Moto KFC in West Berkshire

Stopped at the M&S for a sandwich and a coffee. Really tasty wraps and good coffee but 5 stars go to the staff who were super helpful and friendly.

I only gave this a 5 star because the westbound wasn't available.

Greggs is horrible for opening on time in the morning. Anita is always late. So many customers get turned away.

The parking lot is surprisingly even, with no holes. SNAP payment at WH Smith. Showers are available after collecting the key at the WH store, you leave your car key. Showers are clean, hot water, good pressure. I don't know how it is during the week, but there are plenty of places on the weekend - you can enter the outer paradises backwards. Cameras are installed! Peace and quiet. There are fast food outlets in the building, a food truck, M&S and WH stores in front of the entrance

Just stopped to use the toilet but had to walk all through the restaurant to find it almost with my legs crossed. Signage wasn't very good either.You would think they would make them more accessible for people who have been cooped up in their cars for miles

It's a good strategic stopping place to use the loos, get a drink and a bite to eat. I find motorway services fascinating places to stop at. A high street under one roof, a microcosm of society in one place, everyone on their own journeys in life. You can park upto 2hrs for free, after that the parking fee is quite steep at £15 so make sure it's only a pit stop!

There is a rank of EV chargers at the far end of the carpark including high speed chargers… and they are installing more! The service area includes an M&S Food shop and Pret. Costa coffee have a drive thru, a self service point and a cafe in the main building. Not my favourite coffee and it was very expensive!

WHY do these service stations have to rip you off? Just pure GREED

It was safe at night, there was a lot of traffic in the parking lot but the space was free at night. You can pay through SNAP. Payment in WHSmith store at checkout. Unfortunately, I did not receive a food/shopping voucher

It's a motorway services. Costa and Burger King open when I went, 9am. Not much else to say really.

Dirty, eat in your car I have never been to a services that is so dirty, all of the tables hadn't been wiped down and it was very quiet. Eat in your car unless you want to be surrounded by dirt, grime and cross contamination.

Stopped here for a break on the way home from France. Decided to stay the night but needed to download the app, which didn't work. Had to abandon the idea and moved on to another service. Then, I got home to a parking fine for £60 for staying 10 mins over the 2 hour limit.

Easy for a stop for refreshments and rest

Something good is happening with services of late. Yes, the fuel price is still high compared to your local shops and same selection of shops and fast food but.. Easy parking and plenty of free EV spaces. Everything looks much more sleek and modern. Electric sockets and mobile charge points. Even several desk work stations that were seemed very popular. Honestly I got a feel of wework. I like it!

Has good amenities. Nothing out of the ordinary. But fit for purpose and loads of electric chargers run by Gridserve who generously fleece you for the kWh rate.

Plenty of parking and hood clean facilities. Nice range of food and drink options with general store type shop. A few green spaces and plenty of bins. Nice stop overall. Happy to use again.

Usual standard for services. 2 hours free parking, additional parking can be paid for. Toilets clean and showers available in main building. Reasonable range of shops and outlets, prices normal for services

Greggs staff were unbelievably busy this morning, but still managed to produce a great coffee a breakfast roll. Well done you guys 😀

Travelodge right next door to moto....food and basic shopping. The Moto mall was brilliant and had lots of choices. KFC 🍗 takeaway was good .. though prices in the shops for travelling sweets etc exorbitant.. m&s meal deal was best..

I dropped in as I needed to top up my charge on my car. Could see from my app that there were plenty of available charge points and that they were high voltage fast chargers. Popped the car on but had a failed connection. Went into the services. Got comfortable and returned to hook up. All fine, back in for some coffee and food. Returned to the car after 20 mins to find I was 90% battery. Off I went on my way. Delightful 😊

A welcome stop on a long drive. Good selection of fast food. Toilets clean and plentiful. Lots of parking.

