I visited with my 3 year old on Saturday. A lady working there was very attentive with us and even got my 3 year old some colouring pencil and stickers for her to keep entertained! Just lovely!

Preferred defunct Twickenham branch but staff great here. Lauren is a star employee.

I was looking forward to a relaxing few moments with a cappuccino and a croissant,.. the later was flat as a pancake, and not properly baked; obviously a left over from the day before, piled in the fridge with other stuff sitting on top of it. The cappuccino was done just short of ten minutes later, and when I went to collect it, asking whether it was mine, I was met with an abrupt “Yep!” There were barely few people sitting and even less waiting,, so I’ve little understanding for the wait. To top it off, the continuous clattering of utensils and saucers didn’t allow for the relaxing moments I was looking to enjoy. I shall not be returning to this establishment any time soon.

Great spot but please bring back the sofas

My 'go to' coffee shop when in St Margarets. Staff always friendly, normally served quickly, (unless it's busy period in morning), which is to be expected. Good coffee, and well worth using their app for bonus coffee.

Very dirty place. We ordered a Soya Flat White and an Oat Latte. Once we get to the collection point we can see how unhygienic the entire coffee counter was including the steamer which was full of dried old burnt milk and witnessed my own Oat latte being made in front of my eyes using the same steamer and when questioned regarding cross contamination the staff look confused and unsure what to do. After they finished the latte, she didn't even cleaned the steamer, no doubt why it looks like that. I asked for a refund as I wouldn't be drinking anything from there. Finally, told them how it should be cleaned and I will come back to check.

great coffee, really friendly staff but get takeaway only; cafe is freezing inside as staff told me today they have no control re the air conditioning and it has been a persistent problem. So just take the coffee to local park….thats the win win warm winner!

Whenever you go there, always dirty. Everywhere is unclean and not tidy. If you sit by the wall, you can't tell when the floor or wall has been cleanedT. he kitchen is filthy either. You can see when you ordering, so it is even more noticeable. And so it’s also questionable whether the children's toys are sanitised. I remember that the coffee was good when I had about a year ago. I was surprised when I went and ordered it the other day. It tasted terrible. I don't think it is a feature of this shop. It just didn't taste good. It's a pity, because if it were a little cleaner, if the coffee machine were cleaner and if the taste wasn't so cloying, it would be a normal coffee shop. The location is good, the inside is spacious and comfortable. I only wish it could be better place again.

Amazing atmosphere, the staff are 10/10, so helpful, attractive and accommodating.

Shocked and disgusted at the behaviour of the female member of staff (she wouldn’t tell me her name when asked because she “doesn’t have to”) working at 5pm today. She was extremely unwelcoming from the point of ordering, answering our questions about the menu like it was to much trouble which is no big deal as she was behaving this way with everyone but she then kept throwing evils at me, rolling her eyes shaking her head in a very obvious way. The other member of staff was lovely. It seemed like a kid friendly café with toys and books but she has totally put me off, we won’t be back or recommending to anyone. My partner is Asian, I hope that wasn’t the issue?! There was absolutely no other reason for such a hostile attitude.

Great place for a Sunday morning escape. Cup of coffee and nice baristas and owners small chatting and listening to other folks conversation and smile. Cool in summer and warm in winter. They moderate temperatures well and super dog friendly place. I am not a big fan of their coffee beans choice but that’s my POV and should not harm your view. Plenty of parking if you are dropping off kids for activities and just a get away. WiFi is good as the 4g is terrible here.

I had a very nice cup of Enhlish Breakfast Tea, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service was excellent. I can also state that the toilet is accessible and in good order.

The coffee is maybe not the best but very good, the staff are obliging and very nice, the larger chairs are comfortable, the views through the window of people passing are interesting, and the café is well situated for shopping at Tesco's or getting to the station. My local café of choice.

Coffee was ok.Cheese toasty was melted cheese on two slices of untoasted bread. Looked a bit on the grubby side. Toilet was really in need of some tlc. Sorry but would give another visit a miss.

