We were the first couple there ordered 2 bacon sandwiches they were fast but it was cold I would rather wait until it’s freshly cooked, this is not the first time as we have had full breakfast a few times and it’s been cold why not cook to order come on Morrisons actual food good just cold

Missing items and undercooked food! Relieved poached aggs instead of the scrambled eggs I ordered with no apology! Avoid, avoid, avoid

I called the Barnsley store to order my Mum an afternoon tea to collect. I am in another part of the country so way to to pop into the store. Jo couldn’t have been more helpful, professional and friendly. I’m sure my mum will love it when she collects on Friday. Thank you Jo. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is disgusting me and my mum came here today and had a burger and chips each the burger and chips were Burt it took ages I’m telling you now we won’t be coming here again

Worst breakfast ever! Cheap sausages. Dried up bacon and small. Deep fried - fried bread and it was a crust. I was offered a tiny sachet of tomato or brown sauce. Only one or the other. Paid extra for black pudding, that had been in the warmer for a week -dried up. Coffee reasonable. Staff not that helpful or friendly either. This was 8 o'clock in the morning and I did wonder why there were no other tradesmen in. Awful!!

This cafe is so hit and miss. One day the food is good the next it's awful. Pot luck in which you will get. So inconsistent. The tables are generally unclean and food on the floor. The staff are NOT to blame they work hard but often understaffed. Sort it out Morrisons. Your prices don't reflect the poor quality it is some days.

Really nice breakfast, friendly customer assistants in cafe, shop, value for money generally and good variety, visit regularly, up until recently after parking fine

I popped in here for a full English breakfast on 13 May 2022. As you arrive there is a screen to order your food. I persevered with that and entered my order. At the very end of this process the machine requires a table number, which of course I didn’t have! So I paid at the till (as did everyone else) How daft is that system? I then collected my coffee from the coffee stand. Coffee was absolutely fine but the saucer was dirty and the tray was also dirty. Next for the cutlery stand. Clean enough but the cheapest cutlery imaginable. Finally the food. Arrived very promptly and was nice and fresh and warm. Overall average.

On my last visit Covid restrictions were being ignored with long unsupervised ques down the aisles. Today different again in spite of store being very busy. The lady supervising the tills was very quietly and effectively keeping the ques under control and distanced. Well done and thank you I felt very safe today.

The usual for Morrison’s. I always think it’s such a shame as it could be so much better. Customer service let’s it down every time for me. Waiting for cutlery, sauces to be filled etc. The food was what we expected.

We called in for our breakfast, it was the big breakfast. It was nice, however it wasn't that hot plus the poach egg which my partner had was well overdone.

Poached eggs like bullets, bacon undercooked toast cold. They replaced it but the toast was cold, bacon burnt and my coffee was cold by the time I received it. Gone downhill

We popped into Morrisons for breakfast on Sunday morning! The food is OK, but nothing special. It is however very good value for money and set us up nicely for the day ahead!

we ordered at 5:25pm and didn’t het out food until around 6pm. I ordered the hunters chicken but it had no bacon, I asked for no coleslaw but they still put it on and the chips were all scraps. I then asked ordered the cookie dough but they were out of that as well and the cashier was laughing about it. Not a good visit.

Morrisons serve good meals at a very resonable price. The service is sometimes not as good as you may expect at busy times but generally good. They always have special offers for various meals which are good value. It is good that you can drop in for a meal while out shopping so would recommend you give it a try.

Came to Morrisons for the kids eat free with an adult meal. Great value however after 5pm there is nothing left! I ordered the salmon...there was none, ok a burger...no burgers...a toastie...none. I asked what else was available and ended up with scampi and chips. It was ok typical frozen cafe food and my daughter had sausage and chips. Would go again perhaps if I fancied a coffe and a cake whilst out shopping.

Since the change in decor, the cafe has got entirely better. Service has got better and so has the waiting times, used to hate coming here due to the waiting times, but we go every Friday and the service is next-to-instant. Food is frozen but it's nice, and cooked properly. Would recommend to anyone. Well done guys.

I've been glad of this place a few times when visiting Barnsley. Simple cafe fayre, but nice enough, and very inexpensive.

