Have used other Indian restaurants and takeaways in BSE but these guys are by far the best. Food is mouthwatering lovely and don't have to wait to long for delivery. Ultra friendly people to deal with where nothing is too much trouble.

Amazing food every time. It is our new go-to for takeout. I've sampled a fair number of the dishes, and although some were not to my personal taste, they were all wonderfully cooked... I think I've found a selection of favourites now and had fun sampling the offerings over time. A+ well worth a try

In ordered through Just Eat and the order was accepted and the web site said free delivery. For a phone call 10 minutes after ordering telling me it would be £10 delivery…get your web page accurate!!

I've lived in London for many years, I often spent time in Whitechapel and brick Lane. I love a great curry. Imagine living in Bury, and waiting 5 years to find really authentic Bangladesh food! Fresh, full of flavour, huge range, fantastic service. These guys have absolutely bailed it! The food they serve is just like home. Thank you! Breads and rice are off the scale, dansak is the best I've ever tried. Mango and mint dip is unique and a new favourite 😍

Best Curry by far in Bury. Voujon is awful compared to here.

Ordered online, delivery was quick and efficient. The chicken vindaloo was excellent, lovely thick sauce, plenty of chicken and wow it was hot and delicious. You certainly could taste the chilli.

This isbthe 2nd time I have eaten from hear and both times have been special. I wanted to leave a review after the 1st but waited to see if it was a 1 off which it wasn't. I love the fact they offer if you would like it spicy or hot as it's more about flavour than head for me. Would highly recommend lamb toka madras spice with your fave accompaniments.

Had their new house special, #42, together with garlic naan. Delish!! So glad I went. I have a warm, full belly.

Would rate zero if possible. Ordered through just eat, shocking service food never turned up then had the cheek to turn around and say they tried calling me through just eat to tell me that they would not confirm as there would be addition delivery charge even though they confirmed through just eat and rather than resolve the situation, they just say it will be an additional hour and a half as they are now busy. Shocking customer service. I WOULD HIGHLY ADVICE PEOPLE NOT TO USE THIS AWFUL TAKEAWAY.

All I can say is that the food is authentic Bangladeshi cuisine, caught me by surprise as I wasn’t expecting to find this level of quality in Bury St Edmunds, it was so good I had it two days in a row whilst I was in Suffolk for work. They are not shy with the pieces of chicken tikka in biryanis, selection of sauce to go with the crunchy popadoms. Definitely recommend this place. My go to dish was the naga Jal biryani, I had to tell them to tone it down a little on the second order, this specific dish is very spicy but so good! I’ll be back for sure, highly recommend this place. Almost forgot, Prawn puri was very good. That bread was fresh. Well priced and good portions compared to London! Shax

Whenever I visit Bury St Edmunds, I always look forward to having a curry from Zeera. It makes the drive from Weston-super-Mare truly worth it. I ask for the Naga Chicken Tikka Dhansak to be supercharged to phall++ hot, and it is phenomenal every single time. It's great to get a super hot curry with so much flavour. I zeera is an absolute treat, which we all deserve sometimes. Highly recommend.

Until yesterday I hadn't ordered from here for many years since it was the Hardwick Tandoori. All those years ago I thought it was the best takeaway in Bury. Well nothing has changed! The online ordering was tricky as the website crashed several times but we got there in the end. The food was terrific - so much better than I've had in the restaurants in Bury, and arrived in about an hour. Will definitely be a regular again.

We have NEVER had a bad meal from Zeera in Bury St Edmunds. Staff super friendly and food is perfectly cooked ...and extremely good value for money. We will never use another takeaway as Zeera never disappoints. First class !

Wow! Our first Zeera experience. Ordered through Just Eat. Delivery spot on estimated time. Food arrived hot and was so good. Really flavoursome, great portions...im so full it hurts, but wish I could have more! Definately returning!!

Been a few times very good takeaway always get enough for multiple meals. Great food and a very big selection. People who don't like spicy food or wouldn't normally eat curry based cuisine should really try this.

