Moonnite in Camden

Mi esposa y yo nos quedamos agradablemente sorprendidos de encontrar esta pequeña marca restaurante muchos positivos. No sólo había una buena selección de platos, pero también tenía una limitada pero amplia selección de vinos. El servicio era excelente, las raciones de comida eran abundantes y deliciosos. Sin duda lo recomendaría a cualquiera con un gusto por la cocina asiática.

I don't know what Restaurant service means, as we had a delivery, but I put four stars for the person taking the order.

Me trasladé a NW3 unos 6 meses, y estaba muy satisfecho de haber encontrado un fantástico restaurante local de Englands Moonnite, Lane. Tiene un ambiente realmente encantador local, modesto, amable y cálido ambiente. Los alimentos son preparados con ingredientes de alta calidad, y tan delicioso. Tuve un grupo de 8 para celebrar mi cumpleaños, y fue simplemente precioso, el chef se desvivió para preparar algo y salir del menú de langosta con fideos, era tan fresca y deliciosa, gracias Chef!

He estado queriendo escribir una crítica de este lugar por algún tiempo. Cuando vine aquí no creo que estaba en la lista de Tripadvisor. Vine aquí con un querido amigo que vivían a la vuelta de la esquina en Primrose jardines. Es un atractivo restaurante de estilo trattoria y prefiero ese estilo en estos entorno local.

That was probably the worst take away we have ever had in London. We have eaten the Laksa from here before and it was good, but this stuff was not good at all and we had to throw it away.

Absolutely disgusting - waste of money. Spice garlic chicken was sour, green curry had no flavour, dishes were watery. 1 star for prompt delivery.

Como local, me llevó mucho tiempo de aventurarse en este lugar bastante informal. Finalmente probé a través de llevar y me sorprendió gratamente. Lo que realmente me dieron es que el menú dice que la fuente de su carne de la carnicería local unas puertas más abajo.

Fuimos con expectativas altas y me alegré de que fuera tan cerca de nuestra casa, pero quedé muy decepcionado con el sabor de la comida.

Me llevaron a este restaurante por mi amigo en Belsize Park. Siempre me encantó Belsize Park y sus restaurantes, pero nunca he visto uno antes no entramos en su puerta hasta el viernes. Que se encargan comida Tailandesa y malaya. Yo tenía los platos de Malasia. Estaba delicioso. Me encantó cada bocanada. Realmente recomiendo este restaurante. Tranquilo, el servicio es ofrecido por una mujer hermosamente malaya muy bonito y la comida deliciosa.

This is little gem hidden away amongst leafy suburban lanes - looked to be a family owned thing - impeccable service and great food! Highly recommend...

I got to the restaurant to collect my meal and it seemed they hadn't prepared my order at all and i waited 10-15 mins until they brought my order out. Not very impressed and the staff weren't especially useful - food was good but seemed v disorganized.

Noodles and chilli prawns were fab, but nasi goreng was bland.

Food was good but portion way too small for the price. For example the soups were coming in a tiny container. Next time I ll order from another restaurant

Visitamos Moonnite en Lane Inglaterra en el parque de Belice para cenar recientemente y quedé bastante impresionado con la calidad y el sabor de la comida. Las albóndigas al vapor, fideos, cordero, sopas, cada uno de los platos era absolutamente delicioso. Mi hijo, de 7 años, completamente me encantó la banana buñuelos y helado para el postre. Sin duda visitar y pedir también a partir de aquí. Si estás en el parque y descubrir por Belice, un lugar para el almuerzo/cena, recomiendo encarecidamente Moonnite.

Fresh chilli, really nice and flavourful food arrived in less than an hour. Yum!

Chicken satay over cooked, fish cakes tasted like rubbery microwaved ones. Beef in black bean had a weird tang to it, mee goreng was dry and the meat in it was over cooked. Took 1 hour 45 mins to deliver. Wouldn't order from there again.

Ordered Beef Rendang - got beef strips with onions and a waterly flavourless 'rendang' sauce

Good neighbourhood restaurant serving very nice Lakhsa. Service slow but friendly and the portions are generous and very reasonable.

I have been going there for years. Steve and his family always provide good food well cooked in a friendly atmosphere. Always excellent value for money.

Went there with my family as I was missing my home (Singapore) street food. Kway Teow, Dumplings, fried rice and chicken. Nice! Though I wish they had served some Chilli Padi with the Kway Teow

This is the best takeaway food I've ever eaten. Ordered Cantonese and Malaysian dishes and both were very authentic with really fresh ingredients and great flavour. Order arrived much sooner than expected. Generous portions (all of which we finished because it was so delicious).

I've had takeaways from moonnite for well over a year now (can't recommend there Chicken Laksa more) and have recently eaten in the restaurant. Delivery time ok, food was quite average. Noodles were slightly burned and bitter.

