Morrisons Cafe in Bexley

Not Morrisons fault, coffee was in separate bag, but still got spilt on main bag, and made soggy food boxes, tried to go through something wrong part of app, I said what was wrong all fine, asked me to take photos of food, but hay that part of the app not working, not a good show Just Eat and you moved delivery time 6 times, and again not Morrisons fault

Cold, horrible breakfast. Ate it as in a hurry and no-one really to comment to. Absolute waste of money. Will not eat cooked food here again due to low quality.

We went there with whe family the other day and were quite happy, although their dishwasher was broken so cardboard cups. Also, what's with the staff smoking outside???

In a nutshell, the food, portions and taste has gone down considerably. The new menu changes in full breakfast are strange. Sliced, uncooked mushrooms, chopped tomatoes from their own tins. Shouldn't this be a whole flat mushroom and half a tomato grilled in lil oil?? No butter provided with toast. Baked beans again cold from tins. Prices up, quality down... who on earth gives cold food in traditional english breakfast?

Excellent prices, service and non meat options. I'd like them to issue non-butter spread.

Ordered vegan breakfast which was tepid and requested no butter on my toast due to being vegan and got butter anyway . Couldn’t contact them to check if by a slim chance it was vegan butter !

The food was late by more than 2 hours and it was so cold and couldn't possibly taste it. Don't think will be ordering again.

The food was messed up, and requested items was in different meals. Also all 4 packed was smashed and hash browns was damaged, toasts smashed and eggs.

Everything hot and not gone soggy. Quite good value and all cooked well and tasty. Well packaged, only thing is that my sandwich got a bit warm on top of my hot food. Nothing major!

The lady's are great the foods was great but as I was waiting for my food the man who I think is the manager was asked by the cook did the customer want beans or pea's he's reply was who cares give em what ever I found this very rude other wise would of given 5🟢 rating

Staff were polite and meal was well priced. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Well worth a visit for a good hearty meal but no atmosphere.

I was surprised how good this is. You can choose what you want and it’s freshly cooked. Drinks are refillable. Recommended

Both myself nd my friend have food intolerance, so when we asked if we could by food from there fridge section and bring it in to eat in there we were told that wouldn't be a problem as long as we ordered a drink from the cafe. The staff were very polite and helpful

The staff are very nice here and the prices are reasonable. It is great if you feel like lunch while you shop. It is clean and the menu is well set out in the entrance. I would not say the food is brilliant but its good for the price and I would return. It is bright and cheerful and has a place for the children to play or you can sit by the window watching the world go by.. It is large and well lit but in busy times there is a long wait but the staff do make you aware. It is suitable for children and is wheelchair friendly as are the facilities

I had a tuna mayo jacket potato and it came with a varied salad and lots of tuna. It was fresh and delicious and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was delivered at a busy time and before when they said it would. Excellent. Thanks.

We grabbed a breakfast before we our xmas shopping. Big portions, great price. Nothing fancy, but thats reflects a price. £10 for two breakfast with coffee- you cannot go wrong, can you?

The Tea was very hot but coffee and hot chocolate was warm not hot should have demanded a refund.Will not go back to Morrison’s for a quick drink

