What the ??? Unbelievable. Visited just prior to Xmas with grandson. One member of staff an duty doing everything ( probably even the cooking as well ). Drinks machine out of order. Staff member was in heated argument with unhappy customer. Waited for 10 minutes to order with no one else in the queue. Eventually gave up and walked out. Perhaps I am missing something - maybe it was closed.?????

Queued up patiently whilst junior staff member struggled with the screen serving a customer. Ten minutes later before we got to ve served she announced to the people in front of us"no more hot food". At 2:30 in the afternoon. What a joke!!. Another reason for me to avoid this place in future.

I can honestly say that I've never been to a café like Morrison's Stockton Heath. After an early morning barber's appointment, I decided to pop in for a cup of tea and a snack. What I didn't expect was a café experience like no other, for all the wrong reasons! In most cafés, you go to the till, order, then wait to receive your food. Right? Apparently not according to this branch of Morrisons. Here, you have to pre-order your food on a little screen, then collect it yourself! As a result, I could quite easily have pretended to order a cake (which are left waiting for you on the side) then helped myself to one, and the staff would have been none the wiser! All I ordered was a cup of tea, which luckily set me back only £1.20. However, my brew was ruined by the milk jug. I couldn't get any milk out of it, so I unscrewed the lid slightly. Upon doing this, almost all of the milk flowed into my mug, causing the tea to spill everywhere and causing the colour of my drink to be indistinguishable from paper! This is an utter disgrace and my tea was virtually undrinkable. I only drank it because I've paid and I needed caffeine! And where were the staff to help me out? Oh yes, in the dining room, having a chat! Yes, this place was clean and comfortable, but the offerings were appalling, and the ordering system was surely counterproductive! I will never return to this badly run café again and I would advise you to steer clear! Don't let this review be indicative of Morrison's as a supermarket, which is a good quality, reasonably priced store.

Called in for breakfast with my daughter and 2 Yr old Grandson.waited for a hour for the food to come, I had small breakfast with a cappuccino both were cold.Daughter had avocado with poached eggs the avocado was not ripe enough so she had to just eat the eggs and toast her Latte was also cold needless to say will not be returning

A quick lunch when on a walk. Bit chaotic ordering but brought to the table by delightful staff. Couldnt be better. The food was good quality simple and the coffee was most acceptable. Not the nicest place to sit but it is a supermarket so not expected. Cheap

Absolutely avoid at all costs,we ordered our meal to be told there was no toasties left ,it was 1 pm come on its lunch time ,you should have enough to go around ,there was no sandwiches also so I had to order a soup and a roll and my partner ordered a portion of chips and garlic bread, we waited almost 40 minutes ,still no sign of food so my partner went up to ask where our meal was ,they said it wasn't ready yet ,so we asked for a refund, the girl apologised and said we could take some sandwiches free of charge, well there was none prepared so we had to get some off the shop floor ,now there's been a problem with the refund ,been back 3 times and still waiting for our money back, nightmare place, disgusting, will never go back in there again,once upon a time it was a decent place ,no management now ,staff just don't know what they are doing and don't seem to care

Thanks to the nice lady on the till who went to get me a proper piece of toast after I asked if it was just warm bread? Greasy uncooked bacon, half a slice of (???) toast cut into two on a full cooked breakfast for £5.95 Went as a very last resort as I didn’t want to cook this morning, just don’t understand how it can be hard to cook a good breakfast I never ever give a bad review but this was appalling, yet again after two years of hoping they might have a good chef/manager in place to sort the place out 🙈

We went to Morrisons for our breakfast on sunday, Ordered our breakfasts, this is when the fun started. 1. tried 3 times to get a coffee which was dishwater, was told by assistant that it had just been changed and if didnt like the coffee to have tea. 2. waited and waited for our breakfast. 3.Another assistant 9possible a cook) appeared telling everyone 45 minute wait, no apology or explanation. 4. 50 minutes later our breakfast arrived. 5. RAW BACON, everything else cold or missing. 6. Told assistant bacon was raw, she took it away and replaced with two cold pieces of bacon, no apology. 7.reported this to Morrisons helpline told i should of told duty manager absolutely disgusting service

