Not the yummiest poke I've ever had, but certainly well worth the price!

My husband and I ordered some poke last week in Island poke Richmond. Unfortunately the salmon poke that I ate caused a bad food poisoning which is still persisting and requires help from my GP. I will not return to eat in that place any time soon.

I regularly visit this location, great service from the staff and great low calorie food options.

Quite expensive for a small cold meal. Also not so delicious :(

This was my first visit. Must recommended and best service from staff, nice music with best ambiance.

Food is great! Really fresh, lots of choices and vegan options. The lady that served me was lovely and suggested options that went well together. Will definitely be back. Wasn't expensive, for a well filled poke bowl and drink it cost me £11.

The poke bowls are nice and delicious. Very friendly staff and they give you, your bowl in whatever way you like it

Tbh for 10£ ITS lacking value to much Rice Not enough toppings Shop is Well layed Out. But unfortunately No wow factor here have had better

Ordered through Uber Eats and half of the Chicken Poke Bao was stale, really disappointed about it.

Delicious poke - fresh fish, so many options and combinations, excellent value for money and delivered as close to being made as I’ve ever experienced. Struggled to find good poke in the uk but island poke is the closest to as good as I’ve found. My favourite poke in the city

Wonderful poké bowls! Try the spicy options too. Friendly service and the wooden swings at the front are a great lunchtime hangout.

I like the idea here and have got take away lunch a few times. A nicely put together shop & cool decor/fittings. Everything looks really clean. Staff often seem a bit detached from the concept and not quite sure of what they’re offering, but that’s just my observation & it’s a good place generally.

The food tasted good but the avocado was off. Service was good. No toilet.

Fish really isnt fresh and reeks, which is a big issue as we are talking raw fish here. Avoid

Unfortunately though on this occasion (Richmond) the rice was partially hard with each mouthful, eventually gave up 1/3 of the way in. Very polite and accommodating staff (although initial debating involved being advised it was normal 🤔 ), offered to remake using white rice base (from original brown) which I politely declined. Opted for a refund instead, only to discover when getting back to my vehicle that my bank app showed that I'd been charged for the meal again 😑 Returned to the store, very sincere apology from the manager. (I know mistakes can happen 🙏). All corrected 👍 I will be back & hopefully its 5 stars next time. - although still new experience to me having to pay £2 extra to sit down and eat 😒 (All stores) - sure it won't break the bank, but just morally odd to me 🤔

lil spenny for the portion sizes but the food was fresh with a good range of options and i liked the unique condiment selection

Friendly and helpful staff and tasty food choice for a fussy vegan like me. Great price too! I love the miso aubergine with a brown rice base. So nice on its own but even better when I top the whole thing off with avocado. Highly recommended.

The food was quite nice, though nothing spectacular. Portion size was a little on the small side. Price was a little on the high side. I'd consider going back.

Awful experience . Ordered though Uber eats and chose to build my own salad poke bowl as I have an allergy to coriander. Was really excited about my order and when recieved it, on the first bite I could taste coriander. There was no contact number So I can call the restaurant and get a new order and there was not coriander listed on the Ingredient. I am so upset as it has now left me with no dinner and no way to contact the restaurant. They really need to be more careful to ensure the safety of their customers.

I visited today for the first time as I had been given some coupons however I wasn’t very impressed. There wasn’t much variety of veg to choose from and it was a quite small portion mainly consisting of rice. The chicken looked and tasted off so I ended up leaving the majority of it. It was also very overpriced for what you get. Sorry but I won’t be visiting again

Pleasant interior, ingredients good quality, with a nice variety of bowls to choose from. As the store was empty (late afternoon) the food was ready quickly. The one other staff hung about hunched over, browsing on their phone, must have been bored and run out of chores. Not a nice attitude to witness when paying such prices for such average portion sizes; next time just hide in the kitchen if you really have to be on your phone. Still 4 stars as overall the end result was yummy, healthy and quick.

The portions are pretty small for the money and rice not very fresh. Maki & Bowl, which was my go to for poke for years, seems to be a far better deal.

Interesting concept and i love poke. However they stuff the bowl w too much rice, some of the veg are not always fresh looking, and you always have that cheap car dealership vibe as they try to upsell you at every step of the way for little things (90p scallions, 2£ for normal fish portion etc)

Delicious food, I always have great food when I order from there, I particularly love the yuzu salmon dish! Staff are incredibly helpful and kind, Island Poke is definitely an excellent addition to Richmond!

Visited today and not impressed at all. The dishes are cold, they will just put rice of your choice at the bottom of the bowl and add ingredients. We ordered two types of chicken, spicy and teriyaki, they used the same pre-cooked chicken and covered it with a different sauce! The girls who worked there are kind but won't remember what you've requested and ask the same questions over and over again. It's relatively clean but they kept the door open on a cold February day.I would not repeat my visit but if they want more customers, they should change their customer experience.

First time trying today- I was excited as I love poke. I was very disappointed- very bland and poor quality ingredients. Haven’t been to Maki & Bowl in a while but may be a better choice!

I had miso Aubergine bowl which I can honestly say was one of the most horrible thing I ever ate.

Tough competition with Maki and bowl round the corner, and I think Maki just pip it. Amazing vibe at island poke but the dishes are smaller and I was shocked it cost extra to sit in per person. Still great to have on the high street

Awful service, not engaging at all. The venue is extremely small and the music very loud. The food is good but not too far from an average WholeFoods market standard.

The service is fast and staff are very friendly. Ingredients are fresh and tasty, I think I can eat here everyday! ❤ love poke bowls. The design of the place is also very nice and relaxed. Absolutely amazing vibe. Table cleaning isn't very quick but over all a fantastic experience.
