McDonald's in Redcar and Cleveland

Went through the drive through and ordered just one meal that includes dips, guess what wasn't in the bag even though it's printed on the label on the bag....the dips. Something is wrong every time I use the place, it's my own fault for going back. It's any easy job just take some pride in what you do 🙄

Absolutely shocking manager trew. chiken nuggets at me so I said you cursing for a smack in the mouth and jumped over the counter and sent her to next week she went flying out the window leaving lodes of glass behind I walked out blow the macdonalds up won’t be coming here again

Just wifi is terrible in every mcdonalds. They want you to use app but you can't as WiFi doesn't work . .

Very very slow service. McDonald's 'fast food' has turned into slow food.

First visit here in about a year and it will definitely be the last! Ordered two 'wrap of the day' on the screen. Waited as close to the counter as I could due to several delivery guys leaning on it and talking. Totally ignorant of customers. I waited, and waited until after about 15 minutes a very pleasant young man (who has the Ghostbusters car) asked if he could help. He went into the kitchen and found my order, which I could then see had been ready for quite a while. The drive thru wasn't even busy. This place shouldn't be reliant on one member of staff checking others have done their job. The toilets were also disgustingly filthy. No wonder there are hardly any customers going in there now.

Horrible service I received the wrong order and when I spoke with the attendant she said she couldn’t do anything. Totally unacceptable and unprofessional, rubbish service customer. I want a refund right now!!!!

Awful, ordered via the App, to pick up. Took the food home, order was incorrect and the food we did receive was cold and soggy. Took the best part of an hour to sort as I had to go back to the restaurant and was only offered more awful food, which I didn't want...no refund off was offered...Awful experience in all!

Just needed a quick meal,it's cheap and cheerful, the only problem I had was the time it took from ordering to receiving my food was nearly 30 minutes, mcdelivery seems to take priority, very annoying as there was 3 people waiting before me and 5 delivery drivers in and out constantly

Not really sure anyone uses Mcdonalds for the atmosphere, however out of the 2 staff we were served by, one was great (Claire) the other not so. Food was standard, all be it sloppily put together

I ordered a Big Mac meal with coke and a double cheeseburger with bacon meal with coffee, it came to £13.08. It was to go and I live 15 minutes drive away. When I got home all I had was a Big Mac meal with coffee. All of this was cold not cool not warm, stone cold including the coffee. I’ve been here before there is only one young lad working that actually smiles and is helpful, the rest are pretty miserable. Do McDonalds actually do any quality control on their outlets?

Love it here. Always clean. The ordering machines work, staff maybe young, but so polite. Always makes us smile when the Ghostbusters 👻 car is in the car park. One of the best outside seating areas in a McDonald's.

Affordable price and friendly atmosphere here Parking and toilets are available. Dine in and take-away are too available. Kids friendly and menu adds upto it that's really great 😃. If you near by take a walk in and enjoy 😊

Waited absolutely ages for food, the drinks which were milkshakes and Frappé were all runny and melted, obviously done long before the food, twice this has happened in the last 2 weeks, if you complain you just get the manager arguing with you 🤷‍♀️ (from personal experience)

Amazing and efficient team!! Managed to provide a last minute big order of 80 burgers within 20 mins to feed a very hungry and tipsy wedding party!!! Big thank you guys from Atul & Ellie wedding crew!!!

A very clean mcdonalds with lovely friendly staff

Ordered on the click and collect service. Didn’t have to wait very long for our food to come out, nice and hot too. When opened one of the Happy Meal boxes there were only 3 chicken nuggets instead of 4. We went in and made the staff aware. They were so apologetic and gave us another Happy Meal to go with the original! Really wasn’t expecting that! One very happy little boy who ended up with 7 chicken nuggets. Mistakes happen, the important part is how it’s dealt with. Great service guys.

Very slow. Ordered 3 x regular meals at drive through and now sat in car park for 20 minutes as I type, waiting for food, along with several other cars. This is not a one off either. Another annoying thing about this Mcdonald's is they have a tendancy to serve multiple cars on one lane of the drive through, leaving the other lane waiting. Consistently poor.

How hard can it be to get a simple order of 3 cheese burgers and 3 fries right but unfortunately they couldn't. But when you drive home and the order is wrong they ask you to drive back .unbelievable.

Worst McDonalds in the area! If the staff member who owns the ghost buster car isn't there you're guaranteed terrible service. Turn around, I would rather drive to Redcar. Always slow, always cold, always wrong. I don't usually leave reviews but today my daughter's cheeseburger didn't even have the top of the bun on it. However... if the previously mentioned staff member IS there you will receive excellent service with a smile. Maybe the rest of the staff should take notes.

Top service by the tall young man with glasses (wasn't able to read the name badge) came straight over and asked if I wanted to place my order at the counter. Sorted very quickly. Gave me a number said he would bring my food over. In a short time food was delivered to the table. Got sauce as well. Best service I've had at McDonald's This is on my motorcycle route to Whitby from York. Will definitely call in again

What a fella.. he really makes the place, it's worth a visit just to witness his exceptional customer service! And general posative approach Whenever I go (more often than I care to admit) if he is in. the place appears to run like a Swiss watch.

Staff at drive in too busy playing on phone to take my payment. Charged for an extra toy in happy meal despite asking for 1 or receiving it. Food just rubbish and greasy, don't use this place but came as a 1 off, disgusting never again.

