Seated quickly after a short wait, good choice on menu, food arrived quickly.

Good as always, never disappoints.

Ugh... 2nd time eating here and it was just as underwhelming as the first time. Had to go up and order , 3 people trying to sort the till out no one made eye contact or reassure they would be with me soon. Finally took my order and the food came quick.... but it was cold. The bun on the burger was hard and stale. The sauces are the only good thing here and the meal with no drinks was £30. You'd get better value in the spoons round the corner

I always dine in, when I am in Norwich City to Catch Up with my mates. Cool and very vibrant place to be. Staffs are good and quick on the Service. Had a good time. Looks much better than before. The Restaurant is more bright and clean.

Managed to get a table for 2 without waiting on a Friday evening!! Service was professional and very prompt. The atmosphere was great as was the food.

Four of us turned up and were told a wait of half an hour (no problem). 45 minutes later my name and number of people is called and we get up, only for another group of four to say yes there name was mine and sit down at our table! I explained kindly to the staff that was our table and they had arrived after us and they apologised but did not speak to said table. So we waited even longer. Sat down and then had to order at the till because the app was down (no one’s fault so fine) but I then waited 16 minutes before going up to the till and asking for my glass for the bottomless refill. About an hour and a half after arriving I received my food a sunset burger with peri mac and cheese, and chips- all of which was cold, not even lukewarm! To say I was disappointed with the overall experience is an understatement when I wanted a nice meal out with friends for my birthday. I appreciate the restaurant was busy at the time and expect a longer wait for some things but for £20?? Go somewhere else!

Located in the heart of the city centre, I have been to this Nando’s many of times and they have always kept the same consistency of great service and delicious food! The staff have always been friendly and attentive! We always have the same thing full chicken with two large sides cooked medium with extra extra hot sauce! The restaurant is always clean and tidy! Will continue to return 😄

You know, in most places, a server might look you in the eye, take your order, maybe even ask a question or two to clarify. Not at Nando’s! Here, you get the thrill of ordering by sheer force of will, hoping that with enough mental energy, the person behind the counter just knows what you want. “Half chicken, extra hot with peri-peri fries?” Nope, sorry, looks like you’re getting a mild wrap with a side salad. It’s like a surprise party for your taste buds—who knew you didn’t actually want what you ordered? And don’t even get me started on the ambience. There’s something magical about watching the staff wander around like they’re on a treasure hunt, with no map, and no destination in mind. The dim lighting, the subtle hint of confusion in the air—it’s like stepping into an avant-garde performance art piece, with the theme being “How long can they ignore you before you give up?” But the real highlight has to be the famous Nando’s sauces. They’ve got this whole range of spice levels, which is super impressive—if only the flavor didn’t resemble spicy soap. Honestly, I’ve had milder reactions from actually tasting hand sanitizer. Whether you choose mild, medium, or extra hot, each sauce has that distinctive, mouth-numbing zing of “cleaner meets chili.” It’s like they’ve perfected the art of making your taste buds feel both burned and scrubbed at the same time. Who needs flavor when you can have that unmistakable kick of industrial soap with a hint of pepper? Ah, and then there was the moment of true Nando’s theater: watching one of the waiters swoop in to pick up a fresh order of chips. Graceful as a newborn deer on ice, he managed to send a good portion of them cascading onto the floor. But don’t worry—no waste here! In full view of the restaurant, he simply crouched down, scooped them right back onto the plate, and continued on his way like he’d just dusted them with a secret ingredient. The crowd was riveted, truly a bold new take on “farm to table”—or in this case, “floor to plate.” It was like a live cooking demo in how not to serve food, and I couldn’t have felt more included in the process. In short, Nando’s is the perfect place if you love surprises, enjoy guessing games, and think the “no service is the best service” motto should be the gold standard. So inclusive, so unique. Would I come back? Only if I need some good cardio from waving my arms in the air trying to catch someone’s attention.

Lovely food with sumptuous quantities! Thoroughly enjoyed it! The vusa sauce is an ultimate treat for spice lovers…the spice kicks in right away and tastes heavenly with a bit of tanginess ! Goes well with almost everything they serve…be it rice, fries, pita..etc.

