There is a small seating area downstairs and it's so smokey because of the open kitchen area behind the counter. My eyes were burning by the end of the meal. The smells the burning the banging and chopping is really disruptive and spoils the experience. The food took a while to come which is fine it was piping hot but the large mixed platter, which we ordered, was dry and the seekh kebab were so hard, chewy and dry. The naan was huge which was great but I did not enjoy the food so would not revisit sadly. Bonus you do get free ground rice pudding, but it's not creamy it's just milky lol. The service is excellent the waiter who served us was great he was so good with us, he packed our leftovers 8n a heartbeat so bravo to him !👌

This is my favourite spot for an afghani/Peshawari meal within UK. Most of all I love there hospitality when they bring in free desserts and tea at the end, always a pleasant surprise. Must visit if you want best Kabuli Pulao within UK and also charsi tikka is so good.

A group of six ladies travelled specially to eat at the Tooting branch from Kent. We had checked the restaurant's website that said on Thursday's the open at 12pm. We arrived at 1.10pm and had to knock on the door. The gentleman inside tried to talk to us through a locked door. Told him we could hear him, he opened the door and told us they open at 1.30pm. When I pointed out their website says 12pm, he just shrugged his shoulders, told us they were not ready to open till 1.30pm. So we booked a table for 1.30pm and walked around in the sweltering heat for 20mins. We arrived back at the restaurant at 1.30pm, it was still not open. We waited outside, the gentleman inside saw us and just ignored us. After a further 10mins we decided to leave as they had still not opened. What ignorant and rude behaviour, why is there no customer service. No apologies for not being open when the should be. The gentleman was acting like we were doing them a favour by wanting to eat at their restaurant. It should be the other way round. We travelled 1.5 hours by train to go there. Absolutely appalling behaviour and no courtesy full stop. Will not be going again and will notbe recommending this restaurant to anyone! Their loss was another restaurant's gain!!!!!

A very unassuming restaurant but serving beautiful, traditional Pakistani food. I was recommended by a friend and today we had the mixed grill which was very tasty indeed and followed by a traditional lamb Karahi. The karahi was wonderfully juicy and tender and the sauce was thick and flavoursome with a subtle heat that built up over time. With friendly staff and reasonable prices I will definitely be going back to this place again. Maybe try the Nihari next time. One thing to note is that they take cash only

I travelled an hour & 15mins on the Tube to dine at Namak Mandi, Tooting Bec. The place is super legit and the food was phenomenal. My main advice? The portions are quite substantial so order carefully. The 3 of us left absolutely stuffed! Our order: a jug of Mango Lassi, a large Naan, 2 Chapli kebabs, a quarter each of the Lamb Karahi and Chicken Charsi Karahi and 1/2 a kg of Lamb Chops. The key to enjoying the food is to just attack it while it’s fresh and hot! All the dishes were phenomenal and must try. Those first bites are out of this world. The Chapli kebabs are huge and I’d recommend a couple sharing one! Highly recommended.

The looooongest !!!!!!wait ,ive ever had to endure in my life.You are caged upstairs with families shouting around you and no sign of food for hours !!!!and I mean Minimum of 2 hours . I was in tears .Dont go.Silly silly service.

Food of literally very delicious. Apart from food, the customer service was excellent. One of the customer service providers, Oudhi, is responsible and friendly guy.

What can I say, I have waited too long to visit this place. Tip: make a reservation if you want to sit upstairs on the floor in the curtained booths. I was craving kabli pilau and I made the trek to South London (Tooting Bec) and it was worth it. We ordered kabali pilau (the softest lamb with rice, raisins and carrots) and the charsi chicken karahi together with a chapli kebab and naan. All of it was delicious and ample for 2 people costing (£30.00). The food came with complimentary salad and yogurt (raita) and tea. I can't wait to go back the food was delicious. And the staff were so amazing they gave me complimentary firnee (sweet rice pudding) to take home. Love, love and love this place.

Title says it all. This place is no frills but the lamb karahi is truly exceptional I’ve been several times and now I just order the lamb karahi and the large fresh naan This is more than enough for two making it good value too. You really can’t beat the taste of this dish.

