We recently had our wedding reception at the AW Russell private room at Cosy Club. We've had THE BEST day! The team was super helpful and friendly and made our day feel really special. The booking was made simple by the central reservations team and the room was set up exactly how we wanted. We've made some really special memories and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cosy Club! Absolutely amazing. I chose things on the menu I wouldn't usually go for and it didnt disappoint. The Miso caramel tart was hands down the best dessert I've ever had. I'm 100% coming back just for that. I've been thinking about it ever since and keep telling people how good it was. Staff were also lovely of course but the food was a big hit for me and my family.

I'd never been before and was looking forward to seeing what the old bank looked like. The front of house staff were very accommodating and professional on arrival and the decor is lovely. We were seated and then left for quite a while. I grabbed someone's attention to ask for some water for the table and as it arrived, someone else came to take our drinks order. It was quite quiet for a bank holiday and still it took 45 minutes for our food to arrive. All of the chips were cold but we didn't want to say anything as we were all ravenous and didn't want another wait for replacements. The staff were all lovely and I guess we just caught a bad day with a slow kitchen. If the service was quicker and the food was hot, it would've been a great lunch but unfortunately it put a bit of a downer on the experience.

Booked the cosy club for my birthday as I was wanting to give it a try. Drinks came out fine but when it came to food my mum and brother’s food it came out significantly earlier than everyone else’s. Their pasta was practically cold! Everyone else’s meal arrived and I was given my side dish whilst still sat without my main, surely as waiting staff this would raise some questions? As someone who is in a service role for a premium airline I couldn’t imagine noticing someone did not have any food in-front of them and not chasing it up or offering them another drink. When it came to asking questions as to where it was the man was kind and apologetic, as for the waitress who took our order, she approached me with no apology and said “what was it you ordered” to which I reminded her. I wasn’t really kept in the loop or given much direction as to what was actually happening so I said not to worry about it in the end to the other gentleman. At this point everyone had finished their mains anyway. 25% was knocked off the bill only to receive it and see we were still being charged for my meal which never came so we got this changed. I feel really disappointed as this was something I had been looking forward to but won’t be in a rush to go back.

Was in Norwich for the weekend and was looking for somewhere nice to go for breakfast. Travelling solo I wanted somewhere nice but where I could blend into the background and I found cosy club. I was seated on a lovely 2 seater table, waiter was excellent and attentive. Had the full breakfast which was nice (a little on the small side hence the missing star). The building is amazing and worth a visit just for that. Prices were reasonable. Would absolutely return. Great for solo breakfast

Usually really like CC. Unfortunately, upon arrival this time we waited around 25 minutes for drinks and 50 minutes for food. We were asked if we needed another drink 2 minutes after we received our first order. No apology for delay in drinks. Food ok. However, feel as if my coronation chicken burger was half a normal portion? See picture - looks cut in half?? Would usually come again but hesitate after this experience.

First time at the Cosy Club with my wife and not dissapointed. Polite and efficient service. Amazing interior of this former bank. I had the fish gougon sandwich and my wife had the burger. Reasonable size with fries. Menu caters well for gluten free diners. Lunch for 2 with tea was £36. Will be back.

Perfect spot, my coffee was elite - with a little mother's day love heart which was a truly special touch, the vibes were gorg, bar staff were super friendly and attentive. I didn't eat but did nosey as food was being brought to tables and it all looked pretty special. Felt completely comfortable to visit solo but would love to experience it with friends. Good work, Cosy.

Always great stop for a decent cocktail.

We visited the Cosy Club last night to entertain some overseas clients and opted for the private dining space in the vault, as recommended by Mark. He went above and beyond to arrange everything flawlessly—the table setup was stunning, and his team remained attentive and accommodating throughout the entire evening. The food was delightful, and the service was impeccable. One of our clients summed up the experience perfectly, remarking, "You can visit the finest steakhouses in the world, but this meal will remain unforgettable."

What a beautiful place to be. The breakfast was great, the service was outstanding.

I came here for a hen-do meal and I was left disappointed. I had very high expectations due to the setting of this place and the staff that greet you as you walk in. We were shown to our table and there was people still sat on one of our tables! This wasn’t the biggest issue. Everybody arrived and a waitress came to take our drinks order. She was very rude and blunt. She had forgotten two of our drinks and we had to chase them up. I had ordered the fish and chips and when it had arrived there was the smallest amount of fish on the plate drowned in sauce. Sadly I only ate half of the fish as the flavour was too strong and wasn’t very nice and some chips as they came out cold. Little portion and overpriced. I didn’t want to raise an issue as it was a hen-do and didn’t want to cause a fuss. Lastly, when the bill had arrived they had added an extra £12 on (not including service) so when we inquired the server, He had said that it was from one of the ladies drink ( the drink that never came to the table ) so we had brought it up to the server again and he took 10 minutes to find out why there was an extra £12 added onto the bill. I’m really disappointed with the situation and evening as I really had high expectations due to the staff when you walk through the door and the venue of this building.