Came for breakfast yesterday as there's a deal on for a full breakfast for £2.75. The self serve screen was out of order so we queued at the till and waited for the lady to take our order. She seemed to be the only one waiting tables, taking orders and cleaning up so we waited some timeto be served. We ordered one veggie and one normal breakfast to be told the wait on food was 20minutes which was fine, we paid and got our mugs for coffees. First coffee came out fine, second coffee wouldn't dispense as the machine was out of milk. We waited again for the machine to be refilled (again same lady) by which point the first coffee was cold. A lot of the tables were dirty and had leftover food on, but seen as the only person on was refilling coffee machines, taking orders and delivering food this wasn't surprising. The couple across from us wiped their own table down with baby wipes from their changing bag just to sit at a clean table. The wait for food was more like 40minutes than 20, people who arrived after us actually recieved their order first and had nothing different to us. When the food came it was cold, both our eggs were raw on top, and my plate was covered in grease both on top and underneath. Neither of us ate much and left. I appreciate that the store is short staffed as are a lot of places, but maybe hire some fixed term colleagues or multi skill the other colleagues to cover breaks/staff shortages. The lady who served us, though rushed off her feet, was doing an amazing job at keeping up, and did her best to see to every customer politely and the best she could. For £2.75 I don't feel I can't overly grumble, but we won't be coming to the cafe again and I won't recommend it either.

First time using the cafe for breakfast, 8am and it was empty, which should have told me something. We ordered at the machine and selected table service. The food came which was lovely but not the tea and coffee. We waited and waited. On leaving we politely asked for a refund on our drinks and were told 'we've never done table service for that, you get your own from over there'. We explained that the machine didn't say that, that it had said table service and there were no signs up explaining what you should do. We were made to feel like it was our fault and no refund was given for the drinks we had paid for. Very, very poor. Also, during the meal, I put my arm on the ledge next to the table and was covered in dust, it clearly hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Avoid this place.

We visited Morrisons Stockton Heath today for tea. Ran out of fish and chips. So ordered chips ham and eggs. The young girl on the till was lovely and friendly. It was not busy but it took 45 minutes for meal to arrive. An assistant offered us a free drink for the long wait. The chips were inedible. They were overcooked, hard and lukewarm. They were not freshly cooked. The food was cheap but you expect it to be edible. We will not be returning.

Been to the cafe a few times recently and the wait has never been less than 20 mins. Today we waited for 35 mins. After 25 mins we asked where the food was to be told it would be 5 more mins. 10 mins later we asked for a refund. The restaurant wasn’t busy at the time but there were several tables with trays still on them. We were part of 4 groups asking for a refund at one time. Some had been waiting as long as us for eggs on toast.

Arrived order on Friday 13th September. No fish, no chicken tikka, no pies ...and the list goes on!! The wan was so rude who served us! It was tea time and we had our 7 year old with us. She was so rude to him too! Disgusting customer service. When the meal EVENTUALLY came it was hardly edible. Certainly will not be returning...shame on Morrisons for allowing this kind of service.

Eaten here a few times. Everytime we go and order meals we have had before they always come looking completely different. Chips soggy, chips burned, chips on separate plate to curry, chips on same plate, lots of chips , hardly any chips, over cooked food, watery food that has clearly been defrosted.....badly. There is never any consistency. Worst meal I’ve ever had though last week. Macaroni cheese that was burnt solid underneath and chewy (pictures of solid burn across the whole bottom of meal) I couldn’t eat it! We ate at the Morrison’s at Newtown a few weeks ago whilst on holiday. Cafe was heaving and I could see why. Food was fantastic (same meal from same menu!) but completely different presentation and cooked properly. Wish we had this one near by. Meals are inexpensive which is great but it needs to be edible. This cafe is always empty. Doesn’t head office look at it and wonder why? Think they need to mystery shop this cafe. Such a shame as staff really nice. Xx

