Morrisons in Rushcliffe

Stopped in for lunch and some shopping. Tried fish n chips in cafe one with beans and other mushy peas. Very large fish, all fish unlike some the have half an inch batter on each end. Had to wait about 10 mins as cooked fresh and excellent value at £6.99 each.

Seems like Morrisons have changed their plates. Why are they now putting Meals on Dessert Plates. They are okay for sliced cakes or pie and custard, but you get a full meal on it, and try cutting your meat on a plate with a lip around it, you will struggle. Perhaps I should do as my son does, and use my hands. Not easy with fried eggs.

As a regular customer the attitude of some staff can improve a lot (especially in the convenience store section). I understand that staff have to follow specific processes when dealing with customer queries, however this persons attitude needs to change especially her listening skills and interpretation of what customer are saying. Just because a customer has a high tone doesn’t mean she is shouting and claiming that a person is shouting, just confirms the employee competence level in dealing with specific type of customers. My advice is to listen, think before responding. Rather guessing what someone is saying before responding. So rated this visit a 1 star for incompetence.

Visited on a very busy Friday morning- but helpfully two servery points - one food and one drinks. Unfortunately the drinks point was very slow. Key facility for this district centre.

Needed breakfast and a birthday cake, I was visiting for a 90th birthday party Very good quality breakfast and my friend was very pleased with birthday cake, As no one had thought to get her a cake Great Morrison’s a good selection.

i have tried to review Newark Notts morrisons cafe,many times. for some reason not allowed. so this is only way around it.we have had breakfast twice both times very good, good value.only fault, marge with toast.

I have just recieved an email from Morrisons offering a £12 discount if I spend £60 on line. Why does this not apply to footfall customers ???? I prefer to do my shopping in person not sit around and just pick up the phone to have it delivered. This day and age with so much obesity Morrisons should be encouraging people taking the trouble to shop in person. Yes I realise some people are too busy and it suits them to shop on line, which is fine, but Morrisons and other Supermarkets should offer these discounts across the board. Customers are customers and whether on line or in person, Morrisons are getting our money and we should be treated fairly

My wife & I shop and have lunch here most Wednesdays. Not fine dining maybe, but good quality, service & value for money. We were particularly impressed the other week when apparently an elderly lady had fallen in the store. She was not badly hurt, but obviously upset. Two staff brought her into the cafe in a wheelchair to recover & have a cup of tea. One assistant (Nicola, I think) was very professional & calming to the lady, and arranged for another staff member to give a lift home. Well done, Morrisons.

ok but I have had better at other stores, and ive eaten at a lot of their stores across the uk, not the cleanest and not the fastest service ive had either, but I guess it wasn't the worst place that I have eaten at either

Fantastic fish and chips cooked perfectly and excellent value for money .. friendly staff worth a visit just for lunch if not shopping

Went to fill up today at the petrol station and buy some ad blue for my car. It opens at 8am I arrived at 9.15am and it was closed. Tried to ring the main store; after four attempts I was told we are aware of the issue and are trying to resolve it. One thing that they could of done is let people know on the forecourt; easily done by signage or personal. This station is not the best; some of the staff are rude or ignorant. The auto carwash is poor and I have got fed up trying to speak to Morrison's about in. They just don't care. Went to the new Sainsburys on Melton Road, friendly staff even when busy today. It had all I needed and actually better pumps. Also, they do Nectar points didn't know that but they will now get my business which is over 6k a year in petrol alone.

Service can Be excellently or horrendous depends who you get. Great supermarket though. Competitive prices

My brother and I took our mother shopping and for lunch at Morrisons in December. We found the café quite busy but got a table without having to wait. We ordered 3 lots of Fish & Chips, tea, and bread + butter from the specials menu and were very pleased with the service and food. We were in a supermarket café and were not expecting anything out of the ordinary but thought it was great value, clean, tidy and a good experience.

Our granddaughter prefers the Morrison's restaurant to many others, given the choice. They have a good lunchtime menu for adults and children - including fruit, main course and drink for the children. Service was good and quite efficient given they were busy. The food was appetising and thoroughly enjoyed. Hot drinks are from a machine, but still very tasty, The place is very popular and understandably so.

Recently refurbished, typical of Morrisons cafe. Service quick and efficient. Does tend to get busy on thurs/fridays.

Called in for 3 meals. Service was quick and efficient. Food came quickly and was cooked. Would recommend for a reasonable priced lunch.

Promt service and tidy, pretty much as expected from a supermarket cafe. Coffee was self service from fresh ground beans.

Great cafe, great food, great prices, great staff. ...This leaves many others way behind certainly good value and excellent quality love it. Children eat free after 3pm and you can have a sweet for £1 with a meal Morrisons have got it right

Had a refurb food quite good and reasonable. Need to get used to the layout. God for a coffee and a snack after shopping or before.

This Supermarket has the worst fuel station in Nottingham.The question is, a fuel station or a tuck shop?

What's to say, expensive, untidy and rubbish service. Might as well set fire to money instead of spend it here.

I use this place regularly either for breakfast, coffee with friends or just for a cup of tea whilst reading the paper. The range and quality of food and drink is always good, the service is quick and friendly and it is cracking value. Occasionally there are spillages but these are almost always where the customers have been careless and then not reported the need for cleaning to the staff. Once staff spot anything amiss, or are informed of an issue, they are very quick to sort it out. Add in the big, free car park and you can see why there are so many regular customers of all ages who frequent this bright and airy cafe.

We always go there as it is a good value for money and the quality is very good. we visit this once a week always.

Terrible. Surly staff, spillages everywhere, no help available at the self-service because the staff are too busy chatting to each other... just a standard Morrisons really. If it was only Safeway again - now that place was a triumph!

Great service from all staff, some could do with smiling more though! Great selection of foods and at a very reasonable price. Keep up the good work

I visited the restaurant last Friday. I saw the offer, "Buy a hot drink a get a pastry for 50P". I chose my pastry, my hot drink and approached the till. Only to be told that the offer is only for the pecan plaits. However, every other Morrison's that I have visited allow the offer on any pastry as per advert.