Fantastic Chapli kebab, charsi karahi was awesome, pulao was super. Simply the best best food at the most reasonable price. Have been there many times in large groups and couldn’t find a better Pakistani food anywhere else. Best value for money. Excellent quick service. The staff very courteous and Kahwa was free. Our favourite eat out place.

popped in as a last min plan with a friend, for dinner, based on the recommendation of another friend. wasnt sure whether we would get a table as it's usually very busy esp in the evening, but luckily we did. the food was amazing! fresh, and cooked right in front of us. we ordered the charsi chicken karahi, pulao rice and a small naan (one small naan is enough for two to share - the large was far too large for two people!) prices are v reasonable, for two of us it came to £22 with drinks. would defo recommend and will be returning very soon! thank you :)

We ordered the chicken and meat karahi, the chapli kebab and the mixed grill. The food was bland and tasteless. The chicken tasted like it was a couple of days old, and the meat karahi was full of fat. The seating was dirty and there was hair on the cushions. Would never visit this place ever again. Chapli kebab was missing spice and salt, and was completely tasteless.

Absolutely awful disgusting food. Came here with really high expectations having made a booking. We were made to wait over half an hour for our room and then a further hour for our food, which we wouldn’t mind if the food had been freshly prepared; it clearly wasn’t. Dry, overcooked chops in the mixed grill, stale anaemic looking chicken and the lamb karahi was just rank, full of fatty, poor quality stale meat that was on the verge of going off. Unfortunately three of our party felt sick immediately afterwards-two were actually sick within minutes of having the food, with terrible tummy upsets for the rest of the night. Would avoid at all costs.

This has had to be one of the most awful meals I've ever had. Both the chicken and lamb curry did not look appetising and the taste turned out to be worse than its appearance unfortunately. The meat in the curry tasted as if it was overpowering with some sort of pepper ingredient and the curry itself was certainly not fresh. The meat in the mixed grill tasted too chewy and had an awful raw whiff. The Afghan naan bread was much thicker than we expected. The cutlery and drinking water was also dirty. The dinner knives looked like it was smothered with unwashed food so we used our drinking water to wash our cutlery again for our peace of mind. The only dish that was decent was the kabli pilau. Nothing amazing but just alright. The service was slow. Upon entering the restaurant, me and my friends were being ignored by the staff members even though we were in plain sight of them until I approached the cook myself and had told him we had a reservation. Eventually someone shouted at us to get our attention from the top of the stairs and they had taken us to our space upstairs. It was only until 15/20 minutes later that I had to get up from my seat and look for a waitor to take our order as be was nowhereto be around. An absolute shambles that was and never worth going ever again.

I was pleasantly surprised , attending this very popular Afghani restaurant at the top of Upper Tooting Road, close to Tooting Bec underground station.Parking is free on side streets after 6.30pm as the area is otherwise restricted parking.I had a positive feeling when arriving in seeing that the open kitchen was well run and clean. The staff are super-friendly.Single men tend to dine downstairs or with a brother. Upstairs has private curtained- off booths for groups that ensures privacy and a better atmosphere.I was invited as part of a group and attended to see a dear friend I’d not seen in a year from outside the U.K.The mixed grill , meat biriyani, keema, huge unleavened Naan bread and chicken curry dish with gravy were more than adequate for the 5 of us and very good value.I especially liked the mixed grill and keema fried that i ate with the Naan. Side salad plus youghurt and chilli sauces were provided with these dishes.We were served water, mango lassi to drink and afterwards a speciality green tea ( with cardoman and ginger) that helped us digest the food.I will look forward to re-visiting, a great place to meet to eat and chat in private.

Lo bueno era una ensalada excelentemente preparada y con sabor, así como un tarka daal realmente individual y sabroso. Lo triste es que se gastó tan poco en el pollo que fue difícil darle algún sabor que sofocarlo en un curry. Una marinada habría sido una experiencia diferente, pero la comida callejera no hace eso. Peor fue la completa falta de interés en asegurarse de que el cliente estuviera contento. Una espera de 45 minutos por una jarra de agua no fomenta el regreso.

Siempre he querido probar este restaurante ya que vivo cerca. Las primeras señales fueron excelentes ya que el caballero rápidamente arregló una rampa para mi silla de ruedas y se sentó en una zona muy cómoda. La espera para nuestra comida fue más larga que la media. Teniendo en cuenta que tenía 3 niños hambrientos sentados a mi lado. Una vez que llegó la comida, todos quedamos gratamente sorprendidos con la frescura y el sabor de la comida a la parrilla y también con el tamaño de la nan. Pero el pollo karai era muy normal y parecía que el chef no había terminado de cocinarlo.

