This time we visited we needed a takeaway rather than a restaurant event. The food was high quality restaurant standard, brilliant fresh food and perfectly cooked. This must be the best indian restaurant in Lytham (Bill Bryson thought so!) The restaurant is quite small but whatever you order will be excellent. Highly recommended as a eat in restaurant or for those times when you need to eat at home or round at friends

Naff food and awful service…expensive too. Went in and was greeted by an odd character who brought us popadoms and then asked for our order before giving us a menu. The food was not good, the waiter watched something noisy on his phone and then had his dinner behind us. The whole experience was just below standard.

The food is the best in lytham for an Indian, by far. Have to suggest the Mirchi Ka Bahar with chicken, it is my favourite anywhere I’ve had a curry. Lived in london the last two years and this was still the best I’ve had! The service is great, especially the owner, who is very friendly and courteous. The quality is amazing, and always make sure to come here when we’re going for a curry. Does takeaways too

Called in on the last night at lytham festival . This was the only place with tables available , all there tables were available . We ordered popadumns , chutney tray and selection of starter , no rice , curries or breads . And a couple of Cobras The staff were freindly and welcoming and the food we had was fresh and full of flavour ....spot on . It was a shame to see this place empty when the town was packed with people for the festival . We will revisit for a full meal next time were in lytham

This was my first visit to Mohshinas, and I enjoyed every minute. The house red was a really nice Merlot, which I enjoyed. The meal it's self was fresh and full of flavour. The service was exceptional, from walking in, our needs were met from start to finish. I shall return, that's for sure.

We have just arrived back from having spent a wonderful evening at Mohshina’s in Lytham. If I could give 10 stars I would⭐️ We were greeted so warmly and looked after throughout with care, friendliness, and advice as I’d never eaten Indian cuisine before. I was guided as to what to choose once the waiter knew what meats I liked. Quite honestly the best night out in a very long time!! I can honestly say all the food was absolutely delicious!! So tasty and beautifully presented. HUGE thanks to the staff we will definitely return for another meal there. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We booked this restaurant for a meal with family after being told this Indian restaurant was the best in lytham. The reservation was booked online and a confirmation email was sent to me from YOYO who I’m assuming handles their bookings . We arrived at 7pm on Saturday evening looking forward to a wonderful meal with family that had driven over especially from Manchester. We was horrified to be told they had not got our booking and could not accommodate us and although they apologised they virtually showed us the door saying the manager was in Bangladesh and there was nothing they could do . We left and went to Redfort Indian where they found us a table even though they were extremely busy .

Eat Out For Less* Was tempted in to one of my favourite restaurants by the Early Bird offer - and wasn't disappointed 😊 As recommended by Sarah, the charming young lady who served me, starter was Chicken Chat on Puree (or something like that - I forgot my specs 😳) and was thoroughly impressed 👍. Main course Chicken Daniya accompanied by Garlic Fried Rice and Peswari Naan washed down with a pint of Cobra 😋 In short, I couldn't fault the food, service or ambience👌

My daughter and son-in-law treated me to my favourite Indian restaurant as part of my 70th Birthday celebrations and as usual, even though Abul was away on holiday, we were looked after extremely well by his lovely staff. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal as we always do. I always take my relatives and friends from literally all over the world to Mohshina's as I know we will never be let down due to quality of food and staff service. Ive been a regular at Moshinas for a good few years now and after yet another disappointing takeaway I won’t be going back. Previous takeaway last month wasn’t good but decided to give them once last chance. Bland flavours, not very hot, chicken in both dishes was tough and chewy and the rice looked and tasted like it had been precooked and kept warm in the foil carton. Really disappointing and had I read some of the recent reviews beforehand, I could have saved myself the disappointment and gone somewhere else. Won’t be returningNo excuse for dishing up food as poor as this!