Probably the only sensible parking lot in the Reading area (apart from the one on the opposite side of the motorway). There is plenty of room for trucks here. The price is the same as usual on websites in England, i.e. £31 per 24 hours. Up to 2 hours free of charge. Possibility to purchase parking with a food voucher (then £34). Clean toilets and showers. It's free in England. Standard gastronomy. There is Burger King and KFC and a few other food places. In addition, there is a shop. Apparently there are sometimes incidents of tarpaulins being cut and stolen... the parking lot is not guarded, so keep that in mind.

Used Costa, more expensive than most but did get proper crockery when requested.

I didn't see single cleaner there . The toilet is disgusting and not cleaned regularly, in my opinion this is the worst moto service I ever went to .

Excellent!! By far the best services thus far on the M4. Easily accessible, plenty of variety of food outlets… Place is pretty clean and well used. This services is found just before the Theale exit. Has everything you need for a stop including electric charging points. Highly recommend.

Typical services with extortionate fuel prices. A few pence a litre could be justified for some of the services they provide 24hrs, but the premium they charge is pure profiteering. Useful only if you need a toilet.

It's a services on the M4 that's OK as services go.

Visited kfc. My wife ordered kids fillet burger meal along with vegan burger and tower burger meal. Staff forgot both drinks off of both meals. Also the vegan burger was Inedible. Forget the mouth biting into it, you couldn't even break it with your hand. Wife managed to receive a refund, but management did nothing to retain a customer and agreed that the vegan burger was super stale. Terrible service

Like all motorway services it's expensive. Quick service at KFC and Burger King. I try to avoid motorway services but when you need food and toilet you have no choice. I've been to better and also been to alot worse

Very busy the gents were crowded plenty of food o unless.

On a Sunday morning, lots of space in the caravan bays, which were well-signed. Costa coffee was exceptionally well-presented, and staffed with a smile. Good variety of food choices across the Moto site. Facilities clean.

Motorway services were fine. Place to stop for all the essentials, toilet, food, drink, fuel. Provided the pit stop we needed on the way home from hp studios in London.

Picked relatives up after their coach holiday. Only saw the car park!

Food retailers advertised open to 23.00. Monday 1st July, 2024, 2155, Burger King Shut, KFC shut. No explanation. Contacted Moto, no explanation. Rubbish. Drive on to a Welcome Break if I was you. It's suggested that it could be a staff changeover, but the manager said they were shut for the night and who shuts for a changeover an hour before closing? Shame they lie instead of using honesty.

Nice place for a short stop on coach trip to London from Wales. We were all able to get refreshments and use the toilet facilities which were well cared for. Thank you.

£11.09 for poor quality 🐀 rat meat (it says chicken on it) in CHOW and warm coke. At least they take cash as kfc’s not bothered. If you can avoid unless you want coffee from Greggs.

From an HGV drivers perspective it’s really poor. Trucks parked around the outside on double yellows blocking others in, showers dirty, multiple toilet cubicles closed and the remainder either blocked (filled to brim with waste / toilet paper) or soiled with toilet paper on a wet floor. And at £31 for 24hrs relatively expensive. One to avoid if you can.

If you are on the M4 it's a good place to stop, that is if before 9pm, they might close the M4 and you are stuck till 6am. They could warn you.

Fine for an oveenight stop on a long journey. It was a good location for us and good value. The service station have plenty of electric car charging points and shops for food etc.

Excellent service, clean and tidy. Great mini softplay and playhouse for the little ones. Wish the dryers in the ladies weren't so loud, scary for the little kids as well as painful for those with hearing issues. The lower level sink was great but no low level soap? No toilet in the baby changing and disabled toilet locked therefore no father-child facility.

Very busy, fast food shop I used (won't name it) took ages and my order was the second on the screen Done loads of other smaller orders before mine Was for 3 people so reasonably big Would not use again if that busy (about 25 kids standing around counter)

Most unusual thing, the men and the women due to problems had to share the women's toilets. No problem except that it was confusing for the lady that bumped into me as I was going out. She was a bit fazed till I pointed out the sign.