What a fabulous place for our lunch. Beautiful and grand building which used to be a bank. Great menu and friendly service. The decor is lovely, clean toilet facilities, and private dining rooms available to book, one of which was the original vaults. We really enjoyed our visit

Simply very average experience. It took a long time for drinks to arrive and for the food generally service was slow. The food was just not very impressive, honestly would recommend the lounge chain over the cozy club. Lots of much better places to go for dinner.

The food was absolutely amazing!!

The service is very friendly and they're happy to help with any questions. It can sometimes feel a little slow for the food to arrive, but maybe that shows it's fresh, and it's not somewhere to go for fast food, it's somewhere to enjoy time with friends while eating great food.

Went here with some friends and all the food was delicious and it was cooked exactly how we wanted which included steaks. Service was good and friendly. Vibe of the restaurant is decent and they served nice cocktails. Would recommend!

The cocktails in here were excellent 👌 They didn't have a Dark n Stormy on the menu but they made me one anyway and it was the best one I've had in forever. The hot ginger beer was absolutely delicious

Wasn't happy with the service, I am a vegetarian and they didn't listen to my order properly and they put bacon on my food; in addition they asked for dietary requirements at the door, so they should have been fully aware, but didn't communicate with each other.

Bar had aircon on..5 degrees outside?? Meal in restaurant was disappointing..pasta underdone nearly cold and sparse meat

Service was average, restaurant was quite busy but still we waited a while for everything, some food portions were tiny, the pasta was about 10 pieces, ridiculous for £17, wouldn’t have fed a child, burgers were nice enough, the chicken salad was as equally as small as the pasta. For the money we spent it didn’t seem worth it. Wont be returning unfortunately.

Had a great time with Ali being our waiter! He was the most welcoming and helpful. Recommend the Asian fried chicken as starter, cosy smash burgers were great and the Clover Club cocktail is top notch 👌🏼👌🏼

Overall the service was good.Venue is Stunning.Food was excellent and served well .My only criticism is for the money it was more like a kids meal.The portion size has definitely changed since my last visit.Also no salmon on the menu which I had last time and was delicious.So overall disappointing.Sorry.If it weren’t for that you would have got 5 stars.

Absolutely smashing!! We were served by Jeremiah who was so attentive and kind! We were really well looked after and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the sea bass which was cooked to perfection! Everyone very happy!

Booked the room for celebrating my friend’s wedding as one of the bridesmaids. Food was incredible, the sea bass I tasted was phenomenal! The starters were also amazing, particularly the prawns and fried chicken. Overall they took really good care of us and were super helpful, we had the most amazing time! The bride and groom loved it too.

Excellent commitment to allergy training! Our waiter had to get our gluten free order taken by a staffer who had been trained, as he hadn’t been as yet. Very comprehensive explanation of GF kitchen set up. We’ve never come across this level of care in a restaurant before. Food is delicious and staff are always very friendly and efficient. Great experience all round.

Where do I start …. Wow wow wow. The building is beautiful, staff were friendly and food was amazing. Me and my partner dined here on Valentine’s Day. We booked a table for later on in the evening but decided we wanted to go earlier so called up to see if they had availability. The staff on the phone were super helpful and sorted us an earlier table straight away. When we arrived the gentleman on the door was super friendly and seated us very quickly. Our server came quickly to provide tap water for the table and took our drinks order. She memorised our food order without writing it down which was super impressive (starters and mains) . The food arrived very quickly, well presented and delicious. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced meal with a great atmosphere I would highly recommend. 10/10 for me highly recommend

Our first visit to this venue. Building was beautiful my only complaint would be it was a tad cool. Food was delicious. I had Asian Chicken Salad which was very tasty, other half had a Coronation Chicken Burger, also very tasty. We had dessert which was also good. My wine of the other hand was less than good but was changed with no fuss. Other halves beer was good. Price was reasonable. Bathroom facilities were a trek but in a building of this nature was to be expected. Staff attentive. Would visit again.

Went here for valentines with my partner after an enjoyable Christmas work do last year. Atmosphere was great, low lighting and good music, very open space, good seating, good drinks options, attentive staff all dressed on theme. Despite the valentines day rush, the staff were very lovely and kind, my partner and I had 3 courses and a couple drinks and spent £80 (not on a set valentines menu) so I'd definitely recommend, portion size was fine and the food itself was very tasty. I would definitely recommend for a date or just a casual catchup with drinks if not looking to eat 😄

The Cosy Club is simply super!! What a beautiful setting for some quality and delicious food. The service was great and finding the way to the lavatories is a fun experience as you can see the vault dining room. I would highly recommend the maple glazed pork chop from the brunch. Damn good 🐷

This place is everything when you need somewhere for lunch with your mum! A good variety on the menu, food was delicious, the small pates were good portions, service friendly and swift. All reasonably priced. We were full and satisfied after drinks and a main meal. Around £25 a head. Toilets clean. Decor was eye catching and interesting paintings and prints everywhere. Will be going back.

