Morrisons in North Norfolk

Popped in for Sunday lunch. It was dreadful! Cold limp veg,cold roast potatoes ,the veg looked like it had been taken off someone else's plate after they had finished with it.The only good bit was the lump of beef.

Called in for lunch today with my wife. Difficult to find a vacant table, not because the place was busy but due to the fact that the tables hadn't been cleared. Ordered food and was advised on 15 mins wait. No cups available and no cutlery, had to wait for some to be washed. Food arrived 40 minutes later and was luke warm upon arrival and my Wife's baked potato was under cooked. More reasons not to eat at Morrisons.

2 members of staff that are always rude are on today againwaiting for gas to be refilled for fizzy drinks not happening have to use self service even though till is working

Got a fond spot for Fakenham Morrisons Cafe. The food is not great quality, half the time the tables aren''t cleared, and often the service is grim-faced and slow; but... more often than rarely it's far better than that and someone is there who really does their job well, efficiently, with a smile, and take an interest in the folk they meet. Today was such a day - and on top of that it is such good value! As I said, got a soft spot for the old place.

It was terrible ordered a hot chocolate went to the machine and was not working, so I opted for a cold drink and the lady said yeah that was fine but I said there was a price difference. In the end. She did go and get the manager who gave me a full refund of £2 and when my breakfast arrived. It looked okay until I realised there was a hair on it. When I said to the waitress about the hair. She just looked at me with discussed and removed the hair and put it on the floor and I said I’m not eating that I want a fresh breakfast the look she gave me was not very pleasant but she did take it away and bring me a new breakfast, but it did take 45 minutes to arrive and it wasn’t even busy people who ordered after us were served before us. I don’t think we’ll be going back there in a hurry.

I visited the Fakenham cafe for a breakfast while my wife shopped unfortunately she had completed her shop before my sausage bap had arrived 45 minutes for a sausage bap is far too long , the restaurant wasn’t even busy. Never seems to have enough staff on duty one lady seems to cook and serve all on her own. The coffee machines have been broken now for 2 weeks store is going down hill fast

Ordered a full breakfast bacon rear sausages not cooked properly just full of grease hash brown really hard egg like rubber ment to be toast i think not whole breakfast unedable waited 30 mins for

Very cold, like walking into a fridge. Had to put my coat and gloves on. Went for a hot cup of coffee to warm upthat was like drinking cold milk. Not as good as the one in king's lynn, shall not be going back in there. Was going to do a weekly shop didn't bother.

My children love it here so asked to come for lunch during the half term. We ordered using the touch screen. Very quick and easy to use.. Good came out very quickly and was all correct and looked as it should. Looking forward to returning.

Burnt inedible food no service and dirty tables, we won’t be in a hurry to return. Shame as it’s cheap

Food was cold, staff were rude and absolutley no apologies for the awful meal we had. Would not return

Visited here with my 2 children as a breakfast treat. Ordered using the touch screen. Was very easy to use. Disappointed they have taken the smaller breakfast off the menu. But made our own using the extras section. Food arrived fairly quickly and everything was as it should be. Thanks. Will return.

I booked an online delivery a week ago for the next available slot and booked a home delivery for 24/01/2021 between 17:00 and 18:00. At 18L:30, after several attempts to speak to someone about my delivery, I finally spoke to a young lady. She told me that the van had not left the depot and I should expect my delivery by 21:00. I received an email a few minutes later to tell me that items (more than half of my £229.00 shop) was not in stock. My wife ordered food for my birthday on 25/01/21 but it was all missing. I am unable to go out to shop because I don't drive and I am classed as medically "vulnerable". I will not be shopping with Morrisons ever again.

Well done Morrisons for taking the lead regarding the wearing of masks in your stores. NO MASK....NO SHOPPING. It's about time that someone dealt with the element of people who think rules dont apply to them. Covid kills people so we wear a mask to protect other people. How selfish to refuse to wear one.

