the cinema. The food is consistent and the service good. It does tend to get very busy at lunchtime as it seems to be popular with the working population in the Walsgrave Triangle but service is still pretty quick.

Ate here for a double birthday celebration. It was a busy evening but the staff were very up front with how long we'd expect to wait - and were very accurate with their timing which was impressive. Ordering the food was seamless and the chap taking the order was very friendly and patient. Our food came quickly and was delicious. One of the birthday boys doesn't like too much spice and the staff changed his chicken for as plain a meal as could be arranged very quickly and with no fuss or complaint. The staff were excellent.

Came here on a busy Saturday night and the food was well cooked and delicious. Only downside was when we asked where our food was we were then told our burgers took longer than other food, would have been nice to know this at the start.

This is a really nice more upmarket fast food place. Really nice to bring your family out for a bite to eat. The food is reasonably portioned and you do not have to have it spicy. I was pleasantly surprised as I do not like hot spice. It was delicious.

Le concept est original, on s'assoit, on choisit sur la carte ce qu'on veut manger, on passe cpmmande au comptoir et on paye directement, on prend ses couverts, sa boisson (à volonté) et les sauces puis on va s'asseoir et les plats nous serons amenés directement pa les serveurs et tout ça dans une une très bonne ambiance. Je conseil leur poulet qui est excellent, tendre avec des niveaux piments.

So many people raving about Nandos, we decided to see what the fuss was about.It's chicken cooked in a sauce of your choice. That's it.Tasted ok, but really not worth the money IMO. Can do better at home.

On a busy Friday night we were surprised (in a good way) to get a table. Impressed with the staff and speed of service. Great tasting, good value food with a nice selection of dishes. My expectations were surpassed when I asked about the really nice custard tart pastries, they baked a fresh batch for us! Great all round, family restaurant.

Fabulous joint to have grilled chicken. Good variety of sides, salads and sauces that go with the chicken. Wraps are good too. Not much for the vegetarians. The meal deals for 2-3 people are value for money. Try the whole chicken... along with spiced rice, corn on the cob and the chips- you will never regret it!

Had my sons birthday party here, there was 8 of us, I got there early so we had a good table, I waited for my sons friends while the were finished watching a film. I was there for 45 mins and the staff were brilliant, really helpful.The food was amazing, we were not waiting long and it was really busy.

I was looking for some good, honest, cheeky chicken and that is certainly what I got. Got the hot sauce cos I'm a lad and didn't cry once, so I think it's safe to say I impressed all the girls. Overall, a successful trip, made better by the protein gained from said chicken (bare gains)

This is a great outlet of Nando's always busy which for us is a good sign of popularity staff are extremely helpful you are greeted at the door and shown to your table plenty of choice on the menu for all age groups Food arrives freshly cooked very quickly and well presented I wouldn't say Nando's is cheap but overall for good food it's worth a few extra quid. Drinks are not as cheap as other places although the fact the cold drinks are refillable is a bonus. Restaurant is clean and tidy and staff do come to check you are happy with your food toilet facilities were immaculate so for me this is why I gave it 5 stars I can highly recommend this particular outlet of Nando's

Came here as it is next to the cinema we were attending that same evening. We were welcomed in and were told that there was about a half an hour wait. We decided to wait, but only had to wait about 15 minutes. This restaurant is very small and some tables feel too close together. Staff are friendly and know what they are doing, you feel looked after. Food was very nice! It did take a while though, the kitchen is only small with a handful of staff working it. Mind you, it was a Saturday night. I think I would visit again at a less busy time.

Pretty standard Nando's... nothing too remarkable, food arrived reasonably timely and the chicken was tasty. Rice was a little underdone and they had no salad on the day we visited which I thought a little odd. Our table was by the window and in winter there was a significant draft coming through! Staff seem pretty nonchalant and it's not particularly good value.

prefer this one to the one in the city , but a nandos is a nandos , and always love to go my favorite 'chain' restaurant in the world

I love coming to Nandos as the food is always excellent and the price is good too. I came here with my friends. There is a variety of food for vegetarians too.

One of my favourite places to eat. Food is always on point, staff are always friendly and the service is always fast. You can be in and out of here in an hour even when it's busy. Highly recommended.

Good old Nando's. Does what it says on the tin!! Chicken and spice...Forgot starter which we ordered o keep us busy until after the dinner but other than that. Good wings. Nice sides. Bottomless drinks.

I ordered the mushroom and haloumi wrap and initially thought they'd left the haloumi out!All I had was a wrap that consisted of loads of lettuce.. I had to undo it to find the cheese and about a quarter of a mushroom in each half at the bottom of the wrap.The menu should really say 'wafer thin Haloumi'. I had to put my glasses on to distinguish between the haloumi and the actual bread wrap!! I was very disappointed.If they cannot cater for people that want other than chicken they should mention this in their advertisements and menus..If I hadn't been celebrating a friends birthday I would have suggested leaving but it had been her choice to visit.I found this to be very overpriced for a pile of lettuce wrapped in a parcel.

I arrived at 21:15 in a group of 4 and had to wait 15 minutes for a table which is a good sign as it looked very popular. The staff were very helpful and courteous and the food as always was very tasty and well cooked.

We come here often and the food is always delicious, with generous portion sizes as well as free refills on soft drinks, the food is always cooked quick and on our table within about 15 minutes. The only downside to this place is the spice level seems to vary from time to time, sometimes extra hot is 'extra hot' but others its no different to medium.

Overpriced, under portioned, absolutely disgusted in the quality and the quantity. £9 for a wrap with bearly any chicken in and literally a child's portion of chips which you have to pay extra for!!! , made too spicy even though I asked for a mild (after queueing for nearly 10 minutes)How this company operates I have no idea, is it fast food, is it a restaurant? No one seems to know! Even the menu is confusing! I wasnt the only one who was confused, the lady on the next table also didnt understand how the menu worked. The waiting staff hovering around like vulchers, tried taking plates while we were still eating. But also walking around in pairs so they don't have to stop their conversation. Wanted mayonnaise to cool my spicyness of the food, oh no mayo. What?!?! Who doesn't have mayo? This was my first visit to a nandos and needless to say I won't be returning to one again, absolute shambles, and a rip off!!! Not a happy bunny

Quite a small place. I don't get why you can't get served at your table. It's not exactly a kfc style joint. Food is OK, but felt disappointed. I guess the price is OK. I would never choose this over other options nearby again.

الموقع ممتاز في وسط كوفتنري بالقرب من الجامعه .. تصميم المطعم ومداخله العده تجعل منه أكثر شراحة.. الطعام لذيذ والموظفون ممتازون و ودودين .. المشكله الوحيده كانت في عدم فتح جميع الطاولات بمافيها الخارجية للزبائن
