Morrisons Supermarket Cafe in Fenland

We have visited this cafe several times over the years and it has been going steadily downhill,so much so that we don't want to visit any more. The only good thing g was the member of staff named Olly ,he collects the food orders, delivers the food, clears and cleans tables and any food spilt on floor, keeps coffee machines filled and condiments and cooler units filled. This is not easy when cafe is full but he is always cheerful and helpful even when dealing with co plaints. Give the man a pat on the back (or maybe a pay rise) More staff needed at busy times or cafe will keep losing custom ,menus need updating and food needs to be hot

Went for breakfast this morning. As you walk in you can see that the tables are filthy, they have been wiped and have dried streaky and sticky. The hot drinks machines are out of order and instant coffee was made in the kitchen and was not hot. The service was nonchalant. Such a shame as this used to be our go to place for a lovely breakfast.

Place was freezing cold ....no customers eating.... All day breakfast was cold and awfull..... Definitely gone down hill

The drinks machines are either broken or covered up to stop you from using them, so don’t expect a coffee or other hot drink or a cola etc from the cola machine. The self service machine is out of action. This is an extremely dirty establishment, tables dirty, dirty trays, dirty customer work tops where the cutlery etc is. The floor is filthy, hasn’t been swept all day. If you’re up for a risk of catching something, eat here, because that’s what it feels like. The staff are non existent. You have to enter the kitchen just to get staff attention. Do yourself a favour, avoid eating here.

Every thing that was given to us for the full English Breakfast was colder than the North Pole, may be it would be better to by a microwave Breakfast meal and heat it up your self Would be much better and very hot. If you are thinking of using this local restaurant for your food buyer beware watch there offers for children as they can miss these and charge the full amount. Come on Morrisons you used to be such a good restaurant to use but then that was post Covid 19 and now your staff don't care what they serve and as a company Morrisons don't care or listen, Although your in store Management are very obliging and will give you a Full refund when complaining. To all of you who would like hot food find some were else to eat. TAKE MORE NOTICE MORRISONS YOUR MISSING OUT AND NOT MAKING ANY PROFIT.

Water on floor near the drinks machine for the full 45 mins were were there - no attempt to clear up.    Teapots dirty.  Touchscreen to order broken.  Hot drinks machIne broken.  30 minutes to serve by which time drinks were gone / cold.  Ear piercing alarm left going for 12 minutes on arrival. Food ok when it arrived

Arrived here for stop off on our way home from holiday. Waited for ages to get a cup no cups in the trays. No coffee in the machine. Staff didn't know what they were doing. Think we'll give it a miss next time and go somewhere else. They weren't even busy.

Sadly we feel the qualiy of the food served has gone down over recent weeks , also the menu is seriously depleted . We really enjoy the fish and chip meal but of recent the quality of the fish has gone down , it used to be a large portion of fish with nice batter but of late it has become a scrawney pice of fish with no flesh on it , it is also all curled up .. The menu is alo a bit depleted where has the Lamb shank gone with its mash and tasty gravy also sadly no apple crumble or bread and butter pudding . Needless to say we have decided to give the cafe a rest , the staff are great especially Ollie who is always polite and friendly..

Ordered 2 breakfasts which we have had before. Comes with toast, I slice each. Ordered another slice as in 1 slice and assistant said we had to have 2 slices!!? He said we only want 1 extra slice but she was insistent we has to have 2 slices and it came with jam or marmalade. OK , but only 1 pot of jam or marmalade!! We were in last week had 2 breakfast 1 extra slice of toast. No problem no jam or marmalade either. The breakfast was good but staff are hit and miss. Scanned app twice track and trace but we still had to fill out a form twice !! Staff need training . Morrisons...morons employed here. Shame.

The menu is very disappointing - poor choice of dishes, no lasagne, no desserts or sundaes any more. Come on Morrisons you can do better than that!

