Muffin Break in Hambleton

After shopping in Primark needed respite and found it in Muffin Break. We had flat whites and cheese scones. The flat whites were great the scones were ok and all great value. Next time we’re in the Hill Street Centre we’ll definitely be calling in again.

Friendly service always. Coffee always good and hot with the bonus of a free coffee on every 6th purchased with the loyalty card scheme.

As all they do is go on their phones chat loudly as a result service poor and slow Coffee is good but slow service puts you off Not worth the effort go elsewhere

Food was nice and tea was nice, cutlery wasn’t clean so put me off due to Covid. Staff very friendly.

Decent cafe centrally situated in Middlesbrough's Hill Street Centre. Smashing range of drinks and lite bit snacks. Not particularly inexpensive but reasonable quality and quantity. Excellent and pleasant service.

Spent a day shopping with my daughter . I purchased a cheese and tomato toastie a pot of tea and and a crunchie muffin for both of us . Cup and spoon was both dirty . Toasty was OK Both muffins that dry they were inedible. I don't recommend anyone visiting here

Considering this is a cafe in the middle of a shop walkway it has superb lite bites, coffee and cakes. Toasties are exceptional as are the muffins. A very polite lady called Pippa served us. Thank you we'll call again soon.

Spend £15 for a piece of cake, small salmon wrap and coffee. Food quality was poor. Cheese cake had no base and tasted slightly off. Ideal location but poor food.

Had eats today here,little lad helping as well about 10 years old? Part of staff family?? Cup was filthy so changed that.drinks ok and foot so-so but most of all prices have gone up a bit.bacon bun 4.20 which is very expensive try cafe 23 for 2.99 and u get a fresh bun and 3-4 big slices of bacon.average at best.like i say in title i woulnt rush back but kids tired and wanted to sit down for food so gave in.

Today I was ordered by a unshaven guy to put the sweetner back into the shelf. He wasn't sure if we were customers.Normally I've got my own pocket dispenser.are they so desperate? I better wait till I can have my milky coffee in M&S. Still Happy new year & all the best

We stopped for a quick lunch. The Paninis were hot and tasty and contained plenty of filling. The coffee was fine. A friendly young girl served us. She was efficient and courteous.

4 of us came for coffee, toasties and sausage rolls! Everything was lovely! My sister loved the sausage rolls Good service too thank you.

Could do better was quiet here today, ok but to be served and whilst serving answering her mobile,now I’m no picky person but its a bit rude manners cost nothing,young girl blonde ponytail ,prices a bit steep,good choice but you wonder how fresh is food as look like been on display for days .about 4 staff working and one doing laps chatting to the sky customer leech’s.wont rush back only if elsewhere full.

Appalling service. Members of staff need to learn how to smile, manager was rude to customers and other staff. Won't be visiting again.

Stopped here for coffee and cake. The coffee was ok (although there are better coffee stops close by). The muffins were rubbish. The chocolate muffins were tasteless as were the gingerbread ones. The floor, adjacent to several tables, was covered in crumbs and spilt food. A very poor experience - will not be returning anytime soon.

Después pasando en varias ocasiones pensé que le daría una oportunidad. magdalena vacaciones Servicio rápido ordenados una gran capuccino y una sal carne rarebit sandwichera. El café estaba bueno pero la sandwichera era sin duda un "echo". El queso, y otros rellenos hechos geurkins el pan y la sal ir empapados de carne no era suficiente para hincarle la licitación resultante tirando de él del pan como intentó hincarle el diente. No comer de la segunda mitad del sándwich.

Went here for a shopping break for some well earned food and drink and wasn't disappointed,all tasty and lovely service .clean cafe and plenty of seats.good choice of menu maybe a bit pricey than some but worth it.

Poor customer service. Not very helpful when trying to make food choices. Daughters Americano had granule dregs when she had finished. My Mocha had dried choc powder round the rim. Tasted ok though which was a bonus. Wouldn't come again.

Not very impressed with customer service stood in the que for a while behind one customer and was very annoyed when the staff member overlooked me and started serving the customer behind me when I said what about serving me first she said oh sorry and still carried on serving the customer behind me, won't be visiting again

Had a coffee and snack here with my family just after Christmas, it was my first time visiting and I was very happy with the latte. Quite a lot of seats to choose from, the coffee was nice and hot .. how I like it .. the cakes we ordered were nice too. It's central inside the shopping mall and a perfect place to grab a drink and have a few minutes in the middle of a shopping day! I would definitely recommend it!

Been here a few times now and good food and drinks.prices ok service sometimes a bit slow at tills but plenty of seating.good choice and nice to chill and people watch.staff are pleasant.

Dropped in for a decent cup of tea as M&S; was really busy. Staff were polite and the tea was okay. Did allow us to do a bit of people watching.

The service was okay although tables did need a bit of a tidy up. Tea and coffee was okay but early doors so will try again. Decent value though.
