Great and swift service, food spot on and also speedy. With serendipity, we timed our arrival to perfection as the restaurant filled up rapidly afterwards, for, I suspect, a very usual Friday evening. Centrally located with good bus links a stone's throw away.

First time trying a Nandos and I could NOT fault it! Trying new things can be hard for me but this was a pleasant experience all round. I could not tell the staff enough how lovely it was.

Had bad food poisoning, contacted the restaurant and they didn’t seem to care, I’m supposed to hear from their customer service team but still nothing.

We have been to this Nandos several times since moving up from Essex and it is always good. As creatures of habit we always have the platter to share as it represents good value!

We had a visit few days back and ordered 10 wings which were tiny size and cold . There was hardly any meat on that . Garlic bread was burnt from other side and it was hard as well seemed too much toasted . Ambience was good

After shopping around in Norwich for hours we decided to stop by Nando’s for late lunch. After we were seated the food arrived in about 10mins which was super fast! And as usual Nando’s is a 10/10, will definitely be coming back again and again.All the staff there were so attentive so that was a bonus.Just keep in mind that if you want blue light card discount, then make sure to bring in the physical card itself as they do not accept digital card from the blue light app itself.

You just can't go wrong at Nando's. Earned a red chilli which is nice. Just wish the two women in the window at our side had SHUT UP.

First and LAST time at Nandos. I just don't get the hype! Food was all cold, was only checked back on after we had finished. Staff disinterested, when asked if everything was ok and I said no not really it was cold.. my comment was ignored like I had not even spoken! Why ask! The £27 boneless sharing platter was 2 tiny breasts and 4 tiny thighs , the skin was rubbery and fatty, i expected a nice crisp finish to the skin. The "herb" marinade had almost no flavour. The only nice thing was the mac and cheese apart from the fact it was stone cold !!! This was our anniversary and sadly spoiled our day. Would have got better and hotter food in mcdonalds!! Oh and also at 11.45 am the restaurant was grubby with a broken sink, cutlery not very clean, the whole place looks like it needs a deep clean!

I love the chicken and the various hot chilli 🌶 😋. The rooms are well ventilated and spacious. The chairs are very comfortable.

Food was horrible this was my first time coming to Nando’s my bf wanted to go as it was his birthday so I agreed to try it I ordered the Pino pita I checked what was in it before ordering to make sure I liked what was in it I got a medium spice level on it as well There was literally 0 spice there was egg in the food even tho it wasn’t stated in the menu on what was in the food I hate egg a lot and it was horrible the chicken in the food all I could stasis was the grill I couldn’t taste any chicken as the the taste of the grill was way too overpowering the service was slow only thing I liked was my drink which was a normal Coke Zero I will never come back this was their time to impress me as it was my first ever time coming but failed horribly My food had the medium spice flag on it but tasted no spice at all I don’t recommend coming to this Nando’s !

Have been to Nando's many times, but this was by far the most disappointing. I ordered the plant based wrap and most of the lettuce in it was going off and inedible. My friend's chicken burger only had chicken in half the burger... I mentioned the lettuce to the waiter and he said sorry but that was about it. Not great. Edit: Re. Nando's reply, did you read the review? It was nothing to do with speed (that was fine) - it was the risk of food poisoning and only a half-filled burger...

Only can say great for the price

Been a while since I've had a cheeky Nandos. Shame you can't book a table. Food was delicious came fairly quickly. Chicken was nice and succulent. Fries nice and crispy. No butter as they'd run out for the corn on the cob.

I’ve been to nandos many times before but always went to the riverside one in Norwich but since being to this one I actually prefer it. The atmosphere and new modern interior is amazing! Nando’s food is always incredible, you can connect to their wifi to order through the barcode and the food always comes so quickly. I always order the butterfly chicken in hot, with a side of chips, garlic bread and halloumi. I like to make my own burger using the garlic bread, half the chicken and halloumi. Great hack and taste so good! This time I also tried a side of the new mac n cheese and loaded fries. The loaded fries were fantastic! The Mac n cheese was also really good and one of the best mac n cheese I’ve had. I just wish it didn’t have the extra breadcrumbs on. It ruins how good it taste. Other from that everything was perfect, always love an unlimited bottomless coke too! Would 100% recommend!!

Can get very busy. But has got a good seating capacity and friendly staff. Food is great a big fan of their sauces.

Service was terrible. An additional order was forgotten or not done. We waited 45 minutes to be served an additional order. Mind you, the place wasn't that busy either. My experience at Nando's Peterborough was excellent. I expected the same at Norwich. But was disappointed.

