Mr Chippy in Lewisham

When I ordered from here, I mistakenly thought it was the one at Grove Park. Still enjoyed it though. Sausage in batter was really tasty. The bottles of vinegar are really wishy washy tasting though. The food however was nice

Absolutely rank curry sauce was not curry sauce it had bits in it. burger didn’t even have sauce ie mayonnaise it was dry just a chicken patty with lettuce that looks like was sitting there for over a week will never order again

Enough is enough. This is not about the food but the older guy who works there with his wife. He is a thief big time. 3rd time in a row he was charging too much. First time I realised when I was at home and couldn't be bothered to go back.2nd time I was just making sure that's I'm right so I let him robbed me. But I thought I will give him a chance before I will post a comment. So today I did order again and I went to collect. Same story charged more then he should. I'm writhing this post to warn other people. It only a pound or 2 but its shocking anyway. His wife is always nice and doesn't like him doing this but he always does. GREEDY THIEF. Don't give him any tips he's already taken from you lol.

Curry sauce spilt everywhere and no sausage

Small chips are small portions in a small box size of your hand not like you'd get from the chip shop. They were nice though. The saveloy was hard, and a bit dry, either overcooked or lying around for a while. The sausages in batter and chicken were very nice. I would order again as a good price and I still enjoyed it.

Just tried thia tonight. Tasty fish and chips and run by a nice couple. Would recommend and will be going back

Beautifully cooked chips and the fish was very, very tasty. However, the portions were much smaller than usual.

Disgusting chips tasted like washing up liquid and soap not sure if this meal is gonna kill me only ate half of it and my stomach is hurting

First time I've had a "small" portion of chips from a chippy that was indeed small! Food was good quality and tasty though, and despite it being delivered a bit later than expected, was still nice and hot when it arrived.

Nice food it arrived hot and on time however my curry sauce was missing and the chips were not large

The fash batter was delicious, chips tasty,, mushy peas gorgeous. The only negative was the delivery man who was clearly having a bad day. Will definitely order again.

Sausage in Batter wasn't cooked as it was pink inside. The saveloy was over cooked and the chips could of done with another 5 minutes. Chips were hot but pie was lukewarm.

Food has always been fresh and top quality but because of a error by just eat my food was delivered to someone else with their order driver then went back to collect it and deliver it to me where I would not accept it just eat offered me 5.00 compensation for a 24.75 order which is an insult as a result I have deleated my acc thus a good food outlet losing out

The order was confirmed at 17.45 driver got here 18.50 I tracked him all the way he took my order to thornbeach rd he must of dropped another delivery off he then came to end of my road then drove off without delivering any food I then tracked him all the way back to his first drop off then he came to me again with food from the first person's house I did not accept the order driver said he doesn't speak English so I said take it away as a vulnerable person I don't know what could have been done to my food at first address and feel insulted to be offered a 5 pound credit on my acc and the amount I spend with your company I feel is insultìng

Food was never delivered. I paid for it, called the shop and got no where. Can I have a refund for what was paid for and never delivered?

We ordered a large chips for 2.70. It is smaller than a small in the other local chip shops. The Flying squid do a small that is double the size and only £2, but their fish isn't as good. Make up your own mind but buy with caution.

All the times they try to overcharge... Just put higher prices on the menu do not try to sneak it in my receipt...👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

I ordered 3 large chips and it was 3 regular. Extremely disappointed.

The chips were very old like they had been recycled many times and and the haddock still had the scales on it even though it was dipped in batter. Very disappointing dinner.

Chicken nuggets tasted like fish, chips very oilily and part of order was wrong.

Unfortunately, probably the worst fish and chips I have ever had, very soggy and just tasted yuck! Not used this particular fish and chip shop before, certainly won't be using again. Delivered on time though. .

I used to live in Hither green and loved Mr Chippy. The fish is still great, l just wish he added the plenty of vinegar he used to add. Or put it in a container on the side

The pies were gone off and non of the food was hot - the whole order has been put straight into the bin as it was not editable.

Delivered in polystyrene, not paper, batter was lovely on the fish, but the fish, while good quality, did have a bones in it. The chips are nice. The onion rings are like the ones you get from a frozen food store, nothing special. The burger is basic and plain. I am glad I tried it as great to find fish and chips delivery, not sure if I would order from here again as there are better value fish and chips in the area, yet this places doesn't pretend to be posh or the best, just does what it does and I wish them the best.

Very disappointed the fish still had bones inside I swallowed one of the bones and now my throat is hurting the chips are very soggy and who would put an cold can of Coke in with the hot food now my Coke is warm

Lovely family run chip shop with good food and great prices, has been a regular stop off for me on my way to different places.

Excellent, does exactly what it says on the tin, an old fashioned fish and chip shop (note it serves chips, not french fries like most in vicinity)

The fish is cooked fresh to order each time and the chips are always good too. Without question the best chippy in the area. Run by a really nice couple too.
