Morrisons Cafe Guisborough in Redcar and Cleveland

Never seem to have many offers.

Staff were friendly and we found everything we wanted. Good parking also was much appreciated

Morrisons supermarkets there's something for everyone at a reasonable price

Supermarket was well stocked, found everything I needed and quick throu the till. Great. Nice latte and scone in the cafe

Good staff, but the new self serve scan system is all to pot, ended up leaving four items with staff after they failed to sort it out!

All Morrisons stores feel slightly down at heel and poorly lit. This one is no exception. Fulfills a purpose, but Guisborough has other, better, stores.

Always a good idea to go to Morrisons, whichever town your in, normally Redcar, but gave Guisborough a visit....watch out for car park time limits (3hours)....

Tried the new Guisborough Morrisons Cafe, completely new setup but doing Ok for local shoppers for a break with a friend!

The worst cafe ever,staff surly,sandwiches deplorable half hour wait for food Will never come back in fact Guisborough itself is dying on its feet

Discussing ordered avocado poached eggs on brown toast they had no poached eggs they never have everything on the menu ever so went for scrambled she brought it it was on white toast so asked her to change it to brown they just scrapped it off onto brown bread and charge almost 5 pound for doing it they need some staff with catering expense because they clearly have non

A great store. However. I always take my thin plastic bags there to place in their recycling bin. Once out of my last three occasions, the bin was too full to add any more. Please monitor more closely

Nice store. Decent parking to the rear. Not as big as Redcar store, and noticeably less 'offers', a pleasant shopping experience nevertheless.

I've bought food several times from the shop that has been sold past it's use by date, or is just spoiled even if it's in date I bought some wagyu burgers yesterday and they are brown and have a bad smell to them already.

Not a bad place but i use it for parking honestly and only buy a few bits and bobs when there...

Still a fabulous place to shop for weekly groceries.

Mostly self service. Personally do not like these changes, not efficient and effective in any way. Awful

Miserable morrisons we often called it as everytime we go in there the staff always look miserable even family members who work there are the same

I really like the vegetarian options in Morrison's cafe. I had light one - tomato soup and garlic bread - very fresh & delicious. I am surprised why there are not many such cafes available around in middlesbrough. Will come back for sure when in guisborough.

I just wish they would insist suppliers stop using palm oil in all the baked goods and most peanut butter (Morrisons and Meridian are palm oil free). Every manufacturer does it to make a cheaper product, but really, do we need cheap cakes and biscuits at the expense of habitat for orangutan? Why do we expect these nonessentials to be cheap? They're not even healthy, so should be made more expensive. Also, I dislike the overreliance on self-service tills which more often than not needs someone to help out with an error. The remaining 3 checkouts are usually busy. They've 'fixed' a problem that never existed for us shoppers (to reduce staff costs obviously). And why don't they stock free range chicken? I know they have to relabel when there's bird flu, but they've been only selling factory farmed poultry for a couple of years, so I go elsewhere for chicken now. Rant over.

Definitely a good store in Guisborough, also has good café, although service in café can be slow.

Excellent staff, but miss managed as not enough manned checkouts. Management insist on customers checking out there goods, themselves, which is causing job losses for checkout operaters.

Didn't going just net sine 1 in the car park but Morrisons all the same no staff and no stock on the shelves half the time

Very busy due to the time of year but the staff were amazing! Every single member of staff had a smile on their face and appeared to be loving their jobs! Happy and helpful! A wide range of different items was available and shelves were stocked well. Security bloke was also brilliant and helped with an envelope situation whilst supporting the staff and ensuring the safety of the store!

Great supermarket offering not only an easily accessible store but also a great place to chill in their coffee shop.

It's fine, it doesn't have enormous choices of some stuff, but that is down to its size. I personally do not like the self check-out, but I can put up with it. Ok using self service more now.

They say they open at 7am but good luck buying even the basics at that time. Today there was no fresh meat & no fresh bakery produce - both areas were completely empty. About 50% of the shelves had not been restocked from yesterday either. The kiosk was also closed & no tills were open so you had to use self-service. I left at 8am, an hour after they opened & it still looked like a 1970s Soviet shopping collective - I think I saw Khrushchev looking for cheese strings. If you open at 7am, you need to be ready at 7am.

The aisles in the supermarket are far too close. Sometimes the music is too loud my dad can't hear what is going on as he's hard of hearing

Best fruit scone anywhere, its not about the size its about the quality of the scone. Lush!