Food was ok and the staff very good, felt a little squashed and cafe was a little messy, however staff were friendly

Just went to grab some food quickly,fish was oily, chips tasted microwaved or had been sat around for a long time and was luke warm. My partner ordered a chicken burger in which they said they had none 10 minutes later. He then asks them to change it to 2 beef patties, the chef dropped one so one came out and had to wait a further 5 minutes for the other to be brought out. Took about 45 minutes in total to get our food.Drink sizes are a joke, a large soft drink is just a tiny bigger than a McDonald's small cup, no kids, no straws. Soda pump for Coke zero was broken and no sign to say so! All in all know I won't be going there again. Wwhtherspoons costs the same and total different experience! Think a manager needs to address issues and do an assessment!

A typical Morrisons Cafeteria. Filling food at a very reasonable price. Husband felt his gammon was not the best and my meal was so outstanding I can't remember what I ordered! However, it is what it is and very good value.

My wife and I were looking for a quick light lunch and finished up feeling full and being well satisfied. We chose 3 bangers, mash, peas and gravy and Lamb Shank, mash, peas and gravy. Total price £8.40!! 2 baguettes from a coffee shop would have cost this!! The cafe was busy but the delivery of food was quite prompt. A tip for quick service is to use the "self ordering and paying machine" as the order goes directly to the kitchen rather than queueing to order at the till.

Me and my daughter stopped here for breakfast thinking we would have a quick service. We were told it was roughly a 20 minute wait. It wasn't busy and there was food on the counter so thought it might be quicker. We waited about half an hour. I wish we hadn't. Everything was over cooked, cheap tasting and greasy! Never again.

My daughter and I stopped here for breakfast and it was lovely. Staff were friendly and the food was served quickly and tastes great. Will definitely return. Thank you. :)

If you want a hearty full (very full) English this is worth the visit. It’s cheap n cheerful decent supermarket fare which is well cooked and came quickly. The cafe queuing system itself isn’t very well organised but the introduction of interactive automatic ordering is very efficient. Overall a good experience which set us up for the day.

We shop in Morrisons all the time but haven't used the cafe until the other day. As we were leaving we noticed a lady eating fish and chips, it looked so good we couldn't resist.We were so surprised at the quality and the cooking of the meal, it was truly some of the best fish and chips we have ever had.It was cheaper than we have ever paid for the same elsewhere and I have to say we were quite shocked at how tasty it was.The cafe is clean, the staff are all lovely and its all cooked to order and we didn't have to wait very long at all.I can honestly say, credit where it is due, this is a hidden gem. Well done Morrisons Fakenham cafe!

Had the 2 x adult meals and 2 kids meals for £10, this included 4 drinks and fruit for kids, the meals were full size and not skimped on. Definitely good value for money, You could double up the burger for £1 and order large fish for same price, You get a regular drink, fizzy, tea or coffee. The only thing is if my hubby and i went on our own and ordered same thing, we would pay over £10 for meals plus drink on top, doesnt seem fair if you havent got grandkids to nab and treat.

Had lunch in the Malvern store we had cheese toastie well that's what we ordered after standing at counter for 10 minutes no one serving. What eventually arrived at our table was poor quality bread barely toasted so cheese was cold and hadn't even begun to melt the chips were cold and chewy it was served with a salad garnish and coleslaw and those were the only items I ate. Then we had to queue again to use the machine to get a pot of tea. Will not be returning

Not enough staff for the work load. One staff member trying to take orders, clear tables and serve food on more than one visit. Order salmon, fisf fine, potatoes reheated and shriveled, peas barely cooked, wanted to send it back but husband wants a quiet life! Long wait for food much longer than was told. I would have complained but with the lack of staff they were trying their best. I looked like slave labour and several of the other customers agreed. Felt for the staff and am not likely to go back for more than a coffee, not very gluten free friendly, they do sell the food in the shop.

