I visited for lunch with my son and mother. Struggled to find a clean table. Limited cutlery and most tables needed cleaning. Eventually when the food arrived it was only just warm and my sons fish was thick batter,curled up and hardly any fish.When we asked for it to be changed we were told that the cook had stated they would fry another but it would be exactly the same? Terrible value for money and awful customer service.will not even be shopping here again let alone eating!

I have my Morrison’s shopping delivered most weeks but this is the first time I have come across half a bottle of Fanta in my food delivery! I didn’t order the Fanta but it looks like whoever was picking and packing my goods forgot to take out the half drank bottle of Fanta! What with covid this surprised me that this is allowed to happen! Very disappointed!

Visited for lunch food awful manager she was unfriendly and staff skagging off kelvin a member of staff in from of customers to her not a nice experience at all

Worse breakfast iv ever had bacon literally snapped in half, black pudding like a frisbee even my dog wouldn't fetch, eggs hard boiled, freezing cold and totally dried up, they forgot my toast and then pulled thier faces when I asked about it, male staff member pretty rude and intimidating didnt even give me chance to finish ordering my food at the machine before badgering me about the track and trace then stood uncomfortably right behind me watching wat I wrote over my shoulder. Other people in cafe not happy either ! NEVER AGAIN

Ordered food at 1.50 children had lunch boxes with bits missing at 2.39 a female came to the table with hands on hips saying no muffins for the egg & avocado no scrambled egg or poached eggs just fryed one male went on his lunch while the ques were massive attitude and commitment to the job is paramount & most of the staff here don't have any and manners are totally non existent

Been here once before and was not the best food or service so a few months later we walked by and thought we will try again. The lady taking the other was plain rude rushing it and got items wrong so after a 20 minute wait (fair enough time) we received wrong items so I had to send my food back and she bit my head off telling me I'd have to wait 20 minutes again and slammed the food back on her tray and kept eye balling me the rest of my visit when it was her mistake. Food was basically burnt or dry and cutlery was all disgustingly dirty. Definitely wont give it another chance again

I went into this supermarket to buy a sandwich. However as I was leavingI walked past the security who made intimidating and aggressive obscene noises as I walked past. As an autistic male I can only assume that the 'bored' security guard singled me out for intimidation because I looked an easy-target.

I've been several times just incase it was a "one off" where the food was unconsumable but not the case, constantly poor and no good mentioning to the floor staff as it's not there fault, food has always come out stone cold, either over or under cooked and just duped on the plate which is such a shame as ive gone to other Morrisons and the quality has been acceptable. Time to get some staff with quaifications that understand the importance of good food

Called in for Tea before doing the weekly shop. "2fish and chips please" sorry no fish. Ok 2 salmon please, sorry no salmon . How can a supermarket have no fish or salmon ?. Anyway ended up with 2 scampi and chips. COLD mushy peas, COLD chips but hot scampi. You've got to blame the staff , why don't they test food before it goes out ? Or do they just give up after 5 ? This is the third time now we've had cold or " just aired" meals. Not good enough !!!!

Came here for breakfast, and it was cold. This is the second time we had breakfast in Morrison, and the first one was cold, as well. Definitely won’t be having breakfast there again.

i thought it was reasonably tided in there food is not student friendly or benefit friendly you have to have proper money go in there and also more security i have been many times and people have been up to grabbing cause prices are madness

I have used this cafe a few times and on the last few occasions have noticed how grubby it is. The cafe has a 5 star food hygiene certificate but, looking at the food stained overalls of the staff, I find this hard to believe. The tables looked like they've been wiped down with an old oil rag and the cutlery still had dried food on them. Today I thought I'd try the eggs Benedict only to find that the cafe that is situated inside Morrisons Supermarket had run out of sauce!! How is this possible? You're inside a bloody supermarket!! I certainly won't be eating in this cafe again and neither should anyone else for that matter, just check the reviews out and be warned, this really is a dirty poorly run food establishment.

We ordered sandwich platters, wraps and cakes for our golden wedding afternoon tea celebration. Easy to order and collect and the food tasted as good as it looked. Caroline was very helpful on the deli counter. Highly recommended and everyone was amazed by the food especially the carrot cake gateau. Thanks for the service.

I never come here expecting much, but sometimes (but more and more often) they excel themselves in awfulness. Today was one such experience. Burnt sausages, bacon tougher than leather, fried bread that would be better described as DEEP-fried bread (totally inedible). To get my orange juice (their 'large' is what most of us would call a 'taster', by the way), I had to ask two separate employees, each of whom told me a totally different story, passing the buck to the other one. Eventually that arrived just as I was finishing my food (you have to eat fast or it'll be cold). All for £6.20. What a waste.

