Our favourite roast in Norwich by far, consistently great food every single visit! We get the pork belly every time, the crispy leeks are insanely good and the roasties are always spot on. Our friends love the vegan Wellington option too

Food was lovely, service however was awful, she was constantly rushing us and would take food away from our table when other people where eating and when we weren’t done ,one of the people I was with finished and her food and hadn’t even swallowed it and she already came to take, also would reach across the table, to collect plates, which is really rude wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t come back

Popped in on Saturday night for cocktails. Wow this place is amazing. The service was brilliant and very talented staff. Loved the cocktails. Great atmosphere - music fab and lots of people enjoying themselves and dancing. Definitely recommend

My absolute favourite bar!!!! The cocktails are delicious and expertly made by the bar staff. Unlike the other bars near by, the cocktails are crafted beautifully and don’t just come out of a can. They’re absolutely delicious as well as their bar snacks. They have a nice selection of beers too. I went for my birthday and loved it, and I keep going back. The last time I went with my boyfriend the bar was quiet on a Sunday evening and the friendly bar tender was keen to talk to my German boyfriend. He spoke to us about his time in Germany and spoke some German with us. We always have a super lovely experience at Mr Postles! Highly recommend!

We celebrated our daughter’s 21st birthday here and really enjoyed ourselves. Piri Burger was tasty and the fries were delicious. The variety of drinks was excellent and the service was too. Great value and definitely recommend. Book your table and enjoy.

Friend and I went for the bottomless prosecco brunch. Efficient and speedy service, our waitress was straight there to refill our glasses as soon as they were half full......Excellent!! Could really have done with a little more food. Was told by waiter there would be plenty but wish we had ordered extras which were available. All in all though a lovely experience.

Meh. Went to the disco, funk, soul new years thing. Minimal disco, no funk, no soul. Mostly just heavy base with an old man pacemakers tempo. Kinda meh on the atmosphere. Felt like we were the only people dancing

Held a UEA society Christmas meal here last night and it was amazing! Haley and all the staff made it so easy to arrange and hold the event. The food and drinks were so good ! Highly recommend for drinks and events.

Came here a week ago and got a crazy case of food poisoning along with my family, vomitting all day all night, want my money back not worth it, don't ruin your health for this

Had a ladies evening out (3 women) , started at Mr Apostle, had 2 drinks each £60 spent at that point, stood near vip area but was in the way so tucked ourselves in the corner near the bar as this was an empty area, the bar had emptied and very few customers so we’re not blocking anyone at all - we were were discussing which cocktail to try next, however one of my friends drinks slower, so waited for her to finish before looking at the menu. Literally the moment she put her glass on the bar the bartender told us that the manager advised that unless we were ordering another drink we were to leave. We were just chatting between ourselves, no trouble and having a thoroughly enjoyable evening up to that point. We were quite shocked at how rude he was - funny that the young group of girls he was chatting to earlier in a very crowded area at that point were not shown the same disrespect. Totally uncalled for, of course we left never to return. Very disappointing!

Had almost 15 mins wait for our drinks and only brought over after asking our waitress. Had brie wedges and chilli beef for starters which were superb, as was the burgers. However the fries could have been hotter. There was a great deal on and therefore extremely busy. We will go again when I hope to give it 5*.

Really lovely place we came on a Thursday so it wasn’t too busy which is why i put 4 stars for the atmosphere but the food was good, cocktails were lush & i like that they play music!!

It was our first time tonight and we loved it! The bartender asked us what kind of drinks we liked and he got them spot on. Delicious! Plus they were also really friendly and thought I looked like an ex colleague which we all had fun about. The waitress was fantastic, super friendly, had fun with us and made us feel very comfortable. Will definitely be coming back to this one in Norwich. Great experience. Highly recommend the JD wings and the popcorn chicken.

Disappointing!! Had high hopes as had heard rave reviews but came away saying we would not return! We booked lunch & cocktails to celebrate a special family birthday but were extremely disappointed - service very slow (and rude), cocktails were uninspiring - they are marketed as ‘potions’ but were just average (we’ve been to other places that have dry ice or special glasses as effects but nothing like that here.). Also Sunday roast meat was quite fatty - could’t fault size of meal portion but sadly was fatty and tasteless. I had also made them aware of special birthday on booking and had asked if we could arrange a little surprise but nothing was mentioned and was totally ignored.