It’s Nando’s!!!!! When you’re in the mood it hits the spot, definitely not Michelin star but it does what it’s supposed to.

Stopped by Nando's after a long afternoon walking around the Norwich Lanes. The staff are very friendly and immediatly made us feel comfertable and explained how to place an order. The service was fast and the place is kept clean. The toilets are clean too. The food we ordered was very tasty and we enjoyed eating it. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good too. Overall a good experience. 👍🍺😁

Came here today for an evening meal. Was greeted by Elle & she was friendly, bubbly & explained where the drinks fountain & sauces were aswell as how/where to order. Didn't wait too long to order & food came out quickly despite it being fairly busy. Can use the app or the till to place & pay for the order.

Not terrible, first time visiting Nando’s. Didn’t live up the the hype. Chicken wings were very small. I recommend you Walk 2 minutes down the road and go to clucked instead, much better.

Food was good here, went for my dad's 70th as a group of 12 using the app to order our food was easy but kept getting our food taking to other tables even though in the app we clearly put our table numbers in. The staff seemed unhappy in their job not sure why but they are the face of the company and they clearly aren't happy. One of our meals on the app took the money and accepted the order waiting 20 30 mins while everyone else had eaten we asked where the food was to find out It refunded the money and cancelled the order after speaking with someone they said it was an error with the app and offered a bottle of water or a free soft drink not really acceptable considering the the time wasted

On January 3rd at 10:00 AM, I visited the Nando's store, uncertain if they were open as the doors were ajar. Seeking assistance, I approached the staff. Unfortunately, my interaction was unpleasant. A female staff member responded to my query in a dismissive manner and asked me to leave the store. This experience left a negative impression on me about the store's customer service.

We occasionally visit Nando's and the culinary experience consistently delights us with its delectable offerings. The ambiance is pleasing, maintaining a clean and issue-free environment. However, there was a slight hiccup in the service. It was somewhat sluggish, and I found myself needing to inquire twice about my wine bottle, which took approximately 10 minutes to arrive, without apparent cause. This minor delay is the sole reason for my 4-star rating; otherwise, it would have earned a perfect 5 stars.

Nice food but 2 items were cold so had to be sent back, which indicates that the kitchen staff weren't communicating with each other efficiently so food was being left to lie around for awhile. The items were replaced with no fuss.

Nandos, you have upped your game! The portions have gone much much better! The staff are lovely and the atmosphere was brilliant! I can’t fault it, I stopped coming because it was expensive for what you got but I take this back. It was yummy, filling and has reminded me of my deep love for chicken! Thank you!!!

What an amazing restaurant, I'd personally only heard of having a "cheeky nandos" in passing and assumed it was some kind of fast food joint, boy was I wrong. This is maybe the best chicken I've ever eaten, and the variety of spicy sauces available had me in tears, especially the day after. I'd also like to give a thanks to our server as he was super kind and helpful with the whole experience and i couldn't have figured it out without his help.

Another Nandos that doesnt fail to deliver its concept. Always fins the staff friendly here

Food was nice but took 40 minutes to arrive. Restaurant wasn’t busy but staff looked rushed and lots of priority on delivery preparation. Didn’t get an apology despite me mentioning it.

The place alone was lovely and well decorated, the food wasn’t to great though, and waited over 30 minutes for a seat.

Went on Friday evening and even though it was very busy only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Food was surprisingly quick, well cooked and very friendly staff. Table etc all clean

Best Nando's setting in Norwich ,far nicer venue than the Riverside location. Food is spot on (both venues). Very clean and well presented,staff very efficient.

Went there for the first time ever. Not knowing what to expect, I asked a few questions about their food and sauces, but unfortunately, there was little to no experience with explanation about their products, chicken was not breast it was from the thighs so wasn't a good quality choice. Gonna say the atmosphere wasn't too bad. Employees just need to be able to explain more about their products.

We visit sometimes as a family (normally after a day trip and can't face cooking/washing up). Always well looked after and the food is as expected. Well cooked, piping hot.

What can I say it's a Nandos. Always good. But for whatever reason, you've never been as you've been under a rock dead easy to order. Get your table. Remember the number go to the till order or use the app. If you have a blue light card, etc. you can use it too.