Coffee is good and lots of seating available if they are not busy. I like the back area if you want somewhere set apart. kate the Manager was terrific reserving a table for a birthday breakfast for us. I love the porridge here its very tasty. I found all the staff helpful and I have been in a number of times.

It's probably very good and seems busy, but I had to mark it down as they lack vegan options. They made me a vegan porridge, which was OK. Friendly helpful service so I would still go back.

Lovely coffee shop with very nice coffee. They regularly change their coffee so you can "taste" whole "coffee world" in one place, you just need to come back every time when you want a great coffee. Standard selection of cakes, sandwiches etc, the sitting area is big enough for this branch and is usually clean and tidy.

Very pleasant. Had a toastie a sit down and admired the puppies.

Nice place. Sadly the customer service was appalling!!! I was served by a rude male with blonde hair. Possibly in his late 20's - couldn’t quite tell. But he had a very negative attitude. He dictated exactly where I should stand to place my order and pay - he didn’t listen to what I was asking him as he was too busy talking over me, loudly! All I asked for was a latte, extra hot, takeaway please! I had to repeat as he was simply not listening. I was quite taken back by him asking me to take one step to the left (quite literally) to place the order. Luckily I was doing a takeaway - I couldn’t have sat in after receiving that sort of service. Not a nice experience - may not choose to go there again. Please employ kinder people!

This is a cozy cafe with good open space, the friendliest of staff, offering colouring for kids, and very good coffee.

Very very rude male blonde-ish employee in his late 20's early 30's Terrible attitude. I walked in, he had a rude dictative voice tone asked me to put a mask on , I was excempt as I had shortness of breath on that day. I told him I was excempt. He said ok, I asked him what was in the particular sandwich that I was interested in, he pointed aggressively to the sign next to the sandwich " This" with a sarcastic expression (as if I'm so dn that I didn't see the sign in front of it) I've clearly seen the sign but because I have allergies my question was going to be what it contains, any nuts ?? Anyways it was a bad experience. I decided not to eat there and went to another place. Please hire people with good energies.

Nice food staff very welcome and polite

The staff here are really friendly - always open to have a chat. In terms of coffee - I'm not that fussed at all. Have had a couple of times, but it just doesn't do it for me. I'm no connoisseur but, it seems like quite a light roast which is quite sweet. However - the toasted cheese and ham croissants are not to be ignored!

Popped in here for the first time a few days ago and absolutely loved the place! Lovely friendly staff. The sandwiches are fantastic! I had a fantastic egg sandwich. I know an egg sandwich doesn’t sound like much but this one was delicious! Love it!

I hate TA and can’t stand the notion the public judge a business on the basis of a single visit. i own a Cafe thats why! However I had a Flat white and a breakfast wrap last Saturday. I bit into the wrap and it was still frozen inside. That was despite my waiting 10 minutes. No thats fixable. But the reason I’m writing this is the appalling staff response. Did they offer a replacement? Did they apologise? Did they offer compensation? NO. They looked at each other and explained they were forced to use a different oven! If the Local Hygiene officer was treated to that would they accept it? I don’t think so. Eventually it was sorted but these guys seemed happy to serve food that could poison people and felt ok to blame a new oven. Cripes? Ill take this review down as soon as the owner satisfies me that they will change this attitude. But I’ll come check first.

Friendly neighbourhood cafe with good coffee and toasties. Enjoy coming here for a working breakfast.

Serving barista was so nice and helpful. But the back of the cafe is now used as a store room. Apparently very untidy and not appealing view. Front seating desks are problematic. Chained very tight.

Staff are great, coffee is good. Room temp, air con on and it is 7 degrees outside. Asked the happy manager to turn it off, she just left it! Coat on indoors, not a good look.

