I was extremely disappointed with the drinks, They had no flavour and the staff were incredibly rude, this was a huge waste of money and time

My daughter had wanted to try bubble tea for a long time, so took her to buy one, there was no queue, so walked in. however, the strawberry bubble tea tasted awful, like one of those cheap plastic carton drinks that are sometimes at kids parties., don't waste your money. also refused to take cash and would only take card. wont be going back

It was really good a few years back. However it started going downhill when they moved from their spacious store to a really cramped one, annoying but at the time fine. The quality of the drinks have stayed the same but the staff have gotten rude and slower as time has gone on. On my previous 2 visits I had to wait between 10 - 15 minutes for 2 drinks compared to the 3 - 5 minutes it used to be. If you know anywhere else that does these kind of drinks I can almost guarantee you will have a better experience there rather than MooBoo.

Went with my daughter on Sunday. Was glad to see that the queue wasn’t as big as it normally is and didn’t expect to wait long. Ordered one drink for my daughter and then stood outside the shop for 20 mins for the order (3 other people in the queue) staff standing round socialising and laughing. 2 staff members kept going outside the shop to chat to what seemed like were friends. The cup wrapping machine ran out of plastic and watched 2 of the staff faffing round with the machine for 10 minutes to load another one. Drink was ok but not worth the 20 min wait. Won’t be returning anytime soon. Staff need some training on how to be more efficient and professional. Disappointing

We have been visiting for a few years and have always found the staff to be abrupt, rude and lacking interpersonal skills. We visited yesterday at 7:45pm and were met by a female staff member who almost unwillingly took our order as though she was doing us a favour. As we were ordering, a customer had joined the queue behind us waiting to order As we waited outside for our order, this staff member came outside and told the lady in the queue that "We're closed now and not taking any more drinks orders" and shut the door! It was 7:50pm - 10 minutes before closing time. Would it have been that difficult to serve the last customer who was in line way before closing time? That's the straw that broke the camel's back for us - we won't be visiting again. I imagine the same could be said for the customer you turned away.

I’ve been going to Mooboo for quite a while now and absolutely love the drinks there... however the staff are lazy and rude. I waited at the front of the queue for 10 minutes today while they took there time and continued to speak to each other about things un-related to their jobs. While I waited for my drink, the manager was on her phone doing nothing, while the other two were slowly and effortlessly making drinks. I have spoken to other people about this and the staff there seem to be known as rude, lazy and unprofessional. Highly recommend the drinks, however do not expect polite/good service from the staff.

Went to the store today (3rd March 2020) at around 4pm, i walked in and the lady working there was hostile and miserable, looked like she didn't want to be there at all or serve us, asked for my drink for me and my little brother and she didn't even both to drain the bits from the bubbles properly and just shoved them in the cup. I used to love the staff In the old Mooboo, the new staff need changing for sure, made me not want to come back i was that mad!

Went on a college trip to liverpool so didnt know our way round. We went in for a drink and got followed by a group of teenagers and attacked. The staff told us to get out of the shop as it wasn’t there responsibility. The group of teenagers targeted us and were in our faces screaming and threatening us which you would of thought the staff would of phoned the police or helped us but they did neither exept telling us to get out of the shop.

I used to go here often, given that it was the only boba place in Liverpool, after trying superior places like Bubbleology I realise now what a p*sstake Mooboo has been and avoid it like the plague. Their convoluded list of flavours never seem to be done right, staff often giving you the wrong thing. The tea is often plain and bitter. The tapioca is fresh but service is slow and overpriced. I believe it's only popular because there's no other boba alternative in Liverpool. If they had competition near Liverpool One, they wouldn't stand a chance.

I dont usually go to mooboo but today i was able to go as i had spare time whilst i was shopping, and i just want to say the young lady who served me was fantastic, i think her name was emily or milly (im not quite sure which one) and she most have been in her late teens or very early twenties. Her attitudes and politeness was absolutely wonderful she asked me how my day was going (which is hardly asked anymore), complimented me on my outfit and then gave me a little boost in my moral! i have taken my time to write this review on here because most young people nowadays just work for the money and do the bare necessities without being polite. i know nobody reads the google reviews and i wanted to let the staff of mooboo know that this woman was ever so polite and should be given praise for her positive work ethic. if you ever do speak to her over this review please do let her know Paula says thanks for the lovely mooboo tea and i’ll definitely come back more often because of her ! xx

Every time I go to the Liverpool One MooBoo it's super busy, and it's obvious why that is! The bubble tea is lovely, with such a huge selection of treats to try, it's something really fun and interesting whether you go all the time or it's your first visit. Despite how slammed the place always is, the staff cope with the stress incredibly well, getting out order after order and always with patience and smiles. Even if there is a que out of the door, the staff always take time to chat to you if you strike up a conversation with them. If you're unsure what to get, they will always give their recommendation and even tell you what their favourite flavour is! I have high social anxiety, but I can always manage to go to MooBoo because I know the staff are friendly and will not make me feel unwelcome or stupid if I become confused or need to take my time when deciding on what to have. I think if you go into such a place with a smile (and how could you not, it's a treat after all) then you will certainly get one back.