I had the misfortune of being dragged here by a group of work friends this morning. After perusing the menu I reluctantly chose the ‘Big Builders Butty’. Now, whilst I’m certainly no builder - I’d struggle to mix a bag of cement. But what I do know a thing or two about is how a simple breakfast should be presented. Firstly, the bread roll. It had the appearance of something that had been cut by a blind person. I reckon they’d have done a better job of just grabbing it with both hands and tearing it down the middle. Instead, someone hacked away at it with what must have been a blunt knife which resulted in a really uneven cut which would have been impossible to pick up - had I bothered to try. Next up are the beans. This breakfast prices itself on the menu as containing Heinz baked beans. However, being somewhat of a baked beans connoisseur, or at least having the ability to determine the difference between baked beans from a can and the shingle that you’d expect to find on the beach down at Broadstairs - I quantify that the beans are most certainly my not those produced by our trusty friends in the Heinz factory. Definitely not. The temperature - and I’m not talking about the temperature of the restaurant itself, which I hasten to add was barely above freezing. The breakfast was cold; lukewarm at best. Egg - hard! Has browns - had a green appearance which only got worse upon being dissected. Amongst the cold, soggy ‘hash’ several lumps of unknown green lumps could be found. Your guess is as good as mine. Overall - I’d have refrained from giving this place a single star but the generous people of Tripadvisor don’t allow this. Instead I’m forced to award a single star, which I feel is over generous when compared to the miserable, sorry looking dross I had slapped down in front of me, this morning. Needless to say, I advise not to go here. Not even if your life depended on it. I’d go into more detail here however nature is calling me - as it seems to have been doing repeatedly ever since I courteously obliged in trying a few mouthfuls of my breakfast, this morning.

Love the fact that they have a small play area that my grandchildren love whilst I’m having a lovely coffee, the only thing that lets them down is that they shut off the area near the play area at 3pm so they don’t want people to eat or drink there and expect you to sit away from the play area whilst you’re kids are playing 😡had many a conversation with staff over it😡can’t see why they can’t keep a few places open for parents with kids😡😡😡

My lovely elderly aunt and I popped into Morrison’s cafe for breakfast today before I left ... the food was really good quality (I had a light breakfast with a pouched egg, bacon, grilled tomato and beans with toast) and a pot of average tea

I try and visit somewhere a couple of times before I leave a review, and I left a good one for this place in May which I have since come to regret. We visited with an elderly lady and a toddler last Saturday and arrived at 12pm. We were told by the lady serving that food would be a half an hour wait. Regardless of what we ordered as we hadn't actually even decided what we wanted. I asked why and she said because it was busy. There were several empty tables and not many people in but we couldn't be bothered to argue - especially when she then started recommending other places we could go in the local area! With a disabled 91 year old and hungry 2 year old mobility was an issue but clearly we weren't welcome at Morrisons. Completely put off and will not be coming back here again as it's slightly embarrassing to be turned away from somewhere. It seems they have a staff problem.

I know it's a supermarket cafe but customer service appalling. Had a great refurb. But food luke warm. Visited at the weekend and all 4 front of house staff looked unhappy like they didnt really want to be there. We did complain at customer services. Had a full refund

Mi madre y yo decidimos parar por un chocolate caliente después de nuestra comida. El chocolate caliente es polvo de la máquina así que por desgracia es muy artificial y degustación no muy caliente. No molesten, acabado ya que realmente no deje un sabor horrible en la boca. El lugar era también necesita una limpia y ordenada, pero puede que sólo tenía una muy ajetreado periodo y las cosas estaban en proceso de ser depurado. Sólo había 2 miembros del personal. El personal era educado y amable.

For value for money this place can't be beaten and food is always excellent. Don't know how they do it for the price

Mi madre y yo visitamos aquí con mis 90 años y mi hijo de bebé por Nan el almuerzo. Mi abuela vive localmente y a veces viene aquí para el almuerzo solo y puedo ver por qué. La comida es bastante buena y de precio razonable teniendo en cuenta que es un supermercado y una cafetería restaurante no. Mi abuela es bastante fijo en su formas y queríamos pedir algo que ya no está en el menú, así que el personal y su consecuencia acomodó se desvivieron para ayudar a su cambio y con ella su bandeja y en llevar a la mesa para recibo de ella. Ella no es muy móvil y la ayuda siempre es muy apreciada. A mi hijo le encantó estar junto a la ventana y ver los autobuses, siempre un plus cuando hay una distracción mientras espera por la comida! Aunque mi orden panes Nan fue colocado por separado a la nuestra la comida era traído juntos, que era genial. Mi hijo tenía los dedos de pescado que a él le encantó, tuve scampi que estaba delicioso, aunque mis guisantes eran muy cocidas. Mi madre tenía una patata chaqueta que parecía increíble y mi abuela tenía sus salchichas, puré y guisantes que disfrutamos. Mi único problema es la capacidad para estar unido a las mesas que resulta bastante difícil de maniobrar sobre cuando estás recogiendo después un niño y agarrando cosas fuera de una bolsa de bebé, pero son perfectos para una persona anciana sola que no para sí mismos empuje más cerca de la mesa. Columpios y rotondas! Sin duda iremos de nuevo.