We are in Wisbech and as it was a bit later than usual we being out we went hear for our meal both my support worker and I they have very high standards in both CONVID-19 And Staff the place is very clean and nothing is any trouble for the very good staff though now they have made the menu shorter you still have a choice the food comes to you nice and hot and set out good on the plate it all fresh cook and a very good price as well and yes we will be back soon

My partner and I have just ordered and collected an afternoon tea from Morrisons at Squires Gate Blackpool and it was amazing.It consisted of fresh sandwiches pork pies black currant cheesecakes scones clotted cream and strawberry jam and fresh strawberries and an assortment of delicious cakes not forgetting 2 Yorkshire tea bags! Well done Morrisons we will definitely use your cafe takeaway service again soon

Today we are in Wisbech and after a very good look round it was soon time for dinner where possible I try to keep to the places I-we know due to how clean and CONVID-19 set up this gives you a feeling of safety sort of feeling and so you enjoy your meals better

Breakfast here was very good. Good choice of breakfasts. Table service and brilliant prices. Food hot and freshly cooked. A good place to start the day.

Had a cooked breakfast, cooked to perfection not a drop of grease on the plate. Excellent value for money, great surprise. Staff really helpful and polite

ok we are out on the road i wanted to go to Wisbech so of we went had a good look around the town and soon it was time for dinner so i said to my support worker please take me to Morrisons for diner and of we went due to the con 19 thing it is so very different now as wait for a table sanitize your hands (ect) and all the tables are screened off and all the tables are numbered every thing is brought to your table even salt and pepper (ect) to us it was well worth the wait for our meals very nice staff good food and felt safe thought it was a good price for the two meals

Just been to the cafe for afternoon tea. It was delicious but far too much and had to bring some home. Normal price would be £5 each but with 50% off it was £2.50 each. The staff were amazing although rushed off their feet and doing so many jobs each. More staff was definitely needed

My first trip out to eat after restrictions were lifted was here. Not a purposeful choice as was not expecting the café to be open. What a good job has been done to ensure everyone’s safety, all very reassuring. Quiet ambience and pleasant decor with very helpful staff. All day breakfast was just right and the coffee was good. Very good value. Very pleased to have visited. A real treat in the current situation. Thank you.

i wanted to go to Wisbech and to go to go to Morrisons Supermarket Cafe for our dinners so of we went now i feview these places as how i/we find them on the day we i are there today we found that it was very clean only a few tables with plates (ect) left and they was soon cleared the staff was very efficient and our food was plentyful and yes we will be back soon i give this cafe a Excellent as it has blue card parking and easy to get in and out

We have regularly visited this cafe, when shopping, but it is getting worse. I am a lactose Vegetarian, and not by choice. On Friday I ordered a vegan dish (cottage pie) as they advertise a new Vegan range) The order was accepted, but 10 minutes later I was told they had none of the dishes! We eventually sorted a meal! On Saturday we had cause to be there again. It was worse, there were no vegetarian dishes either - I tried to do a mixture of side dishes, but even that was impossible. I am very disappointed with this Store. Management aren't interested either - they reckon they have to have what they're sent/supplied with!The last straw was at the end of the day seeing the chill cabinet filled with sandwiches, prepared ready for Sunday trade! So much for being freshly made! Makes me wonder what else goes on!!

ok wanted a change for dinner so we went off to morrisons now for desabled it is the best with plenty room to take mobiloty scooter whelchair i only review how we find them on the day we are there i/we found the place very nice clean and the tables was soon empty of plates (ect) the staff were very good and very efficient the food was plentiful and a good price we will be back

We popped into the store for something or other round about lunchtime. In the absence of any other suggestion decided to try the restaurant. The service was efficient and the food plentiful and not expensive. We are pleased to give a 'very good' rating

Clean, quite attractive and spacious cafe. Good selection of dishes. All of good to satisfactory quality.

Despite a polite waitress the food on offer is bland and dull. We had a light breakfast - myself a bacon roll and my wife had scrambled egg. Given Morrison’s promote fine local food they failed miserably with what we were presented with. Cheap and nasty , actually we should have stopped at one of East Anglia’s many roadside breakfast vans- a far better choice than this awful place.

