Had my takeaway from motijheel tonight.i been their with my family.kids love the pizza & cheese burger.their service is very good.they were very polite & helpful.great value for money.will definitely order from them again

Really disappointing. I used to come here every Friday 20 years ago. Several orders in recent months on Let’s Eat. Tonight they were late and did the usual of stating the food was delivered when it was ten minutes away. Once opened the food it was bland, cold and tasteless.

Second time ordering, can’t fault them. Absolutely beautiful food, delivery driver so friendly and takes the time to ask how you are ect. All in all 5 stars and would highly recommend if you fancy some yummy food! 😋x

Absolutely terrible, worst take away I’ve ever had. To start with tried to charge £42 for a take away until I checked the screen and realised he had added 2 items I didn’t ask for. He said 20 minutes wait, 45 minutes later finally got the food, didn’t look like much so checked the kebab to see the worlds smallest portion of kebab meat £8.50 for a tiny portion. Kebab was then hard. Avoid at all costs prices are ridiculous and service was terrible not to mention the food.

Ordered early online at 4pm for delivery 20.40 that evening. Received response email stating order would be delivered at 16.55. After 18 attempts to contact them they eventually pick up and I explained we needed delivery at 20.30 to 20.40 not 16.55. At 21.00 I contacted them to ask where the food was, Oh Oh ok we will make and send asap. Food was delivered at 21.38, an hour late. My Daughter had already gone to bed. The quality was terrible, Keema Naan soggy with all filling at one end, Popadoms tasted like it had been cooked in old oil. 2 x main dishes, 1 almost cold the other toppled with a lake of oil. Portions very small.I will ot be using this place again and suggest you follow suit.

Ordered food at 7 O'clock, we were told some items were unavailable and asked for a refund for those items. After waiting some time we phoned up to check on our order and were told it was on its way. We phoned another time to be told again its on its way and they couldn't tell us anything else. At 10 O'Clock we got a refund for the entire order, when we phoned up we were told the order was cancelled when they had first called about unavailable items. Very unorganised and no one seemed to know what was going on, wouldn't recommend! My family is going to bed hungry tonight.

Food was delivered quickly enough but it was so unbelievably bland. Chicken chaat had no flavour and was way spicier than normal, the bhuna tasted exactly the same. To top that off the rice was over cooked mush and the puri had an awful texture and cardboard like taste. I can’t understand why this place is so high rated unless it was just an off day and trust me, I am not that fussy.

Appalling service and so surprised as used to be good. Ordered online (screenshot of order) pick up gosforth at 5:55. Got there no order. I was told it must be at Cramlington. I asked them to phone Cramlington no order. They phoned Whickham and he said my order was there. I asked for a refund as my pregnant daughter would have to drive me there. Whickham refused to give me a refund. I drove to Whickham....guess what...no order, they denied ever speaking to Gosforth. Gosforth then denied speaking to Whickham. What a shame a once good takeaway is such a shambles now and they lie.

I've had takeaway curries from here several times in the past few years. I pick up the order myself - so I can't comment on delivery service. The service that I experience has always been friendly and efficient - and the food is very nice, and good value for money.

Food was just warm, naan bread was missing, turned up 2 hours later freezing cold, will never use this place again, the restaurant has gone down hill, poor customer service.

I had to call the restaurant 2 times. I ordered at 6:28 pm and food arrived at 7:45. Very disappointed. Food is tasty enough but when you are hungry your palate is not discerning. Review is based on UberEats delivery---restaurant uses their own staff

Would 100% recommend this restaurant, we had a great takeaway. This is the best Indian takeaway I’ve ever had, so rich and tasty, will definitely be back! Thank you :)

Would recommend this without hesitation. Ordered late night and it came within 45 mins from order online. Starters and mains were just superb , really tasty. I personally like curries on the hotter side and my order did not disappoint. MotiJeel have been in Gosforth for a long time and there is a reason for that.

Great take away. Set meal for 2 is great value and you get lots of food. Would probably be enough for 3 people! Very tasty. Staff are really friendly too.