Love the food but watch it of you order on a busy night like I did tonight (New Years). I understood that they would probably be busy but after 1hr I called, no answer. Between an hr and 2 hrs wait time I called several times at the two numbers they listed on their website (which had been taken down in this time, I'm assuming to stop more online orders) no answer. At two hrs in I gave up and ordered BK for my now very hungry kids because I thought I wasn't coming. No one answering the phone, place might not even be open...Zeera showed up at 2.5 hrs 🙄. So...thanks I guess? The delivery guy handed my daughter the food and ran off before I could get down the stairs quick enough so I couldn't ask questions as to what happened.

We contacted Zeera as a large group staying approximately 10 miles from Bury St Edmonds for the weekend. The staff were easy and quick to communicate with via email and they accommodated easily a member of our party with an intolerance. The food arrived on time, hot and not a single item missed or incorrect. We were a party of 18 spending over £220 and were definitely expecting the odd mistake. The food itself was also very delicious. Thank You!

Front of house very friendly 10/10 but as for the food 3/10. A chewy Garlic Chilli Lamb in a tomato based lacking in real flavour sauce. An average nothing to write home about Chicken Balti AND boiled cauliflower finished in another tomato based type sauce which was supposedly Cauliflower Baji???... Now that's a first!!! On a positive note the vegetable and mushroom pilaus were perfect and the food was hot but sorry we won't be back.

Waited over 2 hours 4 delivery 2 then b told there was a problem, but it’s ok we aren’t busy now !!! Really 😡 Do not bother with this India takeaway U WILL BE VERY DISAPPOINTED .

We have frequented Zeera since we moved into the area 7 years ago and I can honestly say I can't fault them. We usually collect but have used their website to place orders for delivery too. Our food has always turned up piping hot and on time. The delivery staff are genuinely friendly, polite and helpful. Zeera's website is fantastic and really easy to use and navigate. Obviously though the most important bit is the food and I can't imagine anyone not giving 5 stars for this bit! Our food is fresh, never greasy and great portion sizes. But the best bit? They do Vegan! I'm not talking about chucking a handful of cheap frozen veg into a sauce I'm talking Tofu, fresh crunchy veg and sauces that are no less tasty than their standard non Vegan counterparts. Love this place!

Delivered slightly outside their usual area, to our holiday cottage. Delicious food, still hot and bang on time. Would definitely recommend. Just a shame it's a bit far from home for regular use!

My husband and I had an absolutely delicious meal, by far the best takeaway experience I have ever had. So many scrumptious dishes to choose from, cooked to perfection with lovely fresh ingredients, and very reasonably priced. If you haven't already this is definitely a place to try, I will certainly be returning. Thank you.

I would give 0 if possible. Ordered via just eat, no delivery drivers available but no information passed on to let us know, no email, phone call... phoned to see where order was, disgusting customer service. The phrase “what do you want me to do I’m very busy” was what I got out of the manager.

Best Indian I have had for a long time. Reminded me my visit to India twelve years ago. Absolutely delicious. Butter chicken highly recommended. Keep it up guys.

I ordered on the website and my confirmation stated it should be delivered within the hour..... Ordered placed at 18.50. I finally start to try calling the takeaway at 20.15 to see where my order was, after over an hour of the phone just ringing off the phone was finally answered at 21.25!!! I was then told that my food was on the way! An hour and a half late!! I had to argue for a refund as I no longer wanted the food. Absolutely shocking customer service. I have used this takeaway for years but never again! Only giving 1 star as 0 stars is not an option.

Food was ordered 3 hours in advance and was delivered an hour later than expected delivery slot. Chicken tikka was nice but the veg curry...which was just frozen veg in a bland curry and rest of food was Luke warm at a time of lockdown, this was a time for local businesses to shine. We will not be back. I say to all, please dont believe all the reviews.