We visited on Friday evening at 5pm. There were very few customers. We ordered a beef and dumpling meal and after being told 3 veggie meals were not available I settled for cheese and mushroom omelettes chips and baked beans. When the meals were eventually delivered, my first problem was the beans. They were stone cold. It appeared that they had been put into a side bowl, but they had forgotten to heat them. They went back, to be returned 2 minutes later, still not cooked! The omelette was still frozen in the middle! Then my husband went to cut his dumpling. It was absolutely solid!!! This was returned. That had been the last one!!! Having gone through the menu (that didn't exist!) He settled for scampi, chips and peas. They eventually arrived. The peas were just warm, the chips soggy and warm and the scampi so so. We both left the meals, and suffered upset stomachs that evening. We complained to the waitress, who just shrugged her shoulders. The Customer Serviced girl laughed in my face, and I to date have received unsatisfactory comments from head office. I will NOT be going near the Store in a very long time.

ok hear gose first i only put down how things are at the time with our meals i can not do any other as it not my way restaurant in i found very clean tables was soon cleared we only had to wait around 10 mins before our meals came it was set out on the plate very nice the tables have plenty leg room and plenty room to move i found the staff very nice and helpfull with quite a good size menu to choose from good carpark with dissabled blue badge holder parking

We have had several meals at Morrisons and have not been disappointed with any the breakfast is very good value.

i have been here on several occasions and they always seem understaffed,and the wait for food is twenty to thirty minutes.My husband had the big breakfast and the sausages were missed off.He complained and they told him they had run out,they should have told him when he ordered.Food is quite often cold and the tables are left stacked up and dirty.we used to love going here for food but they really need to sort the staff problem out.

It's a fairly typical supermarket café. Busy, reasonable food, good value but a bit short of interesting stuff. There are sandwiches and hot meals, but as a first time visitor I found the system for ordering hot food poorly signed and rather opaque. There are some comfortable armchair type seats, too near the noisy and active children when I visited. Good enough place if you want a break while shopping, but probably not worth the effort of a special visit.

We called in for breakfast and my husband had the big breakfast; I had the small breakfast with a few minor changes - the man serving offered me alternatives to the bits I didn't want (the beans or toast) and this was completely fuss free. The food was good, though it could have been hotter. We have called in a few times at various times of day and the food usually is reliable. The only caveat is that it would not be the place to go if you are in a hurry as service is often slow (which doesn't bother us, but might annoy some).

There is not much to say. It's good for a price you pay, food is ok, but nothing special in general. It is a very traditional British cuisine. They are also doing takeways.

No sé por qué números de orden son emitidos para poner sobre las mesas de las comidas de la gente porque eran entregados en una manera muy aleatoria, no en cualquier tipo de orden numérico. La gente que se sentó después de nosotros nos sirve primero. Estábamos empezando a pensar que nos habían olvidado y hubiera salimos no había ya pagado.

Cuando se abrió el restaurante era agradable, con una buena selección de comida de buena calidad y las bebidas, pero por desgracia han bajado mucho. Siempre utiliza para detener por un café y un tentempié cuando compras, pero ahora no, preferiríamos en otro lugar. El personal está bien y muy servicial, y el restaurante limpio pero la calidad de la comida ha bajado.

Siempre tenía buena comida y buen servicio. A veces es muy concurrido, así que tienes que esperar un poco, pero nunca hemos estado en una prisa, así que no ha sido un problema. El personal ha sido siempre educado y servicial. Buena relación calidad-precio.

The food is OK, nothing special but ok for the price. There are enough menu options and some fresh/healthier options such as fruit available.

Nothing too special. It is popular among locals so there is always plenty of visitors during breakfasts. Menu is not impressive, but you can find what to get. Vegetarian options included, but tough luck if you are vegan. Quite a lot of self-service elements.

A nice standard for Supermarket Cafes... Get past the usual smell of fish that you get at Morrisons and I am sure that you will enjoy the value of the Cafe

Tried 4 x to eat in the cafe! We have been served rock hard bacon, burnt toast and cold food, several times, very over cooked fried eggs. Etc etc. The kitchen needs to be sorted!

We frequent Morrison's cafe at least once a week and always amazed at how tasty and reasonable the meals are. Today we had gammon, chips and beans followed by strawberry sundae and drinks - £11 for two! Bargain! The staff are friendly and obliging.

This is ideal if you're a bit peckish before doing your grocery shopping. Don't think I'd have a "proper" meal there but the bacon rolls are good!!

