Nice food but it was like lunch in the Antarctic - please Morrisons stop blasting your cafe customers with icy air conditioning!

OK as far as Supermarket Cafes go Not very big plates of food and not the best quality ingredients used (Sausages etc seem like cheap ones) the cakes and sandwiches seem better and some of the cakes really are good but as Weatherspoons is only a few hundred metres away we rather go there

Today the food was delicious, as always, and I love the new crockery. It's more like eating in a restaurant than a supermarket and the staff are so nice and friendly and helpful. Thank you, girls. PS love the new menu but glad jacket potatoes are back !

Avoid! Pat on the cafe reception is rude to an extreme. The food was fine but they forgor the toast and then insisted on seeing a receipt but there had been no receipt. Just avoid them

This is a surprising find and has well priced food - especially breakfasts - as well as good quality hot drinks on refillable deals. Bargain

Are here July 2019.We fancied coffee and toast (brown) so popped in.After 25 minutes wait and 2 mild complaints, the toast turned up. That’s an exact 25 minutes not a rough guess too!White!!!We didn’t dare get it changed as for sure we would have waited another 25 minutes.

I have popped into this cafe several times whilst shopping in store. Always hoping it will be more comfortable to sit and enjoy a coffee and sandwich tried again today. Couldn’t find a single table that didn’t hit you with a blast of icy cold air. Put sandwich in my bag , left coffee and sat in my warm car. Such a shame as it would be lovely and great value otherwise.

Our favourite Supermarket. Shop then lunch. Good quality food at a fantastic price. Really popular, it has quite a large seating area which is always packed.

OK - we had a full-on cooked breakfast with pots of tea - the food was really well cooked and hot as well. Never before have I had a hot breakfast from Sainsburys cafe in T Wells - they are totally rubbish - the food always comes out tepid. The staff in Morrosons cafe were really friendly and So much better than Sainsburys. Also, it's just a nice place to eat. Sainsburys is a tired looking old style office cafe with zero personality. Morrisons cafe is varied and has different seating areas. The food was excellent and tea spot-on. Well done Morrisons! And breakfast is ALL DAY!!!!!

This was my first time at the cafe so I thought I would give it a chance. The first problem came every early as the fizzy drinks machine wasn’t working. The woman who served at the counter was lovely and did her job very well. Me and my mother sat and both had a coffee. My mother ordered an eggs Benedict and I ordered a full English breakfast. Now this bit is important...we ordered this at 11:45am. We waited...and waited...and waited. At 12:15 we have been waiting for our food for 30 minutes my mother went over to the counter and the woman just apologised and said there was a delay in the kitchen which is fair enough it wasn’t her fault and she couldn’t do much. It was until 12:30 45 minutes waiting someone came over to our table (with no food) and said “who ordered the eggs Benedict?” My mother said she did and got a reply saying “we don’t have any muffins left so are you okay with toast?” To my shock we’ve waited 45 minutes and was basically told they haven’t even made the food yet. In the end we waited a whole hour for the food if the woman didn’t come up to our table we would’ve asked for a refund. The food arrived at 12:45 (yes an hour later) my mother’s eggs Benedict was good though it’s a shame I can’t say the same about my English breakfast. The bacon was dry as hell that I struggled eating it cause it would make me cough up, the fried bread was just a grease fest and made me feel sick the beans were over cooked and the fried egg was over cooked that the yolk was dried up as if it was a full hard boiled egg. The only decent part of the meal was the hash brown and the sausages. Overall I will not be coming back to the cafe and would never recommend it to anyone. If you’re looking for decent and quick service you’ll have better chance getting it at spoons down the road

Really great value for money especially on a week night when kids dinners go free with an adult dinner. You get what you pay for.

Eaten here a few times and it can be a bit hit and miss as to the quality of the food. Generally I like the fish and chips or the cooked breakfast and while I have had one pretty awful meal from here in general it has been very good. I have tried a few of the other dishes but have mostly been disappointed. Many are microwaved including pies...hence very soggy!

When the next day, you’re still talking about how bad the service was, and watch every table you arrived before get served, eat, and leave. Literally lunch was over before we got served our lunch. Service was friendly on arrival, but that’s when it ended too. No one wanted the warm-ish food when it finally arrived. We didn’t leave a tip, and that’s super rare to annoy us that much.

It was quiet for our Xmas do though we may have been the first to have a big group event :) We had the festive menu. The carvery was lovely, however if veg is left on hotplate too long it can be bit hard - not sure if there's another solution to this. Some in the group were not overly enamoured with the Mac 'N' Cheese, felt it was not cheesy enough. The chips were overcooked which came wit the burger. Overall, it was a super evening, lovely venue and welcoming staff.

I’ve been to this place a few times now, when flying to and from Gatwick Airport. I’ve always been impressed by the staffs politeness and courtesy, going that extra mile. They are very dog friendly with treats at the bar, and water bowls provided. There has been a hansom, well behaved, and affectionate Australian kelpie dog there on a few of my visits. The rooms are reasonably priced have been consistently clean, tidy and comfortable during my stay. I would not hesitate to recommend The Plough Inn to any other traveller or patron.

Tried the Hay Waggon, which is under new ownership. Great barbecue with seafood kebabs and amazing local rump steak. Homemade ice creams are to die for. All served up in a wonderful garden
