Morrisons Weybridge in Elmbridge

Dire! Cafe looked nice and clean but surprisingly empty. Ordered on the app as the signs asked us to. One roast beef dinner, one roast chicken dinner and two large cappuccinos. Mouth watering already. After about 5 minutes a male employee came to the table. They have run out of beef. OK then we'll have two chicken dinners. Another 10 minutes goes by. The same chap comes back. They have run out of vegetables!!!! We request a refund. No problem - except that there was quite a problem. The staff did not know how to do the refund. They did find out the mechanism eventually! What can I say? Morrisons cafe runs out of beef and vegetables, all of which are on their shelves just a few paces away.

No coffee for months you should really be ashamed I have stopped coming and lots of others turn around and walk out

Hi. Went to Morrisons today.Firstly no carrier bags.? Try to order food said only doing breakfast.1.30 PM Ordered coffee no saucers. NO brown Sugar. No Coke. Forks only no knifes.Sad really for such a really big Supermarket.

The bad experience ever? The Security guard Pakistan one very nasty asking so much why you buying a lot, another day, asked my friend why you keep helmet, another day chasing people around. He is the nasty one ever he shouldn't be there. So many people confronted with him, I did the same he made up a fake story, just to look nice in front the manager, he shouldn't be there.

Came here for coffee and cake, Every single slice of cake was incredibly dry where they have been left out, uncovered for hours. Might be worth getting a second member of staff on weekends as the poor guy behind the counter was serving and doing coffees and loads of tables required clearing.

Would recommend the cafe was a delight for a Monday lunch! We ordered fish and chips and the waiting time was very reasonable. Chips and peas were mediocre but the battered fish was bloody gorgeous. I would recommend this over any greasy, fried fish and chips. Although, the only down side was the table was left completely uncleaned when we arrived. Improved service would require suitable cleaning standards considering COVID-19 on the rise. Fantastic service from staff as well, very friendly and quick service.

Came in tables had food on them and failed to be cleaned. The cafe had ran out of fish and chips and quite a few other foods. Seemed quite hectic and busy. Considering the food not being cheap either I couldn’t say I was satisfied.

Always happy to have a snack here . Staff are courteous . It is a s'market cafe and it is what it is but always been v good quality

We went for lunch at the cafe in the Weybridge store. We sat at the table as usual to get a number but there were no menus. I asked a member of staff for a menu but he said they didn't have any. 2 minutes later I saw another couple come back to their table with menus! Then when I went to order the food, I was told that I couldn't have scrambled eggs but I could have poached or fried eggs. I was baffled so I asked how this could be. The reply was that they used different machines and the scrambled egg one was broken. Surely they could have just done it by hand. But they were all young and didn't really seem to know what they were doing. We then had to wait over half an hour for our food to arrive. We were only having poached egg on toast! And when it finally did arrive it was cold and not cooked properly. The Caffè latte that I had was also cold. Needless to say I will not be eating here again. It's such a shame as this cafe used to be really good and the food used to be great. But since covid and the new menu it has gone downhill alot. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. J Wilson.

I shopped today at Morrisons. The cashier wore a mask below her nose and constantly adjusted it. She was wearing gloves. I politely requested that she sanitise her gloves before touching the groceries. she responded: " I don't have to wear a mask" which didn't seem to make sense. I replied that she was touching her mask next to her nose and could she please sanitise her gloves. She removed the mask, put it back on again, below her nose. She said it doesn't make any difference you have touched all the groceries so it doesn't matter if I touch them (!) She then removed her gloves and sanitised her hands and pointedly picked up each article with thumb and index finger in an exaggerated manner. Clearly she had taken great offence at me asking her to sanitise her gloves. How to make a shopping trip in a global pandemic totally stressful and upsetting!! I am soo disappointed. Don't Morrison staff understand about cross contamination? or even basic manners? If they don't want to sanitise their gloves or hands then why have sanitisers on the tills? You do not offer the facility to self scan as you go round the store as many supermarkets do now. This has spoilt my view of Morrisons Weybridge and was so unnecessary. When not during lockdown we frequent the cafe and it is good, no worries there.

I couldn't believe what I experience today, went to Morrisons Cafe Weybridge for a breakfast and I was surprised of how chaotic it was, had to wait a while to be served just to be told that I had to wait 20min for my food, but my food only came 1 hour after, we are regular visitors of the cafe and we could see how much stressed the staff are, it is not fair what they have to go through. The entire time that I waited for my food I didn't see any manager around or any support for the staff and I found that outrageous. They definitely need more staff ASAP!