I love Nando's , you can order from the app and gain rewards for more spicy chicken goodness. Once you enter a pleasant staff member will get your details and let you know of any wait time ,if it's busy and 30-40 min wait then they will take details and the app can let you know when to arrive (normally quicker than estimate). Quiet times or getting there just before they open results in getting seated very quickly. Once seated you have a table number and either through the app or going to the till you and order remove or add parts of meals and decide of the heat of the dish meat or veg . A short while later a fresh delicious meal will arrive , the ambient music is topical Portuguese music that can cause a bit of bum dancing and shoulder bopping try to resist it . SPICY CHICKEN GOODNESS what's not to love .

It’s a Nando’s! It’s always great, but be warned if you’re ordering for takeaway the quality isn’t always the same. There have been times where the chicken thighs I ordered were really small, it’s always better in person.

Nandos no es elegante, pero no pretende serlo, lo que hace es básicamente pollo y papas fritas, y lo hacen muy bien. Tuve una oportunidad en la ruleta de alas, así que obtienes 10 alas con una capa diferente de wussy para que ya no pueda sentir mis labios y me dé mucha diversión y, lo que es más importante, un pollo realmente sabroso. La esposa tenía la hamburguesa de pollo y le encantó cada bocado. Los precios son buenos y salimos llenos y muy satisfechos.

I have regularly visited The Nando’s and I can vouch for anyone that this is a banging spot to hang out and eat chicken. I eat extra hot because I’m a big man step to me I dare you!

Digo "me encanta este Nando" como en ... . Elegimos este uno sobre el otro en la ciudad, ya que el personal lo es. Está ocupado, pero no es estresante. El personal es amable. El tipo que nos sirvió hasta la noche siguiente me hizo saber que tenía un entrante o pollo gratis en mi tarjeta de fidelidad. La distribución es agradable. El Fino Pitta es el mejor. Nunca tendré nada más en Nando porque este es el ganador para mí. Comida rápida. Servicio rapido. Tienen algo realmente bueno aquí y el personal lo hace increíblemente bien.

We love Nandos for their food and quick customer service. Usually get served within 15-20 mins of getting a table (even in peak times).

We called in and spoke to the manager who booked a table for 2 people at the beginning of the week for us, but apparently there was no booking made. Luckily we didn't wait very long to be seated. Never been to nandos so was very confussed that we had to go up and order, make our own drinks and get cutlery, which sort of defeats the purpose of waiters so not sure why so many were standing around. My friend and I went to order I showed my NHS staff card in order to get my discount when both of the people on the till looked at each other laughed and the guy looks at me I say "is that ok" he says "fine" the attitude I was given was a joke! .I waited after paying to receive some sort of receipt and wasn't given one he just stood there talking to his colleagues. I then waited for my starter which never came, my mains were delivered to the table so I asked for my starter and the lady went and got it, she had no idea I ordered anything. I then noticed my mains were wrong however was still nice so I didn't say anything. The other people that cleaned and brought our food were lovely though! .the experience was a complete fail other than my food being nice

As far as chain restaurants go, this is a really good one. The food tastes great, the staff is doing a good job and the price is reasonable.

Visited today with my son , had the chicken platter between us which was really good , atmosphere in restaurant was good and staff were pleasant , will be visiting again im sure.

I noticed that there are varying reviews and each to their own but Nando’s is really very consistent no matter which restaurant you visit. Yes it is busy and can be noisy but Nando’s is after all a fast food experience.The restaurant is clean and tidy which is not easy given the throughput but the main this is that the food is really good and consistent with other Nando’s. The red pepper dip is very nice and the main course really good. The staff are always pleasant, and attentive.

The menu is reasonable price, you can get a meal for around £10 which isn’t bad. The kids menu is perfect. Desserts are nothing special, but it’s a mid range meal you can quickly grab a bite in.

I had to try a Nandos once in my life and once is enough. The service is minimal, the food very average (more quantity than quality), half of the dishes we wanted were not available and it's hopefully noisy.

Everytime my partner and I are in Norwich every 3 months we always stop to have a bite at the Nandos in red Lion Street - friendly staff, quick service, good food and reasonably priced - but last time we were there in June we got really stung with an additional charge.. Working for the NHS, Nandos offers a great discount of 20% which makes it really affordable. Their website clearly states that all the prices on the menu include VAT 'so you are paying any extra' but on our bill we were stunned to see that after being charged the menu prices on our bill (which remember includes VAT), they deducted 20% for the NHS discount but onto that subtotal they added another 20% VAT (completely negating any discount). When I raised as a concern the member of staff first said it was correct until I showed her the VAT statement on the website and then she agreed they might have made a mistake with the bill, but when I asked for the additional 20% VAT surcharge to be removed, she stated there was no manager on duty to remove the charge.

