When we arrived the young waitress grumpily told us to sit down and gave us our drinks very sour faced with no chat at all. The food was really lovely quality with a lovely range! Once we were ready to pay and leave the waitress ignored us and sat on her phone. She was smiley with everyone else but seemed to be a bit odd with us. We’ll definitely be going back for the food and the lovely manager/ chef but disappointed in the service.

Every year we end up here for either breakfast, lunch or ice creams. Good variety for lunch for adults and kids.

Had a brilliant lunch with top service (with separaters for covid ✅) friendly people and had a delicious chilli wrap and milkshake. Thank you very much!

What a wonderful surprise. A dog friendly, vegetarian friendly cafe that does superb food and great prices. Can't recommend this place highly enough. So fed up with being disappointed when going out for a walk and lunch but this place makes up for all that. Go try it for yourself, it will be worth it.

Had 3 friends over from the mainland, got the open top bus and ended up here by chance. We couldn't believe the amount of choice on the menu, from liver and onion to sea food platter and everything in-between. The food was delicious, fresh, home cooked and good size portions. The prices were half of what we've paid else where for half as good. Will definitely be returning.

We stopped at Muzza's for ice cream, having been the year before. There's a wide range of tempting flavours. I had strawberry, and lemon and elderflower. They were both delicious. We will definitely be back.

My friend and I found this wonderful place this week. Really lovely Homemade food and wonderful creations made with love and care. Lots of yummy choices and great friendly staff. Amazing value. One of the most enjoyable highlights of our Holiday

Found the prices reasonable and staff friendly. I had tuna baguette which was nice. Exactly what it says on the tin. Daughter had toasted cheese sandwich which she devoured so assuming she liked it! Warm day so we had cold drinks. Diet Coke and water. Partner very impressed with how clean the kitchen area looked and how the owner cleaned down after very order.

Visited here because we needed a quick bite to eat and a drink. Two if us ordered bacon rolls which were the best I've had in a longtime. Bacon good quality and the roll lightly toasted. Would have liked to go back but only in Sandown for one night. There homemade ice cream sounds great and will try it nextime we visit.

Disappointing that eggs are not free range! Food was ok but hash browns were chewy. Wouldn’t come again.

The man in charge is naturally warm and friendly. He gave very good service and his ice cream is really nice. A must try to anyone visiting the Island. He has a large selection of food and drinks too!

We enjoyed some lovely breakfasts here whilst on the island. Fabulous choice of food which was served really quickly and great portion size. Great price range Slight negative is that the toilets need a bit of a spruce up

Having had to work in Sandown for 4 days we went to Muzza's every day for our lunch.We were always greeted politely by the staff.Every day we had something different & each time the food came out piping hot.We had the beef stew with dumpling ,mashed potatoes & 4 fresh veg which was brought with a seperate jug of gravy which I think is a nice touch as my wife doesn't like too much gravy.The meal was plentiful & delicious.On another day we had chicken strogonoff & chilli which again were both very tasty.The sandwiches were also filled very well & the apple,orange & cranberry crumble & custard was one of the best I have eaten & I am very critical with food!!!.We will look forward to going back for another 4 days in Nov.

Have been for lunch a few times here, on every visit have had tasty food sometimes a baguette, or a meal can reccommend the Lasagne good service nice people gone on treat yorself

Halloween was only a week away so the skull-tinsel, witch, skeleton, inflatable pumpkin and pumpkin fairy lights showed these were people prepared to make some effort to have a bit of fun, and that's a great start. Service was at the counter, welcoming and friendly. We had fish and chips and scampi, which was average. A bubblegum milkshake was very good so I went for a lemon and elderflower sundae. That woke up my taste-buds alright. Lemon sponge, sherbety lemon & elderflower sorbet, topped with lemon meringue ice cream, flakes, cream, meringue pieces and a wafer.

My wife and I visited this café and were delighted with the service. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. My wife had butternut squash and spinach lasagne. She said it was delicious. I had the quiche, which was the best I have ever had. We would highly recommend a visit to Muzzas. You will not be disappointed.

We tried this ice cream this week and it was special and very tasty. I tried the peanut butter and it was lovely. Likewise, my wife’s chocolate. Next day we wanted more but were too full from a great hotel breakfast.

Food enjoyable and dog welcomed. Tried others in the area and this was the better option. Staff friendly and place looked clean. Would recommend for a nice snack.