Visitamos aquí un domingo por la noche, reservando con antelación para una habitación de arriba. Las "habitaciones" son muy bonitas, te sientas en el suelo y tienes cortinas a tu alrededor.El menú es muy pequeño, lo que facilita el pedido. Éramos un grupo de cuatro adultos y pedimos un poco de todo. La parrillada mixta era increíble, el naan es enorme y muy sabroso, mientras que los chapli kebabs y curry son deliciosos. Es muy difícil criticar la comida.Valor sabio, es excepcional. Pedimos comida por valor de 40 y eso nos alimentó a los cuatro y nos quedaba suficiente para llevar a casa. El personal es muy amable y dispuesto a dar recomendaciones.En general, es muy difícil encontrar fallas. Una visita obligada si estás en Tooting.

My friends and i visited Namak Mandi to have an early dinner. We ordered the chapli kebab, sarson ka saag, chicken karhai and their afghani naan. Chapli kebab was great, sarson ka saag was good enough, the chicken karhai was authentic and delicious. Overall, everything was cooked nicely and the naan was fresh. Moreover, their upstairs seating provides a cosy homely environment. If you want a private area with floor seating the upstairs seating area is ideal.

They serve the authentic Afghan Karahi. The main difference between the Afghan Karahi and the other normal karahais is that the chicken is boiled well and has onion and tomato gravy with it. Usually restaurant don't give onion based karahais as they take more cooking time. Mostly karahis in the UK (as far as I have tasted) are made in tomato and yogurt. But Namak Mandi's karahais were authentic Afghani. Though I won't say that the Karahi was Excellent in taste. It was average. Taste of Lahore has better Karahais even Watan's karahis are very good in taste.

アフガニスタンや北部のパキスタンの料理が味わえます。チャルシ ラム カラヒ(Charsi lamb Karahi) のチャルシはシーシャを吸ってぼんやりしながらゆっくりと作ったという意味のあるスロークックしたラムカラヒという料理で、お肉がとろける柔らかさなのと胡椒とレモンの風味？がアクセントになった美味しい料理でした。辛過ぎず、ラム肉の独特の臭みも感じませんでした。そしてなんといってもアフガニスタンの吊るされたナンも大きさに驚き味も若干もちもちしていて美味しいです。このレストランのこの2品は日本人の口にも合うと思いますし個人的におすすめです。大人数で行くとアフガニスタンならではの平たいソファベットのようなどころに皆で座りビニールに置かれる料理を囲みながら食事をする事も可能です。5ー6人くらいからここに座れるのではないかと思いますが念のため予約の時に確認することをお勧めします。

Best dining and food experience I've had in London so far. Hanging naans that are twice as big as your face, cushions and carpeted booths to relax and enjoy the cuisine and company. Extremely generous portions, high quality meats and awesome flavours. The lamb karahi has a strong meaty flavour and went wonderfully with the more subtle daal. Friendly service. It was an absolute pleasure. The green tea and sugared almonds rounded off a perfect evening. Highly recommend!!!

Their lamb karahi and kofte kebabs are divine! Don’t come here expecting any solid level of service. It’s a small establishment with some very laid back chefs and staff. Do come here for some food you’ll happily come back for over and over again. Best Afghani grub around.

He estado allí varias veces con la familia y es un restaurante de ambiente absolutamente familiar, especialmente el restaurante que tiene lugar en el piso superior donde se sienta en cabañas con cortinas a su alrededor para darle esa sensación de ambiente privado y usted se sienta en el piso y disfruta su comida. Si no has estado, entonces debes recomendar el restaurante, debes ir allí sin dudar. El encantador personal es muy servicial, tan pronto como te sientas te traen té verde y también después de terminar tu comida. He calificado este restaurante 5 * y me avergüenza que no tengan más estrellas, de lo contrario les daría 10 *.

Hi every one I am writing to tell you that I have come all the way far from Wembley just to taste the food of and Pakistani Indian food and its freshly made while you sit they make it fresh cleaning place is Spotless and tidy and customer service is amazing also.

Even though I visited this place twice and the food is nice yet the place feels dirty. Also service is kind but we were waiting for our order for 40 minutes when the place was quiet empty.

A nice family dinner and the food was brilliant , the service was ok the waiter was attentive but it was really busy (always a good sign ) so he forgot part of the order

Namak Mandi does a few things but it does them really well. The Chapli Kabab which is perfect crisp outside soft and with perfect combination of herbs and spices is to die for specially when accompanied by fresh hot Afghan naan. Note these are bigger than usual offerings in London and one each will feed two easily. Also, try their lamb Karahi. Their Kabuli Pulao is a great option for those who like it less spicy. The meat is HMC Certified.