We never experienced a proper bland Indian cuisine in our life, this was just simply poor! We had chicken korma that was so awful, way too sweet and no flavour at all other than sweetness, we have had many korma from different take away before and never tasted a korma like we had today, we literally had a spoon and binned the rest! Even supermarkets Indian ready meal is better than this! The worst was staff was busy playing with his phone, he was standing in the kitchen and I was trying to get his attention but did take a while! As I was looking at the kitchen, found none of the kitchen staff were wearing masks or gloves either, come on guys it's the pandemic at least have the courtesy to protect your customers! Never again to buy from this take away, a real put off!

Food was cooked quickly and very polite chap at the front desk. HOWEVER: Onion Bhaji was bang average, and I've had a lot of lamb doners in my life, but this was the worst I've ever eaten; way over-seasoned, and no sauce/salad option. Should've kept it simple.

Not very good. No, very not good.

Rice was nice, but chicken breast was hard and dry, madras sauce good. Also ordered a hotter curry, vindaloo but that just tasted like vast amount of curry powder was just added to make it hotter and just tasted of powder which wasn’t cooked in, it was was inedible and not because of the heat. Won’t be using again.

Tried tonight for the first time as I never knew you guys were there! Food 10/10 I had the kebab and the donner meat is So different from all the other places around it’s lovely!! My partner had the chicken tikka rogan josh and the chicken and sauce were again lovely, she was really happy! will defo be using again

It took about 30 seconds over the sink to drain the water from the wife’s and my curry I’ve never seen that much water in a curry before now it used to be nice from zeera but not any more wont be ordering a takeaway from here again.

Used to realy enjoy it here every 2-3 weeks for 3 years. But the last 2 I’ve had have been terrible don’t know if there’s a change of chef but if so he wants sacking

We generally order every Friday night for our end of the week treat. Normally amazing service until the new owners took over recently. Service has been hit and miss but just took that as new owners finding their feet. I ordered as I normally do on a Friday, only to be told that unless its a big order they won’t deliver it was around about £35 with an additional £3 delivery fee. (It’s the same sized order it’s been for the last 3 years by the way). Said to him it’s never been a problem before and was told well we are busy so it needs to be a bigger order for delivery..... told him don’t bother, and that we won’t ever order from them again. If they read this, here’s a tip - it’s Friday early evening, it’s going to be busy, employ more drivers!! Last Friday they delivered the same order and we had 2 chicken tikka Balti’s, which was meant to come with naan bread and they didn’t include them in that order either. So all in all I would not recommend and personally won’t ever order from them again.

My new favourite indian takeaway.

We’ve been on a search for the best Indian takeaways in BSE for a while now and decided to try Zeera. Really glad we did as it turned out to be the best Indian takeaway we have found. Food is tasty and spicy, and is not full of sugar like other restaurants. The Jalfezi is lovely. The only complaint is that the Mint Sauce is so runny, almost like water, and the onion salad is such a small portion. Seems a shame that they scrimp in these areas!

Tasty food at tasty prices. Staff is very friendly and accommodate your tweaks and reasonable desires free of charge. I prefer different side dish than vegetable curry which comes with biryani and they replace it with my choice of side free of charge and hassle. Great customer service 👍 keep it up !

Please take yourselves off just eat for where I live. I placed an order in advance for delivery. In my village this is the only takeaway that delivers to our postcode and I have a young baby so this would have been ideal. I then received an email saying my order had been cancelled. Would have been nice to have received a phone call as to why. This happened before as they had no delivery drivers and we had to go pick it up in the end and was only given free poppadom and onion bhaji. You should not have on your website delivery charges for villages outside bury st edmunds if you do not deliver.

Hands down the best Indian takeaway I've ever had (and I've had a lot!) They offer a variety of vegetarian options that you wouldn't get in your standard Indian takeaway, and the food is always such great quality, it smells, looks and tastes amazing. Not the cheapest place to buy from, but it's totally worth every penny.

Just tried zeera for the first time, fast delivery and the food was really good. I’ve tried several Indian restaurants in Bury and this has to be the best I’ve had, fresh food, good prices, great service-will definitely be back.

