Euro Cafe in Richmond upon Thames

I am so pleased to find just a normal cafe! Prices are not inflated to some 'boutique' cafes, and the food is top-notch. I haven't been able to find a good old bubble and squeak on a menu for a long time! Oh, and it was spot-on, as was the bacon, eggs cooked to my taste, tomatoes, and sausage. A lovely couple running the place, too. My breakfast set me up for the rest of my day! Even managed to park, literally, right outside for free - another rarity. Thank you.

Tremendous friendly cafe with good value food and friendly helpful staff

I have been going to these place for years - today at lunch I had. Prawn salad with a side of hash browns. While eating the salad I found a long white hair in my mouth : 20cms long) wrapped up with the prawns. I showed it to them, and they said they would make me a new salad. Then they ran out of prawns. I asked for a refund to which they charged me for the hash browns. Despite have a disgusting hair In my mouth from their unclean kitchen and not really offering an apology. I asked they when they charged me for the hash brown -“ she said you ate it in it “. I said really - she said yes the boss would be upset if I didn’t charge you. I said if that’s how you treat your customers I won’t come back -she said fine you complain all the time. I don’t think receiving hairs in my food, sometimes undercooked bacon etc amounts to complaining all the time. Will never go there again. -be mindful

Great cafe as always on Sheen Lane just by Mortlake Station. I continue to come here and any food I've had has always been first class, either meat or fish or otherwise. I had a tuna salad which was freshly prepared and went down a treat. Plenty of choice here from trad food to good cuisine. Highly recommended. And it is still as good today. A tasty treat of traditional English cafe and continental if you prefer. Caters for everyone and is top drawer, from a quick snack to a full dinner.And still the same high standards. Clean and good food.

I waited 10 minutes for an espresso and left without any coffee, the place was empty.

Took veg breakfast as a takeaway and it tasted shockingly bad and gave me an upset stomach. The taste was something else. Threw it to the pigeons! Never eating from there again. Please avoid frying food in the same oil!!

Food is very good, and a much broader range than you would expect from a local cafe. Service is friendly and very good. Value is very good. And there are veg options.

Haven't been in here for years but got the urge for a weekend fry-up and there aren't many caffs like this left in the area, more's the pity. Went for the Kings Breakfast, which had eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, hash browns, tomato and black pudding, with toast and coffee - all for less than a tenner! Dived straight in and didn't take a picture, sorry! Well cooked and delicious. Would have preferred a more meaty sausage but still highly recommended for an old school 'greasy spoon' experience...

You know what you are getting with this cafe....decent food for a very good price! Venue could do with a touch up would be my only gripe.

I ordered an egg and sausage sandwich (runny yolk) on crusty bread. The egg was half cooked and its yolk had popped. The sausages looked like something that came out of a tin. The bread wasn’t crusty bread. I dread to think what the rest of the food was like if they can’t even manage the most basic of things.

A much needed pit stop on the way to a section of the London Capital Ring. It's a typical cafe, with standard breakfast and hot drinks. Exactly what was expected, and needed. They have some interesting décor, with old radios on the wall.

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and Euro Cafe is a trusty go to place for full breakfast at reasonable prices too. 🍳 🥓 ☕️

Great cafe. Plenty of seating and a few tables outside. Good hearty food and a reasonable selection. And oay and display parking outside. Always a pleasure

Nice staff longish wait for takeout but was good food and not small portion will use them again guessing wait was to cook fresh stuff not pre cook as too many others

The gentleman after I've place an order, told me amount and demand payment upfront and looked at me like I would be a thief. You just lost client and tip. I'm recommending another cafe just 10 meters away from this euro joke

We had lunch here as it was near the station. We had spag bol and burger. The spag bol was very nice and value for money. We also tried their smoothie which was also good.