A tasty meal at Morrisons café last night!We popped in for a couple of things, and looked at the menu on the off-chance!I had the "Vegan Butternut Squash & Lentil Lasagne (£5.50)".My husband ordered a veggie quiche, but they didn't have any (why the electronic ordering point didn't know this is beyond me ), so he had veggie sausage and mash.Negatives: the lasagne didn't come with a side salad, and we still had to ask for our ordered extra side salads.The lasagne was a tiny bit dry.The veggie sausage and mash didn't come with gravy, as they didn't have any veggie gravy.Positives: the lasagne was GORGEOUS! Really filling, a really great texture (kinda "meaty" and not overly lentil-y). The fake cheese was perfect! I was really impressed.I googled it, and got the full menu, calories and all! There weren't any menus in the café and the electronic ordering point didn't have the calorie info. 548 cals for mine, and a misleading 763 cals for sausage and mash, but that was for three sausage or three Quorn sausages ‍♀️The vegan lasagne was only launched in April, the stock/promo photo is quite amusingly different.A filling meal for two for £13 was pretty good really!!

Okay received money back but i still had to go and buy good as i had been looking fureard to it. Will not go back.

Ordered 2 x simple meals (mixed grill & a cheese burger etc) at 13:16hr on Saturday 08/06/2019.We had to requeste 4 x times, how much longer, the meals would take to prepare.Eventually we placed an official complaint & we received a full refund.At 14:16hr the food arrived at the serving hatch & was brought to the table, minus a few bits & bobs such as no cheese on the burger etc at 14:20hr.No criticism against the staff on the floor, who were serving etc. My advice would be, for Morrison’s catering management, to have a full review of their operations, priorities & procedures, as what they have in place, is certainly not working at the Warrington Store.

Me & my hubby ordered 2breakfast with multigrain toast absolutely vile!! Beans were cold bacon was tough looked liked it’s been stud under heating elements for hours!! sausages were very cheap and tasted vile (very commercial) and the pouched eggs well what can I say weren’t even cooked!! And the chips were like rubber & stone cold didn’t even eat them the only decent food was the toast it was very nice and all we had was 2 breakfast & 2 brews nearly £15.00 avoid the cafe especially with the breakfast and they need to change the cook obviously they don’t give a dam about there customers giving them crap food and hours old!!! I’ve been to the one in winsford in Cheshire and there 10 times better than Warrington this is the 2nd time this has happened to us we will never give them the better of the dought next time avoid this cafe I certainly would!! At least at winsford the food is fresher

Used to come regularly for breakfast but with children's sport don't get the chance to come often anymore. Tried to order using the electronic self service machine but couldn't order drinks as that function didn't work. Placed our order at the till and was told there'd be a half hour wait. Ordered our breakfasts and was asked if we wanted toast with them, which we ordered. The food began to arrive about 50 mins later. Firstly my husband's and mine. A few minutes later the other 3 arrived. The waitress was keen to take our table number away to indicate we were served despite pointing out we had toast to come. She said she'd go and look for it. Ten mins passed so I caught the waitress as she was serving others to ask if she'd found our toast and was told it was "just coming now"...that age old phrase. By the time the toast arrived the children had finished their breakfast - good job we hadn't waited or the food would have been cold as it wasn't particularly hot when it arrived. The toast was also cold on arrival at the table. The fried eggs were rubbery. My poached egg was like a rubber ball. I asked if we were still to be charged for the toast given 60% of the family had finished their food and was told "you've already paid". I was more explicit and requested a refund. That also took a while and I was refunded just the money for the toast. She asked if the rest of the food was ok, so I was honest and said "no, not really" expecting to open a dialogue to find out what else was wrong but she simply turned and walked away. Obviously not interested in the feedback.

Our first visit we Arrived and ordered via the computer system staight forward . We sat down waited just over 30 mins for the food to arrive because we ordered drinks we asked where they were to be told u help you self by a most unwelcoming colleague saying this all the colleges looked unhappy . We would have liked some indication when ordering this was how we got our drinks as we sat there for over half a hour waiting. Back to the food we were missing items that were on the menu no mention to this when the food arrived. What did arrive on our plate was nearly Luke warm the fried bread was so hard it couldn’t even be cut with a knife needless to say we will not be returning.