Ordered a takeaway and it was awful. Chicken had obviously been frozen as it was so tough it was inedible, they obviously don’t use fresh chicken - complete waste of money and overpriced. Rang and spoke to the owner who could do with a lesson in customer service, he refused to listen to me and said he had no intention of doing anything about it and put the phone down on me, very rude man who should not be in business.

Ordered for the first time in a while tonging as a treat for our family. The quality's of the food have gone down hill. Firstly, something we have noticed before, the chips... not only do you get just about a handful for £2.85 but also they are stodgy and cold. Tonight i ordered a Lamb Jalfrezi. This was far too spicy more like madras heat and the lamb was tough as an old boot. My sister had the chicken tikka massala and this was far too sweet and the chicken was too tough and dry to chew. Just absolutely disappointing and you have lost another customer I’m afraid! Can’t afford to waste this sort of money!

I'm not sure why this place has had bad reviews! Had a lovely meal here last night. Service was good, no complaints from us - service with a smile! The food was delicious; I had chicken tikka madras. Absolutely delicious, very spicy and tasty, one of the best curries I've had (and I live near Bradford!) Good portion sizes, not massive which I think is good, less waste if you can't eat it all. All staff we saw had masks on, it's only small so social distancing is hard, but who cares anymore. I'll definitely go back, either for a meal or a takeaway - the latter seemed extremely busy, with loads of people queuing for them!

The curious tale of Mohshinas late Duck Lane now Henry where the Art of Authentic Indian Cooking is the flagship of Lytham Restaurant Quarter. Henry Street is hardly the Curry Mile like Wilmslow Road of Rusholme in Manchester. More like the Curry Smile. And the main man Abul Momin. His positive outgoing energy adds to the entertainment of the eating. And free delivery too with the famous Foood car flying the Fylde with diplomatic immunity to speed cameras. To your door the courtesy of safe passage his authoritative cooking and astute blend of herbs and aromatic spices that will save you a night destroying your kitchen then washing the pots. And try and reserve your taste for their house specials and signature dishes. Many restaurants are struggling in the Lockdown. Mohshinas has maintained a free delivery service every night since the famous Boris Speech. And for food. I just had the most gorgeous Chicken Korma with onion bhajis and a cheese Nan. Totally mouthwatering. Thank you xx

I went here with my family of 6. It was very busy and there were people sat at tables very close together. There was no social distancing at all. When this issue was raised with the staff, they became very defensive and didn’t deal with it appropriately. Whilst my food was pleasant, my family weren’t happy with the quality. The staff seemed poorly trained on dietary requirements, and also wore their face masks on their chins throughout the evening.Overall, not a place a would revisit during COVID-19.

Now really I've been quite kind with this rating but the quality of my main meal pushed my satisfaction score upwards.I called up in the midst of the recent Eat out to Help out scheme so was appreciative that we even got a booking. Upon arriving though I was really annoyed to find out they didnt have high chairs. This was after me stating quite clearly we would have a baby with us when the booking was made.I got the feeling we were pushed to the back of the restaurant but this turned out to be a god send as it was stifingly hot inside & we were near a fire exit which the staff kindly agreed to open.Having the issue of no high chair meant out little girl spending most of the meal in her Car Seat which is a shame really as this meant we felt the need to skip Starters other than the usual Poppadoms & Chutneys.Main wise was a real treat though & I am kicking myself that I can't remember the name of the dish. I'm pretty sure it was a Chef's Special menu option. The flavours & quality taste were worlds apart from your big standard Indian restaurant offering. My partner had the sizzling platter which didnt help much with the heat issue but as someone who can at times be quite fussy she seemed to polish this off with satisfaction. The usual sides of Naan, Rice & Chips were cooked well & helped distract little one who was understandably getting a bit of a handful. The food makes the place & if a little bit more care & attention could be put into the guest experience then this would be a really great place to visit. As I've said in most of my Eat out to Help out reviews it's difficult to gague standard value for money but I felt like I had walked away with a deal but I suppose you have to remember the high chair issue meant we skipped Starters & that one extra drink we would usually have.Get a couple of high chairs guys

I come here for a curry and nowhere else. I have known the owner Abul for a long time, food and service are outstanding and will always keep coming back.

