Food wasn’t bad, however experienced unnecessary rudeness from a member of staff. Also think that customers ought to be made aware of when the kitchen closes by waiting staff during main course. I think it’s reasonable to expect to be able to order a dessert when you book a table for 7pm???

Visited at lunchtime today with 7 friends for lunch all our food was served hot and together we all thought the food was delicious and plentiful the staff were friendly, polite and checked back that our food was okay - will definitely visit again as a group and with our families

We had a wonderful experience here. We usually come here as the staff Sophie (manager) Gemma and (assistant manager) and Laura are always really friendly and helpful and make us feel very welcome. Our food today, fish and salad, gammon steak and chips and sausages, mash and mushy pies were excellent and the portions were good. Thank you very much, Morris Dancers!

We visit the Dancers most weeks for food and drink. Always great prompt service with both food and drink. Staff very efficient and friendly. Great management.

Service and food excellent as always but spoilt by unruly kids being allowed to do as they like by uncaring parents including running round the tables shouting to each other and even playing hide and seek. Come on management make them sit and stay for everyone's sake. It's surely not safe..sizzling food is just that, someone is going to get hurt and guess who'll get the blame. Maybe you could have a family dining end for children under 12 as other pub's now do. Sorry to winge but our meal was spoilt by a few unthinking parents.

It's a chain pub, basically. It's fine but that's really all I could say. The staff were polite and the prices are reasonable but we weren't very impressed with the food. There's a large menu but the food is very average. It's probably good in summer because you can sit outside, but the inside just felt a little bit depressing.

Wifes food looked great. However my 'Greek Burger' was terrible. Worst burger I have ever had and for £10.99 it was disappointing. We did get a free drink and staff were nice.

Over the moon, the Morris Dancers have begun doing Breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday. Called this morning which was our 3rd visit for breakfast. As the last couple of times and all our dinners and evening meals over the years, it was excellent. Sophie, Stuart and all the team are so passanate about the food they serve and your culinary experience. Enjoyed it so much we will be back in the morning on Sunday. For the price and effort making it at home, washing up, etc it makes sense in all aspects, you have worked all week, time you have made it yourself you don't want it, then you have to wash up.... Trust me, call in... You will not be disappointed:-)

Popped in for some food and rest after driving, I’d been to a few sizzlers before so fancied it as I passed. I was alone and the staff were super friendly, I had a bratwurst a fave of mine at their sister sites and this was just as good, the waitress, Sophia was cracking, such a laugh she so wanted me to have a pudding but I was stuffed. Overall I liked it and I was told about a new menu, so I can’t wait to try in my local sizzler but a very welcoming place I’d recommend

Came in for our daughter's birthday ordered 2 mega mix grills and meals for the kids when the mix grills arrived the chips were cold aswell as the sausages and they were char grilled a little too much for my liking we usually eat at sizzling pubs its usually fine however on this occasion it wasn't. The duty manager just looked fed up and miserable all the time she said that's just how it is. And no one ever complains....clearly not the case. She replace my wife's and I ordered a burger to avoid further disappointment. When my wife's replacement came at first seemed ok. Upon trying it the plate was full of water and Greece. My wife used 3 serviettes to soak up the Greece and couldn't eat it. We never got the £4 difference iny m meal. The miserable manager was very rude and said she would refund £10 but this would only actually be £6 as she still owed us £4. This ruined our daughter's birthday meal. I would suggest management look into the manor they're staff are looking and speaking to people!

This place is amazing for us! Visited as a couple regularly for food. Also, with family members. There are lots to choose from on the menu. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It's not false like some establishments. Try the sizzling fahitas! All served hot and ready to make to your own preference. I loved that. Children are welcome and a great garden area in the warmer months 😀

Well great service needs a mention! I often visit with my disabled husband but after not being for a few weeks due to illness the warm welcome and extra special attention by Sophie (our favourite landlady) was exceptional. Even before we reached the pub she was opening doors to help with the wheelchair. The service by Liam was friendly and fun. Even Stuart from the kitchen bobbed out today hi. Lovely visit and the best BLT wrap l have had! Thanks.

Yesterday we went to the Morris Dancers and we had really good food, everything was hot , and the service was excellent there is always a great atmosphere in the pub Sophie and Stuart and their team are great they all looked after us really well , Sarah,Halle, Victoria, Liam, are just some of their team and everyone of them are a credit to Sophie and Stuart it's a real pleasure to go and have a meal there. Prices are good especially when you get the deals, would definitely be going back

We have been before for meals and found them ok but we were really disappointed with the meal that we had this time. We went on Monday at about 2.30pm and the pub was relatively empty, we ordered the BBQ burger and the Doom Bar Pie, both with chips. The Main part of the meal was nice i.e. the burger and pie but the chips left a lot to be desired. I really suspect that the chef had fried the last dregs out of the end of the bag of frozen chips - you know the ones that are always left behind, little ends of potatoes, scrappy little bits of crunchy chips - and decided rather than opening another bag when there was no-one else to cook for he/she would share those meagre offerings out between us. Most times you go into a pub, your plate is overwhelmed by chips, they are after all probably the cheapest thing on the plate so make the plate look like its full, but this time the measly offerings wouldn't even fill the palm of your hand never mind command a presence on the plate. As I said in the title of this review, its the first time I have left after a pub meal feeling hungry most times I can't even finish my plate full. We probably will return at some time in the future as hopefully this was a one off and our bad luck that we came "at the end of the bag of chips" and next time will be better presumably. Sorry I failed to take a picture as we were so shocked at what we had we spent the meal talking about it and I forgot to take the picture!

Cheap food but actually pretty good. Coupled with cheap beer and quite a few tables in nooks and crannies this was actually better than I expected. For those with millennial snowflakes there is also a good vegan choice.

The pepperjack stack burger is amazing. More expensive then the usual burgers but well worth it. Only downside kids were screaming and running so we didn't stay for long .

This is a sizzler pub. Went with two friends and we all had different meals and all were delicious. The staff are very friendly. I have been before with my partner and also family and we have never had a bad meal. This is a popular place to eat and gets very busy but it is worth the wait.

Had an excellent steak and ribs, I like my steak rare and it was cooked to perfection my other 2 friends had steak too again cooked how they like it. The ribs are again very tasty and meaty my husband regularly has the burgers and can recommend the backyard and old faithful burgers. The desserts are again delicious and plentiful enough to share. We come on a Tuesday have a meal and stay for the quiz night which the landlord Stuart does. Great night. Theyalso do a quiz on a Sunday night. All the staff are really friendly.

Great staff nice pint of Guinness. Good parking and plenty of large tv screens if you want to watch any matches. It also looked like it had a good selection of food, although we did not eat.
