Unlike nearby services we stopped here and didn't queue for anything. Lovely sausage barm and coffee ..loo break and on our way .nice place

Parking was good, although several vehicles went around the carpark looking for the exit. Burger King food was very poor, although the cornish pasty was a little better. I would not recommend either. Hopefully, the other outlets are better.

Complicated and dangerous road layout

Most run down dirty services I have been too. Sock on the floor dirty floors. The windows you could not see out of as they were that filthy.

The tables are always covered in rubbish, bins overflowing. Paying a premium to eat in conditions that aren't great.

Absolutely disgusting!! Baby changing facilities look like they've NEVER been cleaned, nappy bin overflowing nappies all over the floor, VERY dirty, unhygienic and the smell was atrocious.

Great for when you're going north, burger king is good. Everything is overpriced to death (as per the service station rules). Not so handy If you're going south.

Moto Southwaite M6 Northbound Services is a reasonably priced, reasonably clean, and reasonably cheerful. At time of writing, the northbound station featured WH Smith, Burger King, Greggs and an outdoor West Cornwall Cornish Pasty stall. The toilets are reasonably well looked after and I noticed that there are options for showers. The car park includes some charge points for EV chargers. It is possible to cross to the Southbound services for a change of scene by way of a pedestrian flyover. For what it is, there is no reason to award the station 5 stars because for what it is, it does what is is bid to do.

We were served by Kiril who was so lovely and polite, I'm autistic and struggled to use the order panel so he let me order at the till. He showed me great patience and was wonderful, honestly 5 star service from him!

Review of burger king. Big queues for kiosk. It didnt accept app codes despite having the feature, it said to see front desk to redeem. So cancelled order and queued for the front desk, only to have them say they don't accept codes when I got there. Waste of time, staff member was rude. Avoid and go elsewhere

Great place to stop for a break

I was in the northbound side of the services at night and met a very helpful staff member in the Costa that was happy to help and would like to say a big thank you , didn't catch a name but a big thank you!! 👻

Excellent bacon butty and latte at Greg's. Always stop when passing. Also excellent disabled toilet and facilities. One of the best we've come across on our travels.

Absolutely disgusting toilets you lot should be ashamed

Ladies toilets all backed up on the right. Toilets on left all doors locked. Soap dispensers near empty and one hand dryer didn’t work properly.

Normal motorway services etc high prices only issue that the male toilets were filthy and rubbish on the floor, this was in the evening and overnight.

It's a service station. Loos were clean. The usual overpriced amenities. We spent a penny but otherwise did not waste any!

Called in to trial there ev charging facilities. Pointless majority not working. You wouldn't expect petrol/diesel drivers to accept the majority of pumps not to working. Seriously need to up your standards.

Moto Southwaite Northbound is a great place to take a break on a long journey. The service station is clean, well-organized, and offers a good variety of food and drink options to suit different preferences. The staff is friendly and efficient, making the stop even more pleasant. It’s also well-stocked with travel essentials if you need to grab something for the road. A very convenient and comfortable stop for anyone traveling northbound!

Lack of disabled parking, 3 bays to be exact whilst there are loads of electric charging spaces now near the entrance. Disabled bays should take priority, it is thoughtless to install chargers where there should be disabled bays

Good little service station. Plenty of seating & away from open doors & drafts. Electric car charging upgraded recently.

Usual services, expensive and getting tired, needs money spending on it.

It was very busy, we stopped off for some food and drinks. The service was good and relatively fast. The toilets were clean, with hot water and soap supplies available. Not bad at all. Been to better ones but needs must.

Quite quiet Cornish pasty hut shut but still plenty of other scran to be had

Obviously poor signage into car park, proven by the fact that about a dozen cars, including me, missed the main car park and ended up in the truck stop.

Nice services on the M6 Northbound below Carlisle. Usual choice of eateries Burger King, KFC, Pret A Manger, Cornish Pasty Co and Greggs as well as a M&S and WH Smith’s. Seating out front and plenty of grass around the outside of the car park to walk your four legged friends. Well worth a stop off on the way to Scotland.

Stopped to use the facilities and take a break. Disabled toilet was spotless.

