Very poor. I went for a coffee. My table was cluttered with uncollected crockery and a member of staff who was clearing tables missed mine and went onto spend several minutes chitchatting with customers while tables went uncleared. Twice staff tried to serve me with my coffee and I said I wished the table to be cleared of previous customers' dirty cups, etc before they put my coffee down. A nice member of staff called Kinga brought my coffee and eventually cleared my table before she could put the coffee on my table . If the person who was supposed to be clearing and cleaning the tables was in fact the Manager he set a very poor example to staff by spending 10 minutes gossiping with people when there were jobs to be done. I spent several years working in the hospitality trade and would have expected MY boss to have given me a good talking to if I'd behaved like that.

3 out of 4 tills not working! Big queues and overall unacceptable. Management seem powerless to resolve these issues, choosing to blame head office and central policy team!

Half sized cups for coffee but £3.60 a cup. One pastry bone dry and very expensive, why when M&S food so good . Better value in Greggs 🤦♂️

There was a tension in the air. It soon became apparent that a lot of customers were experiencing long delays on their orders. Some people explained they had been waiting for 50 minutes and still hadn't received their order. We decided to join the long queue with a number of others all asking for a refund. Not a great experience. There were lots of tables that had not been cleared. There seemed to be not enough staff. Also a horrible experience having to use the screens rather than being able to go to the counter and speak to a person. We won't be rushing back - suggest you avoid.

Plenty of helpful staff, but the food was really poor. I had fish and chips, the fish was okay, the chips were a bit flabby and the peas were over microwaved bullets. Everything was a little cool. My sons macaroni cheese was quite dry, but he enjoyed the cheesy flavour. We had to remind them about our drinks well after our food arrived. Disappointing really

M&S has suffered from one awful manager to another completely Lazy & devoid is how I'd describe them. And now They have introduced the vision boards with menus LIKE McDonalds. They are discriminating against human contact and they are ageist. Senior people do not want to choose from a plastic vision board we prefer to SEE our food in front of us so we can choose, the cakes are in front of you but not the sandwiches or rolls or salads. Why Not all we want is an example of what our food will look like. But I think is because it doesn't involve someone taking the order(jobs) but 3 managers can sit talking? Too many Chiefs not enough Indians. And they don't take cash. So we won't be eating in a M&S Therefore I wont be shopping there either. If I'm paying for something I want customer service not a plastic board.

First & only visit. Screen ordering only with card & table tracker system. Coffees & croissants took a silly age to arrive for such a simple order. Both coffees including espresso were weak & lukewarm - awful quality. Cold croissants (straight out of the packet). There's no way to see the food/drinks before ordering except on the robotic screen pictures. No spoons, no saucers, no serviettes. Service was slow and lackadaisical. Clinical, impersonal experience. Tables not being cleared and wiped. Most definitely will not return.

Awful. Tracker system doesn't work for the staff so they have to wonder around looking for the buyer. If you try to order from the table you have to enter all details, name, address, email and all card details. Can't even take photo of card. Waited 15 to 20 minutes for coffee and cake during a very slack time. Staff seem nice but the system, the number of staff required and the quality of the food are not good. Much better cafes in this shopping area.

Highly recommend..staff was kind and friendly and yes you can see they are updating with renovating there issues. Very clean in the room we had and nothing we asked was a problem for staff.

Food was great, table seated the 8 of us well, but it was noisy, will a full table of sports fans beside us. Overall, a happy birthday celebration with my family.

The place was dirty and neglected, so much so that the floor was covered in grime. The food was rubbish, and the coffee tasted like tobacco. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