The drinks menu is amazing, as someone who doesn't even drink much (going to a bar, I know) I loved the variety and the craftsmanship. Tried the Popscotch and the Banoffee.

Absolutely love this place. Food is scrumptious. Only bring this up so you know they're great at dealing with an issue. My friend got given the wrong burger. By the time hers came out, I'd already eaten which was a little awkward but they didn't charge for my friends meal as a sorry. Which was very kind. It's lovely they have great options for vegans too. Would recommend the tempura enoki mushroom, especially. Personally two plates is very filling. They're generous portions. Also really lovely to have a mocktail that isn't just chucked in a regular glass with ice. Thank you for serving lovely food to Norwich.

Best Sunday Roast in Norwich with friendly and swift service

Had high hopes but the place had an over powering smell of urine and dirty glasses. Very disappointed no atmosphere didn't feel a valued customer will not be re visiting or recommending

Had such a good time! Came for the dinner & cocktails offer and it was well worth it, the food was lovely, really tasty, well presented and plenty of it. Our waitress was absolutely spot on, we honestly couldn't of asked for better. The vibe was really good and got our evening off to an amazing start. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back again.

Have been here a few times for roasts, bottomless brunches and small bites- the roast here is the best! The cocktails are also brilliant and the service has also been brilliant.

We visited today for the 50% off special and it was amazing. By far the best Cesar salad I have ever had. The small plates were a generous portion and we left feeling stuffed. Plenty of vegan friendly options and the service was quick with all the dishes coming out at the same time. Staff were also very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

As I said the food was all very tasty and nice,good portion sizes,servive was quick,very good value for money and generally a really good time had.Definitely recommend.

A little bit pricey but awesome flavours and varieties of drink with a unique atmosphere. For harry potter lovers it feels a little like being in potions class but way more fun.

Food and drinks were amazing! Service amazing, What let it down was the drunk people being aloud to be in the eating part at 7.30 that spilt water everywhere. Although the staff tried to control. This was my first time and not my last.

Excellent food and service. Good atmosphere. The wings are excellent and the other small plates are good. It is good value on the Wednesday's for half price, but the portion sizes aren't big enough to warrant paying full price. Go on a Wednesday though, highly reccomended!

I recently heard about Mr Postles 50% off all food on Wednesdays offer and it did not disappoint. The venue is normally a bar but accommodates dining well with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff were super polite, friendly and attentive and gave good recommendations. There was two of us and we ordered 5 small plates and a main plate of wings, all of which came to just £20. Not too shabby, and we were full. I will 100% be returning for food, and I would also like to try some of their creative looking cocktails next time! 🍸

Great food and cocktails always a great atmosphere

Visited on a whim, and was greeted well and told about the days offers. Ordered some virgin cocktails, and a variety of the menu. The food was perfect, full of flavour, so we will definitely go again.

This review is not about food(which we didn't have), but only the cocktails: we ordered a Mojito and a Caipirinha and I'm afraid to say both were the worst cocktails of their kind we have ever had - the Mojito tasted watery and had no taste really apart from a hint of mint and the Caipirinha was very bitter/tart and all in all also had no taste apart from tasting alcoholic, but not like Cachaça for some reason. Bar staff were very friendly and one member even kindly mixed another Caipirinha for me after the first attempt, but that very unfortunately just tasted marginally better. We felt that we had wasted £17.50 and therefore we won't be returning.

Arrived and were seated immediately. We were given a few minutes to decide on drinks and when ordered they arrived very quickly at the table. A few minutes later the server was back to take our food order. Once ordered it took about 10 to 15 minutes for the food to be served. This was done professionally and efficiently by our server who was a very charming and friendly girl. The food was hot and well presented and very tasty. I would definitely recommend a visit to Mr. Posties for a very tasty meal and very good drinks. All in all this was very good value for money in a world of ever increasing prices.

I had the Brie and chips which was delicious and I had a minty baileys drink which was amazing. I love the décor! However I would say it is on the expensive side. Although isn't everything now days?

Nice place, quite unique in its character. Good tasty food and the portions are generous. The only downside is that it's pretty quiet whenever we go in, whether it's during the day or evening.

Really fantastic afternoon. We dropped in for some cocktails while waiting for a dinner reservation elsewhere. Our server was Lewis, who was one of the friendliest, kindest members of bar staff I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. We left thinking how great our experience was, mostly thanks to Lewis, and we would definitely visit again if we were around! If you want cocktail theatre, this is the place!
