Munchies in Salford

Pensé en probar este chippy ya que recientemente me he mudado a la zona. Pedí patatas fritas y curry (£ 4 ). No disfruté de la comida, sabía muy soso incluso mis papas fritas estaban inundadas de salsa, más como un plato de sopa. Casi pido pescado, y me alegro de no desperdiciar el dinero. Preferiría viajar a otra tienda de chips desafortunadamente

We go to Lowries as a family every Saturday morning and have done for several years. The food has always been perfect and in all the time we have been there for breakfast we have never had a complaint. The staff are excellent, always very attentive, courtious and helpfull. We are a party of between six and ten people, usually with a couple of babies and or older children but we always feel they do their best to accommodate us with the seating arrangements. DO NOT DRINK in the Black lion in Salford if you don't want to get ripped off,I went for a pint on 29/11/2024 at approximately 4:30pm and was over charged £18.50 for a pint of cider, when I went to ask for a refund today the manager refused on the grounds there was no receipt, however I did show the transaction to the supervisor on shift on my my banking app who had to text her manager, apparently you can use your bank statement on the online banking app as proof of transaction, the supervisor was very apologetic and I was offered a free drink however this does not resolve the issue, how many more people have been over charged for a drink?

Great friendly crowd and welcoming staff. Thursday Club! Definitely a good regular for irregulars. Visited with local friends. DJ was on (was decent). A new member of bar staff was lovely. Liam, the manager, was grumpy as ever. Empty glasses left on empty tables for quite a long time, although it wasn't particularly busy when we visited. Great atmosphere and customers. Overall a lovely place.
