Moza Indian Restaurant and Takeaway in St Edmundsbury

Ordered lamb balti that was packed with onions even more than the chicken tikka jalfrezi we ordered. We expected a nice sauce to eat with the nan but not so. The jalfrezi was good but a little tangy with the tomatoes but a good heat. Nan was soft but slightly under. Popadoms and pickles fine. Asking if we needed plates for the popadoms was very unusual. Toilet was appaling. Will not return, sorry as we felt like customers that were a side show from their takeaway orders.

Absolutely awful service. Ordered online as a special treat for our daughter and given an estimated delivery time. 20 mins after that time passed we called and were told 10mins, another 20 mins past and we called again to yet again be told 10mins! 2 hours after ordering what should have been a special treat, children are upset, everyone grumpy, food finally arrived with not even an apology!!

Lovely food really tasty good delivery just a little expensive but super good food! Shared a main and rice with a side with my partner and it was plenty

OMG agin MOZA are simply miles above any other takeaway. Hot fresh and delicious i have never been able to fault their service yummy

One of the best Indian foods I have tasted. The Special Butter Chicken was out of this world, every bite was full of flavour and the biriyani was the star of the show. Every morsel of rice was packed with a punch of flavour and it hit every right note you’d expect. It has been couple of days since I visited but the taste still lingers in my mouth.

We visited as part of a large group of friends (20+ of us) Staff were courteous and helpful and food was pleasant. Given everyone ordered something different plus drinks the restaurant coped very well and we had a very good evening.

Ordered our delivery. Told 40 mins max delivery We finally received it 2 hours after ordering. Had tried calling, but constantly engaged When order finally arrived, was missing 2 starters. We phoned to complain and was told when you next order then there would be money off my next bill. But took no details of us or our order. No apology for 90mins delay. Food was average. Totally disappointed by this restaurant Will never order from here again. Be warned!

Ordered takeaway as a treat when visiting family in Bury St Edmunds . 3 adults and 2 children . The food arrived very late . The peshwari naan was greasy and had cheese in ! Our prawn meals were tasty but only had 4 prawns in which was just mean ! The poppadums were all smashed in pieces . The chicken dansak was good apparently although hotter than expected spice wise ! Children’s chicken Kormas had 1 piece of chicken in each and strangely had lychees in ! Also watery and oily ! Very disappointed with the meal which was certainly not value for money

Consistently great tasting food that is delivered on time and in most cases early. Always hot too and brought by friendly staff.

Ordered a delivery at 6.20 it arrived at 8.40 stone cold !!! We made 2 phone calls to chase up the order and they were rude on both occasions. We use this restaurant frequently but won’t be using them again after this. Appalling service

Will not use Moza again. Staff on telephone stated 1 hour wait for delivery and didn’t dispatch for delivery until two hours later. Staff bizarrely refused to refund to the card on which I paid and insisted the refund comes from the delivery driver’s float. Toast for tea.

Had a takeaway from Moza tonight and have to say it was the best biryani I have had for a long while and no sign of oil or anything. Just pure flavour and good quality chicken. The picture speaks for itself. Be back soon and thanks for a great dinner Moza.

Just ordered from Moza in bury st Edmunds and half of the food was undercooked. When we phoned up to complain the gentlemen on the food said that we were wrong, screamed abuse at my sister down the phone and refused a refund unless we went to collect the refund or paid £5 for the refund to be sent via taxi. Will not be using again as I find this behaviour absolutely disgraceful and unprofessional.The Naan bread was undercooked and oily and was so was Bringhal Bhaji was swimming in a pool of oil. We drained the oil from the bhaji to a glass and that doesn’t even cover half of the oil that was in the food.Customer lost and will not be returningWhen we finally got our refund they gave it to us in a ton of change

Firstly I cannot comment about the take away service as I have never experienced it. However, it has a stagnant café feel with its clinical rows of modern furniture. I experienced the restaurant when it was empty, but hopefully with more people writing positive reviews about the food this will change. Waiters are absolutely amazingly friendly, and the food is very very good. Nice to see the open buzzy busy kitchen. It looks modern and spotlessly clean. At the moment I wouldn’t suggest coming here for a romantic evening, but if its delicious food that you want together with lovely service coupled with Moza’s 5star hygiene rating, then don’t look any further. The team are doing a grand job

It's not the first time but it is the last time I will use them for a takeaway. Was told 40-50 minutes which is fine, but turned up 50 minutes late, double the quoted time, Luke warm and I had to re-heat it, also one dish ordered not included. I have had some nice food from them, but the services let them down, this was the last straw, so I phoned to say how disappointed I was and won't use them again. The answer was fine and the phone went down.

Booked table for 4 friends, restaurant was empty and frezzing cold. No one else was eating. No music, they ran out of beers after 1 bottle each, waiting for over a hour for food to arrive even though there were no customers. The young lad who served us was very embarrassed and felt a tad sorry for him. Another angry customer who ordered there food a hour earlier for take away had not been given his beer before the bottles ran out, he had already paid for it. Overall we wont be going back due to atmosphere of it all. Food was OK.. Wasn't very hot. Its in a very good party of town, with parking close by. Just wasn't for us.

Can’t say a bad word, lovely food cooked very well and very prompt. Will certainly be using this as our regular takeaway

We always order from here as we’re never disappointed. The food always tastes fresh and is hot (most takeaways we get are lukewarm as we live in Ingham..). Highly recommended.

We use V.C regularly & always fantastic, decided to use Moza for our New Year's eve meal, ordered online advised delivery time around 45 minutes which was no problem, after 3 phone calls and 2 1/2 hours later food delivered no where near up to standard. Very disappointed will not be using again.

We had our food delivered, I have to say the service is very good but the food is fantastic, really tasty, Good value, I would recommend Mosa and we will be back for more, Thank you
