You may get quality food for top dollar here, but that’s the only thing you’re going to get. This store will definitely not win for friendliness and customer service. Staff esp at the check out are generally sour faced and glum. Attn: management - pls invest in more staff training. Emphasise in treating ALL customers equal, esp race and colour.

Poor choice of food on offer at cafe and cafe staff uninterested/on auto pilot. Could get better service and atmosphere as well as large selection of produce across the road at Costa.

Often stop for a coffee and snack whilst doing the shopping. Staff are attentive and efficient - very caring. What they sell is not a broad range and doesnt reflect the choice available in the shop. Will continue to go, but perhaps content myself with a hot drink and leave the snack until later in the day.

average M and S foodhall, the ones in devizes and Bath are better. This one seems geared to the tastes of Trowbridge and dosent always have full range of products, especially when theres a deal on.car parking is confusing staff told me you didnt need a ticket, but outside machines say you do... its free for 3 hours but you still have to input car reg and get ticket.Mand S used to be in the shires until they closed it,I wrote a letter to chief exec and told him it was a bad decision obviously I have been proved right as they have now opened this one! but a more central location would be better to save a walk and the confusing car park

A first visit and a very pleasant experience. We had been to the Cinema opposite for a show. Car Parking right outside - Free for 3 hrs. After the show, we went a few yards across the car park, into the M&S Foodhall - so clean, with a good choice of everything we were looking for, including 'still fresh' items brought to the front to catch your eye. We then strayed over to the little eatery tucked away in one corner of the store. Just basic, but with lovely friendly service. The soup (chicken & mushroom) was lovely, came with 2 small fresh bread rolls (one of each) and soft butter, ready to spread. Could not fault any of it.

Yes it's more expensive than other Supermarkets, but for top quality food, it's still good value for money. Ready meals, meat and cakes are all excellent. There's an in-house Bakery for fresh bread & cakes. Another bonus is you can collect any clothes, etc. ordered on-line via Click & Collect plus returns. Parking is free for 3 hours. So this large food hall is a great new Trowbridge shopping asset. There is also a nice little in-house Cafe

Before shopping we have a coffee and a sausage bap, very tasty, and a relaxed environment! Only a small number of tables, but has a very quick turn around of customers.

I tried the cafe in the store which was small but placed by the entrance to the store with large windows so lots to see. Not as an extensive menu as some larger food halls but adequate very clean. There is a large car park with three hours car parking free. Close to the Cinema and restaurants. A nice quiet place for a coffee and treat away from the bustle of the town but within walking distance of it.

Went in with a friend today around 25-30 minutes before the shop was due to close. Was met with death stares and dead pan faces, the customer service from the lady with short orange/red hair with glasses was awful! Just asked us “what did we want” and then continued to sweep and shut down the shop around us asking us to move out of the way a few times whilst she swept. However the other lady who made the shakes was nice and the shakes themselves were fantastic :)

I've got to be honest, the hot chocolate looked very very light in colour and tasted very very weak..... Sat in here almost on our own for 30 minutes before working out that we actually had to order at the table rather than having a waitress or waiter...... Let's be honest, they only have one thing to do. Serve coffee, ice cream and puddings. You would have thought they would have a more snappy service and a happy attitude at the till....... Answer bringing my hot chocolate to the table. It would slam down with such force that after the chocolate covered the table. See pictures...... I really couldn't recommend this place at all.

I think when you opt to eat breakfast in a supermarket cafe there aren’t expectations of gourmet food. However I think there are standards you should be able to expect and Morrisons spectacularly fell short of even the lowest expectations! My breakfast was just over £11 as I added a couple of extras. Mushrooms were tinned and cold. Tomatoes were chopped tinned and cold. Bacon was lightly warmed in the microwave and came complete with flabby undercooked rind and was covered in white gunk. Sausage was deep fried, and of the quality that even the dog would turn its nose up at. Hash browns were overdone but passable. Toast came cold and chewy with a nice slab of hard butter on top! All this came with a cappuccino that tasted like the machine needed a good clean and service lacking anything close to a smile! I won’t be returning to experience their vile offerings again!