Is there a way to give 0 star ratings? I don't know if there are any reviewers here who have had to leave their kitchen because of the stench of uncooked and rotten food delivered from a restaurant. If you want to get a feel of that particular experience, try the food from Moonnite NW3. Oh and if you want to add really pathetic customer service on to that, it's a free add-on! I ordered Mee Hoon and Thai sweet basil chicken and the crispy lamb and only the lamb was even palatable. The so called curry was a murky green watery liquid with undercooked chicken lying in it, while the noodles were stale and just plain nauseating. I was so hungry after work I ate the lamb but by then the smell of the other stuff drove me out of the house! I called the restaurant only to be told that they had never received complaints and that I didn't know what Thai and Malay food smelled like poSsibly ... And if I wanted to bring the food back in I could but she couldn't do anything since they never receive any complaints. I have never had stale food delivered to me anywhere!!! ... This was a first and this will never happen to me or anyone I know - not courtesy this place! To not even have the grace to apologise or accept that something may have gone wrong and instead to insinuate that I don't have a discerning enough palate for a specific kind of food - Lower than most restaurants would swoop... And the best would never do so. Shame Moon-nite ... And to think I had been so excited!!! Now I've had to throw out the food, Dettol wipe my kitchen and wash my plates and whip something up last minute so I don't go to bed hungry ... Lovely experience, NOT!

The food was delivered on time, but is VERY EXPENSIVE for what it is. The sesame prawn toast (£6 for two slices!?) barely had any prawns in it - they're clearly trying to cut costs. The sweet and sour sauce tasted like diluted, outdated ketchup. The curries taste like they've simply opened a cheap tin of it from Costco and heated it in a microwave. I have never been so disappointed with a meal. Overpriced, meagre portions of sub-par food - this is an establishment Scrooge McDuck would have been proud to own.

We booked this restaurant for a suprise for my mums 70th birthday. It us quite small with loads of atmostphere and the most amazing staff, the meal was fabulous and it was not pricey. Def visit again

Tasty food at a decent price if you live around nw3. Friendly faces and they do delivery too. Only thing to watch though is that they charge a 60p surcharge for payments with credit cards which is a little annoying. But overall, decent food served by decent people. And no MSG which is brill! You have to spend 15 quid to qualify for free delivery. Otherwise, there is a 2 quid surcharge.

If you are looking for a restaurant with lots of atmosphere, then Moonnite is not for you.If you are looking for really good food in a quiet and friendly restaurant, then pay a visit to Moonnite.A selection of Thai, Malaysian & Chinese is cooked well and portion sizes are good.

Have been going here when in the area for the past 10 years. Excellent malay-tinged chinese. Good portions of thoughtfully prepared spicy food. Much better choices that others in the area that are similarly priced (eg on Finchley Road). On interesting stretch of England's Lane. Nice and relaxing; friendly and helpful service. Excellent singapore noodles.

I have eaten here on many occasions, and the food is always of good quality and doesn't use MSG. The menu has a selection of standard Chinese and Malaysian dishes always well cooked. The crispy chilli beef and the lemon chicken are always tasty as is the beef rendang.

I tried the beef rendang and curry laksa. Unfortunately, I found both to be very bland.

Delivery within 20 mins of ordering...that's impressive!

This was appalling! We wanted to give the restaurant a chance as our local so ignored the bad reviews. Unfortunately the order time was set at 40 minutes and after an hour and three phone calls, still no food! Eventually it arrived almost an hour and a half in with no apology. Really bad customer service and no apology from the restaurant. What a dissapointment! I asked what the restaurant could do to apologise and they just said nothing

Warm welcome and very tasty Sambal King Prawn. Nice touch with free prawn crackers and dipping sauce.

Good response to on line ordering, they took note of an allergy and as requested did not include the item in any dishes; order delivered very promptly just before the estimated time given. Food included plenty of vegetables and was tasty, in a fairly typical Chinese take-away way. Will order again from here but will try different dishes next time.

Ordered from here tonight through just eat.. got half a box of crispy chilli shredded beef for £7.80.. three mini spring rolls for price of 4.. then called the shop to complain at paying £20 for two dishes and appetiser. The woman basicly blew me off and lied.. average called and left bad taste in my mouth.. emailed the restuarant on what looks like a personal email address so sounds like they couldn't care less about their customers.. good luck u couldnt give me free food next time.. I will still to japanese. Better food and service

Charged £7.80 for half a box of crispy shredded beef. Got 3 mini springs for price of 4.. not happy called the shop to complain. The lady just lied to me about my order.. clearly not interested to help. Emailed the restuarant to complain. Dont expect much its a personal email of some chinese guy.. wont use again and will social network everywhere I can about this poor service..

Ordered £36 worth of food for two people, portions were very small, every dish supplemented with large amounts of lettuce leaves and cucumber and a small bit of the dish, too expensive for portion sizes. Complimentary bags of lettuce leaves. Won´t be going back.

Don´t waste your time. Took an hour and 20mins to arrive and then the order was wrong. Couldn´t even get sorted as none picking up the phone.

Food was very good but expensive. No freebies unlike other Chinese takeaways (prawn crackers fortune cookies ect) which seems a shame. Super fast delivery. Will use again.
