Namaste by Delhi Darbar in Glasgow City

We chose to eat here because we had looked at the menu and decided this was the place to go. The staff were welcoming and gave us a table and took our order quickly. However the restaurant was cold...really cold. Our meal came and the food was lovely, couldn't fault it. However within 10 mins it was cold and couldn't eat it because it had gone as cold. We had to put our jackets back on, we had planned on dessert and coffee, but we were freezing, it was uncomfortable so decided to finish our drinks, get the bill and go. I really wouldn't recommend table 3 at the window. The girl who brought the bill did apologise. Shame though I was looking forward to the mars bar pakora.

The food was lovely and so as the staff. It was quick and the environment is nice and very clean. Definitely gonna get back.

Delicious and affordable food! We had the deal of 2 courses for £17 and shared a dessert, all of which was served fast and by the lovely members of staff.

We were served by Islam and Raman tonight. They were very kind and helpful! I asked Islam for tips on the foods, as I was unsure what to eat, and he quickly knew how to recommend something i would like. Spot on! Cherry on cake was Raman's tip and explanation on their Masala Chai! We loved it, thank you both for the wonderful time! This is my second time visiting, and both times always left happy and satisfied. I shall come more often. Service and food 10/10

Food was rotten ,Chicken not nice very squidgy and rubber and prices very prices 2 curries a starter 2 drinks 70 quid which chicken didn't get eaten so had rice curry sauce I wouldn't recommend it better places to go for food

This spot is a relaxed night out with the most amazing food and fabulous services. Would definitely recommend to tried and true Indians eaters and people wanting to try for the first time.

Food was the best I've had out in Glasgow by a mile. I will be visiting again next weekend and trying out some other dishes that I didn't try!

I went out for a lovely meal to celebrate my 18th birthday with my best friend, the waiters did an amazing job at making the night special, they were all extremely considerate and helpful. The food was delicious all served relatively quickly after ordering , aswell as this they have a great drink selection, over all a great experience and will definitely be coming here again.

I came for lunch with my sister and niece on 13/4/24. All of the staff were so friendly from the second we stepped into the restaurant. Greeted us as soon as we walked in and showed us to our table. Great service always making sure everything was ok. The food was amazing and fantastic value for money. First time visiting and we will definitely be back! Would highly recommend

I’d been before with a larger group but bought a deal from Itison for £29 which offered 2 courses and sides of rice and nann. We ordered a bottle of Corona at £4.50 and a pint of Cobra at £6.20 - a bit pricey I’d say. Our starters were chicken pakora and veg samosa. Both were warm and tasty. For mains we both had lamb bhuna and mine was a bit spicier than normal. I also ordered a portion of spiced onions at £2.50 with the mains. The meals were very enjoyable and service was very good. We finished with a coffee americano each at £3.50 - again a bit pricey. All in all a very enjoyable dinner but the extras, in my opinion, were a bit overpriced. That said, I’d return and I’d also recommend.

We’ve walked past this restaurant several times until we finally had time to stop for lunch. What a very pleasant surprise as you don’t expect such good food in a shopping centre. We’ll be back anytime we are in St Enoch shopping.

I came to Glasgow on a solo trip for Easter and, because I’ve been staying in a hostel rather than a hotel, I’ve tried lots of different food from different places. Namaste was by far my favourite. The lamb chops were seasoned perfectly and had a really good flavour, and the masala chips were the perfect addition. The service was friendly, quick, and efficient; I was made to feel very welcome which is nice as a solo traveller. The place was decorated nicely and had cute thoughtful touches - even the bathroom was decorated beautifully!

Lovely lunch bowls, great beer and atmosphere was decent and filling for me. Was a bit spicy but nice so ask for less if so! Thinking about breakfast now!

Love Namaste for a lovely GF meal. Menu is marked and the staff are lovely. Love that the curries are a bit different and the ice cream is amazing

The food is amazing, I came with my partner who is Punjabi, she said the food was nice. The Garam Chai is next level 👌🏼 The Garam Chai is around £4 for a little cup, it’s worth it though, and sometimes they can do refills depending on if it’s quiet.

Absolutely love coming here for a full bhoona at breakfast time with their masala chai tea which is heavenly! Definitely worth getting out your bed for in the morning! Also the service is always incredible, the staff are so friendly and attentive and always on hand for tea refills! Love this place !

The best Biryani I've had. My wife got the lamb Bhuna & honestly the lamb in both dishes melted in the mouth. The atmosphere was excellent, service second to none, the place is absolutely spotless. If you haven't already... You have to give this place a try. It is a little expensive but when you get the quality of food they serve, it's definitely worth it. Can't wait to go back.

My friend and I always go here when we have a mums night out! We wouldn’t go anywhere else as the food is amazing and the staff are lovely! Would highly recommend this place to everyone.. and definitely try Grandad’s Masala Chair- it’s so good!