After reading some comments I’d like to stress that the customer service here was amazing Yes there were teenagers serving me but they battled through a big crowd and got to me in good time I encountered polite conversation with both of the workers and they made my drink fast I hadn’t been to this shop before so the young girl helped me choose a brand new drink to try and I will definitely get this drink again and return back to this shop My mum loves it!! Would 100% recommend as it’s such a nice shop and it makes lovely teas Thanks to the people who made my experience to Liverpool amazing I’ll come back just for the tea!!

The service was horrible. On arriving the woman was smoking and I said it’s ok to take your time but as a good assistant threw it and came to serve us. As I didn’t know whether I had cash in the car I said I’ll brb. At this i think she got annoyed so, on returned the smoker put out the cigarette and pretty much hit the door in our face as we walked in. Was reluctant with answering questions and was messy and clearly aggravated. Would definitely not recommend to a friend

I'm making a point of leaving a bad review because the service was SO bad. The staff member was extremely rude and obnoxious, I was actually shocked! Unfortunately I didn't catch her name because I was in such disbelief. I left feeling very angry and if I wasn't with 2 teenagers I would of walked out without the drinks! Zero customer service and a very bad attitude. I won't be recommending and I think you choice of employees is questionable to say the least.

I was really disappointed after visiting Mooboo on Sunday morning for bubble tea. We arrived about an hour after opening and were informed there were no tapioca pearls, along with another of the topping options. I was charged £4.20 for a sub-par hot “classic mooboo” with coconut jelly (extra 20p to heat). The tea was extremely watery, bitter and lacked the classic milky tea flavor. I am unsure if any milk, beside the powder creamer, was used in tea at all. I’d recommend giving this place a miss and seeking out more authentic bubble teas elsewhere, perhaps independent businesses run in China town. I’m not sure if the bubble tea in this franchise usually tastes better or if the lack of flavor is a common experience, but I won’t be going back to found out!

Best boba I've ever had. Not too sweet and tacky like the cheap western ones I've had, and not too bitter like the authentic ones. Honeydew milk tea with lychee balls was delicious. Polite and quick service

There isn't that many bubble tea places in Liverpool, however this one was really popular, so we gave it a try and bought the original bubble tea with tapioca. The tapioca was actually a lot nice than the normal ones we have, not sure if it's because they put some sort of syrup on it.

The tea is amazing here. I have managed to get two friends and even my mother hooked on the stuff. The Tapioca pearls are deliciously sweet and the popping balls are juicy. The best part is that the drinks are soy as I am Lactose-Intolerant and so is my mother.

Staff weren't the friendliest, explained it was our first time and pretty much ignored us! We tried the strawberry with strawberry topping and the passionfruit with tapioca topping. The strawberry was the nicer of the two it's topping bursts in your mouth straight away while the tapioca was very chewy, also the passionfruit was quite tasteless

As an asian i can highly recommend this place. Love the bubbletea. Large menu and delicious flavours BUT the only downside and reason for only 3 points is that 7/10 times the staff is miserable and unfriendly. Absolute no go for me. I always have to convince myself to go there because staff is not helpfull, well trained or nice in any way. Had a question last time and staff couldn't answer. Instead of finding someone who could answer just ignoring the question. Poor service.

The drinks were lovely, don't get me wrong. As it wasn't first visit (quite obviously as me and my friend were very excited as entering) the staff member behind the till, blonde young man, muttered "ready to order now ladies" and then automatically assumed we knew what we wanted and/or what to do. And then he asked about toppings, and in a rush I ordered the jelly instead of the popping balls, sadly. Tasty juice otherwise though.

I'm generally a fan of costa coffee - the tiffin is usually great, the coffee is fine. However, on this occasion it just didn't work. Quite a limited choice of food on offer, and one of the least friendly customer teams I've come across. The toasted sandwich also tasted a bit stale frankly. There was also no decaf coffee on offer. The tiffin was lovely however. Not sure I'll visit this branch again soon - better off going to other places around the corner.