They have a good variety of food as it is not a glamorous place to eat. Many disabled people eat there as there is good access for wheel-chairs. Food is average with reasonable prices.

Fuimos a Morrison en welling para un desayuno y para ser sincero no estaba mal. Nada especial y costará más de un café local. Sería una buena idea si el té o café vino incluido en el precio en vez de un vaso pequeño de plástico naranja.

The cafe has been refurbished. It is now a carbon copy of any chain coffee shop. Boring! There are no more lovely breakfasts etc just drinks pastries and cake. We always had breakfast / lunch before our 2 shops a week. We don't shop there now very often as half the reason for going was the lovely fresh cooked food. The week we saw the "new" cafe, it was empty whereas at that time of any morning it used to be bursting at the seams! Cafe assistant said they are not half so busy now.

The place was a mess. Dirty tables ..no cups.. no forks no milk.Understaffed Needs more staff so they can keep on top of things.Food was 40 mins then cold in arrival.Staff not great seemed moody as under pressure.Won't be going back in a hurry..

Was shopping, was peckish, had breakfast! It's not exactly cordon bleau but you're not paying those sort of prices, pleasant staff and it filled a hole.

Sadly I was very disappointed with my experience in Morrisons Cafe. Firstly the food took around 40 minutes to come!I ordered a poached egg and ended up with something hard boiled!! I was very disappointed but didn't complain as I had already waited so long!! Give this a miss and go to a nice cafe instead!

Nice meals ans kids eat free, good hearty meals and helpful friendly staff. It's near local busses and easy to get to. Highly recommended

I have eaten here 3 times. The 1st breakfast I had was o.k, it arrived hot and freshly cooked and I swapped some items which some places don't do!! I have been back since a few times and they were understaffed on one occasion - the breakfast was very greasy and not very warm.. I next time I went back it was lovely!!

ordered the fish abd chips , should have called it fat and chips , look at the pix i uploaded , had to scrape the thinnest looking fish out of the fat/batter , what jokers they are trying to hide what can only be described as an abismal and i say piece of fish with a smile as its more like painted fish than a piece of fish. When i complained the manager was ver apologetic and explained its how its delivered and then refunded me what i had paid as i think she eas embarrased by what she saw. the whole thing added up to 3 forks full of fish as you can see. This is one of the most disgusting attempts to serve fish and chips i have ever seen.... i should have just gone ti the chip shop next door .Morrisons take heed from the pictures , its a pathetic attempt and to call it fish is just taking the .... the only time ill ever come back us to use the toilet !!

Just popped in quick for a cup of tea with a snack, it was self service but you could also order a hot meal. Very cheap and also very nice. The seating was great, you could sit at the table or there were comfy chairs and tables. I found this place really relaxing. Probably even better after you've done you're shopping.

Only one person working on till and serving tables... food reasonably priced but ordered a jacket potato....half hour later still no food.. lady was dismissive and quite rude when it's whereabouts was questioned... and was told 'well there are others in front of you ' ..there was one other table waiting for food and they waited just as long as us ... don't think I will bother going back.

Came here for breakfast. Completely unplanned but glad we found it. Very cheap too! And lots of free parking!

I often visit here to meet friends. Often we only have a coffee yet I couldn't help but notice the good value menu on offer here. I particularly like the 'smaller appetites' feature as I feel this would be suitable for a lot of customers-often you don't want a massive breakfast or lunch!

Good food, great value whether you are eating a cooked meal or just a snack or a drink, you wont be disappointed. Pleasant, helpful staff, nice clean dining area where you can sit and people watch as you enjoy decent grub with no frills

Always a good visit to my local Morrisons cafe - good food that cheap but filling. I always enjoy their sandwiches but this time round I had full english and was once again very happy with the portion size and quality. I would definitely visit a Morrisons Cafe if I wanted some good food.

