Ordered large cod and chips and small cod and chips. Food came up and they realised THEY had done 2 x large cod. So they kept one on top of the counter getting cold while they cooked a fresh small one, unfortunately by the time we got it home 1 x small cod and chips was OK, 1 x large cod with chips was lukewarm. What happened to customer service? They ruined our dinner so they didn't have to give us a large cod. How much did they save £1? Won't be going there again, they are idiots, they have lost a potential customer. No smiles between any of them either, no thank you etc etc. Back to the fish and chip shop in St Margaret's, much better anyway and they serve you with a smile.

what happened? chips were hard and undercooked and the chicken burger was hard and over cooked. at least the sausages were edible.

2nd time ordered from here, food is great quality! Fish tastes lovely and a good size portion for small, chips are really good, not oily and good portion size again. Mushy peas are a little salty but overall great food and service and would still continue to order from Mr Cod’s. Hygiene rated 5 also

Served this afternoon after school pick up ..the chips were dry had been reheated most had black the black bits in them and I wasn't about to let my Grandaughter eat them ..I called up and the perin on the phone blamed the potato supplier. You really couldn't make it up

horrible! kebab and chips were tough and well overcooked, I threw it in the bin! just eat were useless and put it down to the restaurants style of cooking? I've had reasonable meals from here before but you've ripped me off once too often now and I won't use you again.

Only one sachet if vinegar for large chips is pretty stingy… kebabs good but the portion size is ridiculously small. Better places in teddington to go too for quality and value

The food was amazing . Nouresh served us so well . Fresh fish , good portion , my friend had batter sausage which was lovely . Restaurant very clean . I am new to area and now a new customer that is very happy .

We Always use mr cod’s when we want fish and chips but tonight was disappointing..we had two haddock and one battered sausage and 3 small chips..fish was lovely as normal and my son loved his meal But all three chips seemed to be overcooked and dry with a large amount of small bits..Not enjoyable as usual

The fish and chips were cold and we had to reheat. We followed the driver on the app and he went round the houses with a couple of stops, we didn’t see an insulated bag like they normally use. We ordered a large fish but got a pretty standard size and thin portion which was disappointing.

Ordered 6 hot wings and by far some of the best I’ve ever had. Staff were great and only took five minutes as they were cooked to order. Great price as well and tasted amazing. Highly recommend!

Mr Cods is one of the best chip shops in the area. we are trying to go and collect the food ourselves as the charges they have to pay to uber eats, justeat ect are enormous, it works out much cheaper to go collect ourselves. Also the food is lovely 😀

The fish batter was soggy and the chips were like cardboard where it had been kept warm waiting for a delivery driver

So disappointed as loved Mr Cod’s! The chips were reheated and tasted of old oil, lots of sharp burnt bits and the ones that were chip like were lacking potato in the middle! The fish was over cooked and dry and tasted very fishy! (Bizarrely fish should not taste as it smells!) won’t go back there now!

Food was hot and delivered on time. The fish i ordered [Plaice thus time] was huge and very tasty ,chips smaller amount which was perfect for me..Enjoyed the meal very much. Always go to Mr cods as i know it will be good.

The battered halloumi came in a very oily box but didn't taste fresh at all- the cheese was hard and rubbery.

Rush cooked. Battered saugers cold in middle. Chips not well cooked. Not good at all.

It was very small piece of fish inside less than 100 grams coverd with greesy fried flour.

I'm afraid both the fish and the chips tasted the same, of nasty oil. Fish was meant to be Large, but it was seriously lacking in size... very thin, barely any fish in it not the thick chunky cod we should expect for the price they charge. Will not order again.

I have ordered quite a few times from Mr Cods and have never been disappointed until today. The chips were a mix of warned up hard ones and a few nice fresh cooked ones, i ordered a large to feed 3 people but the box was half full ( perhaps a few scoops)but the halloumi salad was very disappointing and not worth nearly £10. I won't say I won't order again from Mr Cod as they are usually very good, just not this time.

I ordered on just eat,chicken nuggets and fries for my son but only got the nuggets so gave bad review but the manager went out of his way to ring and apologised then brought more food so for this I change the review

What are pity this place used to be great value and good quality now and the new management and the large cod size charged at £7.80 was an extremely small amount of fish even smaller than the old regular portion won't be going back at these prices. However a piece of skate I saw a seems quite a large size.

First time here and we were not disappointed. We ordered a large & small fish and chips and it cost about £21. We had to wait a short while as the fish was cooked fresh. We ate in as there are a couple of tables. The place was clean. Whilst we were eating there we a steady flow of customers and delivery drivers collecting orders. Definitely worth a visit and when we are in the area again we will eat here.

We have just started using Mr Cod as our regular chippy, I can't fault them. Lovely food good portion sizes and delivered in good time. A great Fish and Chip shop.

The service was good but the fish and the batter was poor AF tiny fish soggy batter and tried to make up with it with a massive box of chips.. used to be good but that was disappointing..

When it comes down to Friday night's fish n chips, we can't think about any other food than Mr. Cod's Fish n chips. They always deliver their services to high standards, neat shop and polite members of staff. They make our Friday's sometimes weekdays evening more enjoyable with delivering crunchy fish and very generous portion of chips. Oh yes! One more thing, their curry sauce is just mouth watering. Thank you all sooo much!!!!

Batter wasn't quite cooked in places, other very nice haddock & chips, and portion sizes big. Definitely will eat it again.... very happy & full.

Really nice and quick service. Holumi could have a been a little thinner to avoid the rubbery texture. Do recommend and will be ordering again.
