Cafe Bianca in Lewisham

Asked for cod and chips. Good chips the fish was not cod, was hake, overcooked on outside, undercooked, cold and mushy on the inside. Told the waitress about the mistake and she, in a mockery tone, said "sorry, I didn't know!" It looks like they don't know how to cook nor what they are cooking and serving. I can't imagine the cross contamination inside that kitchen. Definitely not recommendable!

We always went there when we visited my grandfather. The food was always great.

We really wanted to like this place as there're so many good reviews. Prices are reasonable for London however we wouldn't be back: the veg sausage was extremely dry and the plate was overall bland. The pancake/crepe was unfortunately tasteless. My partner had a classic fry(called set B I think), not pictured, and his chips were soggy. The service was quick.

Did really enjoy my breakfast there.Place is clean, you have tables outside if the weather is nice or you are a smoker.Staff is friendly, service was qucik and portion quiet decent.

Ordered poached egg on toast and got fried. If they didn’t offer poached eggs it would have been nice for them to tell me when ordering. Also, the eggs were solid which made it even worse. The person behind the till was lovely and really friendly. I don’t think I will be coming here again. I know a lot of people rate this place but they must have low standards.

Tasteless cold food, poorly presented, half of the cheese is not even in the burger everything is like it was thrown together. Never again.

The scrambled egg was yellow and there was a strange brown thing found in it.. The order note wasn’t followed, the bacon and sausage was swimming in oil, and the sausage baguette I ordered came as a panini. Not impressed at all.

Food is good... only issue is that I never received the apple pie with custard or a refund for it.

I only had a coffee but the menu and range of food looked good

Meine Frau, meine Tochter und ich waren im Urlaub zweimal hier um ein gutes Englisches Frühstück zu genießen. Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Das Frühstück hat allen sehr gut gefallen. Es war üppig und lecker. Der Kaffee war ebenso lecker. Wirklich ausgezeichnet war der sehr freundliche und schnelle Service. Einzig das etwas in die Jahre gekommene Mobiliar könnte partiell erneuert werden. Sollten wir mal wieder in London in der Nähe unsere Ferienwohnung haben, so kommen wir gerne wieder zum Frühstück vorbei.

Great vibe and service. A gem among the old school cafes in south London! Cheap prices for quick service and a smile. The have a huge variety of foods like burgers, sandwiches, full breakfasts, jacket potatoes, omelettes, salads, baguettes and plenty of specials! Food was nice but needs attention on the little details for the fifth star. Ketchup tasted odd and burger meat wasn’t anything notable. But I LOVED THIS PLACE! A true gem with a lot of character

The bacon was old,the sausages were mushy inside,the chips were black inside,tin tomatoes were bitter,cheap tea and coffee,cheap poor ingredients for £10.00 per breakfast.left with out eating our food.

5 stars given as its a truly unpretentious classic English caff. Hearty basic food with a wide range of options. Don't expect great decor it's a caff not a cafe. Lots of great Deptford characters and very friendly staff and easy on the pocket making it great value and a classic market eatery!

I went there on Saturday morning before midday and ordered ham omelette and surprisingly the food is so tasty! I had some beans and hash brown with it. One of the best English Breakfast I have ever tried will definitely come back! Oh there is Deptford market too every Saturday

I love Cafe Bianca. It's always busy and rightly so - it's great place to go for a cup of tea and a cheese toastie, and to watch the world go by on Deptford Market.

Open on a Sunday! Noted! Went in thinking it was my first time in there but recognised the layout and the staff. My dodgy memory does the cafe a disservice. Had cheese and ham omlette and chips and they were proper chips not the so called chips some places offend my plate with. Really enjoyed the experience, hopefully won't forget the visit. Debating giving extra half star.

Food arrived with spillage making toast wet and box with breakfast was broken. Could be bad packaging of food or reckless delivery driver. Either way disappointing service.

The food here is quite delicious. The person behind the counter makes perfect eggs every single time! The coffee is all right, but the orange juice is really good. Freshly made every day as far as I know. Only negative side is that the way that the entryway is angled or shaped seem to always get the smell of cigarettes in the restaurant as you’re eating. Service is super polite and always willing to help.

I did a make your own breakfast and there was literally so much food that I couldn’t eat it all. All of it was hot but the beans spilled in the plastic wrap and into the bag, which wasn’t too bad but it was just a bit of a mess.

I've been eating at Cafe Bianca since 2005, and it's always been a good experience. Staff are friendly, choices of food and drink are great, and overall it has a comfortable vibe about it.

I stated in the notes for the restaurant that I wanted my eggs well done. What I got was egg yolk all over my tomatoes, a sausage and my bacon. The sight of yolk makes me gag. I only ate the toast as the rest was spoilt for me.

MY FAVOURITE CAFE EVER!!!!! my parents first brought me here when i was a little girl 18 years ago. We would go for full english breakfasts regularly and the owners have been running the cafe all these years. They've known me and my family my whole life - and ive known them to always make a banging breakfast!!!! They cook so speedy, and it all tastes DELICIOUS. Everything on the menu is gonna be hearty, well cooked, good tasting food. But I have to say the breakfasts are just the BEST. Portions are generous and price reasonable. They also make anything you ask, so just ask! The owners are the friendliest, sweetest couple and they run a brilliant service. I cannot wait to go back and sit in for my breakfast as soon as this lockdown ends.

My parents in law discovered this lovely and yummy place. With my husban, we both tried it once, and since then, it is our fav spot. Our treat is the most amazing BLT. I highly recommend this place with the eyes closed.

Knajpa z zewnątrz nie wyglądała szczególnie zachęcająco, totalna mieszanka ludzi z różnych warstw społecznych, proste jedzenie, szerokie menu i niskie ceny, to nie wróżyło nic dobrego. A jednak! Zamówiliśmy dwa burgery z porcją frytek za 9,70 funtów łącznie. Porcje jakie do nas przyszły były ogromne! Jedzenie przygotowane w prosty smaczny sposób z prostych, ale świeżych składników. Wszystko było smaczne i przygotowane w domowy sposób. Jedyne nad czym bym popracowała to sos pomidorowy, na początku ok, ale z każdym kęsem coraz gorszy. Obsługa była bardzo miła. Zdecydowanie polecam to miejsce.

Visited 4 or 5 times now. Each time service fast and pleasant. Food well prepared and tasty. Spotless surroundings friendly staff and great prices. Outstanding feature here is the huge range of food on offer. You could come here for two weeks and not eat the same food twice! An absolute jewel.

Does a good tea shame about the customers. Especially tramps that drink special k. If they want to drink alcohol they should be told to go elsewhere

The manager was very rude to me. When I walked in, I went straight to use the restroom - I had full intentions of sitting down and ordering food afterwards. However, as I walked through and manager shouted 'ooh'. I didn't realise he was talking to me and so he followed me, he didn't even ask if I was a customer, he just angrily told me I can't use the toilet. I therefore decided to just leave.

Good prices, good service. Nothing fancy but good for the price and excellent for breakfast.