So I ordered some bangers and mash from Morrison’s and it was absolutely terrible. The mash had random bits of tough food in It, obviously scraped off the pan. It felt like they emptied the pin into the mash and just served it. There was a random pea in there that looked like it’d be knocking about for years. I’m struggling to put into words how bad this mash was, I’d sooner eat the knife and fork.

Visit occasionally but never a perfect experience thinking it must be better than last time. Staff always look miserable. Had a refit recently but not an improvement. Latest visit - 1st choice order not available, 2nd choice order not available, 3 choice order not available so settled finally for a small breakfast which was available. Took ages to arrive with lukewarm to cold beans. My advice - don't bother.

My partner went to order food table was dirty ask waitress to please clean my table when she could to be greeted with sighs and dirty looks I challenged her for being rude in which she said she was busy and sighed again. When my partner came over he said she was rude to him when he explained there was a problem with coffee machine. Food arrived no butter on toast and cold chips complained and manager was very good but don’t think I’ll bother again

Went in on Saturday around 4:00 and the place was uncomfortably hot, we had to sit right at the shop end of the cafe just to get away from the heat. Ordered two mains and two coffees and sat down. Then realised we’d been charged for a coffee which should have been in the meal + drink deal so had to go back to the till for a refund.

Had the big breakfast here ...ordered extra toast (yeah, I know, what a pig ! ) . Not really needed as it came with fried bead and hash browns (should have read the menu first) Very nicely cooked and didn't take long , although it was fairly quiet at the time.

Came here for a meal in the afternoon and ordered fish fingers, chips and peas which were very nice indeed, and my mum ordered salmon and avocado salad, which she really enjoyed, but we unfortunately experienced some gripes which let our experience down; the service was particularly slow, the teapots were made of metal, meaning it would remain very hot whilst containing the tea, and could have caused unsuspecting customers to burn themselves badly and the salad dressing on my Mum’s food was not presented well. Still love this place but could do with some minor improvements.

I used to go here at least once a month but the last three times I have been here, they don’t have either the meal I order off menu or my partner. Last time we went the chap on till said they never get deliveries in time. There were about 8 core meals which they didn’t have when I asked for so we left. Cafe just had a mini revamp. Personally I wouldn’t have bothered. Looked fine before and if you want to increase customers try improving availability and think u would find profits increase.

I've been here many times with my uncle! This time there has been some upgrading and revamp of the tea and coffee area. Electronic screens to order etc. Ok for me but there were a few oldies having a few issues with the screens. They could use some written instructions if there aren't enough staff to help people. But that said the coffee was so good! I ordered the Baked Potato with tuna and mayo very nice! Uncle had the Bangers and mash and he was a happy bunny lovely big sausages....very nice he said. So true to form as he likes the familiar we went the next day as well...ok he had the Fish and Chips and declared them to be very good and I had well the Baked Potato again complete with same filling...I'm just as bad as him....but you can usually get a seat as it's a big area and in general the girls are cleaning up fairly quickly. You also have the option to return your tray with your empty plates to a trolley ....keeps the restaurant tidier....I have rated this as a Very Good but really would have put Good if there was that option because better than average!

We came here for breakfast and was not impressed. They completely messed up all our orders. We ordered in two separate orders one after the other and ten minutes later we got ours after ordering first. We asked for no beans on mine and ended up with beans. My friend didn’t get her food right and got it done twice and third time half lucky, she ordered a small breakfast and ended up with scrambled egg on toast. No sausages yet our food that came out after had sausages on...

My partner went up to the till and ordered two breakfasts, once he'd returned to the table I noticed that he'd only paid for one, so I had to go up and order another one. I asked the lady at the till could she still bring them out together and she said no worries. So 15 minutes later my partner received his breakfast, then another 25 minutes later I was still waiting for mine. I had to ask a member of staff to chase my order up and she informed me that there was a 30 minute wait. Not very happy with the service and the food is mediocre.