My wife and I both had a very nice salmon sandwich with a pot of tea However the floor of the restaurant needed sweeping - otherwise nice surroundings Good value for money

Not too bad if you pick the right meal. Can't realy complain for a cheapo breakfast. But you could ring the fat out of the slice of fried bread. Toast the same. Like I say don't complain for the monney. Just very unhealthy

No han sido aquí durante años, a menudo a Cafetería supermercado wakefield y tienen el mismo ya que hemos tenido hoy. Ambos cafés han sido modernizados, ahora tienen sillas que no están pegados a las mesas o en el suelo, mucho mejor, especialmente si estás con alguien que es discapacitado y no puede contort su cuerpo en el pequeño espacio entre la mesa y la silla. La comida no era buena, no sé si están teniendo un mal día. Y patatas fritas, ordenados cigalas cigalas caliente, patatas fritas y guisantes debe haber sido de miedo de la olla, patatas fritas no prueba el aceite caliente. Postre refresco tomó 35 minutos en la mesa de poner la placa número en el nuevo titular de la red poco teteras y esto llevó la intervención de un miembro del personal a ver si nos falta algo de nuestra orden. El asistente no decir que había habido un problema con el ordenador, estábamos listos para salir, así que tomemos nuestros helados con cucharas, tenía estos en una distribución por nuestro viaje. Se me va aquí sin, que es lo que he dicho al asistente, voy dejar tu cucharas en Wakefield en mi próxima visita. La cola para conseguir una tetera llena y luego hacer cola para conseguir azúcar, leche, etc., podrían ser peligrosos condimentos si estaba lleno, con servicio de comida y como hoy no creo que sería.

Just off the town centre it's quite convenient to get to. The good is priced ok although you seem to get a lot more for your money at Aldi. There's s good range of products here. The parking is very adequate and always enough trolleys. You always get a refund for your car parking when you hand the ticket in.

I like the new look restaurant but unfortunately, the service has not improved.You stand at the till waiting to order your hot meal and pay and you wait and you wait. Very poor. Yesterday one man shouted extremely loud for staff attention while waiting and still no immediate response. Staff are either hiding in the kitchen or clearing tables. The food is very average and the wait long even when it is not full.

Me and hubby went other sat morning for breakfast ya normally get a drink included with breakfast not here pay extra for every thing small breakfast pay extra get big one it wernt very hot so wont be goin here again

Nice clean place do lots of offers and lots of choise fish pie burger nice cakes and kids meals after 3 kids eat free and two meals and a drink two kids meals and drinks only cost £9 altogether good saves cooking

The fish and chips used to be filling, however now, the portions seem smaller and the chips taste as if they have been warmed up several times or cooked and kept warm. Service is not consistent. The person operating the till is often 'missing' and waiting for them to appear is mind numbing. You can also wait ages for the food to be brought out.However, if you just want tea/coffee and a cake it's ok although I do wish they would bring back the lemon cake which was delicious.

I have tried most cafe's in Barnsley and was very pleasantly surprised when I visited Morrisons for a small lunch. The service was excellent and the food was nice and fresh. The cafe is clean and pleasant and the prices are definitely value for money. Don' t expect five star qulity as this is when all said and done a supermarket but it is definitely well worth a visit.

Meals are cooked to order very nice and fresh down side if u go at tea time there can be quiet a wait kids eat free at tea time which makes eating out a little cheaper

Seems like they have followed suit of ASDA and Tesco by hiking the price in their cafe. Paid £1.75 today for a really small late. Why are supermarkets following the high prices of big chain coffee shops? We are sorry Morrison's it won't do. You have lost our business from now on.

If you want a drink and snack then fine.its your normal supermarket cafe.pleasant staff and clean environment but as for taste,you may as well buy a ready meal and take it home for the extra 10 mins it would take you.

I shop at Morris ons and regularly visit the cafe. I can't understand why the service is so good here yet so slow at Cortonwood. I've stopped going in the cafe at Cortonwood!

theres nothing bad about the store in barnsley, its the same as every other one. good shop, decent parking, nice restaurant, and petrol station. you have to pay for parking but its re-imbursed in store, plus its town centre so easily accessible .

I had salmon mash and peas the salmon was very nice but a lot better when it was new potatoes with it as the café cant make mash, it was grey and horrible I should have sent it back but you just don't go back again very off putting thanks