Fantastic breakfast ,well worth the money,very clean,polite and helpful staff, definitely will visit again

Not happy tea for 4 but my mum and dad come tea has well the cutlery was very dirty and cups very dirty to and tables very dirty to the staff very rude and not very happy one sandwich one cake one tea no prawns sandwiches it was a complete shambles very Mancke strawberries off if you think very dirty teapot is very dirty but the place was not busy at all very quiet sandwich is very dry and I complete waste of time not very happy at all

I shopped at Morrison at lunchtime and left in a hurry as there were far too many people in the shop and not many are respecting social distancing There should be a more strict system on amount of people allowed inside the shop at one time It was scary and stressful, I didn’t feel safe. Such a shame as few weeks ago the circumstances were different. The government is asking people to carry on with the social distancing and as a main supermarket in town Morrison should not ignore the PM orders

I shopped in the store during the nhs shopping hour this morning. I would like to praise the management and staff for the organisation of the store and ensuring safety of all. Thank you.

Always do my shopping here always fresh only thing is check the dates as I have picked up things before for during the week and it runs out the next day

Popped in the other for a very quick breakfast. Fantastic breakfast for £4.60, and I thought well cooked. Also, you won’t leave hungry. I know that breakfast can be up to the individual, but it was great for me. I am sure though that it can vary from day to day, depending on who is doing the cooking.

Always new things to try and convenient prices and offers with a good range of one off childrens clothes are unique are nice socks underwear school stuff coats everything you need and the rest bakery cakes ect are brilliant and so well made aShop here all the time the staff member Alanna is got such brilliant customer service always a warming smile and would do anything to help or advise thank you Alanna you make the shopping trip a happy one

Morrisons at Weybridge. Car park underground, lots of space. Better than a Tesco for the majority of goods but I still return to Tesco, perhaps its familiarity. Worth a second visit, staff superb.

We enjoyed a great breakfast at Morrison’s in Weybridge...lots of choices with reasonable prices. Was extremely filling and tasty 😋 🙌🏻

Wanted to buy salad from salad bar for lunch - no large salad boxes in stock. Asked if they had any - reply "I have not seen them for weeks". store was almost empty at 1pm - went to hot counter to get some chips - they were soggy and tepid (not hot). Hardly any personnel to help and tills only 2 open (whilst having 2 items) - till for 10 items or less was closed. No plastic bag for live (normally 10p) to buy - now replaced with paper back for 20p and not strong enough to hold a bottle. - Terrrible shame but this store has really gone down the drain. Will not use them again

We had an hour to lose before visiting friends in Weybridge so popped into Morrisons to kill the time. Tea, coffee and cakes all good. Clean and spacious this café was fine.It of course made us have a look around the store and we were very impressed.The deals and the variety in the wine department is I believe second to none.Wish we had a Morrison's near to where we live!

Never again. From the mess up at till. To the manger with attitude. To the food. Wrong order delivered. Toast was advertised as bloomer just got white slicked no black pudding even when I paid extra. Food was warm not hot And surprisingly for a supermarket quality was terrible. Slice of bacon consisted of a piece about 1ins x 1/2 in. All in all never again

Good fruit and veg section. Rest of shop is fairly standard although they do serve decent coffees in the coffee shop. Best priced supermarket in the area.

Don't get me wrong, I love Morrisons. However, they have some problems in the cafe. There are rarely enough staff at the point of sale and the result is one person operating the till and then being expected to make drinks and let the kitchen know what you need cooked, so the queue of people gets longer and longer. The staff delivering the food to the tables are looking stressed and trying to smile. Most of the food is quite good and the staff are very accommodating

All you need and a nice environment with a good car park! The only other choice is Waitrose which is pointlessly expensive

I decided to do a little shop in this supermarket today just for a change of products. All of the red onions were rotting I complained to a member of staff to no avail! I suggested that selling rotten veg isn't a good idea but? Then to check out where a poorly sick woman with a awful cough was serving me coughing all over my food.i did say perhaps you should be home as you are obviously Ill but she just shrugged I then mentioned the rotten onions and she said "Go to customer services ' I replied...its not my job to quality check your food! I've complained to the veg person and you and that should be enough. Never again Will I shop there.

We come here for lunch everyday, the meal deal is such good value and the choice is amazing, the cafe also do cheap good foods like breakfast, there’s always a good bargain

I certainly wouldn’t advise coming here for a proper meal, but why would you as raw primarily a supermarket?

Was in each morning for over a week. Breakfast was fantastic. Every morning it came out fast , hot & very tasty! Was sorry not to have seen Marco on my last day to thank him. Each morning he was ran ragged but always had a smile & please & Thank you's (even when a supervisor was very rude to him , which was totally uncalled for!!) I miss my breakfast's now I am home again!