I was staying at the hotel next door and the food prices were a little high so I ate her two days running for my dinner after work. The service was friendly the food was hot and reasonable.

Been having our regular Friday office bacon rolls for months now and staff in Morrison's are always friendly and helpful, food is very good and we keep getting extras turning up at the office when they know our routine to join in.

Had breakfast here several times, freshly cooked & good quality product. Food emerges pretty quickly after ordering. Food is very reasonably priced on par with the average cafeteria. The only complaint is the cafe area can be a bit cold, probably because of the conservatory type layout. Not had lunch here but the menu looks good.

We like to shop at Morrissons and loke a cup of Coffee and a snack,so the Cafe seemed a good plan.Hmm 5 to 10 min wait at the Till for some one to appear,coffee getting cold,then found a seat and waited for hot snack to arrive another 6 mins,This was not a one off we have tried 4 times now but given up ,using the cafe.I would point out this is not the fault of the staff,just the lacxk of them.

we use Morrisons alot in different parts of the country. Food is cooked to order so sometimes a delay happen. I only have the use of one arm and they always offer to take my tray to a table. I love their fish and chips and their bean to cup coffee. The cafe is clean and tidy except when very busy.

I go occasionally cos I'm that way. There is nothing bad about the place nor staff, but nothing great either. They do what they do because it's their job. Its dining at a cafe and you do wait longer than one would normally be expected, but after your first experience you understand that this is how they roll, slow. Do not go if you expect to be served and out in ten minutes. I have waited more that 30 mins on occasions and had to ask if my order was lost, but it wasn't , they are just very slow.The food is adequate and that all I can say, but if I keep going back then adequate must be ok for me.My out of ten rating is 5If my review has helped you please give me a tick of approval. always a bit weary of meals in supermarket restaurants! but this one is pretty good. it's nothing special but does exactly what it says on the tin. quick, friendly service also.

We called in for a fish and chip lunch, the place looked spotless and it was busy. Ordering the meal we were told there would be a 20 minute wait for food so we decided to have drinks while waiting. Drinks are dispensed by two self services machines near the checkout. Fazed by all the options and buttons to press the cheerfull lady at the till gave me instructions on the procedure. We waited about 25 minutes for the food which really was not worth the wait. The fish was greasy and tasteless although the chips were ok. The waitress was charming and friendly despite being rushed and harrassed by customers who had been waiting longer than the 20 stated minutes. She also had to deal with people requiring cutlery as they had run out of forks. The staff are obviously overworked but without exception they managed to smile and be polite. But after a 20 minute wait I expected piping hot, tasty food and it didn't happen.

Very convenient for the things you forget. We had Fish & Chips one night and they were delicious. We only went in to buy sandwiches for the next day.

Poor food and atmosphere. Stopped off for a speedy lunch but should not have bothered. Slow service and not much to choose from. Prices are ok for what you get but better to pay extra elsewhere for a better choice and service.

Went in on saturday thought we would try somewhere new instead of spoons or the case, great value for money. Me and partner both had the "big breakfast" and ordered extra toast for the both of us. Along with a piece of carrot cake, slice of chocolate cheesecake, 2 large coffees and a fizzy drink all of which came to just 15pounds! Cannot compete with those kind of prices,great food for what you are paying with a friendly service to accompany this. Will be returning if we want a quick lunch in the future thankyou!

A promise of the fish chips and peas are the only way I can persuade hubby to come shopping with me! Food always freshly cooked, but I do wish they could decide if bread and butter is included or an extra - it seems to be different each time we go.

Saturday night.. fish, chips and peas for £4, including a large cup of freshly brewed coffee that would normally cost around £1.30 - that means an amazing £2.70 for a plateful of food. The fish was home battered and freshly cooked, and delicious. Cheery, homely, caring staff also made a big impact on us. Well done.

The amount of workers in the cafe was a very good sign, quick to view and choose on menu. Quick to serve food and hot on arrival. Always choose to eat at Morrisons if there is one in the area and we are food shopping. Used to be Tesco but they have gone down hill the same as Asda.

This is handy for B&Q and Morrisons itself. Prices acceptable and food and drink OK. Certainly an improvement on the fastfood trailer that used to be in the carpark near B&Q!