Ordered sausage, egg, chips and beans for two the food was barely edible. The sausage must have been cooked at least twice they were dry and shrivelled up, the beans were cold but stuck to the plate, the egg was like rubber! Fried eggs are supposed to be runny not hard and the chips well... dreadful. We won’t return in a hurry, much room for improvement.

Good supermarket handily on the town so you can nip up the high street and still have time to come back and shop plus have a bite to est

If ever there was a place to make you think about taking your own packed lunch and eating it in the car park this is it.

Never had such a disgusting meal. We had fish chips and peas. Fish was awful. Black inside. Cold peas chips greasy . Staff untrained especially the cook. Couldn't use the word chef. So disorganised. Where is the management. Food should carry a health warning. Had food here before , was awful. Just thought we'd try again after 12 months. Very very disappointed. We shop here all the time. Great supermarket. I can't understand why the food is diabolical. Why morrisons why?

I always shop here, there’s always a bargain to be had with fresh fruit and veg always available. My personal favourite is the bakery that makes the pies, pasties and sausage rolls.

Not bad. Not outstanding. It's Morrisons. For convenience's sake, it is handy. Otherwise forgettable.

Only ever called into the cafe on a few occasions, I don’t like to complain so I left it but hope you take this as positive criticism , I had a breakfast, which can’t usually go wrong, eggs were covered in oil still or grease, bacon was cold, beans were all dried up and had a hair in, chips were cold, asked for no mushroom and tomato, chips has tomato pips all over them, also asked for scrambled egg over fried egg, but then got told they had no scrambled but could do fried?? Was a little confused but didn’t question it.

12:05 Ordered soup and was told 30min wait on all hot food! Soup I asked again and response yes all hot food. Another couple behind us were told the same but they walked out which we should have done. Within 10mins orders which were placed for hot food after we sat down were flying from kitchen. Too late for us though.

I've picked 4 different meals over the past 4 Sundays and each one I had to wait 40 minutes. The meals themselves were either half cooked or not cooked at all. I would not even let my dog eat the 'meat'. Something needs to be done as I've had quite a few people say similar things to me. It's okay for staff to be telling us sorry for the wait but where is the apology for the food? Its not even cooked fresh.

went at 6.15 and they close at 7, waited for someone to serve us for 10 minutes at a till, the food was so awful i still feel sick 2 hours later, it looked like it was left overs warmed up, it was completely dried out, we ate a few chips then asked where the drinks were, to be told to help ourselves at the counter, the beans were a stuck together in a lump that was inedible, will never ever eat there again.

Great friendly staff in here in a place offering competitive pricing and great food selection. Particularly like the bakery offering in store made pies, pasties and cakes as well as numerous breads. Brilliant...

Since this cafe has been refurbished it has gone down hill. Firstly the lockable trolley parking bays have been reduced so at peak times you can't get one and if you leave your trolley unattended you run the risk of it being stolen, as almost happened to ours. The cleanliness and speed of clearing the tables is not satisfactory probably due to a shortage of staff. Some of the cups and cutlery are stained and there are regular shortages of these and condiments. You can wait to be served for quite a while at busy times but generally the quality of food is not bad for a cafe and the price.

The cafe is pleasant and clean, the meals are cheap and cheerful fish chips and peas for pensioners is a must, fish in batter delicious also the jacket potatoes are good, a good experience at a reasonable cost

It just the usual Morrisons but the place could be cleaner and the staff friendlier. Overall, if I'm in the area I would go back, otherwise No.

I ordered a £5 half pound burger, with bun and salad and chips, and expected a juicy, succulent burger. Instead I received two small (quarter pound?) burgers, which were dry and unappetising., and I did not finish eating the second one, despite being hungry. The staff were friendly and efficient, but overall a surprising and disappointing meal from a supermarket with such a good reputation for meat and its butchery.

Staff always friendly and polite, i shop here at least 3 times a week . Lots of variety of brands at really good prices Fruit and vegatables nicely presented as well as stocked up.

We visited the cafe towards the end of the day, so sadly a lot of food was sold out, so we did have to settle for second third or forth choice - however this is to be expected at this time, and the staff member who served us went out of his way to be helpful and offered us several options to feed the hungry little people who were with us and quite vocal.

