Got the mix doner wrap and it is incredible, great service and was very quick without the fast food taste. Great service too 🤝

i was happy it was early as last time we ordered it was half an hour late and cold

I ordered the burger with bacon and no bacon was in it just little pieces as substitute and I put no salad but ended up with a great big tomato in it so had to chuck it away

I moved out of Canterbury almost 15 years ago and still dream about the chicken donair.

Food was lovely probably the best I’ve ever had after using lots different takeaways. The kebab meat was gorgeous cooked properly. Only thing I wish they had put the chips in a separate cartoon from the kebab meat as had chilli all over them. But great job I be ordering again

I think this is the best kebab shop in Canterbury. Well. I used to think it was the best but every single time I order food from this place, they always forget something. It's beyond a joke now. This is the reason for leaving a review. I will not be ordering from you guys anymore.

I tried their chicken nuggets and fries chicken. I really liked their food and pleased with their service. And the important thing is meat is halal. (2022).Tried chicken wings two weeks ago but was not good. Too salty and not cooked properly.(July 2024)

Chicken was not cooked properly. The wings were still red on the inside partly and also tasted a bit funny.

it was late and it was cold. I had to reheat it. Once I'd heated it, it was nice. but I didn't expect to have to heat up ordered food. plus the drivers car didn't sound road worthy, and the driver thought it sounds good. Please try harder next time.

Small error on delivery but they worked hard to sort it out, long time enjoyer of Munchies (going back some 20 years or so, ha)

This is the first time I've tried this establishment. Walked past it many times to and from work. I must say the food was excellent. The chicken pieces were well cooked, as were the fries. They kept their temperature very well, unlike other similar establishments I could mention. It's definitely worth a try. I am more likely to revisit this place.

Foods absolutely disgusting what do you call a burger left in a box that has a puddle of sauce in it let alone the burger swimming in it manky no more words just a wastee of appetite and cash

My partner and I have just moved to the area from London and decided to try our first kebab takeaway. I’m not one to judge based on reviews but there is a reason why there are numerous unsatisfactory ones for this restaurant. My chicken fillet burger contained brown lifeless slimy lettuce which was totally off putting and when biting into the fillet meat there was shiny unappealing edges. I unfortunately had to put it in the bin as I am pregnant and did not want to risk eating.

This meal was very disappointing as we ordered a mixed kebab meal (comes with meat, pitta, salad, 2x sauce) and another extra sauce, however, didn’t receive the salad, and two sauces. Making it a meal of just meat and pitta.

order was wrong as usual , no matter where you order, order is never correct or wrong it's sent

HORRENDOUS FOOD!!! The burger I got was so dry, that it felt like it was out under the heat lamp for days! Same goes for the chicken wings that I ordered, it was so dry...it was like jerkey. They charged so much for such low food service! NOT WORTH IT!!

I pay £9.00 for Chicken and chips with drink very bad chips 🍟 look like black ⚫️

We ordered a delivery and chose a kebab as one of the slightly healthier take outs. The chicken shish was thoroughly enjoyed by my doggy. I ate the pitta and salad. The chicken wasn't for me. It was very unpleasant. Hard bits. Grey bits. Avoid, even if you think you are desperate at the end of a night out.

Chicken Shish was chewy and sinewy. The kofta was good but the chicken dish really let the side down and ruined dinner.

Items where missing, chips where reheats/over cooked..

Ordered a take away meal of 2 large kebab meal's, 2 cheese & bacon burgers and a cheese burger. Service was great, food was great as well. Used to come here years ago when we lived down here and it still has that familiar taste. Went back for nostalgia, glad I did.

Absolutely do not order. It can't be that bad of a meal. It has everything you are looking for. I feel sick . and they also block them on social media. character is zero.

I was quite disappointed with my order to be honest. I asked for just lettuce on my chicken and instead they didn't give me any at all and the chips wasn't very nice, biting into crisp to hardly any potato just oil.

Order fried chicken but seems like they reheat the old chicken for me, the chickens I got was dark dark brown, and the texture is so hard from overcook. How can they think that they will get away with it?

Worst experience ever and worst burger. Ask the guy at the counter what’s their best selling he told that chicken fillet burger. Ordered two of those burger and fillet was so dry just like rubber and was so difficult to eat. Also ordered fried chicken which was tasteless and totally red inside. Never coming again…….