The atmospheric building is the only positive part of my daughters (hen do) bottom less brunch yesterday. The food was luke warm and overpriced for the small portions we received. The staff could be friendlier and we felt rushed to leave. Had to query the bill for several things wrongfully added. All in all a very negative experience and wouldn't recommend.

It's an impressive building with high ceilings and a great vibe if you like to step back into another era. I believe it was once a bank. It gives off an impression of opulence. You can usually get a table without booking which is handy. I was unlucky with my food as it was lukewarm. Maybe due to the distance from kitchen to table.

I love this place 2nd time coming it has a Titanic era feel to it beautifully decorated a great place to dine . Fantastic food staff were all polite well mannered lovely helpful staff throughout will defo come again . Great prices for such a great place to go ..il defo book again

Unfortunately wasn't a good experience, the room was cold, our order was wrong twice, the service was great in recovering from the mistakes and the toilets were very messy, bin overflowing on the floor. My bill was £140 I felt like I didn't want to pay it.

Just popped in for a drink. Great atmosphere and like how the bar and restaurant are discreetly divided. My only complaint is that they let far too many people in IMO. The bar area was packed and I mean PACKED at around 7.30pm on a Saturday. It took over 20mins to get a drink and there was a group of guys that me & my friends were keen to give a wide berth but there was literally no way to move further away. We left after one drink because of this but returned a few hours later once it had thinned out and had such a good time! Still very busy and we had to stand without a table but much better vibes with the freedom to move :)

A mixed review so I’ll start with the positives. It is a lovely, atmospheric building with plenty of room between the tables. We had the club sandwich which was very tasty, well-presented and reasonably priced. Unfortunately we then ordered crème brûlées for desserts and they were definitely not worth the half-hour wait. They were tasteless, served with a very heavy cream and not worth the price. Our waiter was friendly so I’m not criticising him but there was clearly some ill-feeling amongst some of the staff and management as we could hear moans and complaints which really shouldn’t happen within earshot of customers. Will I go again? Yes probably, but with so much competition in Norwich I hope Cosy Club will not just rely on its beautiful building to attract customers. The menu and service has to match it.

We, 3 kids and 4 adults, had dinner on Christmas eve. Dan! was so friendly and amazing. He was most helpful with getting everything we needed, and our food and drink orders. He had a big smile and always made sure everything was good and correct. Food was good as always. We had a wonderful time!

It's ok, would be a bit unfair of me to give a bad rating, it's just not my kind of place. Feels very 'chainy' and basic. Nice building, shame it isn't something a bit more independent.

The venue is incredible it’s in an old bank and felt pretty grand. The staff were friendly however I ordered a GF vegan butty buy I got a meat butty instead. We had to wait for my food while my partner had finished. All in all we were there for an hour for a sandwich and some pancakes.

First time going to Cosy Club. We chose it as our “Christmas Party” meal choice (it was only me and my fiancé…self employed Christmas party). Our server was really upbeat and happy. I can’t remember his name, possibly Kian? Other staff just didn’t seem to look as happy, I get that there is stress and it being a busy time with it being Christmas so I guess that might be why? We ordered cocktails. The Old Fashioned was really nice, the Margarita was ok, didn’t have salt on the rim which I always expect but maybe that’s because I had the Seasonal Special version? We had 3 starter plates. All nice, but the Halloumi and hot honey just felt a bit overpriced for what it was. It was also a tiny bit dry so would have expected some kind of dip to go with it. The arancini balls were amazing. We did want the croquettes but they were sold out, which was surprising when it was only 4:45 when we were eating. We both had the festive burger and upgraded the fries to Parmesan and truffle oil. They were amazing! I very rarely get a burger when I eat out because I generally feel disappointed and wish I’d ordered something else but this one was lovely. The pigs in blankets were especially nice. We did have one drinks order taken wrong (wrong beer) but again, appreciated it was busy and mistakes happen. Total bill came to £90 (3 drinks, 3 small plates and 2 burgers) which just felt a bit high for what we got. The building is incredible, lovely setting. But something about the atmosphere just felt a bit off. Not sure I’d return for an evening meal. But would maybe try for breakfast or lunch.