This is our most visited place in london for pakistani food. Food is amazing and customer service is excellent.

First things first, this is not a place to bring your date (unless you/they are feeling adventurous and do not mind street food vibe). The place is extremely (sub) average and the service is hit and miss. My first impression was that it is targeting only a specific audience (i.e., Pashtuns) and if you happened to be there, then it is OK too. However, I might be wrong. Overall, the food is cheap and good (skip the Karahi, it was watery) and good experience. Recommended.

Tienes que reservar una habitación arriba para la experiencia completa. Raciones son abundantes; un montón de carne, recién preparado. Los sabores de las especias y no era muy buena - hot. I wouldn’t rate this as posh place to eat but I would rate the food well here. If it’s authentic food you are looking for this is the place. Freshly made food that’s very flavoursome and reasonably priced.

Other reviews have already described how the seating is Asian style, i.e. large cushions on carpeted floor, with curtained off areas, low lighting and garish colours galore. With old South Asian photos on the walls, I did feel as if I'd been transported to the 60's, great nostalgic atmosphere to set the scene.

Este de nuestro restaurante para disfrutar en fin de semana. Se especializan comida peshawar ya que no tienen una gran variedad de menú que creo mejor! Normalmente orden Kebab, Cordero Karahi Karahi, Masala y grandes que son fantásticas afgana naan!

After hearing good reviews about this place I decided to visit. The restaurant style is typical Afghani, so you sit on the floor and share the food. You are given a 'cubicle', seperated by curtains so there is privacy during your meal. The food was fine - I think I was just unlucky as ended up with a poorly tummy for a few days following. This has put me off and I wouldn't go back.

The menu is extremely limited, with about 15 dishes in all, and they had only 3 vegetarian dishes, very lackadaisical service - almost uninterested. Waiter arrived 25 mins after we sat down, and the food arrived after about 25 mins ordering - so make available a lot of time if you plan to visit and don't you dare be hungry. when the food arrived it did taste good, but we kind of had to go around in circles because of the (lack of) choices we had

Went here with some friends for iftar they gave us a nice side room to sit down on the side and have really really nice dishes. The kabuli pilau is awesome and also they really cook the lamb just right!

I think we pretty much tried everything by now and happy to say that the food is awesome no matter which dish you choose. Chubby guy who cooks is super nice too. Place is simple and old school it's about the food and not the decor etc. LambKabli pilauAnd kebab chapli are our favourites

I've been here many times and the food at Namak Mandi is always great. However, the service really lets it down. Every time I have visited, it takes a vey long time even for drinks to arrive. In most restaurants you get your drinks almost straight away, even if there is quite a wait for the food. I recommend that Namak Mandi do this at least.

Went on a whim and loved it. Sat on the floor in the upstairs area in our own 'booth' with curtains and very comfortable flooring. Food was fantastic, particularly the lamb curry and huuuge naan which came hanging up. Service was good and was a far better experience than getting a kebab from your average takeaway. This is the way to eat curry and middle-eastern food.

Restaurant suggested by a friend, very typical upstairs where you're sitting on the floor (on a very thin sofa), i advise you to try the Naan, it's huge!Only negative things it was a really slow services, guys on the table next door arrived after us, served straight away and went before we received food.But good quality and very cheap, we were three and took a mane dish each + rice + naan, 9 pound each.

Just thought would let others know that I read the reviews on tripadvisor for this restaurant and was so excited about going . We are planning a trip to London for new year so we decided that we would spend New Year's Eve at this exciting looking restaurant . I just rang the restaurant to make a booking for New Year's Eve to guarantee we get a table - well a floor space I should say - as I was hoping to ask for seating upstairs in the cozy looking authentic floor eating area. Anyway when I just called them, the phone was answered by a gentlemen who got annoyed when I asked him if I could book for New Year's Eve. He said to me "what is the point " and got angry that I was trying to book for a reservation that I wasn't going to be attending till the end of the month. I understand that advance bookings of this nature may not be the norm at this establishment but I thought that the anger and rudeness of his reply to my simple question asking whether I could make a reservation for New Year's Eve was uncalled for. He could simply politely and respectfully have told me that I should call back nearer the time of the booking . I was so shocked by his tone and manner . I have never been talked to this way by anyone when trying to make a booking and I have been fortunate enough to have eaten out at a lot of restaurants with prior bookings . Anyway - I just thought I would share my experience with you ! If you do wish to phone for a reservation - please don't do so too far in advance as you may have to endure an insulting response !