Uber told me I should leave a review! I ordered a McDonald’s before I started my break to start my tea break yesterday via Uber Eats for myself and my dad. I wasn’t in the area and I wanted it to be on the way to my home by the time I got home. I don’t get much time on my breaks and I was starving. I text the driver once it said on the app they where collecting, I asked him if he would ask the staff if everything was there because lately in store and delivery I’ve had loads of issues with items missing and giving them chance upon chance I was disappointed. The driver said it was not a problem, he said that a manger told him that he had put it together himself and assured him that everything was there. The bags were sealed on arrival and I thanked the delivery driver. When I opened the bags my 2 large fries were missing and my share box of cheese and herb melts were too! 😡😡 Not only was I really annoyed that my food was missing but what I did get was inedible and tasted nasty 🤢 I wasted my money again! I was annoyed that the delivery driver was lied too. Because of the amount of refunds I’ve received I was unable to get a refund for my food this time. NOT HAPPY AT ALL

I use McDonalds quite a bit and as I was in the area I used this branch. Amazingly tho the same meal I always order so I know the price with no extras (double cheeseburger with fries & 6 nuggets) I was charged £8:17 so asked why and was told by first person. Prices must have gone up ? Second person I asked just shrugged his shoulders & third person just said same as first ohh prices must have gone up ? Shouldn’t all branches charge the same ? Lack of help or interest was disappointing so will not return.

I am furious!!!!! I’ve just been for a nice 15 minute sun bed and think I’ll treat myself to a McDonald’s. Little did I know when I got here I would be waiting almost an hour for a single burger. Shocking behaviour it has really ruined my day. It will take me a long time to get over this as McDonald’s is usually my go when I want FAST food.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC McDONALD'S. Food, a good example of what the company can do. Exceptionally clean, quick service and staff more that helpful, especially the guy with the Ghostbuster car who went out of his way to see that our experience could be as good as it could be.

Generic mcdonalds there all pretty much exactly the same nothing special, personally the didn't miss anything in my order and I got it very fast but you pretty much allways do at mcdonalds...

Clean ,plenty of seats, food same as all McDonald's tastes fine, but again like all McDonald's the food is never hot.

I was thinking of giving up on eating at Macdonalds after several poor experiences at other venues lately. Skelton has restored my faith. Food hot and freshly cooked and my regular hot chocolate was back to the delicious creamy chocolatey drink I thought had been forever substituted for the watery brown slop I’d been served at other macdonalds. Great clean venue too. Thank you!

spent £20 here today, not only do they get the order wrong delivering it, but then expect u to drive to mcdonald’s to get what yr missing, does this not defeat the point of delivery?? Probably the worst service I’ve ever had in a McDonald’s. 23 MINUTES for a table service for two Big Mac meals and the restaurant was seriously only one-third busy. Grizzly response from the manageress when I queried after 15 mins. Guess where we won’t be coming again.

I like McDonalds. When the staff get it right, it's a good place for breakfast, not flashy, just reasonably decent food at a competitive price. I emphasise the bit about getting it right because if you order anything that requires an amendment, I'm always on tenterhooks until it arrives. In the past two weeks, I've visited three different McD's and ordered the same breakfast for my wife and I. Two establishments got things wrong, but good old Skelton delivered exactly as ordered. I'm writing this review (based on last weeks visits) as I'm awaiting my breakfast in the Skelton branch. Guess what, yes that's right. My order arrived wrong. I HATE MCDONALDS AND EVERYONE WHO WORKS THERE! Weeeeellll, I've been back to my beloved Skelton branch and my order was perfect. ALL IS FORGIVEN.

This is by far the worst McDonald’s in the north east, chips are always shocking literally not even cooked properly at all. Also always half a box full, burgers always look like someone’s had an arm wrestling match on top of them thrown together again cold, they have no care for the food that goes out to customers and when your paying 20 quid for food for two people you expect it to atleast be edible. I think it comes down to the staff that are working there couldn’t run a bath let alone a McDonald’s just no care for what goes out, if you take anything back they give you attitude like said they just don’t care Avoid this place

The food here is quickly served but the flavor of the chips is inconsistent and often they may be flavorless of mildly cold. The environment is clean and nice. The customer service is nice

There are dotted around the country some Maccies that are a cut above, this is one, polite staff, fast service and clean and tidy. Lack of Deliveroo peasants certainly helps.

Seen one, seen them all. Table not cleaned, waited 25 minutes for meal. But as in most, staff so polite and helpful. Many thanks to the young man who went searching for our order.

My Big Mac yesterday, now I know they’re prone to mistakes & missing items etc… but I’ve never seen anything like this, surely someone was having a laugh?? 😂 you can’t get it that wrong, who put that in a box & thought it was ok!

Nearly all the time food is missing and to get a refund is more of a hassle than its worth won't be back. Hopefully we might get bk or subway soon as they have a monopoly over the people with piss poor service

Can be a bit of a long wait at core meal times and sometimes like anywhere mistakes sometimes can be made, but all the staff are extremely professional and will bend over backwards to ensure you leave the place happy.

Ordered a double quarter pounder, it looked very sad, one slice of pickle and I only just found a piece of onion. None of the sauces I selected were delivered, not the drivers fault, packaging is nicely sealed, so McDonald's being lazy or useless? (This has happened numerous times before). The Apple pie had a discard time of 15:48, my (phone app) order was around 6pm. It is so nice to see they are keeping such high standards at the Skelton McDonald's.