Found the food boring and not very nice, think the staff are not happy to be working there, there are much better cafes than this in sandown

Muzza is the best cafe in sandown it is my local the food is great especially Phils chilli jacket ,they are always very welcoming and the prices are very reasonable.The home made ice cream is really good I throughly recommend this cafe.

had the cottage pie which was very tasty and well seasoned, came with either beans or veg and a little gravy boat. Staff very friendly and a warm atmosphere, definitely recommend for spot of lunch and great prices too.

We are regulars at Muzzas for morning coffee. It has such a friendly atmosphere and excellent coffee. Also delicious home made ice cream on hot summer days. A very good spot for people watching too.

Went here today for a milkshake. Was £3 for a banana one, it was very plain and all you could taste was the lumpy ice cream that filled the glass, no taste of banana at all. Didn’t even drink any of it.

Had a lovely Leek and Califlower bake, really lovely, with salad, the guy cooking ev en gave me the recipe. but hes is too good to to compete against. Really nice staff, always cheerful.

Food was fine but dirty tables and food on the floor let this place down. Cutlery was not very clean either. We stayed in Sandown for a week and would have purchased ice creams from this place if the place had been cleaner whilst eating tea.

The food was lovely and the waitress was friendly but I found the service time to be extended and the man at the counter seemed tired and miserable which damaged the atmosphere. PS the chicken nuggets were lovely and so was the creamy mushroom sauce

Food as very nice amazing value for money staff very friendly loverly community feel. Local produce used much nicer than other options in the area.

We revisited this little cafe last week because we had loved it the first time we went. This time we were certainly not disappointed. The staff were friendly and the food was once again delicious.....and home made! We shall certainly be coming again!

Went in with a smile looking for a decent coffee and got dismissive and rude service and and literally the worst coffee I’ve ever had for more than £4. Straight in the bin.

We are on holiday. We (my mother and 9 year old daughter) were taking our time choosing from the extensive choice of ice cream flavours. The man serving us (owner?) started off semi- joking, albeit very sarcastic. After we had paid, my mother began asking about another ice cream (for my other child, in the car with my husband), the man snapped at my mother in an incredibly hostile manner “Can you just hurry up because I have customers waiting over there”. We were horrified, and left. My daughter was upset so I brushed it off lightly but I was very angry. I will never ever spend any money in that rude little man’s cafe again and if my review prevents other elderly people or children from going there and being treated like that then I’ll be satisfied.

Called in to check this place out as it had been recommended. Didn’t have time to stop for a meal but will do in the future. Had an ice cream though and they are to die for. Just yummy. I asked if the dog would be welcome and they said yes as long as it wasn’t too busy. That’s understandable.

Strange little place. Not a fan of the decor or the signage, but that's personal taste. Food-wise, tasty snacks for all the family and accommodating. Would return again.

We are Sandown residents and we have been welcomed with our dog everywhere on the island with open arms since we arrived. We are also experienced dog owners of over 30 years. On Thursday 1st March we were walking our dog in the afternoon, it was a bitterly cold day with snow falling. Due to the weather virtually every cafe in Sandown was closed except this one so we thought we would give it a try for a hot drink as we had never been in before. My wife went in first to ask if our dog could come in and a woman behind the counter said yes, then a male with an attitude problem "chimed" in saying the dog can come in as long as it hasn't been on the beach and if it is big you put it where it won't bother anyone. "Been on the beach" if he hadn't noticed Sandown is a seaside resort and if our dog has been on the beach we always wipe him down, especially his paws before going in anywhere. "Big and not bothering anyone", well now I wonder how many times I have been in cafes, pubs and restaurants with fat smelly humans and out of control children with parents who don't know the meaning of the word discipline or consideration for others? If you want a friendly welcome try somewhere else as you're likely to get one here.

This cafe serves excellent home cooked food at a sensible price. I use this cafe when I am in Sandown, and would recommend it as a great place to eat.

We were a group of seven people with two teenagers visiting Sandown. We arrived at Sandown after 2 pm and were all starving. We were really glad that we chose Muzzas to have the lunch. The lady who took the order was really pleasant and efficient. She promised to get the food out to us as soon as possible and as promised we didn't have to wait long to get the food to our table. All of us were really happy with our order. The food tasted great and the price was really good. Highly recommend this café if you visit Sandown

Delicious ice cream (you HAVE to try the cherry bakewell ice cream), and lovely, friendly staff. Ice cream's a little pricey, but you're on holiday- treat yourself!

Visited here yesterday on a day trip to Sandown and was really impressed. The home made steak and ale pie was lush, lovely puffy pastry and plenty of nicely cooked soft beef. The other half had cold cut gammon, eggs and chips. It was really nice thick gammon and plenty of it and the eggs were beautifully cooked, perfect for dipping. They were very attentive and checked we were happy with our food. All for a reasonable price. Didn't try the ice cream out as no room left after a big pie!!!

