Mr Beans Coffee Shop in North Somerset

Not the best service to be honest. The owner swears at his (I think it's his wife who works there), when she accidentally bumps into him)...as in the F-word. You ask for a cup of tea and they give you a pot of tea. Very stingy on the milk for such a large pot of tea, and when you ask for a bit more milk he moans. Muffins cafe opposite is by far more friendly.

Friendly staff at this privately owned establishment, the food all prepared to order, booking a table at lunchtime is advisable.

Visited for the first time, the only time I had different food to my wife in 24 hours. Developed horrific food poisoning that night, very unwell for a complete day and night. Noticed now they have only one star for hygiene for bad food storage.

I normally go to another popular café in Worle High Street, but I didn't realise they are closed on Monday's, so we reluctantly made our way over to Mr Beans café. I wish I'd been before! Mr Beans café doesn't have kerb appeal, but the café, staff, cakes and atmosphere are great, and I will return again. The lady who served us - I don't recall her name, but I think she comes from Lancashire - was very welcoming and friendly. I can highly recommend the battenberg cake!

Coffee like jackals wazz. Only one gluten free cake & it's the one all Café's have. Chairs not designed for a two course meal if ya don't have much' own grown' padding. Sugar etc on the counter like a truck stop. Interior designer clearly liked the 'clinical white' look so if you don't like hospitals maybe café over the road better for you

Have been in here a lot recently, often with the kids and very impressed. Fantastic, friendly service. Great breakfast sandwiches and good coffee. Nice atmosphere too. Very impressed- I’ll try and fill up my loyalty card!

We have visited this cafe a lot for cake and coffee which are lovely and the staff are friendly, hence the 4 stars. However we recently decided to have breakfast which was not great. There was not much on the plate, especially for the price. There was a few of us and we all said we wouldn’t have breakfast again but will continue to visit just for the cake.

If you want a quick coffee or a tasty meal this is the place to go . Friendly welcoming staff and beautiful tasty cakes

Never going to win any food awards but nice enough food, but quickly becomes tiresome when you're treated like a child and constantly told to put a mask on if you dare to lift your bum off your seat. Makes for a very unpleasant lunch. Yes, we all know it's mandatory (at the moment) and we're grown adults, thanks, but you're going to look very silly when restrictions are lifted and customer's don't return because you made them feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. A little power in the wrong hands is a dangerous thing.

Having been for a long walk, I was looking to have a cup of coffee to refresh. I ws very pleased to see the Covid precautiions in place and patiently waited for the gentleman to come and see me once he had finished dealing with a customer at the till. Once seated, my plan for just a coffee went out the window and a bacon sandwich was ordred. I waited a while and when my order arrived the coffee was excellent and the sandwich, on granary, was accompanied by coleslaw and salad. I also saw other food being served which looked delicious and in my mind for next time. Following my breakfast, I had a vry enjoyable chat with the gentleman and discovered that all the food was prepared to order, whih meant waiting a little longer but being assured of fresh food. I totally agree, that it was well worth the little wait to be served with freshly prepared food. I will be returning when we are back in Weston again.

Always a warm welcome, delicious homemade cakes and excellent coffee. During lockdown take away was always available and kept us “ singles” on our walks going. A family run business who work really hard to keep a cosy, friendly atmosphere in this high street cafe.

Love this place we found it during lockdown and every weekend since we go in for cappuccino and hot chocolate and sometimes a cake well a lemon crunch

Been going to Mr beans in worle since it opened, great cafe with lovely coffee and large well cooked menu, not forgetting the home made cakes. At this time of uncertainty they are staying open to do take away food and drink, can only state that this is a wonderful thing for the established customers and passing trade as well, all credit to Graham and Eva and Gillian for all their hard work and effort, if you are near then pop in. They also will deliver to the nearby area. Cant praise them enough, well done.

This cafe is busy but seems to attract lots of very chilled people. They do soup, ploughmans, jackets and sandwiches.

Went there last month and couldn’t quite believe how awful the manager was in there! So rude to customers and staff I certainly won’t be going in there again!!!

Love this place, called in for breakfast this time and it was lovely. Staff are really friendly and always offer to carry the tray back to your table, notjing is too much trouble, they will adapt the menu to suit. The homemade cakes are amazing too. I love that as well as good coffee choices they serve decent tea, I love Twinnings 😍 See you next week!

Fantastic selection of cakes, everything cooked fresh, absolutely delicious. Nice range of hot drinks. Staff are very friendly and the place is clean.

Just had smoked salmon and scrambled egg and my partner had a large breakfast. Prices reasonable, staff lovely and breakfasts were the best we’ve had in a long time.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Mr Beans. I often pop in for a drink and a snack (Okay, cake!) and they are always lovely and the food, which I think is all home-made is delicious.

Thursday is sisters morning for Breakfast,so we decided to call into Mr Beans Coffee Shop in Worle High Street.We ordered their Breakfast & wasn't expecting a great looking plate of food.Bacon,mushrooms scrambled eggs,a nicely cooked tomato not a half cooked one But a softly cooked tomato,sausage all rounded off with a Twinnings Morning cup of tea.Wow people you have to try this out.The staff are sooo friendly,they bring your breakfast to you pipping hot,you even get your trays of tea carried to your table,such a treat.We Will Be Going Back Its a Slimming world cooked Breakfast.Highly Recommended.