We went for dinner here Friday night (13/12/24) and it was pretty busy, which we expected. It was very loud, partly from other guests which I don’t mind but the music was also very loud so we had to shout to be heard by the person sat next to us. It took us a long time to get served and while we weren’t in a rush when we arrived by the time we were paying it had become a rush because of how long it had taken. The food was quite good but nothing particularly special. I enjoyed my Spanish chicken main but it wasn’t good enough to make me want to come back because the price was maybe a little high for what we had. What really lowers the score for this review was the service we got from Ehab. He was overly confident and informal, didn’t use a notepad to take our orders which meant we had to correct him on some of it before he left with the order. When he took a drinks order from us I knew I’d have something later and just wanted water, when I told him I’d be fine with water he said “cheap!” Which I thought was a bit rude. Then later on when I did get a drink I got the festive cocktail special the Bailey’s White Russian (which was very nice and I would recommend!) and he commented “racist.” Which I thought was completely inappropriate and really put me off having ordered it at all. I wouldn’t tell people not to go here if they tell me they’re interested, but I definitely won’t advise my friends to try it if they’re unsure.

Absolutely awful experience! - the manager was very passive aggressive when we asked to be seated making some sarcastic comment about us waiting at the bar for a drink. He didn’t seem to realise the service was slow and we were fed up waiting. - it took 30 mins from arriving to get a drink served - the waiter immediately took away the regular menu and forced us to order from the EXTREMELY overpriced Christmas menu. - what a joke! The starters worked out as £15 per head. Whilst the food tasted nice they amount served was embarrassing. For £15 each I’d expect at least double the amount of food. Check the pic- this was to serve 5 people. - the mains were awful. The pie was hollow and some cheap pie from a foil tin. This food is cheap and offers extremely poor value. The veg was cold. - the staff are not delivering a Christmas experience. It’s just like a converter belt service - trying to get you and out as quickly as possible. - hated every minute being here.

After recently moving to Norfolk I was missing my local lounge cafe. I was informed there was a cosy club in Norwich only 25 mins away. I visited Saturday with my daughter and our small dogs. We was so impressed. The staff were so friendly and attentive making us and our dogs feel welcome, offering water and biscuits for the dogs. The food was delicious. The prawn starter was amazing. The seabass was better than I could ever have anticipated. The building is gorgeous and has such a pleasant vibe. I can't wait to return soon with my partner, this is my new favourite place. Such a great find. 5* all round from me...love it!!

Had a really lovely pleasant evening , The Cosy Club is correctly named as the atmosphere is just that ( cosy ) and that’s strange as the place is huge, being crammed in or to near other tables in a restaurant is my bug bare but it’s spacious . We had a very helpful waiter Alistair who was spot on from the get go and nothing was too much trouble , food was lovely served swiftly but not rushed. There was an issue with our voucher and a Manager came and helped us with this , I didn’t get her name ! But she was extremely helpful . All in all a 5 ⭐ service .

A rather impressive building oozing with elegance and finesse. Stylish and suave, yet cosy in it's own unique way. This is a beautful place, yet gives the Impression of a once old fashioned gentleman's club, which I liked. The prices were reasonable but only stopped for drinks so cannot rate the food element. A really lovely visit and worth checking out for sure if looking for something a little different with a different kind of vibe.

Had a party of 30 in one of the rooms, food luke warm, service very slow and didn't take orders for desserts for over half of the party. Shame as always had excellent service and food in main restaurant.

Hi. Been here a couple of times before (breakfast and tea, both good) but this time, unfortunately service was quite slow (30 minute wait for main courses after starters) and portions rather smaller than expected, given the price. Flavours were good though. Perhaps they are having staffing problems. 3.5 stars

Lovely atmosphere and helpful staff members. We enjoyed our brunch and have used one of our stamp cards to pay for one. It's very cosy and bright place and loads of different lights around, our daughter really liked it.

Outstanding food and service. Book to avoid disappointment! My fish and chips, served in a delightful caper and lemon cream sauce was amazing. My wife loved her gluten free smash burger. Desserts were amazing. Creme brulee with real vanilla pods and a crunchy top, and salted caramel and chocolate mouse. The house white wine, a verdejo, is really good. Christie was the perfect hostess. Thank you.

I had smoked salmon, avocado and scrambled egg on sourdough toast when I was at Norwich and I must say it was the best I've ever had. Thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was really good as well.

We visited for our anniversary, to start with the service was great, then our waitress seemed to go home and we got ignored by the other staff. A really poor show!!! Our mains were great but we were then left!!!

Nice visit, took a while to get the drinks after ordering, should have gone to the bar. Good was nice, but if you advertise potatoe skins double cooked, don't serve new potatoes deep fried, they are not the same and 5 small pots is poor value at 5.50! Nice staff though. Nice place, beautiful decor