Family birthday meal. Downstairs they have table and chairs. Upstairs it segregated and you sit on the floor. Very authentic atmosphere. Sitting on cushions with pillows around. Food was good.. I found the chicken a bit sweet. Very good. Would go again.

The first I went the food was very nice so we decided to go again but the second time the food was very salty and had to sit on the floor.

We went there after 9 mile walk on Box hill. I read some negative reviews that it's a filthy place but my partner loves the food there so I decided to give it a chance. The 'kitchen' where all the cooking happens is right behind the counter . One chef with no helpers and it's fascinating to watch him tending to several dishes at a time. We ordered our food in advance so not to wait for too long when we arrive at the restaurant as everything is cooked on the spot, there is no microwaved food. There are tables on the ground floor but we chose to be seated on the first floor where the guests sit on the floor, middle eastern style . The space is divided with curtains of rugged middle eastern fabric, I was fantasising that it has been brought here by the restaurant owners, and it gives a sense of private dining. The food was served pretty quickly - lamb Karahi, pilau rice with sultanas and carrot, and a naan bread. All perfectly cooked! Awesome experience. I love this cosmopolitan city where we have these places that take you on journey to another reality …even if only for couple of hours

Lovely resturant. First time trying afganistani cuisine and have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely rice and mixed grill.

The real deal. Went in a large family group - ordered ahead of time so didn't have to wait for the food. Quite excellent and good value. Charsi chicken karahi is awesome as are the lamp chops. The kheer is malai filled and lovely. Great call for an authentically meaty evening out.

Namak Mandi as named after famous food street of Peshawar serves famous delicacies of that region. Mouth watering chapli kabab was awesome. The delicately cooked charsi karahi and Kabuli pulao were quite toothsome too.The restaurant has cordial staff along with excellent service and food with good quantity. Our latest outing is what CURRYBOND is all about. Namak Mandi sits close to Tooting Bec and sandwiched behind a bus stop and between the myriad of pound shops in Tooting for all your plastic mop needs. You would be forgiven for walking past Namak Mandi not realising the potential spicy delights waiting for you inside. But for CURRYBOND all are welcome.We therefore approach our venue with mild trepidation and cautious optimism in equal measure. From the entrance Namak Mandi certainly looks more takeaway than restaurant, but we pass the chef manning the grill and take our seats in the somewhat dim area towards the back. There is apparently a soft furnished seating area upstairs but not having been to yoga class in a good 12 years my knees decide they need proper chairs. There's not a great deal of "vibe" with a handful of other patrons appearing so overall the venue scores come in a little low.Venue score - 4.0/10.Nonetheless, we press on with our ordering and get stuck into the menu on offer. It arrives with a thud, an impressive wooden slate surely concealing a treasure trove of curry delights. The first page, a laminated affair looking like your average takeaway. Next page, hmm nice picture from the orient, then another and another...no more menu then. So just the one page in our wooden compendium and therefore not a great deal of choice on offer. Six grilled dishes, four curries, five veggies dishes and some common sides. As we have seven CURRYBONDers due around the table we say screw it, let's have one of everything!On order then we have, the mixed grill (Chicken Tikka, Lamb Tikka, Lamb Chops, Lamb Kofta), Lamb Karahi, Charsi Chicken Karahi, Chicken Curry, Charsi Chicken Tikka Masala. Unfortunately no bhaji for the latest verse of the bible but we line up a couple of naan and a pilau rice dish which turns out to be huge and hides a secret, succulent joint of lamb beneath!The mixed grill is ok, a little dry all round. The curry however is very tasty. The Karahi come in proper steel dishes the chicken is served for two and is well spiced with tender pieces. The Tikka Masala is quite sweet, very mild but pretty good. The highlight however comes when the naan arrives. We get two metal stands with giant naan breads hanging off which I expected to pipe up ala Mighty Boosh..."not you Naan Bread!". So generally we're pretty happy with our limited curry selection. Namak Mandi gets a Food Score - 6.7/10.With just five portions of curry and one giant rice between seven we actually finish the majority of the food on offer! That being said the portions are good. There are also no drink drinks on offer again so our bill comes in at a ridiculously reasonable £58.85 that's just £8.41 per CURRYBONDer!Value Score - 8.3/10.So to sum up Namak Mandi, I certainly wouldn't choose it for a date night, but for a hardened curry veteran this is certainly worth a visit. Namak Mandi gets anOverall Score - 6.6/10.

