Morrisons Penzance Cafe in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Arrived for lunch at O'clock and told there's no hot food. Have some cake, they said !

Well what a lovely surprise we had one ultimate breakfast @ £8!!! & 2 poached eggs on Brown toast (with extra 2 sausages takeaway for the dogs all wrapped nicely in foil for us )with two drinks came to £18!! & extra points on our more card Breakfast served all day & nothing too much trouble for the lovely staff You can also have it as a takeaway which we will do next time & return to our favourite beach at longrock with the dogs & enjoy on the picnic tables with a wonderful view Food was good & hot ,fab runny yolks the only negative was the fried toast was a little oily but other than that & my hubby not having enough room to finish his breakie We have only good things to say well done Morrisons you could teach a few local businesses a thing or to We will return many thanks

always great and simple food, for breakfast and lunch, you can eat there cheaply and the whole family leaves happy and full

So I ordered a good to go bag which you can collect between 6:30-7. I I got there at 6:30, the man looked at me several times and continued to clean stuff away until 6:47, then when he finally came to serve me I said I have a good to go bag to collect and he "awww I've literally just put everything away" which he did right in front of my face, then when he finally gave me mt good to go bag he had just dumped it all in a box and it was all squashed together. Was a very rude service to say the least. And considering they are supposed to be open until 7 you would think they would still have stuff out surely. Bit of a joke tbh.

Ok, a little mediocre, but be prepared to wait a long time for your food to come out. When ours eventually came out after 40 mins wait (bear in mind it wasn’t busy) they had only put one meal through instead of two. Didn’t wait for another 40 mins just left.

Called into the Morrisons cafe this morning 28th April as we often do when in the area . Cafe good value for money . No complaints there . Was going to shop after the cafe for a couple of bits and was quite disturbed to witness an elderly gent by the doors looking for a basket , he ended up going through the way in door and grabbed a basket at which point the security guy abruptly shouted at him as he touched the doors to get out for the basket . The elderly gent didn’t engage with him and proceeded into the store , but the security guy wasn’t satisfied with that and kept heckling the man , “you haven’t answered me “ and kept mouthing at the poor guy who seemed to just want to get away . I could clearly hear the security keeping on mouthing from across the store . In the end the elderly gent put down his basket and left the store . Absolutely disgusting to treat someone in this manner that has clearly gone through the wrong door to get a basket . Does this jobsworth security not stop to think for one minute the elderly chap could have been confused. Makes me wonder if it had been a younger big bloke if he’d have been so quick to mouth at him . It’s not really something you’d expect from security. Maybe if he’d have got up off of his backside and offered to see what the gent wanted it would have been a sight lot more professional and compassionate.

Maybe suggest to the cook they look for alternative employment. Sausages were definitely recooked a cpl.of times, chips were god awful and the egg was a disaster. No clean tables yet again so we had to get cleaning stuff to clean them ourselves, and guys, it was quiet here so you can't use the excuse of being busy.

Went in for breakfast, good choice of food on menu good prices and clean staff were very good went in twice for breakfast during the week

I have had a breakfast here twice and both times it has been perfectly cooked, beautifully served and more importantly delicious, served with lovely thick toast. The staff were friendly and helpful. A delightful experience. A big Thank you to Penzance Morrisons catering staff.

We called in to do a weekly shop and it was busier than usual. As it had taken us longer than expected it was past lunch time - attracted by the poster advertising a wholesome looking jacket potato we decided to have one for lunch. We ordered our jackets and paid extra for coleslaw. When our jackets arrived, they looked nothing like those advertised (please see photos). They were missing the coleslaw and most of the salad. Given what we'd paid, I felt cheated. In fact had we not have already paid, I would have refused to pay the full amount. I pointed out to our server that it appeared to be lacking several items. "We've run out" was the response. I did complain to central customer services and was thanked for taking the time to provide feedback. No apology, no recompense. All in all a very poor experience both in store and by customer services and sadly one which I shall not be repeating.

Always rated Morrison's Penzance as the best for breakfast. You even get your toast buttered. Not yesterday 9/10/2021. The sausages at 8.10 am where absolutely black could not eat them and the other plates being delivered were the same too. Probably was a bad start for them and it won't stop me coming back but don't serve them like that. Next time if it comes like that I'll have my phone on me to take a picture.

Took me over an hour to get food,Fanta tasted like water,they didn’t have a clue what they were doing

Lunch was delicious. My fish and chips and peas were so freshly cooked and well presented, with superb crisp, non greasy batter coating thick, succulent fish. Husband's pie, mash and gravy also delicious. Well worth the money. Will definitely revisit, as locals, as pre Covid, not had the best meals here, but today was a joy. We'll done, cooks and staff.

A good range of meals all reasonably priced. The room is light and tables are spaced out. Clean and organised

met up with friend for a snack before Christmas rush. Wonderful snack less than a tenner for both of us which was really enjoyable. Clean environment with friendly staff. Happy Christmas