Nando's is usually our favourite to order from deliveroo. Usually get the great imitator wrap with lemon and herb and without chilli jam as don't like it spicy. Last time, it was covered in either medium or hot sauce. Fair enough as a one off - mistakes happen. Just ordered again and it's happened AGAIN. Literally can't eat any of the wrap as it's completely doused in sauce and it's so spicy it made me gag. Getting a refund for the wrap on deliveroo but not really good enough, is it? Doesn't compensate for the fact that my meal was ruined. What is going wrong for it to be happening on two separate occasions? Label states what I ordered but inside is something different - I feel like I'm getting punked. Waste of 40 quid.

Visited nandos for the first time as someone who cannot have gluten. The member of staff who seated us was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring about gluten free food (though it isn't on the menu). The food was really tasty. A fab visit!

Don't understand how using there QR code to order they need your email

My first time ordering here.. The sunset burger… I realise it is thigh meat, but wow, did it have loads of fatty skin and cartilage to the point that I thought I damaged my tooth. Shall not be ordering anything bar chicken breast if there is a next time. Our waiter was very efficient and friendly however. The atmosphere was fine, not too loud.

Nothing special with the chicken, not very tasty. Okay for the price though.

Love the food and service is quick too. Good options for vegetarians now as well.

Great and swift service, food spot on and also speedy. With serendipity, we timed our arrival to perfection as the restaurant filled up rapidly afterwards, for, I suspect, a very usual Friday evening. Centrally located with good bus links a stone's throw away.

First time trying a Nandos and I could NOT fault it! Trying new things can be hard for me but this was a pleasant experience all round. I could not tell the staff enough how lovely it was.

I dine with my husband today.it was lovely experience to have a great night with Nandos.we appreciate especially the efforts which has been put by the guy I guess Rokas.we ordered the binnie wrap but unfortunately it was not available though we had given discount and free dessert.Will visit again and thankyou team for best service😊

We have been to this Nandos several times since moving up from Essex and it is always good. As creatures of habit we always have the platter to share as it represents good value!

We had a visit few days back and ordered 10 wings which were tiny size and cold . There was hardly any meat on that . Garlic bread was burnt from other side and it was hard as well seemed too much toasted . Ambience was good

After shopping around in Norwich for hours we decided to stop by Nando’s for late lunch. After we were seated the food arrived in about 10mins which was super fast! And as usual Nando’s is a 10/10, will definitely be coming back again and again.All the staff there were so attentive so that was a bonus.Just keep in mind that if you want blue light card discount, then make sure to bring in the physical card itself as they do not accept digital card from the blue light app itself.

Since I’ve ordered I’ve seen people come in, order, get served, finish their food, leave and I still haven’t got my food. Got a starter bout half an hour ago so should be good👍

First and LAST time at Nandos. I just don't get the hype! Food was all cold, was only checked back on after we had finished. Staff disinterested, when asked if everything was ok and I said no not really it was cold.. my comment was ignored like I had not even spoken! Why ask! The £27 boneless sharing platter was 2 tiny breasts and 4 tiny thighs , the skin was rubbery and fatty, i expected a nice crisp finish to the skin. The "herb" marinade had almost no flavour. The only nice thing was the mac and cheese apart from the fact it was stone cold !!! This was our anniversary and sadly spoiled our day. Would have got better and hotter food in mcdonalds!! Oh and also at 11.45 am the restaurant was grubby with a broken sink, cutlery not very clean, the whole place looks like it needs a deep clean!

I love the chicken and the various hot chilli 🌶 😋. The rooms are well ventilated and spacious. The chairs are very comfortable.

Food was horrible this was my first time coming to Nando’s my bf wanted to go as it was his birthday so I agreed to try it I ordered the Pino pita I checked what was in it before ordering to make sure I liked what was in it I got a medium spice level on it as well There was literally 0 spice there was egg in the food even tho it wasn’t stated in the menu on what was in the food I hate egg a lot and it was horrible the chicken in the food all I could stasis was the grill I couldn’t taste any chicken as the the taste of the grill was way too overpowering the service was slow only thing I liked was my drink which was a normal Coke Zero I will never come back this was their time to impress me as it was my first ever time coming but failed horribly My food had the medium spice flag on it but tasted no spice at all I don’t recommend coming to this Nando’s !

We were greeted by friendly staff and got a table immediately. The food was good as always. Although the restaurant is a bit tired and run down the staff on this day were a credit to them.

