Regular at this spot it’s a seriously good breakfast and the coffee is spot on, Freshly ground in front of you. Really really good value for money and Brian and the team are very warm and welcoming.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted by a gentleman who made us feel incredibly special and welcomed. In a world where genuine hospitality can often be rare, the warm reception we received was truly refreshing. In fact, I must say that we felt more welcomed here than we sometimes do when visiting our own family! While I had chosen to indulge in their breakfast, my fiancé, known for her hesitation, suggested an omelette with ham and onion, despite it not being on the menu. The gentleman taking our order effortlessly accommodated her request. To her delight, he even asked if she would like cheese with that too! We were taken aback by his unwavering commitment to please; a level of attentiveness that is increasingly rare when dining out. The taste and quality of the food were impeccable. The locally sourced ingredients and attention to detail truly shone through in every bite. We left feeling comfortably full, but what stayed with us even more was the love and care we were shown during our visit. It was a truly special experience that left us feeling not only nourished but also energised. I also want to extend my gratitude to the kind lady behind the bar, who I assume is the gentleman's wife. Both of them exuded a genuine love and appreciation for their customers, which only added to the overall warmth of the atmosphere. It is no surprise that you have built such a successful business, as your establishment embodies a true sense of community spirit. It was heartwarming to see locals and visitors alike being treated with the same care and love. For anyone traveling through Easingwold, I strongly encourage you to keep an eye out for the white, double-fronted former 'New Inn,' as within its walls lies something truly special. Lovely meal with work friends before a Yr2 residential at our school. The owner heard our plans and offered to deliver coffees and bacon butties for breakfast up to us in the morning. They were great too, just what we needed - thanks so much.

We drove past this place while looking for a coffee stop. Eventually someone told us that it is the only place in this village to sit and drink a coffee so we came back. It looks like a pub, but is in fact a great little cafe/restaurant. And once we saw the menu we decided to stop for lunch. A fantastic eggs benedict and bagel. The salad "garnish" is a huge salad with grapes and spinach and not a whisper of iceberg. Fab. Lovely friendly staff and delicious eats. Look out for the New Inn, a big white building.

Had a lovely meal .Evenings they have a 2 for 1 main meal offer.The food was top restaurant quality and good attentive friendly service.We had steak which was cooked to perfection very tender with peppercorn sauce onion ring tomatoes and chips.2nd meal Duck in plum sauce with chilli mash tasty with a kick and green beans and broccoli.Both were absolutely amazing. Followed by mixed Berry meringue and cream and rhubarb and ginger crumble and custard .Again both superb.We are visiting the area for 3 days and will definitely visit again it was so good.

Book to head for an afternoon tea with family member. Beautifully fresh well presented and Very happy to top our teapot up a number of times! Amazing value and there was no rush on ys to leave

I hadn't been since the move across the road to the new, bigger building. So much space! Really comfy, homely atmosphere. The staff were so lovely and the food was brilliant. Huge amount of food for the afternoon tea. I've spent a lot more money for a lot less food elsewhere. We couldn't manage to eat everything so took a box home to finish off. Everything was fresh and delicious.

Really lovely atmosphere in this converted pub. The staff were very friendly and the coffee was delicious. The restaurant looked immaculate and we hope to return for a meal. Exceptional value for money run by people who obviously care.

Called in passing for a late lunch, ordered BLT came quickly , beautiful soft bread , loaded with bacon and served with generous side salad and crisps. The place is immaculate, friendly staff. Faultless .

Having coffee and cake here was a positive experience. The staff were pleasant and well presented, which is nice to see. The refurbishment creates a nice and relaxing ambience (it was a pub the last time we were here). We will definitely return when next in the area..

The best thing about coming out of lockdown was seeing our old friends here! Brian, Kay and the team have moved over the road to The New Inn, so more space and time, inside and out, to return with THE best eatery in North Yorks! My wife and I love to dip out of busy lives and escape to a plethora of tea rooms and pubs and then Brian goes and combines the two! We may never leave! This wonderful family and devoted team cannot be beaten for service, food and making the customer feel appreciated. So refreshing in this day and age, but even then not as fresh as the food! Am I biased? Yep and why not, we have tried many alternatives! In a country where the self employed often moan when they are busy, this guy LOVES it! Mind you, he gets lots of practice! If you have been, you will know what I mean, if you haven't, then what's stopping you?! Take coming out of lockdown to another level - enjoy!