Make sure you ask the price of their poppadoms, we were charged £6.95...when we asked for a breakdown of the price we were bemused by the high cost of poppadoms, to be told the charge was for the sweets that also come with the poppadoms. Dont mind paying for food but totally object to getting ripped off for flour and water, chapatis are also expensive and very rubbery...They cant wait to get you out...do not put your knife and fork down, they take it as you have finished....avoid if you are looking for a chilled meal...

Little restaurant in the heart of Lytham where the staff are quite nice and welcoming, the food is really good and not expensive. They always try and fit you in if they can or you can book a table and go for a drink at one of the nearby bars while you wait.I would reccommend it here.

We had a table for 4 booked for 8pm on Saturday. We turned up at 8pm and was told the table wasnt ready. They told us to go away and he would call us in 20 mins. I dont mind waiting 10 minutes for a table but to be sent away was rather frustrating. I then called the restaurant at 20 past and the gentleman i spoke to said that itll be at least 10 more minutes. This was really annoying. He said the table before had over ran (Not our problem). We ended up calling The Red fort Indian just around the corner and they could accommodate us. I ended up getting a call at 8:52pm sayig there ready for us. Worked out well in the end as the curry we had was fantastic. I definitely wont be booking here again.

We were in Lytham for a quick overnight before heading to Birkdale for The Open. Having had a good walk about the town earlier in the day we fancied going somewhere with a decent choice and good reputation. Glad we went here for dinner. Lovely Korma & Rogan Josh along with Veg Pakora. Great value and service too.

Very small so book in advance. Went for a special occasio., Staff were attentive, overly so at times. Polite but pushy. Not a relaxed atmosphere. Having said that food was good.

The food in this very small Indian restautant is actually very good. Service prompt but the very unfriendly / rude man (owner ?) front of house was a bit off putting. Decent value for money just don’t get a table in the corridor by the kitchen as it’s too dark to see the menu.

Food is good but as soon as you're near the end of your meal they come to clean your table(whilst you're still finishing your meal!!)....they are rude trying to get you to leave as they want your table.Too many good restaurants in Lytham to ever go back to this place. It's the Red Fort for me next time I want a curry in Lytham.

Booking recommended. Only about 10 tables. Courteous staff knowledgeable about their food. Melt in mouth tikkas and some very different dishes. Huge choice. Complimentary liqueur after meal. Central location near excellent pub The Taps, a local real ale institution. Will definitely be back!

It pains me to leave a negative review for this place. I try to be fair with any review I write. There’s no argument from me, the food from The Raj is absolutely perfect. In fact, I’ve never had a bad meal from here. However, over the past few months the service has been nothing short of terrible. They’ve accepted orders via Foodhub and then after 40 mins cancelled AND Foodhub take the payment and then you have to go through the hassle of claiming off Foodhub and waiting days for the refund. Or they leave orders pending on the app and don’t respond. If the owners read this review, here’s a tip: TURN OFF YOUR ORDER SYSTEM IF YOU DON’T INTEND TO ACCEPT ORDERS. They NEVER answer the phone. Sometimes it diverts to a mobile and after more ringing ‘this number is not accepting calls.’ It’s clear The Raj DON’T want your custom. So don’t waste your time trying to order. A real shame, 10/10 for food. 0/10 for service.

Absolutely stunning take away from Buraq this evening. We had two curries, two rice, one naan , four popadoms and three chutneys for £22! Amazing value and totally delicious food. We usually eat in and always find the staff polite and attentive and every dish we have tried has been fresh and delicious. We are now regulars at this fab restaurant

I would highly recommend this restaurant, visited tonight with my husband and Father in law, it has a lovely modern interior and was nice and warm. Very pleasant and polite servers. The food was excellent and fresh. Nice to have food warmers on the table to keep your food hot. We would definitely return when in the area again! Thanks for a lovely meal