Best of all the best authentic restaurant.. Food is amazing especially charsi chicken Karhai and kabuli plao! The best !

Have eaten here a few times. One bad stomach but enjoyed the food enough to return! Staff are nice. Toilet is a bit dirty. Nice rooms upstairs for large groups, authentic experience. No booze. I'm going to keep going back!

Try their Chapli kebab it's really good, I had the best Shaag in there. The restaurant is really big, you can have your private room. Right place if you want to go with your family.

I should have learnt my lesson first time but the food was just too tasty. As good as it was, until hygiene improves I won't be returning. No food cleanliness rating on the door is always an obvious sign. Shame, food really does taste quite good.

Great authentic place. Went for lunch on a Sunday and the quality of food was amazing. The naans, chapli kebabs and chicken boti were really good! We tried a little of everything pretty much and it was all good. Well worth a visit if you're into Pathan/Pakhtun food.

Namal Mando is one of the best Afghani/Peshawari restaurants in London. Their lamb karahi is just superb and chapli kebab is succulent. Atmosphere and service is outstanding. This place is always busy on weekends and evenings so book before you go.

It was a nice place to eat in with the family enjoy a lot with the kids .mix grill lamb Karachi and chapli kabab is also very delicious

The wait was so long Me my Mrs and my friend three of us kept waiting for more than half an hour coz they were making it fresh woooo when the food came the most amazing food we had. We ordered Chapli kabab, seekh kabab and afghani pulao all were amazing specially Chapli kabab. There is little in the way of refinement here , open kitchen , no frills , basic chalkboard menu . The curry I had was fantastic , lamb korai, ordered by the weight of meat , packed with flavour and spices , if unprepared you might choke a bit but just lovely. The Naan hanging on the hook by the table was delicious . If you are looking for value for money and bags of flavour without the fine dining frills this is a good place

Mahmoud our host was very polite and could not do enough for us. Food was not extra spicy which was just right for the kids. Service was good. Atmosphere was very relaxing sitting on traditional cushions on the floor which you could stretch out and feel at home. Price was very reasonable for a couple and 3 very growing teenagers. A thumbs without any hesitation.

The food here was decent however the service was pretty bad. Kebabs were good as was the saag. Rest of food was mediocre. Place needs a serious overhaul. Was dull and very unhygienic. Service was terrible

Hesitated about the place at first only to discover that the man behind the stove in an open kitchen tending to his multitude of woks is preparing an extremely flavorful pieces of lamb simmering among fresh whole tomatoes, spiced up just right.. Fantastic with the fresh crispy afghan lavash .The second dish I tried is the lamb shank buried in a a basmati brown with caramelised carrots, a very generous portion to satisfy your palate and your gourmendise.Skip the fritters, no success there..Very reasonable prices if you don't mind a lower hygiene standards.tltoto his multitudes

Fantastic Afghan restaurant where I have always had fantastic food. Often visited after playing squash with friends and work colleagues. Mixed grill and chicken and lamb curry really good.

Enjoyed a very authentic Peshwari meal with lots of kebabs, tikas and nans. The food and the setting literally takes you back to Peshawar.

Pashtun Food in a setup that is close to the one found in the restaurants in actual Namak Mandi area in Peshawar. Must try lamb and chapeli kebab.

Food was excellent and the portions huge. Great value for money too. The Afghani Naan is a must try.

Kabli Pilaow, Charsi tikka are the best very fresh a smells perfect nice.there are + and - about sit in place. + best for private families but tight for groups some time uncomfortable. No view at all sit like in a box but service is fine food is pretty hot to eat best location for people who use public transport. after 19:00 less parking problem very busy tooting high street.

a simple straightforward restaurant without any pretensions. food is excellent value and very tasty. The upstairs eating area isn't to my liking but may be fun for families. the naan breads are great as are the kebabs. good food all round

I have been to namak Mandi so many times I love the food and Chapli kabab and try lamb karachi was good and mix grill was very good I recommended to all my friends

Amazing food.. Must try their chapli Kabab.. Lamb kerhai and Kabuli Pulao. Sitting was good, but a bit dark.. Highly recommended if you are a lover of Asian food and BBQ
