Mr Bojangles Coffee House (Mr B) in County Durham

Came here with a friend whilst it was a little quiet and got two lovely bagels! Couldn't help but get a hot chocolate as well, and a slice of red velvet-the slice was absolutely massive, and waiters very friendly. Nice spot!

Wanted somewhere to go with my daughter and niece for a nice milkshake. Couldn't have been happier with Mr Bojangles. Fantastic service and staff, really friendly atmosphere. We also might have ordered some waffles.....the portion size was huge and we ended up taking a doggy bag home! Couldn't recommend this place more, will definitely be back with friends and family.

Amazing! Bagel was delicious. Dessert was also delicious and absolutely huge! Definitely for 2 people. Highly recommend. Excellent prices too.

Visited today with my family. The Bagels were great value for money. I tried the pineapple and chilly and it was delicious! My wife had a waffle and it was massive. If I lived in Durham I'd probably come here everyday.

I originally visited with colleagues from work. We sat in and ordered a bagel and drink each. I had the Pad To bagel which was delicious! So delicious in fact I brought my vegan sister through a few weeks later to try it! She and my mum both loved it and said now whenever I'm in Durham I have to call for a bagel for them. They recently introduced more vegan cakes which are also fantastic! Im so glad we tried this place as the food is lovely and the staff are always incredibly helpful and friendly! The prices are also very reasonable as I got 2 bagels and 4 large slices of cake for around £15.00. I strongly recommend that anyone in Durham try this place, you won't be disappointed!

My wife, daughter and I called after an afternoon walk into town. Americano, latte and hit chocolate were superb, really nice and strong. I also had salmon and scrambled egg bagel which was a good portion, so tasty. Prices are very reasonable indeed. We'll be back for sure.

Nice little coffee shop, a little cramped inside but always managed to get a seat. Bagels are tasty and fresh, coffee is good and the staff are very friendly. Good to see an independent coffee shop giving the chains some competition.

I was visiting Durham with a friend and we stopped here each morning for a hot drink before exploring Durham, the staff were lovely and friendly, I had hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and it was delicious. Our only regret was that we didn't eat there as I'm sure that would have been good too.

Was in Durham yesterday visiting daughter/ grandsons. Before meeting at the cathedral thought we would pop in for a quick cuppa. We encountered a accidental low flying cup of coffee. The man I'm assuming the owner couldn't of been more apologetic and helpful. We found him to be a very charming host. His concern for the quality of his products and service COULD NOT BE BETTERED. We will definitely be calling in the next time we are visiting. Grandsons enjoyed his massive muffin.

Trip up from London to visit our student son … Lovely place that does amazing bagels. Fresh, quality ingredients and great service. The chap serving was wearing a mask and gloves and hygiene is great. Student discounts available as well.

An amazing little find. The waffles are out of this world. They are absolutely huge. Such great quality. The service was perfect too. Will certainly be returning again and again!

Popped in out of the rain for a light lunch. Delicious bagels and excellent coffee. All freshly prepared and served with a smile. Quite small but does takeaway.

Quite late in the afternoon, I wanted a cream tea. I went into Mr B's as I could see scones in the cake display. The owner didn't want to sell me one because he didn't think they were very good. I said I was prepared to try, so he said if I bought a drink, he would give me a scone. This was a deal! So I got my longed for cream tea, and it was delicious. I'd like to taste the scones he does think are good if he thought those ones weren't that good!

The waffles here were amazing. We really enjoyed our time here!! The staff were really friendly and food is good value and super tasty!

What a lovely shop! We popped in to buy some takeaway treats and my tired toddler started having a spectacular tantrum outside- one of the staff popped out to see if we needed extra seats so we could sit and eat our snacks, had a chat to our screaming toddler then brought him his own cake which obviously worked a treat

Children had the waffles, delicious and indulgent. Staff were very friendly and could not have been more helpful, lovely addition to Durham City centre. Will definitely be back.

Well worth the visit, Durham needed a bagel shop! Service was great and staff were really friendly, would strongly recommend!

Always good to see a new cafe open. This one does really good mocha and snacks - flapjacks especially good. We'll worth a visit