Not only is this a supermarket but it is a dry cleaner’s and a shoe repair place. The dry cleaning service is excellent and highly professional

My family and I always visit the Festival park ,Newcastle under Lyme & Stone stores for lunch or breakfast.

Oh dear... not impressed. It was a simple order of a bacon cheeseburger with no salad along with the rest if my family's order. After waiting 40 mins for our food, which was quite surprising as there were a total of about 7 others in the establishment, we finally got our food but mine was the last one to arrive as per usual. By the time my burger had arrived the rest of my family had nearly finished. Once my long awaited meal had been place infront of me, i was disgusted to find a plain burger (no bacon OR cheese) with a slimey bed a lettuce upon which laid a soggy 'tomato', and a measly 2 battered onion rings. I immediately sent the dish back, after waiting a further 7 mins my correct meal had arrived which was of poor quality. Kids eat free was good though.

Went to do some shopping..after shopping I went to get some food.. Well I have had bad experiences but this was awful.

Saturday afternoon, not particularly busy. Took 50 minutes for food arrive. Doesn’t take 50 minutes to cook a ‘flying start’ ie a sausage, a rasher of bacon, an egg, piece of toast and a tomato.

Called in for a coffee and a sandwich after doing a little shopping, wish we hadn't!!

Visited recently found the ladies toilets very very dirty. Ordered some food in the cafe seemed to have been kept warm :( Tables dirty and cutlery still had food stuck to them not been washed properly . Very disappointed!!!

Having seen some of the views below, i am writing mine. i can honestly say that whenever I have called in for breakfast, I have found the staff pleasant and the food good , It is a cafe in a supermarket, I was not expecting silver service. If you want a nice breakfast on a Saturday morning give it a try,

Ha sido mi padre tienda a ayudar como él es incapaz de transportar cosas pesadas debido a su espalda. Él había llevado un par de cosas y un pack de cerveza. Me pidieron mi I. d al que respondí no mis compras y pagar. Para que en la Lisa hasta dijo que todavía necesitan su I. d. Lo que me respondió que no me tiendas así ¿por qué tengo que demostrar mi edad. A lo que respondió que en Lisa mi discreción que me pregunten! ! Incluso cuando no estoy de comprar algo no sólo era ella encontrar gracioso mirando a otro miembro y sonriente encontrar gracioso, ella era grosero. Lo que hizo mi padre muy incómodo. Él no salir tanto como es. Y sin duda no será visitar de nuevo. Morrison Soy 33 y todavía mostraba mi I. D como podría ella era embarazoso mi padre.

Love eating here! Nice staff, delicious food, good portions!Their big breakfasts are amazing, the toasties are also delicious and I'd also highly recommend fish & chips.For a quick cheap eat, theres no need to pay more for a posher version elsewhere, the food here may look basic but its just as scrumptious!

Having previously complained about this place, I decided to give it another go. My and my partner both had a big breakfast with toast and me some extra mushrooms as there one of my pregnancy cravings. Receiving the food, I bit into what can only be described as dirt from the mushroom which I spat out into a tissue ( see attached photo) leaving all the other mushrooms which I had paid for, I tried the rest of the food which was cold and noticed we'd only received one portion of toast but paid for 2. Have sent a complaint Morrisons and will never go there again! Being pregnant means all my fruit and veg at home has to be washed and checked thoroughly as it's one of the precautions advised by your midwife!!

I live across the road from here so i shop in here all the time the staff are very pleasant exept for the staff on the delicatessen i dont know why but they are so rude and always moaning that they have too much to do I have sttod their over 5 minuites and they have seen me but completely ignore me so I go to the one in knutton where all the staff are lovely

Called in this morning and ordered the 'big breakfast' at £4.50. Added black pudding for an extra 70p so all in all it wasn't exactly cheap. It took ages and came cold. The fried slice was bread dipped in oil it wasn't even cooked. Fried egg rock hard and it was all piled on a small plate so as I was trying to eat, it was just falling off. Really gross I hardly ate anything and felt sick. Never again.

This place suits me because of its location, so I visit it for lunch every few weeks or so. The menu is a bit limited but suits me and its good value. What makes the place so unpredictable is the level of customer service. Sometimes it works well, when there is someone at the counter where you place your order, when there are enough staff in the kitchen and when the person on the till is not busy doing other things. But the opposite sometimes happens, you can wait an age to place your order, you queue for ages to pay and then wait for ever for it to be delivered. So, very mixed, good to poor, so overall average.