Have been to Nando's many times, but this was by far the most disappointing. I ordered the plant based wrap and most of the lettuce in it was going off and inedible. My friend's chicken burger only had chicken in half the burger... I mentioned the lettuce to the waiter and he said sorry but that was about it. Not great. Edit: Re. Nando's reply, did you read the review? It was nothing to do with speed (that was fine) - it was the risk of food poisoning and only a half-filled burger...

Been a while since I've had a cheeky Nandos. Shame you can't book a table. Food was delicious came fairly quickly. Chicken was nice and succulent. Fries nice and crispy. No butter as they'd run out for the corn on the cob.

I’ve been to nandos many times before but always went to the riverside one in Norwich but since being to this one I actually prefer it. The atmosphere and new modern interior is amazing! Nando’s food is always incredible, you can connect to their wifi to order through the barcode and the food always comes so quickly. I always order the butterfly chicken in hot, with a side of chips, garlic bread and halloumi. I like to make my own burger using the garlic bread, half the chicken and halloumi. Great hack and taste so good! This time I also tried a side of the new mac n cheese and loaded fries. The loaded fries were fantastic! The Mac n cheese was also really good and one of the best mac n cheese I’ve had. I just wish it didn’t have the extra breadcrumbs on. It ruins how good it taste. Other from that everything was perfect, always love an unlimited bottomless coke too! Would 100% recommend!!

Can get very busy. But has got a good seating capacity and friendly staff. Food is great a big fan of their sauces.

Service was terrible. An additional order was forgotten or not done. We waited 45 minutes to be served an additional order. Mind you, the place wasn't that busy either. My experience at Nando's Peterborough was excellent. I expected the same at Norwich. But was disappointed.

I love Nandos, have visited many of their restaurants however, I can honestly have say this was the best experience we've ever had. Absolutely lovely service and food. We popped into this city centre restaurant today for lunch when all our expectations were exceeded. Piping hot delicious food and fantastically friendly staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived 😀 🙌 🥰 Also, the restaurant was spotlessly clean including the toilets. Highly recommended 👌

This place is shockingly bad. You can't reserve a table so had to wait for ages for what was then 2 booths for 11 people hardly what we needed for a birthday meal. The price of the mixed leaf salad is shocking, essentially it was a few leaves with a few seeds on top for crunch! For 4.25 I could make this at home for 30p and it would taste better. I didn't fancy the chicken but my partner opted for the chaurasco burger and he wasn't impressed. The chips were standard. I had a halloumi starter and houmous starter meh.....I haven't been here since it first opened and now I can remember why save your money and go elsewhere why this was so busy with people I'll never know, money would be better off spent at an independent restaurant/pub.

It’s Nando’s!!!!! When you’re in the mood it hits the spot, definitely not Michelin star but it does what it’s supposed to.

Stopped by Nando's after a long afternoon walking around the Norwich Lanes. The staff are very friendly and immediatly made us feel comfertable and explained how to place an order. The service was fast and the place is kept clean. The toilets are clean too. The food we ordered was very tasty and we enjoyed eating it. The atmosphere in the restaurant was good too. Overall a good experience. 👍🍺😁

Came here today for an evening meal. Was greeted by Elle & she was friendly, bubbly & explained where the drinks fountain & sauces were aswell as how/where to order. Didn't wait too long to order & food came out quickly despite it being fairly busy. Can use the app or the till to place & pay for the order.

Food was good here, went for my dad's 70th as a group of 12 using the app to order our food was easy but kept getting our food taking to other tables even though in the app we clearly put our table numbers in. The staff seemed unhappy in their job not sure why but they are the face of the company and they clearly aren't happy. One of our meals on the app took the money and accepted the order waiting 20 30 mins while everyone else had eaten we asked where the food was to find out It refunded the money and cancelled the order after speaking with someone they said it was an error with the app and offered a bottle of water or a free soft drink not really acceptable considering the the time wasted

On January 3rd at 10:00 AM, I visited the Nando's store, uncertain if they were open as the doors were ajar. Seeking assistance, I approached the staff. Unfortunately, my interaction was unpleasant. A female staff member responded to my query in a dismissive manner and asked me to leave the store. This experience left a negative impression on me about the store's customer service.

We occasionally visit Nando's and the culinary experience consistently delights us with its delectable offerings. The ambiance is pleasing, maintaining a clean and issue-free environment. However, there was a slight hiccup in the service. It was somewhat sluggish, and I found myself needing to inquire twice about my wine bottle, which took approximately 10 minutes to arrive, without apparent cause. This minor delay is the sole reason for my 4-star rating; otherwise, it would have earned a perfect 5 stars.

