Morrisons Loughborough Cafe in Charnwood

The cafe in Morrisons Loughborough really needs more staff. The staff are so short staffed and it really is starting to tell. The wait for food is getting longer and it is not nice when it arrives. The staff work so hard and it isn't fair when they get all the negative comments when they are doing their best. Coalville store is so much better. Come on management open your eyes and get the cafe back on its feet. Look after your staff and customers and they will look after you. They are not just a payroll number.

Is it me or do morrisons loughborough let immigrants sleep in the carpark now everytime we go shopping they are there at some point 2or 3 in a car sometimes this is not good it needs stopping

So we have not long left here and I can honestly say we was not impressed with the service or the food. We was sitting and waiting for the food to arrive after 30 minutes I went up and asked how much longer the food was going to be the young lad spoke to his colleague & she had responded with il start it now!! So another further 10 mins we had to wait not ideal at all in my opinion I just couldn't understand the logic behind 'i will start it now' as the cafe only had 3 other tables occupied it was not busy. The food then arrived my eggs looked plastic & my daughters mash in her words looked dry and wouldn't eat it. It almost looked like dried smash you get in the packet. The cafe needs attention!! I would like to thank the member of staff who overheard me and requested I was to be refunded for our food, so thankyou to lauren! Very much appreciated 👏🏼

Went for dinner about 2.30 in the afternoon wanted to order 2 fish and chips only to be told by a rude young man that i could only have breakfast bits as they had been busy and then went on to say we don't have any fish any way.The place was a mess not sure if they are short staffed or not.Don't think i will be bothering again.

I wrote a review last Christmas saying how lovely it was, unfortunately this year I can’t say the same. My husband & I ordered the Christmas dinner. The only hot food on the plate was the mashed potatoes & the Brussels sprouts, everything else was stone cold I’m afraid.

What is happening here? During the summer, it was great. but we have been several times recently, there are not sufficient staff to ensure quick service both at the till and serving food. The staff were polite but under pressure and not happy. Food was adequate, but had to take a sausage back as it was burnt. Waited 30 minutes for dessert. Plates were collected from the tables but the tables were not wiped afterwards. It needs a good manager to ensure it improves, you may well lose customers if it continues.

We had fish chips and pea’s. They were the best we have had for a long time. Those ladies in the kitchen certainly know how to cook fish and chips and I told them so! The fish was fresh to not frozen. It is very much improved since we last visited the cafe. We will definitely be going again. Thank you all concerned. Brenda and Chas 🐟🍟❤️😋😋