On every occasion that I have eaten in the cafe in Loughborough, the food has been piping hot, and really delicious. It’s inexpensive too. The tables are kept clean, the service is efficient, and the staff have a smile. Thanks Morrison’s!

Why did I suggest going to Morrison’s Cambuslang for breakfast? Because I’m a numpty that’s why! Trays were filthy, teapots didn’t have a knob on the top to lift lid, cups weren’t washed properly, the girl on the till taking our order, her attitude left a lot to be desired. Food when it came was lukewarm.

Cold Scrambled eggs which were made with reconstituted egg. Plus we ordered Fried Egg. Burnt hash browns Butter running out of paper because it was put on top of toast. Beans cold Tomato ice cold and rock hard. Only thing that was edible was the sausage Tables were dirty. Also we waited 30 minutes for this to arrive. This is at Kendal Store

Came into the cafe for breakfast before what we knew was going to be long day. We both had the ‘big breakfast’ staff were friendly and happily changed a few things like no mushrooms for me and we both wanted toast instead of fried bread. Lovely, tasty. Good coffee too and dirt cheap

Loads of people got their food before us even tho we’d been there for about 3 and a half hours, and their mushrooms were horrible they looked like my nans earlobes

Ordered a large and small breakfast waited 25 minutes when it came it was cold and was not cooked properly I ordered a round of toast did not received it I will not eat in there again

Since 2000 we have traveled the 26 m of our shopping round trip to do our "weekly shop" at Morrisons in Stamford,for the first years of our shop, the shop and lunch was very good, after the long standing manager moved to another store the cafe side of Stamford

Morrison’s cafe at Cribbs Causeway has to be the pits. Our 2 small breakfasts took 1/2 hour to arrive ,which was just at the point we were going to tell them not to bother, and the greeting from the waitress who delivered the unappetising plate of items was “ you look bored” with that she left. Not one table was clean all had 1/2 eaten plates of food, cups and general rubbish,floor was covered in empty sugar bags, kitchen roll as there were no napkins spilt milk and various bits of food and all the time we were there not one person attempted to clean the mess.

Preston Morrison. Disorganised. Coffee machines not working. Staff not on order counter. Shouting in kitchen. No kids sandwiches at lunchtime. Just observed staff throwing food in plain sight of us. Restocking crisps when other foodstuffs were empty. Not impressed.

Waited nearly an hour for 2 kids cheese burgers chips and beans and 2 jacket potatoes.

Tasty food but fairly basic, normally quite noisy and busy. I have eaten breakfast and lunch there, it's handy to pop in if you're doing your shopping there.

Went to Ripon Morrison's and got some food in the cafe, egg on toast ,cheese and bacon burger , they had no margarine for toast (even though loads on shelf) , no bacon on burger sent it back ,then discovered no onion rings or bbq sauce on burger sent it back , chips were cold ,could not be bothered this time , then I saw cook wipe probe down here top are probing food . Come on Morrison's , won't be back

Popped into Morrison’s cafe today for lunch every thing was super, food very hot and delicious, the manager was a very nice lady. All the staff where very nicely turned out, price very cheap

Have morrisons within walking distance so often pop down for lunch, good food for good price. Never had a bad meal . Fish and chips and macoroni cheese out favourite. Very much on par with beefeater group and cheaper. Nice staff , sometimes could do with some more to help with tables as some people to lazy to put their plates on the tray and put into tray holder so that others can sit and eat

Not really a one for supermarket meal but as we were shopping we thought we would try a breakfast got to big breakfasts, totally disgusting no bread wanted extra money for black pudding extra money for toast, so how was it a big breakfast, never again.

Food was cold when served. One of the waitresses was really friendly but the other was very patronising. Waited ages for deserts. Wouldn't go to this cafe again

Morrisons do great breakfasts so as we were shopping around lunchtime I thought we would have lunch in there canteen, never agan, we had fish chips and peas, there was a 25 minute wait for food so I thought it would at least be fresh and hot, boy was I wrong, the fish was warmish, but the peas and chips were stone cold. such a shame as I enjoy the breakfasts but that has put me off.