Food arrived on time, carefully packaged and it was delicious. We have been at home for almost a year so this takeaway fish and chips was a real treat. We hope to venture to try more on the menu. Thank you

Had Salmon and Risotto, plated and collected by my wonderful husband. They do deliver. Delicious. Drink included soft or alcoholic. So grateful Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea are now at The New Inn. Still a brilliant coffee shop ( coffee is excellent), but now also a fantastic restaurant.

We have been for quite a few meals now at the New Inn since it's been taken over by Morning Coffee, we love it so much every time we leave we book again. Lovely staff and brilliant service. The food is amazing. Would highly recommend.

Very good selection of great tasting coffee and cake at very reasonable prices. Business appears to have moved in recently to the New Inn and its very new and well decorated. Only downsides were the male proprietor not wearing his mask over his nose and a group sat on the table next to us who were clearly from two households contrary to Covid-19 rules (yet were not challenged by staff).

They are doing so well here even though everything is different due to Covid-18. I often would bring my Gran here and the staff would go above and beyond to help her and put her at ease. (Thanks to Grace for letting Gran take her biscuits home; Gran put them in her pocket and had them later that day watching the chase)Looking forward to trying the new take away menu this week; hope our usual table is free.

Can't recommend this cafe enough. The staff are amazing, so acommadating. They're so welcoming and more then happy to help you with your children if you need. The staff are always very approachable and welcome you with a smile.The food is beautiful and all home made! The portions are genourous and lots to choose from. The children's meals are lovely and have a wide selection and they always add a little treat.Extremely good value for money. We thoroughly enjoy coming to this cafe. I’ve visited Morning Coffee several times before and I decided to have my birthday breakfast there, with my family. Each of us went for the breakfast special. My two boys (10 and 7) ate significantly more than they normally do, even though the plates were full of good food. Every piece of the breakfast was of the highest quality. The sausages and bacon were of both quality and quantity. The egg, bread, tomato and mushrooms were delicious too. Each of us commented on the size of the breakfast (and my wife and I marvelled at how much value the meal was). The coffee was as good as ever. I’m not waiting a year to bring my family back for another breakfast; I hope to bring my work colleagues there next month.

This was a lovely visit. Perfect.The cafe was busy, and even with firm restrictions in place due to covid18, everyone was content and the atmosphere was vibrant. It almost felt like life had returned to normal. As i said, it was busy but not overcrowded.The service was polite, professional and friendly ; I could not hope for better.The coffee was hot, of good strength and delicious, and I consider myself a coffee snob. The bacon and sausage sandwich took my breath away. Hot, quality pork and granary bread made it the best sandwich I've enjoyed in months. The fruit tart was fresh and the fruit was plump and juicy. Again, a perfect pastry. All dishes were served with a little something extra, ie a caramel biscuit with the coffee, strawberries and a few crisps with the sandwich and, well, the fruit tart was unaccompanied, but it needed nothing more!A perfect 10.

On our way home from visiting a National Trust property, we deviated through Easingwold. We went in for a cup of tea and slices of lemon drizzle cake.We were attended to as soon as we walked in and didn't have to wait long for our order. The cafe is clean,tidy and welcoming, staff very friendly and efficien The cafe is also popular with people living locally.Thank you

Absolutely incredible value for money. I enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea today with my mum. The extras were amazing and the vanilla slices are always tasty.

We live in Easingwold and regularly go to this cafe. The food is excellent , the staff friendly and helpful. They have social distance tables inside and there are a few tables outside. They have a varied menu and the cakes and pasties are excellent.

Had lunch there and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Very dog friendly place which is nice. Made us feel very welcome. It's not in the centre of town but it's only a short walk away. Parking very easy on the street nearby.

Called in today for lunch with my two daughters and two young grandchildren. I had afternoon tea which was lovely and unusual as it included hot savoury food. All the meals were delicious and excellent value for money and the staff were really friendly. Definitely worth a return visit!

Popped in for lunch en route to York. We were shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff. I went to look at the specials board and another member of the staff told us the soup of the day and how delicious the wendsleydale quiche was. My husband opted for the chicken, bacon and Brie panini with salad and crisps. My daughter had the mozzarella, tomato and pesto panini also with salad and crisps and I decided on the quiche. Presentation was good and the food was delicious. Staff were very attentive and filled up our teapots again. Looking forward to our next visit.