We thought we would pop to Nando’s for pre theatre meal. We weren’t disappointed. Service was quick and staff were friendly. I had the 1/2 chicken with creamy mash and garlic bread. My friends had the Fino Pitta and Sunset Burger. We all enjoyed our food and was reasonable priced. Think I will try the Fino Pitta next time. Liked that the soft drinks are refillable at no extra cost

With Nando's you generally know what you're gonna get. This Nandos is no different. Good value for money, always tasty, always cooked good. Nice staff, friendly, quick and they always let us pick tables if it's not too busy. Can't fault it.

Hit and miss this time chicken no seasoning or flavour. Absolutely love a Nando’s and would always put it at 5 stars, not this time.

Hello, I visit this Nando’s on a weekly basis always have great food with happy staff, l recommend this place to anyone who likes chicken but don’t go too spicy!

Been to a couple of Nando’s around the country and this one is very good. Slight wait for our table which is understandable and once ordered food arrived well presented.

Decided to pop into Nando’s for a quick lunch - I won’t be returning! Yes I am in the mid life age bracket but it was quite an experience. Walking through the door to be hit by blue smoke and acrid smell of cooking meat didn’t get our experience off to a great start. Yes we were led to our table quickly and told to order at the till when ready. I thought my husband was being greedy when ordering the whole chicken with 4 sides to share but found this not the case! The chicken had practically been run over by a heavy vehicle, slapped on a griddle, flavouring added to the skin and hey presto Nando’s. The chips were just warm and the sides were small to say the least - all for £21. I could have bought a cooked chicken from Tesco for £4 and recognised that it was once a chicken and to be honest it would have been tastier. We had to collect our own drinks, cutlery, napkins and sauces. There was a novelty plastic chicken attached to our table number which was removed when a member of staff had asked if we were ok - yes it stops more than one staff member asking the same question but was, in my opinion, nothing more than a tick box exercise. Generally quite disappointing all round - food mediocre, staff polite but no personal service and came out smelling like I had been griddled myself!

Nando’s is a great reliable restaurant for healthy food that’s well priced and high in flavour! They have so many unique sources to use and each dish can be made different with them providing a new taste each time!

Visited here several times, 20 minute wait for a table comes as standard now, so best to go when only a little hungry so by the time you get a table you will be starving. Staff were not very attentive on last 2 visits, starter plates left on table for whole duration of meal even when main course was brought out. Chicken seemed a smaller portion than normal and mash potato was slightly burnt. I won't be visiting this particular nandos again.

Visit here atleast a couple of times a month and it’s always great. Food is really tasty and really friendly service. Think the food is slightly better here then the other nandos restaurant in the city!

My second visit to Nando’s and it was just as good as first Visit. Butterfly chicken, spicy rice chips & Garlic bread. Just yum yum yum the staff in this restaurant are charming so friendly happy helpful & polite. Well done Service Food & Value all 10/10

Visited for hubbys birthday a few weeks back with the boys and hubbys eldest son (25) from previous marriage. I ordered the butterfly burger with chips and garlic bread - way too many carbs!!!!! Hubby and boys said their food was tasty but our fun atmosphere was affected by our server ‘Margo’ who really took a dislike to us. My silly sons were laughing at my husband because when ordering he messed up the order(boys will be boys...), however the women ‘margot’ behind the counter thought we were laughing at her. So for the rest of our visit she decided it would be necessary to treat us poorly. She would not serve a beer to my husbands eldest - a six foot, 25 year old man, who by no stretch of the imagination could be under 18. We then laughed at this because it was ridiculous, which apparently enraged Margot further...This put a dampener on the meal as he had to have Fanta - feeling a little childish and wanting a beer after a hard days work at the office. Of course he did not have his ID - him not usually being asked for it, especially at a meal. Margot stared blankly and a little angrily at us while we were enjoying our meal! Did enjoy the succulent chicken breast, but Margot had to ruin it for me and my boys. If I see her looming behind the till point in there again we will head up the road to Bella Italia instead.

Love this place am a regular and they treat me as a VIP! On the odd occasion do fluff up my order but are always sure to sort something out to make up for it.

Called in for a lunchtime meal with family, the food is simple (chicken and chips) but cooked well and very tasty. Drinks along with many restaurants are a bit pricy although there is a decent selection. Staff were really good and attentive.We have eaten here several times in the past and always enjoyed it.