Parking bays are small, prepare to have car doors dented.

Went into the cafe For the first time since opening The all day breakfast was the choice of meal It was a shocking meal The sausage was deep fried soaked in grease The egg was still raw The bacon Was scares And the nuked pot of beans We're on fire So I took it back and said thank you but I don't think I will eat that Only to be scowled at by the staff Won't be going back and advice (avoid)

What used to be first choice for no nonsense big shop is going downhill fast with often dismal choice of veg and unexpected things inexplicably missing all over the place. Increasingly more expensive that two nearby rivals too. They have also gone with current herd vogue of removing most proper till checkouts so those have big queues while about a dozen DIY ones stand unused in a large empty area as a couple of people fumbling about with a few things in a basket or some school kids buy two bags of crisps.. They will need to reverse this stupid decision. If you do a big shop the proper checkouts are a stress point as it is without taking twice as long being forced to do it yourself so they can save about 50p.

Difficult to find the car park. Need more signs.

The aisles are so narrow that as soon as someone stops to look at a shelf the entire aisle is blocked. They are also so high it makes it feel more like a mine than a market.

Staff friendly, including security. More expensive than redcar store but much cleaner I noticed.

Went into the cafe with my partner and grandma and grandad. We was served by a lovely waitress. The waitress (short purple hair) who brought our food over didn’t look happy to be working here and had a face like a slapped backside. The chips was lukewarm, the sausages what my partner had tasted like cardboard

Easy parking with plenty of blue badge spaces though as always several were occupied by vehicles not displaying one. Friendly helpful staff

Absolutely excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and the food was superb. Kids ate free with an adult meal, absolutely brilliant. We liked it so much we visited three times during our two week holiday and everything was good on all three visits.

This Morrisons store is OK, however long narrow isles make it feel cramped and oppressive... The staff are generally very welcoming and helpful. Limited choice of certain items as its not a huge store. Good parking facility at the back of the store

Staff horrible , shouted at me and the people who came with me just for ordering food with the QR code on the table . Absolutely terrible service , condiments chucked , to reiterate terrible staff . Loyal Customer lost . What a waste of time !

Approached by security today and was told I could not bring my assistant dog in store l just said she is allowed anyware she was OK about it but I do think better education for people would help

Clean and busy, decent parking. But .....best of all, the wine is great and somewhat cheaper than another well known store. The added bonuses are that Morrisons sell DVDs and have helpful staff. What is not to like?

Shelf's were pretty empty with alot of out of stock

We have been in the middle of moving house 🏠 for a few months know - your fresh produce employees were very kind and helpful by keeping lots of empty banana boxes for us to use with our packing - I just did not want their helpfulness and going above & beyond their daily duties to be noticed and appreciated and also for me to let them know how happy we are for their helpless. Store clean and tidy with helpful friendly staff

Ordered my click and collect big Christmas shop several weeks ago and collected on 23 December. Served very quickly and the lady also helped me to pack. Sadly over 20 items were either missing of substituted. Basic biscuits instead of yummy white, milk and dark chocolate ones and no streaky bacon!!! My pigs will have no blankets this year. Surely they can't have run out of streaky bacon. Also, what's the point in ordering way in advance if that has no impact on stock and restocking levels.

Lots of empty spaces in the veg area but at the time of review this is quite common for most supermarkets. Surprisingly however it was seasonal veg that seemed short supply. A clean store although the porch areas could have done with a tidy. Not the most obvious entry either from the car park I used. But all in all a typical Morrisons

Excellent service. Popped in for new wiper blades, side light bulb and check the anti freeze. Always happy with Cuts.

Clean and well set out. Well stocked with the provisions you could need .

"Small and friendly". Decent stock for a "smallish" supermarket, like many at the moment a number of items missing from the shelves - although this is improving. Be wary of drainage gutter in car park as you turn right and first right. Had not used this part of the car pack before and my trolley wheels got stuck in the gutter and the trolley toppled over, causing me some strained muscles and embarrassment - but thankfully missing any of the cars. Luckily only damage from a full shop was 2 eggs - omelette later 😄

Haven't been to Morrisons for ages because it used to be rubbish but pleasantly surprised at how much better it has got, some good products, pizzas are good, will visit again

Excellent service, Zack even offered to bring my tray of hit drinks to the table and more milk if I need it. We came for a treat lunch out and lovely meal. Today 10/8/21 Gareth realising I had wanted decaff tea offered to remake my latte using decaff coffee. He brought sugar to the table too.