Went t morrisons instead of usual weatherspoons. Alot better. For £3.99 a good plate full. Was served quickly and hot which is what weatherspoons dont do. Had a latte coffee. A little werid drinking it in , in a takeaway cup but i expect this is cost effective agaisnt china cups.All.in all a good breakfast which next time in stone, stafford will def go there for breakfast.

Was here over a year ago visiting and it was a shambles. Back again today and am happy to say they did a really good job this time. Good solid working food all v hot and tasty. 3 quid for a massive Yorkshire filled with gravy mash mince and veg. Lady on the till was a gem and it came in 5 minutes. 100 percent better thanks.... and if you visit this place you won't beat this choice! Mach.

Called in today to drop off a prescription and have lunch. I ordered a jacket potato with beans and asked for it to come without salad, this I re-enforced. When it finally arrived the potato was covered in salad. I cannot eat salad from a commercial outlet due to me in recovery from a stem cell transplant. The waitress took it back and after a lengthy wait advised they had no potatoes left. Correct me if wrong but is Morrisons a Supermarket that cells that rare commodity the humble potato. I asked for a refund and was offered a partial to cover the cost of the potato, this I declined and held out for a full refund. I spoke briefly to a manager and explained my dissatisfaction with his incompetent staff and left before I went off on one. Never again Morrison's you need a good shake up.

I ordered Bangers and Mash in this 'restaurant' - and what I received was disgraceful. The whole meal was 'heated up' in a microwave oven, meaning there was no nutritional content. Even more disgusting was that when I tried to pour the gravy it actually dropped out of the jug - in what looked like 'rubberised' pieces. Also - the dining tables were unclean. I complained to the management who vowed to investigate the matter. I will return once more to see if there is improvement - if not I will be writing to the very top.

I have dealt with the most miserable and hostile woman I have ever met in this cafe. She was unable to understand swapping eggs for something else (my partner is allergic and could die!). I won't be going back here in a hurry after sending our food back twice for being wrong and with eggs!

Visited the café today. What is the point of serving me an overpriced (yes the prices have increased to pay for the new tables and chairs) pre packed sandwich in a café when I would be better taking one off the shelf in the supermarket. Coffee was good though and staff super friendly although I think that's what they have been told to be like given there is a brand new Aldi that's just opened across the road!

Called in here to have an all day breakfast with aged Parents. Arrived at 11-55 to be told they were too busy to honour the all day breakfast offer and they took the menu down. That's 5 minutes before time thank you Mr Morrison. The grumpy male staff member then suggested as they had had a staff meeting and were behind we could expect wait for 20 minutes before getting any meal of any kind off the menu. Unfriendly, unhelpful and I left. I was visiting the area and will be back in Yorkshire shortly where Morrison's staff know how to look after me.... Technically this ones a zero. I took my business to a Subway round the corner where the young staff showed how it should be done.Mach.

My wife and I shop at Morrisons every week and have Tea in the cafe. The fish and chips although not huge are always freshly cooked and delicious.This week I had the mushroom risotto (which is probably the best one I have tasted anywhere).2 main courses 1 cappuccino and a pot of tea £9 ,takes some beating.This is the Goose street cafe not Milehouse.

The morning I was here, they were somewhat short-staffed and the young chap at the counter was telling us about it. All we were wanting were hot drinks, so that didn't take too much time, although the coffee machine needed some attention from the front of the counter. As a café design, this Morrisons is quite generic, but I don't think that customers are too fussed by the environment, which has rather regimented, fixed tables. The tea I had was fine as was the coffee my companion chose. So, the café is good for a quick cuppa. Maybe another time, if nearby, I'd try out the food.

We have lived close to Morrisons Cross heath supermarket for 12 months, and have had many meals, the food is always very good quality, wide range of hot and cold food, snacks and drinks. Staff are brilliant very obliging and polite, also speedy with the service. If we have family visiting we are very happy to take them to this café and be confident in what we receive both meal and service. Thank you team

I eat at Morrison's for afternoon lunch regularly and I find the food is more than acceptable and brought to your table freshly cooked and hot, the staff have always been friendly and the price isn't bad for the quality of food you get ..... No I've got no complaints.

Having ate here many times it amazes me how long the wait is for hot food and its only cafe food, cooked breakfasts, everything else with chips etc.... they need more staff and more helpfull people working there as the staff are un helpfull and not interested. I ordered an ice cream for my child, because it was off the menu it was done in ticket order so i had to wait 35 minutes for an ice cream! I can understand hot food being prepared in the order it was requested but an ice cream.... really.... My advise if you are eating here stick to the ready made sandwiches.
