Morrisons Cafe in Coventry

The order system was very poor and when I went to get the drink I payed for wasn't there . The food was Luke warm to cold by the time we got it and had to pay extra for sauce and all the tables were dirty as the poor guy was run off his feet trying to do everything .. never again will I eat there ..

Store is always freezing cold everytime I go there to do my shopping and to use the cafe all year round.

This place is okay for a decent meal. The food isn’t overly priced, and the pizza was hot when it came out, however, the coffee was cold from the machine. The staff are very hard working, and appear to do all the jobs (cleaning, cooking and waitressing).

This shop needs closing down. They sell stale food, dry bread. Service has gone down the drain Where are the health inspectors. Morrisons is silently killing people's health. This norm with them. Help!!!!

Today 1/3/22 after finishing our shopping we decided, as we've done many times, to visit the in store café, for about the 6th time we decided to take a meal deal that was on offer, the deal was "feed the family for £10",this offer we have had many times but today after ordering we was asked "are the children with you?" when we said no the assistant refused our order, we explained that a number of weeks ago a cafe team member told us that we could take the child meals with us but still they refused our order! At this point we left the cafe without purchasing anything! So well done Morrisons you managed to lose a sale and probably 2 regular customers, absolutely dreadful customer service.

Walked here to get a decent breakfast, the menu gave me the choice of fried, poached, or scrambled eggs, I ordered poached. 2 minutes later the cook/waitress/cleaner, (I suspect she was all three) came out to tell me there were no poached eggs - however I could have fried or scrambled - work that one out ! Obviously couldn’t be bothered to put some water in a pan and boil it. Disappointed in Morrisons

I could write a long review but I won't bore you the reader. As a former chef I've never encountered such unprofessional behaviour from staff that are more interested in chatting with there co workers than doing the job there payed to do.not to mention there hygiene (ie) scratching themselves then serving food without washing there hands. And as I and my wife experienced filthy cutlery. And when I brought it up I was tutted at by the member of staff. As for the food. Undercooked. Cheap and nasty ingredients and cooks who clearly can not cook.and as for the prices.i don't know where morrisons get off charging people what they do for what I can only describe as slop.i will never set foot back in a morrisons cafe again. Morrisons you have a lot of work to do.

Morrison’s - Coventry! I seen an advert on Facebook that Morrison’s we’re doing Afternoon tea at half price! It was also great to see them offer this outside of the Monday-Wednesday Scheme therefore we’re not rushed and visited on a Sunday afternoon. We had to wait 10 mins before being given a table, it was disappointing to see many tables were not cleaned and I do not think this is the fault of the 1 x waitress running around the cafe but maybe a management issue not having more staff on the floor that day. It was a strange - Help yourself service with the tea/coffee instead of your typical table service. The staff were great and did bring over the stands and had to request plates and cutlery as again felt very strange to be kept in the kitchen. The quality of the food was amazing and I can not fault Morrison’s, I hope they do this offer more often!! I would give this a overall score of 7/10.

This is the second time this week I've came, 4 things I asked for they didn't have. Including poached egg... how can you make fried egg but not poached??? This was both times. They didnt have the black pudding but wouldn't swap it for anything else just a piece of toast. And its joint with a supermarket how can you run out 🤦‍♀️ then when the brekfast was bought back out they only put 2 of the 3 eggs on it and no black pudding as they had run out. An absolute joke! Ps the fried bread was oily and you could have knocked someone out with it!

Give it a miss. poorly cooked, tasteless and expensive. It is what it is but I'd expect better for the prices. Tea and toast is probably ok.

Cheap food, not the hottest. Reasonable value for the whole family to eat, but not the best food. Staff friendly but it took a while to catch their attention to get the kids pudding.

Very good vegetarian breakfast poached eggs were perfect quick service good of been,a little hotter but very good value for money

Morrison's offer a wide range of food at very good value for money. We had the half chicken and chips which was very good and the gammon, egg, chips and peas again very good. Lots of customers have the fish and chips as it is prepared fresh each time.

been here several times often very busy and chaotic. food precooked cold be hotter cheap enough but expect a long wait

We were staying in a hotel nearby and decided to give this cafe a try because we needed a few bits in the shop. What a surprise - such a pleasant place. I loved the decor and the table spacing. Quick and friendly service. Excellent quality for a low price.

Cold food over cooked bacon, over done beans and toast that hadn't even been scarred with a toaster. Is it so hard to produce a nice breakfast? On the plus side staff are lovely and chatty

Service is slow but the coffee is good, handy place for me to go to for coffee and a snack. Always busy and that has to be a good sign.

Tables all clean even though busy staff we all very helpful. Excellent service and food. Good to have time to relax and read the paper.

Morrisons serve good food at reasonable value which also tastes exceptional;.it is perfect for a quick snack.

Popped into Morrisons cafe for some lunch before doing some shopping. I ordered a Toasted Tuna Crunch Sandwich which you could have with either chips or salad, i chose salad. You do get a generous amount of salad so I thought it was good value at only £4.

saturday afternoon. Had bacon roll that was served FREEZING COLD - tried to eat it and make most of it but made me feel sick afterward. Husband had breakfast with hard chewy hash browns on. Complained at customer services re bacon roll - had refund = however it is not nice to have be complaining about things. Will not eat at Morrisons again except for a cup of tea. The trouble with Morrisons is inconsistency - one day you could have a great breakfast (hot bacon roll) etc, another day (cold bacon roll, undercooked eggs etc), seems to depend who is cooking the breakfast. We have eaten at Sainsburys cafeteria - and someone will check if your food is ok. Had to buy chocolate to take away the horrid taste of the cold bacon roll. (cold roll/cold bacon) May be I was lucky it was cooked at all. In future MacDonalds will get my custom - the quality is always consistent.

I visit this cafe with my wife often as we live close by and have never been disappointed. The big breakfast is terrific, the lasagne wonderful and the fish and chips sublime.all this is complimented by very friendly staff and a good atmosphere. Highly recommended

Poor quality food even for a cafe. Takes an age to order even longer to arrive and even longer to chew it!! Not worth the money buy the ingredients and cook it own will still be quicker

Slow service uninterested staff. Solid cold poached eggs burnt muffin not impressed. Previous visit had a hair in the food. Should have learned and will not revisit

You have to wait a long time for food. To get served takes a long time. The staff are slow and often confused. The food is cold.

Went for omelettes to be told couldnt have one cheese and one cheese and bagon.didnt want beans and chips but they kept saying we had to.so didnt eat their and wont again

I've had breakfast here a number of times, but not for at least three years. The cafe has always been tidy but when I came here (in preference to paying over the odds for breakfast at the hotel where I'd spent the night!) I was in for a huge shock.