This is fine for a quick bite before or after shopping. Did no rate my food but my grandchildren's food was good.

Firstly, ample free parking is a big plus for central Weybridge, although I guess it is probably pretty full at the weekend. Bright, clean store with wide range of products. Have never queued at self-scan/pay tills.

Popped into Morrisons on Saturday morning.

Its good value for money here and always busy.

The menu as you would expect is fairly basic. However the food is well cooked, nicely presented and it represents good value for money.The service is efficient. You are limited to 90 minutes free parking here so if you are doing some shopping as well in Morrisons time might become very tight.

It is much smaller than other Morrisons that I have visited, therefore considerably

Morrisons may not be the cheapest supermarket out there but they have a great selection of good quality meat at very reasonable prices. It is definitely cheaper than the Sainsbury's we used to shop at but not quite as economical vs Tesco.

The cafe is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is typical of Morrisons (Cheap quality and tastless) but the coffee was great!

I was dragged here as its near my granddaughters school. So we popped in for breakfast - Big mistake. 1st my daughter had to check whether they did hot food as the last time she came the kitchen was closed - this should have warned me of the rest.

Massive store and too big to enjoy a shopping trip. The store has a big variety of goods but this is my own opinion... I prefer the smaller shop with staff the care and place goods under the correct price tags so it's not a shock at the till when your bill is larger than thought!

I visit this cafe quite frequently, and the music is pretty loud at the best of times. Last friday morning they were playing "heavy metal" and the noise was horrendous, it was ear splitting. I approached one of the mangers to ask them if they could turn it down a tad. After about 20 minutes the sound was lowered, after the track was changed.

Love this shop, clean and the staff are very helpful. Always a lovely selection of things to choose from

As a supermarket café Morrisons has a lot going for it, the breakfasts are great and we were a bit rushed last Sunday so decided to have the Sunday roast after we did the shopping. Could not fault it, great value for money, everything cooked really well, will do it again for sure

Great value, Maris piper potatoes 50p per bag, wow Parking easy. Got some lovely children's clothes, half price. Lots of things in th sale.

Very friendly bright and airy shop ... Staff were extremely helpful. The parking is good ... big spaces worth a visit

Good range of supermarket style meals, all day breakfasts and Sunday / Xmas specials. The food is obviously processed / frozen but no difference there to what you might get in the average non-gastro pub for 3 times the price.

Came here for a late lunch and breakfast when I was staying in the hotel across the road.

We come here often as the kids love it. Meals aren't bad and very reasonable. The steak and ale pie was tender and yummy. Fish and chips also usually good. Full of st George's mums usually, so can't be too bad can it? 😂

I have been here a few times, just for a few bits, but got a good choice of foods. The fruit & veg are very good & keep along time.Lifts from the car park which are huge & park there for free for 90 mins.Would recommend

As all superstores, you can get some products in one but not the other. This store is very good at the latter. Be warned it's like a fridge in this place. The food here is also very good and keenly priced. Coffee and Teas are always good.

I didn't think that the selection of food was very good and the staff seemed disorganised. It didn't feel clean in there either, but then it was around 5pm

Morrisons is all a super market should be, light, airy weel laid out and no loud terrible music.

Like this store no rush great prices easy access & parking.Have used the cafe and found it to be good value for anything from a sandwich to a meal.

Have had coffee and breakfast here a few times and it is good value and the service is good. Quite a nice ambiance although in a supermarket.

For what you pay this is excellent value. Pleasant relaxed setting - food is standard fare but quite a lot of choice. Freshly prepared and decent portions. Nothing to complain about really - we go there quite a lot.

Heard good feedback from friends especially the £4.50 breakfast. Tried it when we had finished our shopping around 2.15pm. Bacon was hard, fried bread so hard lwe couldn't cut it, black pudding hard fried egg also hard. Toast not toasted enough and already buttered, rather butter own toast. In our opion the meals had been sitting under hot lamps. Did speak to staff member on our way out who offered another breakfast, which we refused, l should of course sent it back at the time and annoyed l didn't.

We had just finished some shopping and really needed something to eat. This restaurant is within the supermarket complex. We had our first taste of British Fish and Chips. Very nice I must say. Great cheap food and very child friendly cafe.

Shopping is tedious but here it better because you do not feel hassled or pushed into anything. The staff are friendly and helpful an d you feel that you are just browsing instead of shopping.

Popped in as an alternative to the usual fast food chains on a very wet Saturday lunchtime.