We mostly do our weekly shopping on a Sunday. Sometimes in the morning and sometimes at lunch time. Your store in Peterborough is very convenient for us. So it is breakfast or lunch first before we shop.

He comido varias veces en mi Local Morrisons y en mi última visita sobre hace dos semanas, me apetecía pescado y patatas fritas. . Pedí la porción menor ya que sólo tienen un pequeño apetito, me dijeron que no tenían ninguna pequeñas raciones sólo el gran tamaño adulto. . Aparentemente había acabado de este tamaño. . Así que yo tenía que tener el tamaño grande. . Lo que no entiendo es que no podían hacer el gran tamaño sólo pequeñas. . Es un desperdicio, ya que terminan arrojando. . También, cada y cada vez que voy allí tengo guisantes donde siempre han mezclado con guisantes nuevos y muy a menudo se han servido frío. . Además, el pescado estaba bien, pero las patatas fritas son bastante difíciles, y seco. En el lado positivo, te dan una taza de té gratis. No he probado la comida ya que soy vegetariana, así que estoy basando mi visita en lo que he tenido y que es pescado y patatas fritas, y a veces gambas y patatas fritas.

Pleenty of parking, good choice of everything, good restaurant, we were caravaning nearby and their range of ready meals was excellent.

Great for a quick naughty treat. We went for a breakfast/brunch, service was ok, most was very good value and food good. It was very busy so must be great.

Morrisons is value for money in this little cafe.... But i must say the fish although small is cheap and taste so fresh that it fresher than morrisons fish counter.

Vamos a Morrisons bastante a menudo cuando vamos de compras. La comida siempre es buena, a veces se quedaron sin comida en el menú pero que siempre pueden ocurrir. En ocasiones hay una larga espera pero hacen su mejor y siempre amable. La comida siempre ha sido genial y recién hecha y caliente a fuego lento, como debe ser. Relación calidad-precio.

Fue festivo el lunes, así que quizás escaso? Necesitábamos un lugar rápido para parar a almorzar. Caminamos después de unas cuantas mesas sucias (algunos con bandejas y tazas o platos) antes de asentarse en una mesa por algunos sillones rojos. A los lados del asiento...

Almorzamos aquí con mis padres mientras están de vacaciones en la zona. Los padres tenían salmón, tuve pierna de cordero, £5 y todo estaba delicioso y caliente. Nos aconsejaron cuando ordene que podíamos añadir un postre para £1 cada una. Elegimos pudin y apple cayera, ambas con helado, que me recomendaron fueron ambos muy bonita, y un refresco de fresa que era agradable, pero no excepcional. Todos disfrutamos de nuestras comidas y pensamos que una excelente relación calidad-precio.

It was ok food was good I suppose but one of my sausages was cold however I really liked it and also good staff

I have used this place so many times its untrue. When I worked on the dustcarts we used this once a fortnight on a Friday morning me & the 2 other boys on my crew for 3/4 years...What has jogged my memory is funnily enough yesterday I stopped on way home over the road & the realised I had never reviewed this place 5 of us stopped here this morning & had breakfast & the "FULL MONTY" is still as good as it ever was Highly recommended for breakfast its as good as its ever been very reasonable price as well.

On our way home from holiday in Blakeney, we usually go to the pub for the full English breakfast so that we don't need to eat until teatime. This time we decided to try Morrisons for breakfast & were happily surprised by the value & quality. The usual cost for two people would have been about £20 including coffee or tea, whereas this was £13.We'll be back!

Pleasant enough supermarket cafe. Sausages (3), egg, chips and beans for £4.00. If you're lucky you'll find a cleared and wiped table but pretty much OK. Sausages were very overcooked to almost black which is how I like them but my companion was less impressed. Staff pleasant enough.