When I initially booked two weeks off, I did not intend to spend most of it, ill from your food. After seeing recent good reviews myself and my friend both agreed we should order from your fine establishment. Oh we were wrong... Food eventually arrives, after several phone calls received from you and the delivery drivers, requesting I wait outside in the rain with no estimated time of delivery, what a mess. The food from appearance did not take the shape or appearance of anything we ordered. However, we were hungry so proceeded to try this mystery meal. These dishes were not lacking flavour I can assure you, and we slowly worked out most of the dishes were a mixture of meats, none of which had much or any sauce.. so quite a dry meal, considering we ordered a mixture of breads which I’ll discuss later to accommodate the selection of curry’s we had hoped to have enjoyed. The breads.. was it bread? I have never experienced a selection of naans of this variety. Oh dear. Overall, for the amount we spent, the occasion that was ruined, and simply the experience myself and my friend endured after consuming your food. I will have to rate this place awful. Yours sincerely, Someone who will not be ordering again.

We ordered Chicken Tikka Balti Jalfrazi and Chicken Tikka Korai, Bombay Potatoes, Saag Aloo, Peshwari Naan, Onion Bhaji and Pilau Rice and the dishes were delicious, just incredibly tasty. We usually get a Moza takeaway or visit and sit in Voujon restaurant for an Indian but the standard of food was just as good if not better from this restaurant. Highly recommend.

Lovely tasty takeaway food good size portions very flavoursome I can particularly recommend king prawn puree & the mixed tandori grill

4 tiny pieces of Paneer, lost the curry and are NEVER on time with your order, when you arrive to pick it up. In fact you will wait around 20 mins extra for it! Avoid and go to Cinnamon Tree, where I had lots of huge chunks of Paneer and I've never had to wait. They give you a time and it's ready, give it take a minute of two. The difference is night and day!

Zeera has been a very good takeaway Indian restaurant for some time and with the demise of other restaurants in BSE they are left head and shoulders above their competition. Had a takeaway delivered last Sunday and it was great.

We had a Indian delivered on New Year’s Eve it was the best Indian we have had in a long time and it is now our favourite and will definitely be ordering from them again. Very easy to order online, great prices and the delivery driver was very friendly. The food was amazing can’t fault it.

Consistently good food delivered on time

I placed an order through Just eat as the website showed this restaurant stated that they delivered to Lawshall for a £4.50 delivery fee. My order was declined and when I rang the restaurant to ask WHY the guy on the phone said he was going to check with his colleagues and then hung up. I had used this restaurant a few years ago while at a friend's in Bradfeild St George - another remote village equal distance from the restaurant and they honoured the order. I will not be wasting my time on future orders. Why state a delivery charge to a village if you do not deliver?

I ordered chicken pakora and haryali lamb - the chicken pakora was inedible. They were really thin pieces of chicken, breaded basically like a chicken nugget. The lamb was so chewy I actually could not eat it. The only redeeming factor was that the sauce was quite nice, which I ate with the naan bread. Very disappointed.

We ordered for 6:30pm and received a call to say it would be here for 7pm, 7:20pm came and no food so called and they said it was busy and would be with us in 20 minutes, at 7:55pm the food still hasn’t arrived we called again and was told it left them 35 minutes ago, we were worried about the temperature of the food and was advised to call on arrival, it finally arrived at 8:05pm and it was stone cold and the driver told us he left the restaurant 10 minutes ago! We called the restaurant and he said he would give us £10 and the delivery charge free, this was not acceptable as I has two starving children and wasn’t going to feed them cold food. He then said £15 off the bill which was half price, I was not happy that I would still have cold food for my family, we managed to get the full price back but only after a struggle, I have used this restaurant before and had brilliant service but I will NOT be using it again, especially as I was lied too and I was told I have to appreciate it’s Saturday night and very busy! Bit of a no brainer but surely don’t take so many orders on? Rather keep your customers happy that refund, get bad reviews and no repeat business?
