We are so lucky to have this restaurant in our village. We have enjoyed meals in the restaurant and had take aways many times since it opened last year. The restaurant looks great and the outside area with fairy lights and heated booths is amazing. There is a great bar which is run by a lovely couple. Mr Aziz Rahman and his family run the restaurant which is just brilliant. We had another great meal here this evening, the food and the welcome were great as usual. I just love spending time here, can’t wait to go back.

Aziz has always had a good reputation when in Oxford and never failed to delight. He has continued this standard in moving to Garsington with excellent food and service. A bit quirky when the food bill and drinks bill have to be settled separately, but who cares when you have enjoyed a good meal

The food at this place is great! By far and away the best curry in the area.We have just enjoyed another takeaway, so forget the Cowley road and get yourself to the Mughlai manor!

This was probably our fourth visit. Our 2 initial visits were favourable. On this occasion no one was there to escort us to our pre-booked table and I had to ask one of the bar staff where we should sit. There was a very raucous party who dominated the restaurant and we did consider taking our food away to eat at home. However we persevered because we had invited special friends to join us. We were not offered the little amuse bouche starters that we have been offered before. The food was plentiful but appeared as dollops of home cooked stew. The spices tasted raw and I couldn’t identify a single vegetable in the mush of niramish. The food had no delightful warmth or smell to tease the palate. Waiting staff are definitely lacking in charisma and are actively rude in the way they lean across the client to pick up the plates. The restaurant was clearly suffering from staff shortage and possibly a difficult group of clients this night but we were embarrassed that we had invited our guests to a superior experience which was utterly disappointing.

Went for a Xmas curry with friends and it was a lovely evening, warming by the fire after cycling to the pub. Food was very flavoursome and nice, and service was really friendly. Would definitely recommend!

I ordered food for collection, and although it was ready in 25 minutes, it was mid at best. The pakoras (4) were soggy and unimpressive by the time they got home. The chicken tikka biryani was also a little disappointing. The rice had almost no flavour. The chicken was tasty but there wasn’t much of it. The vegetable curry was okay, but still uninspired. Overall the biryani was lacking in flavour and underwhelming. I’m a little disappointed, I’ll probably go elsewhere for an Indian takeaway next time.