I had the big breakfast ( one fried egg is not a big portion )The mushrooms could have been better but the fried slice and hash browns made up for them. however the bacon was awful, dry as leather and slimy with cold grease, obviously reheated.The cafe was not very busy but it was a long wait.I will not return with my wife who wisely chose cake. ( it was 2pm which made me worry when my bacon was actually cooked.)

On holiday with Friends we visited to buy food for rest of our stay, the whole time i was in there everyone kept bashing into me all the time. I hardly saw any staff on shop floor on a busy Saturday! Went through the checkout and the woman did not look happy to be in her job! She looked bored! The only word she said to me was, quietly, "do u want a bag for your salad" and the price! Average kind of morrisons and glad this is not my local!! Sorry! Improvements need to be made!

Needed something quickly so combined or meal with shopping - 4 in our party who all selected something different from the menu. Service was quick and food good - excellent value for money. Visited during quieter period so don't know what its like when it gets busy.

This is a nice place to eat considering it is a supermarket, the food is cooked to order so takes a little time but the breakfasts are great value.

Lovely little cafe often visit here after doing some food shopping , lovely food always good food , always a long wait for food however i always forget when the food arrives !

Typical Morrisons cafe. No frills but very good value for breakfast / dinner when you have a large brood to feed.

We always visit the Morrisons cafe after a bit of bird watching nearby (and to shop of course). Well cooked, down to earth meals at a more than reasonable price.

Good supermarket fantastic bakery friendly helpful staff good choice of vegan foodstuffs and excellent prices too!

Visited at 1320 , asked for a big breakfast, was told there was at least a 30 minute wait even though the café was not busy with many empty tables and lots of staff. Didn't wait and people on 2 other tables we spoke to as we left had same complaint , one couple had to wait 45 minutes for their meals and then were missing their garlic bread.Could not understand the delay as most of the Big Breakfast items {sausages, bacon etc} were pre cooked in trays and just needed plating.

Had some food here (fri 8/7) service was good and food tasty and hot and as it was busy expected to wait a while but it arrived quickly. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. Will do this again soon.

Yes it's a supermarket cafe, and yes the ambience is defined by the view a line of trolleys outside the window. Yes the service is just about OK, and yes the food is er...undemanding; but... I genuinely have a soft spot for the place. There are plenty of tables and seats, the menu is unsophisticated but varied enough for most tastes, the queues are rarely onerous, the service is perfectly adequate, and the food is delivered hot and pretty swiftly. In most respects it's pretty much OK. We go semi-frequently and a cheap sausage, egg, chips and beans (with all the condiments and sauces you want thrown in for free) for under £4 goes down a treat. Recommend avoiding the peak-time lunch period 12:30pm-1:30pm-ish as trade does pick up considerably, but apart from that it's perfectly fine. Tables are occasionally pre-crumbed but no great problems. Get in, get some nosh, then do the shop. Nice.

I stopped here for a quick bite with my 2 girls as we were food shopping and needed a light bite. I was really impressed with the food especially for the price. It was piping hot and nicely presented and the portions were just right. I haven't eaten here for a long time as I was very disappointed when I last did but things have really improved so I'll definitely consider eating here again if I need a light meal.

Serving staff reluctant to recognise waiting customers. Staff flustered and only just coping with demand despite high staff to diner ratio. Food no cheaper than at other establishments in the town. Dirty tables, both napkin boxes empty (had to ask). Sloppy beef lasagne served with pappy garlic bread. Constant annoying, unintelligible staff announcements over the PA system and dire piped music in the background. Not even up to the standards of a basic transport cafe.

Obviously the add-on to the store, but useful for quick meals. Very nice all day breakfasts with veggie options.

Go here quite often. The toast is always burnt. The eggs are always solid yolks or snotty and undercooked and if you order extras they always forget them. It ok it will do but could be way better. And you only get a tiny portion of mushrooms.

