Always fantastic service and food. Always "go to" chippy. Delivery is always on time and cheerful drivers. Cannot praise enough!

Just had a pasties chips seen more meat and juice in a nuns fanny

Food was good but the delivery time was far too long. Sorry.

Waited 1hr30 for ice cream to be delivered,not even food that needed prep/cooking! When it arrived it was the wrong ice cream, called restaurant to be met with very rude staff, hung up on me, told me they didn’t have that flavour, I asked why I wasn’t called to be told apparently the driver called me 3 times, why the driver was calling to ask what substitute I wanted when he was already delivering I do not know! Practically shouted they’d want the ice cream back, still not returned to refund.

Ordered sausage and chips 🍟 were quite yummy could of used some more vinegar but amazing 👏 and the sausage was a decent size 👌 so overall size good .

asked for extra hot ,arrived warm battered burger went in the bin as batter soggy and burger tough pie was warm and chips were the only realy eadable part dissapointed as had great food from them before

Food arrived, missing 3 items, half of two meals and a drink. Called restaurant who said they’d send it out and would be 10 minutes, 15 at most. 40 minutes later - I called to be told it was already sent and they’d have to call driver and call me back. No call back and 55 minutes after the order arrived, the second half of two of our meals was delivered, with an ice cold can of drink on top of them. Will not order again.

I have never ever visited an establishment like Moorlands before. I initially was happy to get a bag of sensations from the shop next door, however was persuaded to go to moorlands. I ordered a large chip and cod. The food was horrifying. After eating the food I experienced severe food poisoning which consisted of abdominal cramps and nausea. It is safe to say I will not be visiting moorlands again. #Closure

Not the best Chip Shop I have ever been to, especially around this area. Unfortunately, I was in a position where I had 2 options which were, the local shop or Moorlands. I chose Morlands, biggest mistake ever. The service wasn't great, I asked for Chips and Gravy. I was served cold chips, and cold Bisto Gravy. After eating the food, which i regretted afterwards. I have never had food poisoning in my life, and i can only assume this is what happened. Luckily, i was just passing by this time. I wont be returning any time in the foreseeable future.

Food was 30 minutes late & cold. We didn't eat it and visited another Chip Shop. Spent 30 mins calling the shop but no answer. Will never use again.

Use to have regular delivery as was only one that did. As driver was driving away realised drinks were missing. Tried to catch him. Rang store said they would send the drinks out. Never arrived. No refund. Never again.

I've ordered from this place a few times now, more often than not they won't show up with your food and won't do a refund. And I should of learnt the first time but I was willing to give them a chance but clearly they do not care.do not ordered delivery

for the price of the pea fritter. it was not worth the money and I had cheesy chips and there was hardly any cheese. the cheese that was there was stuck to the side of the box. the curry sauce was very watery .

Kids love getting chips delivered. They did forget the drinks to go with kids meals which was a shame.

Foods always tasty and usually it's on time. Order took 1.5hrs to arrive which was a shame but kids still enjoyed the food.

ordered 4 mini fish and chips to be delivered to unity farm holiday resort. well let's just say first off it wasn't even a mini cod but cod bites which I did not order. it then took them 1 hour and 36 minutes to Cooke the said food and deliver it to me 3 miles away from them and when it did get to me it was in a car with a group of what I can only call hoodlums, and when I did get my food to my surprise I'd was cold. terrible and shocking will not use these guys again your service is terrible

food was only just delivered in time. We ordered a chicken fillet wrap meal for £8.99 at 7.55pm and received a piece of breaded chicken in a wrap with no salad or sauce just a dry wrap delivered at 9pm. No drink and No chips which was part of the deal. on trying to contact the shop the phone was not answered. I understand it was closing time, but really sad that such a lack of effort was put into what could have been a lovely meal.

I just want to say, the delivery driver was very very rude to me and quite nasty with his words, I felt quite embarrassed as I had witnesses that was starring at him being rude and nasty with his words towards me.

You got my fruit shoot flavour wrong. I asked for blackcurrant fruit shoot and I got an orange one🤢. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!! I will never forget this.

Burger tasted like cardboard chips tasted re-used.

Chips were hard sausages burnt not good

There was a missing drink, I phoned and they said they would deliver it but I am still waiting. Also when we served up the food it was almost cold. My saveloy was stone cold, everything had to be reheated before we could eat.

Huge portions of chips but they are not the best. Fish was Ok but batter was awful. Sausages were good. Staff were a bit miserable.

I really wanted a buttered roll with my chips but they didn't list it on the menu, so I left a note on the order details about maybe getting one. when it turned up on time they had chucked a buttered roll in for me! it may be a little thing but shows how good the service is! lovely food as well, highly recommend!

Really disappointed with the chicken breast tonight. Seemed over cooked was rock solid in places (on the meat part!) and very dry. Chips were great though

Had to phone them as it said on the app my food was delivered at 18:50 and wasn’t, waited a further 30minutes for the delivery driver to turn up. When it did arrive I wasn’t very satisfied as the fish was dripping in grease and the chips were as hard as a rock. Very disappointed won’t be ordering again.

Good food lovely, only complaint, we ordered a kids meal and the juice didn't arrive,may not seem a big deal but to a 8 year old getting a treat it was and we had tears because we didn't get a fruit shoot. Silly things like that didn't make it a great treat night for us.

British favourite, fish and chips. Good quality fish and haddock and place available for those not liking cod. Excellent

Nice chunky cod-no skin. Batter bit soft but that was prob due to delivery in boxes. Portion sizes of fish & also the chips were larger than I had anticipated. Enjoyable meal.

Lovely chips, saveloys are beautifully cooked! Ideal Chippy ! No messing about about I ordered and food arrived 20mins later which is just what I want from a takeaway !

No option to add sauce and salad to the chicken burger, no option to select a drink for the meal, I tried calling numerous times but no answer despite all this the food was great and tasted amazing

Chips were chewy, saveloy was cold, fishcake was cold and bog standard. The only thing decent was the mushy peas. Why is it so hard to find a reasonably priced chippy nowadays!

My first and last order which seems a bit odd when I have given them almost top marks. However, the person that delivered went to the wrong address and offered the food to one of my neighbours, thankfully my neighbour was honest, so I made contact with him and said that I would be down now, and I went out and found the delivery guy trying to deliver my food to another address while busy on his mobile phone. I don't want to run the risk of ordering again and losing money because of delivery drivers not delivering to the correct address. However, the food was very good although a few bits looked a bit dodgy, but the chips were quite nice and I am not a massive fan of chips but I ate most of them, and the seagulls had the rest. The delivery time was also good, but I hate the fact of someone trying to deliver to two wrong addresses, hence why I will never order again.

I’m sorry to say the chips where chewy and had no taste. There was no option for me to choose what drink I wanted with my meal deal, I’m diabetic. They assumed I wanted a full sugar coke. So couldn’t drink it. The wrap was dry with only chicken and no option of salad or sauce. I’ve been ordering from Morlands for years and I’m disappointed with how the food is now.