Came yesterday and young curly head served me. He was realy nice to me :) He recommended me the King's Breakfast which was realy great! I will come definitely again. :)

Came here few days ago. they just hired a young boy with a constant smile on his face really brightened up the day. Huge difference from my prior dull visits. great food with okay prices

Arrived at7am, I was the only customer at the time. Waited over 40 minutes for beans on toast ! Other customers arrived 10-15 minutes after me and still got their food first. Told the owner I’d been waiting 30 minutes and still managed to complete new orders before my own !! Waited so long I walked out!!! Terrible service. Avoid at all costs !!! P.S the other guy I was with ordered a BLT he also didn’t get his food either ! Despite the fact the server multiple people bacon while we sat there waiting….

Worst Breakfast baguette I have ever had. Asked for a breakfast baguette and came in a roll. They changed it and came back cold. Waiting for around 40 minutes and wasn't even that busy. Would definitely not recommend.

Shame I can't give less than 1 star, the owner is quite possibly the rudest person I've ever meet. The cafe tried to pass off an upside-down crumpet as a muffin then told my friend to go buy her own muffins if she wanted one. I do not understand quite how making a complaint about asking for something we paid for ended up in a full blown row with the owner who then decide to insult a small child and then another member of staff placed his hands on my friend who was complaining and manhandled her out the door.

When we are working local we come here for breakfast, occasionally lunch, great food ,nice coffee and service with a smile Wilson roofing 👍

Love this cafe - it’s my sons favourite. They make the nicest hash browns and hot chocolate ever. My son usually calls up places an order and then we walk over to collect. I am not sure what the ladies name is who works there but she is always so lovely and pleasant.

My daily lunch supplier. Excellent, REAL food, decently priced as well, which is very rare these days. A variety of healthy dishes available with recepies inspired from all across Europe including some traditional English choices too. Had the best chicken avocado sandwich yesterday. They are also helping the community with essentials during the pandemic. 10/10 in all areas. Would definitely recommend. A massive thank you and kudos to the staff for being there for us daily even in these crazy times.

Great food for affordable prices. Also, the place is very cosy and popular among the local people. I`ve tried several dishes from the menu and never left disappointed. I recommend their fries and pancakes especially. Really tasty breakfast & good, big portions.

Just had halloumi wrap and it ended up in the bin. Cucamber , avocado and salad were warm and just discussing. Good for traditional breakfast but nothing else.

Ordered scrambled eggs on toast this morning before someone else came in and ordered the same as me, they were served before me and I had to ask were mine was, they had completely forgotten my order so I got money back as they didn't seem to bothered about it. I'll try again tomorrow as I'm working in the area and I don't want to be hungry again.

This place is much better than the outside would suggest. The food is nice and very well cooked, the fried is well done and light. Can't fault the place really. It is a Cafe....not a fine dining Restaurant. As a Cafe....they are doing a 5 Star Job! Good food.....hot tea....and didn't come out stinking of fried food!

Popped into Euro Cafe for a quick coffee and was unfamiliar with the area. Staff were welcoming and pleasant and quickly took our order. The coffee was really nice! I was surprised. Didn’t grab a bite to eat but could see from the menu that there was a mixture of breakfasts, light lunches (jacket potatoes) sandwiches with a variety of fillings, a children’s menu and desserts. Would recommend. There is seating in and outdoor and parking is little limited as the pay and display bays were pretty full.

This is a fab traditional cafe, does a great breakfast. Staff are friendly and welcoming, it's good to see cafes like this still exists. It has outside seating and a decent menu.

Reasonably priced traditional cafe fare. I enjoyed my poached eggs and tomatoes on toast. Cappuccino was good, generously sized cup and cost €2.10.

Grate cafe parking is around one pound per hour am a local custom I go there all most Every week . The food I can honestly describe as exquisite and the price is fair. Anyway don't just take my word for it go go people discovered good things even in your local area peace am gone

Went for the Fatboys brekkie after a massive night on the sauce, I was very impressed with the quality and quantity of the goods! Staff were really friendly, I'd definitely come again!