Nice food but 2 items were cold so had to be sent back, which indicates that the kitchen staff weren't communicating with each other efficiently so food was being left to lie around for awhile. The items were replaced with no fuss.

What an amazing restaurant, I'd personally only heard of having a "cheeky nandos" in passing and assumed it was some kind of fast food joint, boy was I wrong. This is maybe the best chicken I've ever eaten, and the variety of spicy sauces available had me in tears, especially the day after. I'd also like to give a thanks to our server as he was super kind and helpful with the whole experience and i couldn't have figured it out without his help.

Food was nice but took 40 minutes to arrive. Restaurant wasn’t busy but staff looked rushed and lots of priority on delivery preparation. Didn’t get an apology despite me mentioning it.

The place alone was lovely and well decorated, the food wasn’t to great though, and waited over 30 minutes for a seat.

Went on Friday evening and even though it was very busy only had to wait 15 minutes for a table. Food was surprisingly quick, well cooked and very friendly staff. Table etc all clean

Best Nando's setting in Norwich ,far nicer venue than the Riverside location. Food is spot on (both venues). Very clean and well presented,staff very efficient.

Went there for the first time ever. Not knowing what to expect, I asked a few questions about their food and sauces, but unfortunately, there was little to no experience with explanation about their products, chicken was not breast it was from the thighs so wasn't a good quality choice. Gonna say the atmosphere wasn't too bad. Employees just need to be able to explain more about their products.

We visit sometimes as a family (normally after a day trip and can't face cooking/washing up). Always well looked after and the food is as expected. Well cooked, piping hot.

What can I say it's a Nandos. Always good. But for whatever reason, you've never been as you've been under a rock dead easy to order. Get your table. Remember the number go to the till order or use the app. If you have a blue light card, etc. you can use it too.

I love Nando's , you can order from the app and gain rewards for more spicy chicken goodness. Once you enter a pleasant staff member will get your details and let you know of any wait time ,if it's busy and 30-40 min wait then they will take details and the app can let you know when to arrive (normally quicker than estimate). Quiet times or getting there just before they open results in getting seated very quickly. Once seated you have a table number and either through the app or going to the till you and order remove or add parts of meals and decide of the heat of the dish meat or veg . A short while later a fresh delicious meal will arrive , the ambient music is topical Portuguese music that can cause a bit of bum dancing and shoulder bopping try to resist it . SPICY CHICKEN GOODNESS what's not to love .

It’s a Nando’s! It’s always great, but be warned if you’re ordering for takeaway the quality isn’t always the same. There have been times where the chicken thighs I ordered were really small, it’s always better in person.

Digo "me encanta este Nando" como en ... . Elegimos este uno sobre el otro en la ciudad, ya que el personal lo es. Está ocupado, pero no es estresante. El personal es amable. El tipo que nos sirvió hasta la noche siguiente me hizo saber que tenía un entrante o pollo gratis en mi tarjeta de fidelidad. La distribución es agradable. El Fino Pitta es el mejor. Nunca tendré nada más en Nando porque este es el ganador para mí. Comida rápida. Servicio rapido. Tienen algo realmente bueno aquí y el personal lo hace increíblemente bien.

We love Nandos for their food and quick customer service. Usually get served within 15-20 mins of getting a table (even in peak times).

We called in and spoke to the manager who booked a table for 2 people at the beginning of the week for us, but apparently there was no booking made. Luckily we didn't wait very long to be seated. Never been to nandos so was very confussed that we had to go up and order, make our own drinks and get cutlery, which sort of defeats the purpose of waiters so not sure why so many were standing around. My friend and I went to order I showed my NHS staff card in order to get my discount when both of the people on the till looked at each other laughed and the guy looks at me I say "is that ok" he says "fine" the attitude I was given was a joke! .I waited after paying to receive some sort of receipt and wasn't given one he just stood there talking to his colleagues. I then waited for my starter which never came, my mains were delivered to the table so I asked for my starter and the lady went and got it, she had no idea I ordered anything. I then noticed my mains were wrong however was still nice so I didn't say anything. The other people that cleaned and brought our food were lovely though! .the experience was a complete fail other than my food being nice

As far as chain restaurants go, this is a really good one. The food tastes great, the staff is doing a good job and the price is reasonable.