The staff are wonderful couldn’t be friendlier nothing is to much trouble they’ll adapt any meal any way you want it the presentation of food is first class couldn’t believe the array of food on our plates and it tasted fab it might of only been an omelette but it was the best omelette I ve ever tasted cheese and bacon scrummy. A power cut around Easingwold Market Place forced us to wander a short distance to where the lights were flickering so we rather stumbled ccross MCAF. A lucky break as it turned out because we were very impressed, so much so that we returned twice more during our holiday. As the title of this review suggests the scones were to die for (with clotted cream and jam naturally). The bacon and sausage sandwich for breakfast also impressed.

I recommend Morning Coffee-Afternoon Tea not only for their beautifully produced and presented food, but also for their delightful staff who were attentive. The team did the outside catering for my late father's memorial service - a bittersweet occasion at the best of times - but they moved into the parish rooms to set up tables and chairs with a respectful considerate style, decorating the tables with their lovely cake stands holding slates on which a delicious selection of sweet and savouries was displayed. Can't recommend their sandwiches highly enough. Thank you!

I’m afraid I always tend to review based on either excellent or terrible service so I probably should have reviewed this cafe before when we have visited in the past the food and drinks were great and service friendly. However today when I popped in just before they were due to close for a takeaway of my sons favourite fizzy drink as an Easter treat the welcome was warm despite the late hour and the cheerful sentiment put me in a great mood for the Easter Holiday. This is the first time we have visited this cafe and it certainly won't be the last. It was very busy which is always a good sign but we managed to find a table and ordered two BLT sandwiches and coffee. The food was served quickly by a very friendly server and the prices are so good. The cakes looked very tasty too.

We called in having noticed the sign at the side of the road and decided to pop in for a quick bite to eat, knowing we were eating later. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by a lady who immediately made us feel so warm and cosy, it was an unbelievably heart learning approach, given how disappointing the service industry is most of the time in the UK. We had the freshest ham sandwiches and tuna mayonnaise sandwiches that we have had for many a year and we dine out regularly everywhere from local tearooms to The Ritz and Claridges!

Everything went A.OK when we called for lunch. I took a bacon melt bagel from the specials board and it was really nice and good value. My wife took a cream cheese and salmon bagel from the regular menu and was also very happy with her choice. The most substantial things on the menu seemed to be salads of various types. Nothing wrong with that, but I’d like to have seen something in there for the less health conscientious clients (i.e. Me). The coffee was good too.

I was visiting from Birmingham and my friend recommended this cafe as she goes there regularly. The food was excellent freshly cooked and extremely good value. Staff are lovely. The place is warm and welcoming. I had scrambled eggs with bacon which was delicious. My niece had a panini and We followed it up with Mr Whippy Ice cream cornets to take out. Will definitely be back.

Really enjoyed our visit,welcoming and attentive staff,excellent menu choice and well thought out decor. The coffee was good, the Ploughmans lunch was as good as it gets. I also recommend the scrambled eggs and bacon special. Cakes looked delicious too!

The friendliness of this place is it’s crowning glory. Add to that the good food at very reasonable prices and you can not go wrong! We have been visiting since it opened and enjoying watching the place develop! Can not go wrong by giving this place a try!!!

Oh dear, looks like I caught them on an off day looking at previous reviews but I ordered a tea and scone, agreed a table to sit at. I waited 15mins with no tea or scone, other food going out, maybe a scone wasn’t seen as important! Staff hanging around waiting for food to take out but not mine! Asked for my money back and left, plenty of other places in Easingwold with more atmosphere.

This is a great place to visit for morning coffee, through super wholesome and healthy lunches right down to yummy afternoon teas.

My partner and I had seen this coffee house open a while ago so we thought we’d pop in.

A horrid day outside and a warm welcome within. How Brian and Kay manage to live on the 45% not given to help others I don't know. GENEROUS portions of mouth watering food at affordable prices without the free cup of tea with the lunch and super generous because of the free drink. We both will come again despite the long drive.

Morning coffee, says it all. Open early and provides good coffee. (I can also recommend the cakes and the Sausage and bacon sandwiches too!)

The room is spacious but divided into three sections, which lends an air of privacy to diners. It has a range of different seating and a good choice on the lunch menu.

A lovely new cafe in Easingwold. Sandwiches were well presented, generously filled and tasted delicious. Garnishes were yummy too.

This is a new establishment in town, only opening at the beginning of September. It is a Coffee and Tea Shop and cafe with a bit of a difference. It aims to put any profits made back into a Christian Charity that aims to help young people get established in a job or career, who maybe struggling to make a go of it.