Came in here while waiting for my train back to Clapham . Nice decor and good staff. Coffee was good also , must use a nice blend. Their range of soft drinks was poor, not everyone likes iced tea lol. They also had run out of a lot of cake and pastry, which I know it was later in day , but being so close to station they must get a footfall at this time

What a nice atmosphere to relax in this gorgeous neighbourhood. Tables and sofas very comfy. Great selection of pastries and coffees, well located , spacious and friendly staff . Recommended

Enjoy relaxing with a coffee or a hot chocolate. Husband enjoys scones with jam and clotted cream. Only thing I hate are people who are obviously using the place to work or conduct business meetings as we find it distracting especially if they stand up and start stretching or start pointing to computer screens.

I really like this place. The coffee and cakes are a cut above the other chains but no more expensive and there is plenty of room for buggies so you don't feel you're in everyone's way.

I have started popping in here each morning to get a coffee before I head to the train. Every morning the staff great me with a smile and are so friendly and welcoming. They always ask after me and just generally make the morning that bit nicer. I have also downloaded their app and frequently benefit from free coffees, much faster that other loyalty cards I’ve had. To top it off the coffee is always piping hot and delicious!

Good little coffee shop. However very noisy, seating area is quite old and worn. Also staff are too slow to clear tables, leaving it to customers.

Had a lovely latte here. Nice smooth rich coffee which wasn’t bitter. Nice touch of the heart shaped coffee art. I’ve been to a few other branches and haven’t been disappointed yet.

Their coffee really is great, but I'd stopped coming to this cafe for a long while because I found the staff too patronising. Asked for a long espresso and was given a lecture about why my request was so ignorant. Even after being sitted enjoying my coffe (long) one member of staff managed to come close enough to enquary more about my taste in coffee (with the correspondent condescending look). Funny, nevertheless, a reason for not coming back. One day I saw different staff so I entered and enjoyed a lovely americano (I still fear to ask for a long espresso). Te establishment is wide and well lighted with glass walls. I like it there. The food was still ok. --Edited-- after a couple of years of the previous review for which I gave three stars, I found the staff they've had for a while is brilliant. So friendly and helpful. The coffee tastes delicious and the food is nice too.

Great little coffee shop in Richmond. Really nice and polite staff. The coffee tastes excellent and they have some nice snacks to go with your tea or coffee. Easy to find location and relatively easy to park on the side street.

A busy local cafe. There's a good range of drinks and snacks and some comfy seating. The downside is the long wait for one's coffee. It can sometimes be ages before it's ready.

Great Tea and lovely relaxed friendly vibe

I work less than 300 yards (well, metres if you prefer) away from this place, and pass it at least once a day during the week, around lunchtime. It's pretty popular and when it's not crowded I'll pop in for a coffee, as I did today. Sometimes I'll have a 'real cheese' toasted sandwich for lunch. I don't know how it's done, but it really is the best of its kind I've found. Chatting up the friendly staff is always fun. Yes, there are often young mothers in there with their children, but I've never seen a child behave badly there, unlike what was said in a recent post. And if you are from a local business, they'll give you a discount. I am, and I'll be back.

Friendly staff, child welcoming, food good, coffee and tea mediocre

This is one of about 6 coffee shops/cafes near St. Margaret's station near Twickenham. It is next to a Tesco who apparently used to own this chain of coffee shops. It shows. I ordered a coffee at the counter. When it had been prepared the boy shouted across the room for me to go and collect it. Getting past the collection of massive prams parked in awkward spots all round the room was tricky, as was avoiding the occupants who were crawling round the floor. This seems to be a meeting spot for mummies presumably whiling away their time during those long arduous days. The noise was typically off-putting if you weren't involved in creating it, and the kids were left to run amok with free reign as is the fashion. Fine if you're their mum but not a nice atmosphere if you have popped in for a coffee, want to do emails on the wifi or just meet someone for a chat. I imagine that any raised eyebrow in the instance of ankle-biting would be met with cold hostility by these entitled, self-regarding divas. Plenty of other options locally.
