Mr India in Wycombe

We were looking for a restaurant on our travel through Buckinghamshire and my husband found Mr India the spice master on google. I am very glad he did! The restaurant itself is big, beautifully decorated and welcoming. The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. It was Halloween and one of the lovely staff dressed up as a skeleton which entertained my youngest son during the meal. There was a carved pumpkin with chocolates which was offered around. It was a really lovely touch and all of my family agreed what a lovely evening we had had. The food was fabulous, delicious and high quality, fresh and tasty. If we lived in High Wycombe, this would be our restaurant of choice. Well done Mr India, we loved it!

Visited Mr India recently with a group of friends. We received a warm welcome by the staff. Once seated our drinks order was taken whilst we read the menu. Our food order arrived promptly despite the restaurant being busy. Everyone agreed that it was delicious. Staff remained attentive throughout. We will definitely return

Probably the best Indian food I have ever eaten. The restaurant interior is beautiful, light and airy. The staff are great, very attentive and the food is outstanding.

Food amazing and fabulous service from the staff. Take away food is always good and the same quality as eating in. Nothing is too much trouble for them. My husband comes on his motability scooter and they give so lunch help to us.

We hadn't been for a while but it always feels special - Naz, our waiter, new to the job but efficient and friendly made our evening.

This was our second time at Mr India - The Spice Master. The first time was on our way to Los Angeles in February 2024, and this evenings visit in July 2024, on our way to see Bruce Springsteen at Wembley Stadium. Mr India is our favourite Indian Restaurant, but sadly we live 250 miles away in Snowdonia North Wales. Just as well really, otherwise we’d be visiting every week and be as fat as houses. The food, service and atmosphere here are all exceptional and this evening we have a special thanks for our server and waiter Naz who looked after us very well. We will definitely be back when we’re next in the area. Thanks again Mr India.

Ordered a take away from here, lamb was super soft as well as partners chicken. Hot and fresh. Very tasty!! Nan was super too!!

As an Indian food lover I found the fare really excellent. This was our first visit and we just went with the set dinner for two. The lamb was delicious and the chicken tika was spot on. We had a lovely evening with friends. Further, the service was exceptional - a very high standard I almost never find in the UK in any type restaurant.

From the outside you may be fooled in to thinking this is just your ‘run of the mill’ curry shop. It isn’t. The food is fantastic and different, service is good, and it is really clean. Highly recommended.

We've been coming to Mr India for 20 years and it is a truly excellent restaurant with great atmosphere, welcoming staff and top quality food. Never been disappointed!! A cut above the rest.

As usual the food and staff were great. Was served by a lovely waiter called Kuzi who I have been served by on more than one occasion. Ordered the lamb shank with rice and garlic naan. Will certainly return again.

Fantastic Indian food, I had the Chef Special and was absolutely delicious, my friend had the Chicken Madras and had just the right amount of heat, great service and not rushed, will definitely be coming back soon.... Thank you team Mr India

Great food and amazing service. After staying locally for work and hearing many good reports about this place from people at the office we bit the bullet and went. And it was so good we went two night’s running!! First night we all eat off the set for four and food was simply delicious and great value for money! Second night we were recognised and greeted with equally warm welcome and hospitality from the staff !! Choosing our own dishes this time and this time just having a started and main with side and 1 drink !! Will defiantly be back again !!

This was the best Curry I’ve had since living in High Wycombe. Over the last 11 years I’ve tried pretty much every Indian Restaurant in High Wycombe, Amersham and Beaconsfield. Would definitely eat/order from Mr India again. 10/10

Mr. India restaurant offers a delightful dining experience. The food is delicious, the staff is professional and friendly with excellent attention to detail. Their customer service is top-notch, and Kazi, the owner, is a wonderful host.

We love Mr India! The food is beautifully prepared and presented, with a delicious blend of spices. They do all the standard dishes you’d expect, along with some interesting different ones too. The staff are so friendly and attentive and the setting is comfortable and nicely designed. We visit as often as we can afford. We recently asked them to cater for my husband’s big birthday and they laid on a superb buffet, delivered hot and on time. All our guests were very impressed with the food.

The service from Sall is only beaten by the quality of the food. Mild or firey, vegetarian or meat or fish it is always perfectly cooked, tender and perfectly flavoured. Highly recommended, if you love food you really need to visit.