Went to Morrisons shopping and popped into the restaurant and noticed the the service was not very good and there was no one to help you. The lady on the tills had to keep running out the back and the food was just ok. I had the fish and it used to be top banana but it has slipped down a little and seems a little on the small side. The kids meals were ok but they had to eat off the adult menu as the choices were not good on their one. Still not bad value but it needs a proper caterer to run it perhaps and leave the staff to the food / retail section

So I went to Morrisons cafe this morning. I ordered two big breakfasts which are £4.49 each. There is an option to have toast or fried bread. I asked for toast with both. Went they were brought out, one had toast and one had fried bread. I said I ordered toast and the waiter asked me if I was sure as the receipt said no toast for one, of course I'm sure, I know what I asked for! The bacon was ok, you get three rashers. The egg was good, very well cooked, the baked beans were good, the sausage was really good, the fried bread was under the baked beans and mushrooms and made it soggy which is a total off out for me personally, I didn't eat the mushrooms or tomato so I can't comment. I wasn't particularly happy on this occasion. If I decide to go in the cafe again I hope it's a better experience.

This is an okay cafe if you have just done your shopping and fancy a bite to eat and drink. On this occasion there was 40 minute wait for food which meant I had a rest before eating. Cheap prices but sometimes food a bit greasy and often served on too small a plate which means e.g. egg on top of the bacon which doesn't look very nice, but you get what you pay for!!

For the first time ever a friend took me to Morrisons Supermarket in Aldershot. He was told that the food was very good. At first sight the seating area did not impress me, tables were not cleared or wiped down. We ordered two egg, bacon & chips meals. We also wanted a fresh ground coffee but the machine had not been filled up & none of the staff seemed to care. When our food arrived it was all on one plate. We pointed out that two seperate meals had been ordered but this seemed to not register with the young lady. After much discussion she took the food away & shortly came back with two seperate plates. By now the food had become cold, it looked unedable & tasted alwful. Next time we shall try one of the other places to eat which offer food at a good price. So had would I rate my exprience 1 out 10 & that's just for the sit down.

I went here today and had some fish and chips which I did not completely finish as the chips were too greasy and the fish nice but not so the batter. It was however very hot. I ordered some curry sauce but it never arrived and because it would not have improved this meal I decided to let it go. I think the staff were fine but no more than that. I did not get the usual 'enjoy your meal' or a smile from the waitress serving and the lady on the till was in my view quite 'dull' in her approach and although not unpleasant in any way at all, just seemed to lack interest in the customer. The place seemed very clean and it is bright looking out on the high street and it was quite busy. There was the usual variety of food but for me...its good for staff to smile and show some good customer care skills and there are lots of places to have lunch in this area.

Have been coming here regular especially since my children are in school. The staff are nice and friendly there's a lot of range of foods and drinks. We had fish and chips the other day and it was amazingly lovely. today ive had tgere lasagne this is sooo nice especially if you have it early as it's soo fresh. see you next week ;)

Some lovely food highly recommend fish n chips, lasagne, pancakes. Kids boxes very good too. Staff are ok onellovely lady the man is a but stroppy but hey overall good for price.

Bit of a funny way of ordering but once you get used to it, it works ok. Food is basic but filling, not for the gourmet, but ok as standard British fill me belly stuff.

Nice little restaurant for value when you have the grand kids in tow on a shopping trip. But the restaurant lacks the quality and service of the one in erith and the staff when you could find them were slow in clearing tables and cleaning them as it seemed to be generally understaffed.

I really like the flying start breakfast, great value for money and never ever greasy. Staff always friendly and restaurant always clean and tidy.

fab brecky but make sure you are clear with the staff exactly what you want on your plate as you might end up with anything!- when its right it fab!

I have never had a bad meal in here,very good value for money the grandchildren love it and they sell 'proper'food