I ordered at 23.00 on the 31st Jan 2023 said it would me here 00.00 latest 00.20 I called them up and they said they will be ten mins no apology I then called at 00.30 they said five mins the food has just arrived at 00.51 31 mins late never order from this place the service terrible its like they don't care the food is cold what a disgrace you are a poor excuse for a take away and should be shut down and a better one in your place

Waited ages for a really average pizza. While I was there I watched one of the staff put salad on a kebab, realise that it should have been onions and scrape the salad off back into the salad bowl. Enjoy your veggie salad and anything else that gets cross contaminated

Absolutely poor service when walking into the shop, one of the guys that work there was so rude to me for no reason... Absolutely disrespectful and so ignorant towards other members of public as well... I paid £7 for a kebab, I gave him £10 in cash.. the man only gave me £2 back because of the way I looked?! Like thats just ridiculous.. bad rates all the way to this place!!!

Fast delivery....probably because the Chicken had been cooking for about 2-3 days., dry , crusty....even my dog 🐕 was like....f#####@@@ck!!!! That and wouldn't eat it. To avoid disappointment or worse....food poisoning do yourself a favour and order elsewhere ✌

Horrible chicken that had gone off! Rude staff who look like they've been forced to work there. They were asking where I was from which is none of their business. They didn't have wet wipes which is important to have in any takeaway shops. Never again!

Ordered 2 meals one was wrong as I ordered a mix kebab meal which is meant to come with chips and a drink, didn’t come with chips and when I said what drink I wanted I got charged for it, next meal was a 2 piece chicken meal, it was more bone then anything and what was of the chicken it was so dry wasn’t fresh at all, the chips was cold and soggy, for what we got and what we paid was expensive will not be ordering from there again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Was in Canterbury on a whim and just stumbled on munchies honestly didn’t expect much but s bog standard chicken shop but was pleasantly suprised the food hit the spot with the chicken burger being just right. The doners we got were also good with a generous portion given. Would definitely recommend to anyones who need a nice munch

Munchies is good if you're on a budget or slightly tipsy after a night out. You will get a lot for what you pay. Staff is friendly and lovely. It's very good that it's open until late.

Been here quite a bit after late nights from the pub. It’s a small shop and can be warm most of the time but don’t be fooled. Great, best kebabs in Canterbury. We stopped here on our Eurotrip because I talked about how good it was ten years ago and guess what, it’s still good. We’d stop here again if we come back to town.

Paramos aquí en nuestro Eurotrip porque hablé de lo bueno que era hace diez años y adivina qué, sigue siendo bueno. Nos detendremos aquí nuevamente si volvemos a la ciudad.

For late night food this is the best place in Canterbury. The guys here work so hard and are by far the nicest with the best service. They do lots of vegetarian friendly stuff, and their jacket potatoes are wonderful! Also 2 for 1 pizzas on mondays.

Ordené una comida para llevar desde aquí, el conductor ni siquiera salió de su auto, nos gritó desde el auto. Luego nos hizo esperar más de diez minutos después de que pagáramos para darnos la comida, ya que estaba demasiado ocupado gritándonos sobre el uso de la máquina de tarjetas, ya que cuesta mucho dinero, aunque antes de haberlo pedido, dejamos claro que estábamos pagando tarjeta. Luego nos gritó en su automóvil y nos rodeó violentamente dando vueltas a nuestro alrededor y se desvió. Después de ese tiempo confuso, volvimos a comer, la comida se estaba congelando y parecía y sabía a muerte en la carretera, la comida se fue a la basura después de 3 a 4 bocados. Luego llamamos y nos quejamos al día siguiente y el gerente se negó a darnos un reembolso y nos colgó el teléfono. ¡Ahórrate un poco de dinero y ve a un lugar decente!

WORST *PIZZA* EVER The Service was okay even if it was 1 o’clock in the night. Ordered 2 XL pizzas. got a small pizza margherita as a gift. After starting to eat I recognised the gift was an early apology for the ordered pizzas. I have never eaten a pizza that bad. It was extremely fat, the ham on it tasted like it was rotten... the pizza was extremely sweet like a f***in cake. I have not eat even half of it, even i was really hungry... NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. I THOUGHT I HAD TO THROW UP THE WHOLE NIGHT. ah yeah, and the driver was absolutely dumb, he could not even calculate.
