The breakfast offerings range from full English to vegetarian. Such a delightful place to take a meal! The food was all good and the service was superb. Had breakfast here every day of our visit to Richmond. Indoor and outdoor seating. Right in the heart of Lasso Land! Across from the pub and next door to the barber shop. Steps from the green. You will love this cafe.

Great food well priced and very friendly service. Cash only so make sure to visit the cashpoint first. The owner was greeting regulars and saying hello to passers by consistently, very helpful to an older gentleman that came in. The bacon was perfectly cooked - some of the best I’ve had - and nothing was too much trouble

Nice little café tucked down one of Richmond’s old alleys, haven’t been here since pre-pandemic days but came here today with my mum, had a lovely cup of coffee and she had hot chocolate. Very attentive staff checked about food allergies before making our drinks.

I have used this cafe for years. I have always found the food to be excellent quality. The service friendly . It is cash only but this is no problem for me. They may miss out on some customers who only use cards. Most people are very happy to pay cash or go to a machine & get cash, I think this is because the food is always good quality.

Last time we had breakfast in Mooca was over a year ago. We were pleasantly surprised to found a new waitress there. This french lady has improved the service by 100%! Professional, neatly dressed, polite, no more hands holding cups! We will certainly return soon.

I had a full English Breakfast for £7 at this cafe and considered it to be good value for money. The bacon wasn't true back bacon in the sense we generally know it, but it was still nice. The coffee was also good. It's a small cafe with seating outside, if the weather is good (which it wasn't!). Along one of the interesting little side streets in the heart of Richmond.

I ordered a panini with extra cheese and some pesto. I paid for the extra cheese but when it came it had barely any cheese on it. I asked the waiter politely where the cheese and pesto was and he brought out what you see in the picture below. It was disgusting. He said I should go away and what did I expect for £6. He tone and attitude was very rude and we were shocked and offended. We went on 11/07/21 around 4pm. We will not be returning.

Hi This a gorgeous yummy cafe. Does anyone know if they are now open and taking sit-in/ dine-in customers? (August 2020) Cheers

This place offers a wide range of indulgent and also more healthy options on an equally wide range of types of bread. Plenty of Avocado on offer as well as bacon and mayo. Lots of choice for everyone. Good range of cool drinks. Unfortunately cash only - they need to get with it. No excuses these days - especially in a Covid-19 era.

Had a very quick lunch and a huge cup of tea here recently. It's a pleasant cafe, with a great selection of sandwiches, rolls, baguettes etc. I went for a simple tuna baguette - generously filled, bread nice and fresh. The tea was served in a cup almost the size of my face, which I was very happy about! Prices were fine, not expensive when you consider the location. The only watch-out - go to a cashpoint first as there is no option for card payments.

This is down a side street in Richmond and is probably the best value cafe we found as most places are a bit expensive. We had breakfast here twice. The veggie breakfast is huge and very good value - grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, hash brown, beans and either fried or scrambled egg along with 2 slices of toast. The coffee is not quite perfect but the cannoli is! They have lemon, hazelnut and pistachio and all taste fab. They also do a selection of other breakfasts and baguettes. The scrambled egg and avocado is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff are really nice and pleasant. A cafe worth searching out. Please note cash only atm.

Good coffee. Friendly staff. Very nice cakes. Clean premises. The day we visited it was the hottest bank holiday on record but inside this cafe it was cool... heaven.

After choosing what we wanted we then noticed the cash only sign, not a problem as Barclays just at top of lane. Baguette and panini freshly made with plenty of filling, accompanying salad perfectly adequate and along with a cup of tea for a total price of under £15 nothing more to be said really. It’s what it says on the tin, a cafe and a good one at that! Staff quiet but that’s fine as well. Hi

Mooca Cafe is somewhat of a Curate's Egg. The positives - good location, on my last visit excellent service and decent coffee. The negatives - food is acceptable but fairly standard. In reality I would like to give them an almost 4 because the service was so good but the food slightly lets it down. Would I return - yes.

Just off the high street lies this cafe. The service on this occasion was excellent, friendly staff with smiles - all you can ask for. A nice selection of food and drink available, ideal for lunch or brunch. Overall really enjoyable experience and a place for a quick bite to come back to time and time again. Can confirm the chicken is halal.

My sister and myself thought it would be nice to meet her daughter for a spot of lunch during her lunch break. We ordered various baguettes but after 45 minutes no sign of them. When we complained that my niece had to get back to work and had missed te chance for any lunch the member of staff just shrugged their shoulders and offered a refund. A nice day spoiled.

Four of us stopped off here for a snack lunch. Nice choice on menu and friendly staff/ owners? Not expensive for what you get. My bacon baguette had a lot of tasty bacon as well as salad and crisps. No complaints from any of us!

We came in for breakfast and found it to be very basic and not particularly good quality. Perhaps we're spoilt being from Yorkshire as the bacon and sausage were cheap tasting, which wasn't reflected in the price

Popped in yesterday for some light lunch. 2 Coffees & 2 Hot Chocolates and 4 Sandwich/Baguettes cost £27. Food and service was decent. Seemed to have a lot of regulars popping in for a coffee. Makes a change from the generic multi site coffee outlets in the area.

Visited and not only was service terrible, but the ordered cakes were stale and tasteless. Very much a waste of good money. Grubby, tatty surroundings really made me uneasy about eating anything in the premises. Not usually leaving reviews unless particularly good or particularly bad. This was bad.

Full English maybe it should be described as a Small English nothing full about it thank goodness for the two anaemic toast. My friend had a bacon and egg baguette but hardly any bacon. We ordered a tea and a coffee but they forgot my coffee. No apology. Staff can hardly speak any English and are not friendly in the least. Who runs this place ? does anyone?

There are many places to get coffee these days, and hard to distinguish between them. This cafe is in a charming lane between the High Street and the Green.

Possibly the worst cooked breakfast we’ve ever attempted to eat . The service was polite and no problems there but the food was simply awful . Processed ham , a pale fried egg and some frozen chips . Indelible and the little I ate repeated on me all day , my daughter felt quite unwell after attempting to eat the full English - managed 1 sausage toast and a few beans . Go over the bridge and there are some beautiful cafes instead.

We went here as a family on a Sunday for lunch, the 4 of us ate in the bar ordered at the bar and were shocked to find we were charged 10% service charge for eating in the bar, which is separate from the restaurant, apart from bringing our food to our table I don’t know why we were charged this service charge for as we did not receive table service. The roast dinner we ordered at £21 each for myself and my partner was exactly the same size portion as my sons child’s roast that cost £8.50, when we complained to the manager we were told ‘to order a kids portion next time to save some money’, lovely customer relations, we were told that this is a chain. The place is always empty now we see why, the service is shocking, there are flies everywhere. We will not be returning to this profiteering extortionate bar again.

A lovely venue. Friendly and helpful staff. We only went in for a drink but next time will have a meal. Food looked good and judging by the amount of people in the restaurant it is a popular venue.

We have enjoyed eating here in the past but on this occasion it was a definite deux points. When you pay nearly £50 for two small plates of fish and chips and two pints of cider you expect it to be better than the fish and chips at Morrisons. Instead the fish was dry and clearly not restaurant quality while the chips were indifferent at best. If I’d paid £8 in a cafe I would have been disappointed but in a “bistro” pub that pretends to be a Belgian style restaurant it feels like yet another eating establishment that has lost its way.