Discovered this gem of a cafe during our weekend away. Everywhere else seemed to stop serving at 2. Had an excellent pannini and other half had a freshly filled baguette. Both came with a lovely side salad and salad dressing. All fresh and tasty with lovely presentation could even get a glass of wine to wash it down. Excellent choice on menu as well as ice cream to go!

4 baguettes were prepared very quickly for us, as were the hot drinks, and it was good value for money.

The food was a mixture of cafe fayre and specials.

During my holiday in March 2017, I stopped here twice for food as I had such a good experience the first time that I chose to revisit. The quality of the good was very high, full of flavour and very fresh. I can recommend both their savoury and sweet dishes. They have good portion sizes and offer value for money. The environment inside is pleasant and the staff as well as being friendly, look smart and professional with proper aprons and chef's clothing. I had bread and butter pudding with vanilla ice cream the first time and a cheese jacket potato with salad and coleslaw the second and both were delicious. It's nice to eat in an establishment that provides great service and food. If you're visiting Sandown, be sure to check this place out.

Went in for a light lunch and we both had paninis they were ok and both came with salad but it was all pretty plain. Didn't have time to try deserts though.

Called in here for lunch, had a really nice jacket potatoes, been oven cooked not ping chefed! Then we decided to try the ice creams, hand made in the premises, they were amazing, thick, creamy with a great range of flavours. We bad a honeycomb and a creme egg, both highly recommended!

Called by and had a great freshly cooked Breakfast. I chose the double size, which was two Bacon, two Sausage and two Eggs, with tomatoes and beans, and with Toast and a Hot drink, all at a very reasonable price.

Went in for lunch one cold Saturday. There was no heating so our coats & gloves stayed on for the whole time, so not quite the relaxing lunch I was hoping for.

I come here all the time for ice cream when I'm in Sandown. They have a lot of different flavours to choose from and it's all made in the shop. Great value breakfast too and very tasty.

What a super little place! So clean and inviting! We had had a long walk that day and were warmly welcomed. the menu looked most inviting and everything is made on the premises. We loved the tomato and the mushroom soup, served with warm crusty bread. The proprietor makes his own brand of ice cream and offered us a very delicious selection of tasters to sample. We will definitely return again for a complete meal because we are confident it will be delicious!

Called in for breakfast after being to Lloyds Bank on The High Street, the only bank left in Sandown. We were greeted warmly by the owner and staff and made to feel right at home.

Lovely free ice cream with exhaustive list of flavours. Nice find not far from the beach. The ice cream is made in gelato style and hence all seems fresh and appealing.

Had a wonderful breakfast sausages was very good bacon superb came out hot the lady who took my order very polite well worth a visit

My friend and I were visiting the area and popped into Muzza's for a light afternoon snack having read the positive reviews online. We ordered their homemade watercress and potato soup as well as their cream of mushroom soup. Both came in generous portions and chunks of cut up baguette, but the watercress and potato soup was too salty. My friend approached the lady behind the counter about this, expecting a quick rectification. The lady ended up mockingly parroting her comment to another lady behind the counter, and they called in a man from next door who we think is the owner. He came round and my friend told him that her soup was too salty. He simply stood there and then said - ok, don't drink it then, you don't have to drink it. His tone was hostile. The few other customers in the shop were looking at us. My friend had to explain that she'd tried my soup and it was much less salty than hers, and asked if she could exchange the soup for the same as mine. He said fine, then disappeared behind the counter after this, no apologies, nothing. We did get another mushroom soup as a replacement but the whole experience left a bitter taste. Was he having a bad day? Was it because we were asian and female? Not sure, but this is unacceptable treatment for paying and perfectly polite customers.

Visited for the first time today whilst on holiday and will definitely be going back tomorrow. Staff friendly, great ice cream with milk from cows down the road and lovely flavours! Can't wait to try more!

We stayed in Sandown for a few days and discovered this place a couple of days in. After that we didn't go anywhere else for lunch and even had them make up more baguettes for our tea one day. The food is wonderful and great value. Staff are friendly. Definitely try the icecream!

Walking along Sandown High Street in the sunshine, and wanted an Ice Cream. So pleased we stopped here, and we kept returning. It is made on the premises, and my favourites were the Lemon Meringue, and Blueberry Cheesecake.

This place is great value, great milky coffee and a wide ranging menu, the desserts are also good value and the gelatia looks amazing, I haven't tried yet, but I'm going to treat myself soon. Great staff and service.
