My Treats in Gloucester

Oh days no anymore to go to the treats in Gloucester. I'm a very disappointed.. The man who was cooking he's wash he's legs in customer toilet in sink,, very dirty and very untasted food.. Highly not recommended the threats.. Very terrible

We had a family meal last night, fairly late in the evening due to travelling. My treats gave us a friendly welcome, very tasty food, served quickly. Very impressed all round, also very good value for money - rounded off the meal with a cheeky icecream too, who can resist with all the flavours on offer.

We were a group of 5 staying on Spa Road, which is literally 2 mins away. The first couple of nights we went over to the Docks to eat then one night we gave The Treat a try because the kids wanted ice cream. Then we were hooked.... The burgers and peri peri chicken were spot on finishing on some waffles and ice cream. The cost of the meals was a third of the price compared to those big fancy restaurants.

Visited with my daughter a few days ago-our food was fine but the service was poor-the guy just spoke to us like we were an inconvenience and there was only one other customer waiting for an order -won't be rushing back.

Visited here for a treat after a meal out for my daughters birthday . Loved all the varity of ice creams and drinks that are available

Located just on the outskirts of the Quays it is only a few minutes walk if you want something different from all the large chain restaurants. There is a large selection of food on the menu both savoury and sweet and it is all very good value. I can recommend the Beetroot special beefburger which had great flavour, a mixture of sweet and spice. A meal was approximately £8 and included a can of drink and fries or wedges. I do agree with a previous reviewer that this is not fast food, it was relatively quiet when we were there on Saturday night and the food took just over 20 minutes, but it depends what you compare it to. At the same time if we had tried to get into TGIs for instance we would have waited at least 45 minutes for a table and then possibly the same for the food. The staff were very friendly and we would certainly go again. My only advice to My Treats would be to spruce the place up a bit, it does look a past the point it should have been redecorated etc.

I have been here several times now and we're still unsure if the restaurant is actually finished - decor looks odd upstairs with marks on the walls already and some wood around a pillar! Service isn't too bad. Sometimes slow. Burgers are nice but they got my order wrong last time and I am unable to eat anything spicy! We have to say The Waffles are amazing and very much worth waiting for. Lots of desserts to choose from - you won't be disappointed.

I have had many good burgers here but I have to say that the service is exceptionally slow, I have always been told a certain time and when I get there they have not even started cooking it. The last burger I had was disappointing as they weren't even going to add the ordered sauce I requested in it they burnt the bun and despite me asking for just a few gherkins they pilled them on, I will give them another go as the food is excellent but I would advise if they say 20mins pick up in 40. Pricey for a long wait!

A real treat. After an evening meal we dropped by for dessert. Amazing!! A delight to witness the making of fried ice cream. We were here on holiday this was the cherry on the top. Thankyou truly scrumptious.