It was a drizzly day on our holiday, we had aimed to go to Fakenham but with a disabled Husband and two dogs it was not a good idea with today's weather. We needed to shop haven't been in a Morrisons for a number of years so decided to do this, hopefully allowing time for the weather to clear. There were a number of people waiting at the counter so I joined them, having looked round I decided to get a bite to eat so looked through the packed sandwiches and selected egg assortment and a Danish pastry for us to share. I then approached where I thought the drinks were being served only to find out it's a machine, you pick a cup and press a button for your drink! I had to pick through the cups that had just been put out as most were still dirty (out of the dishwasher and clearly not checked!) imagine my surprise, no decaf latte choice, so had to have normal latte. I then waited to pay for this, arrived at the checkout and the exact words were you need crisps to go with that! I said sorry to go with what, your sandwich, right, she then barked they are part of a deal, oh right where are the crisps, so without further words pointed to the sandwich chiller (are crisps normally kept in the chiller, I don't at home?) I then selected a bag of crisps and paid. No plate was provided for the sandwiches! The food was okay and I'm being polite, the coffee was the most bitter disgusting coffee we had ever had, the aftertaste felt like someone had grabbed hold of you by the throat and shook you!!! The tables were clean but the floor looked very tired and was grubby where the brush or Hoover didn't fit through.Whilst she obviously knows the Cafe deals it would be nice to have said, did you realise the sandwiches are on a meal deal and you get crisps provided, they are in the fridge with the sandwiches if you need them. It wasn't great customer service at all. I then shopped in the store and got the same attitude and response from the cooked chicken counter, when asking for a large cooked chicken, they are cheaper on the table, what table? The table that was in the fruit and veg aisle, oh silly me!!!! It will be a lot of years till I shop at a Morrisons again. It's not rocket science surely, maybe the staff as as tired as the store and cafe look!!!It was cold outside and the air on was blowing a gale, it felt like December people were sat eating with their coats on!!!

Very good for a quick snack also for a meal, the fish and chips are great and the breakfasts are exceptional.

This is one of four Morrisons stores that we use in Norfolk and for both shopping and cheap eats is my favourite. Not as crowded as Cromer and better car park and garage than Dereham it suits our needs and the restaurant is light and clean and the service is ok dependant on the time of day my tip is to avoid 1 o'clock and the after school rush when kids can eat free with a paying adult . The breakfast is good and items can be added to taste and produce the breakfast you want. It's not worth buying the ingredients and putting the cooker on before shopping when two can have full English and a drink for less than £10 . For lunch and evening meals there is always an offer on but at full price the food is normally hot tasty and remarkably cheap. They say you spend less on the weekly shop if you don't do it when you are hungry it does not take mucih in the way of savings to recoup the cost of a meal for two and saves cooking when you get home. Sometimes I sit in the cafe while the good lady shops,their self service coffee machines produce an acceptable latte for around a £1 there is normally a newspaper around give it a try. When we are travelling around the country we look for supermarkets to pull in get fuel a drink use the toilets and park free to have a quick look around not much use in Fakenham as its too far out but excellent in both Dereham and Cromer .

The food is so shockingly bad, if I had a dog at home, I wouldn't feed him the food served at this store. I ordered a light breakfast, so nothing fancy, or so one would have thought. The sausage looked like it had been incinerated by a volcano & the bacon was like leather. Everything was overcooked or burnt except the toast, but that was soggy and sad and lacking the will to even entice me to eat it!If you have taste buds, don't eat at Morrison's. The one in Cheadle heath, Stockport is just as bad.

always stop here for a cheap dinner if we come in to do our shop, portions are always big for the price, not your typical fine dinning restaurant ... however means you don't get the kind of people you find in them either :) hahaha, thank you little café :)

Had to visit Fakenham and found a Morrisons. Large car park. Cafe on left as you walk in opposite tills. Fish and chips were gorgeous. After a mishap with the wrong breakfast it tasted great with buttery toast. Staff attitudes were mixed. Clean and tidy.