Such a poor dirty services, lots of units from the high street all at rip off britan prices on steriods!! Also the food offering area is disgusting unclean area. The reply suggests i said toilets were unclean but thats incorrect i was referring to the tables chairs and floor of earing area.

Easily one of the dirtiest places on earth. Car park stinks of urine from those who can’t be bothered to walk to the stinking toilets.

Was a great stop off for food and drinks and to let the dog walk about .

Has everything in one place. Great service station. If you miss them turn off fir cars n end up in the lorry and campervan park as we did, just turn at the petrol station and go back up but be careful as some cars coming out think it's a one way system and take up both lanes

Another disfunction Al and worn out MOTO service area. Becoming more and more obvious with MOTO Service areas that they lack investment. Where else do you when you need petrol or a break????

Horrible horrible horrible.. Dirty every square meter of that place. More cleanless you can expect in any African country. Most of the motorway stops look similarly bad but this one is really EXEPTIONAL🤮🤯😵 see photos of dining area of Burger King and KFC but most SHOCKING are toilets HORROR

Good little stop of the moterway. There is plenty of parking and good choices for food. Ideal place to stop and stretch your legs.

A great spot for a quick break on the M6! The service station offers electric car charging, clean toilets, and a good range of food options including Costa Coffee, Burger King, Greggs, and M&S Simply Food. There's plenty of parking available, making it easy to find a spot even on busy days. Overall, a convenient and well-maintained stop.

Never anything working burger king cold drink dispenser not working and surprisingly it's sunny and the ice cream dispenser also not working, got to be one off the worst service stations . And the KFC is always Closed at 20.50 in the evening unbelievable.

This is our regular stopping place enroute home from East Yorkshire- we stopped around 8pm - and I was dismayed to discover the messiest and most disgusting service station toilets I have ever experienced. Every cubicle I opened had over flowing sanitary bins, with toilet paper, crisp packets, paper cups, plastic water bottles and much worse strewn everywhere! They looked as though they hadn’t been cleaned all day. Management at this service station should be ashamed of themselves for allowing the toilets to get this bad. Just awful.

The baby changing room was absolutely disgusting that I instead changed my baby in the car in the cold. Bins we overflowing with nappies and poo on the bit where the baby lies down. Toilet was also a disgrace. For the prices this place charges for food/drink then they least they could do is use some of that money to hire enough staff to clean the place properly. Never in my life have I ever witnessed anything this bad. I will never stop here again. "Edit". I stopped here again, 6 months on from my last visit and things are considerably worse than before. I have attached a picture of the state of the baby changing facilities.

Sitting in burger king at moment which is absolutely filthy. The window ledges a disgrace and rubbish all over floor. Just seen a rat pass window.

Went to Costa coffee here the food we ordered wasn't warmed up properly and hadn't realised till back at car. The member of staff didn't know what he was doing .very disappointing.thank you for dealing with my complaint efficiently.

We live in Scotland when we go to Manchester to visit our family we always stop at Southwater for a cuppa and a wee sandwich can't fault it

It's a motorway stop. Clean and tidy enough but prices are a bit over the top, especially fuel. It's no more expensive to provide competitive prices on fuel food than anywhere off the motorway

Nice place to relax during a long trip, eat great meals and play games

Stopped in the car parking area, unhitched the 'van and charged up with no problems. However, the carpark wasn't particularly busy so I wonder if in the summer months or on a bank holiday whether it might be a bit more difficult to manoeuvre as the volume of traffic increases. We realised afterwards that we could go to the bus/lorry parking area and unhitch and then drive back to the chargers with no problems, which is what we'll do next time we stop there.

Decent but expensive like all of them kind of services .

The M&S had all self check outs: inevitably there was a problem necessitating assistant intervention, not once, but twice. Why do they persist in making people use these useless facilities. Then the fire alarm went off and the evacuated everyone.we tried to get a much needed cup of tea in Greg's next door, but because the fire alarm in one building had sounded, insisted closing that too. No common sense employed whatsoever. About 200 people inconvenienced, and no sign of an actual fire. We left. You lost a lot of business for nothing. Won't be calling again.

Greggs is excellent for 'food on the go'

Waited 40 minutes for a KFC. We only ordered 8 strips! Absolute carnage, poorly managed, clearly not enough staff to cope with a busy services