Always a positive, smile and a greeting from staff when we enter the doorway. Food is plentiful and flavoursome. Constantly of high quality. We have been using this family-run takeaway for over a decade and haven’t been disappointed. Jimmy

Marchamos varios menús india antes de colocarse en este. . ! Buena decisión fui por el menú para 2 por 23 libras. 00 me pueden cambiar el plato de tomar un cordero y el pollo. La comida llegó a los 30 minutoscaliente y un montón. Ambos platos de arroz que luz y fragante. Junto con todo lo demás esta fue una de las mejores comidas indias todo que he tenido en muchos un largo día. Bien hecho

First time I have used his takeaway. Food delivered promptly however it was only warm. It tasted just alright, not nice enough to order the same food again or to actually use this takeaway again.

El Moti Jheel es un bonito llevar con una selección razonable de las comidas, las porciones son de un tamaño razonable y sabroso.El único pequeño problema es el aparcamiento si vas en coche, pero si estás en y fuera yo supongo que se puede aparcar en la calle.

I think we've tried pretty much everything on the menu but our favourites are the chicken tikka exotica and chicken chilli masala with cashew nut pilau. Nice to get a freebie poppadom and little pot of salad every time too.

No pudieron entregar ya que estábamos demasiado lejos así que nos dio un pequeño descuento, muy bonito. Bien continuar y la comida era excelente, muy buena, el arroz no era en absoluto grasienta, chili arroz estaba caliente, pero todavía probado de todos los demás ingredientes, Bengala curry era excepcional y el cordero Nan era el mejor que he tenido en una pizzería, en verdad excelente curry. Mi esposa tenía un muy buen pasanda con arroz con ajo, también excelente. Si no has estado probarlo. Bien vale la pena visitar.

Intenté llevar esta recomendación para la primera vez hace un par de semanas.La comida era buena y sabrosa. El tamaño de las porciones eran buenas. El precio medio de lo que se puede esperar en otro domicilio tomar india.Un personal amable y un entorno agradable para esperar si están recopilando.

Really delicious takeaway with great service. The staff were really friendly and more than happy to help. The food was delicious, portion size is huge! There is a great deal of 7 course for £9.95. Yummy! I really recommend the lamb pathia.

Decidimos hacer un cambio de nuestra comida para llevar y el orden habitual india desde aquí. Los precios eran, como cabe esperar de cualquier comida para llevar en la zona así que no hay quejas. Sin embargo, la comida era claramente de la media. Mis de cebolla bhajis floury y blanda en el medio y yo no pudimos comer. Curry es bastante soso. Este lugar se destaca porque tiene un montón de platos vegetarianos enumerados, pero yo no estaba impresionado.

I was recommended this as the best take away in Newcastle by a friend of the family. As they are only 5 minutes away I thought we would give it a go. I was surprised that the menu is mostly chicken dishes...why?The food was with us within the 45mins advised BUT they forgot a dish we had requested. I called and it arrived within 7 mins - very good!Overall the food was ok but not special. Would I order again - not sure...

Best around, superb food delivered with a smile. Tried several dishes and nothing but delicious and piping hot every time.

Lovely, fresh tasting food and very reasonable prices. Will recommend to many! (Thank you for not putting the poppadoms in the bag with the hot food so that they stayed nice and crispy! Nothing worse than a soggy poppadom!)

An amazing menu. Every dish was delicious, creative, with a perfect balance of tastes and texture. The service is attentive, courteous and very professional. The food was just perfect.................not oily and heavy like normal Indian food at most takeaways. My wife loved the non veg. Despite going in a minute before they closed, the staff treated us with so much love, it felt like home. It's just so perfect with everything, the classy interiors, the non greasy tasteful food, Courteous and smiling staff. A must visit for everyone!!!! Thanks a lot.

We visited this place on Wednesday evening after finding out about the special offer on www.motijheel.co.uk ,the takeaway is very nicely presented. the staff are very helpful and very accommodating,the food is very good. this was our first trip to this takeaway however it will certainly not be our last.

Recommend this takaway in South Gosforth area. Interesting menu and the cooking is excellent. We will definitely be back to try out more of the menu!
